The Ludington Area Jaycees are a group of individuals 21-40 years of age interested in professional development and community services. The club hosts social events along with providing leadership opportunities through community projects. Tom Hinman and his wife Beth know good coffee! Inspired by his late father-in-law, Tom started roasting his own coffee on a cast iron skillet. His passion for coffee and interest in roasting grew his garage hobby into a retail business, Omage Coffee Roasters. He now roasts at the Starving Artist Brewery using a drum roaster and purchases high quality coffee beans to make his artisanal roasts. Tom recommends investing in a burr grinder as a way to have a better home cup of coffee.
