In this episode Jen Wozny and Heather chat about her 4-year long road trip to heal herself and become an energy healer and life coach. Jen shares her insights on stepping into what is given to us, what is right for us and we are all capable of so much more than we think we are.

In honour of Mother's Day and my mom. My mom passed away two years ago, one of the many things she taught me was to believe in myself. She truly believing that I could do whatever I want to do. One of my favorite quotes is by Henry Ford "Whether you think you can, or you think you can't – you're right."

Celebrating 50 Episodes
First of all, I can’t believe this is Episode 51! When I started this journey I didn’t know where it was going to go. I’m in awe of the women I get to meet and their story. I’m thankful that I get to share them with you through this medium of podcasting and I look forward to sharing more stories of awesome women.
If there’s a woman out there that you think would make an amazing interview for the show. Please let me know here: contact form.
Yes, You Can!
It's Mother's Day when I'm recording this and there are amazing messages all over the Internet, Facebook, Instagram and everywhere. Wishing strong women, Happy Mother's Day.
My mother passed away two years ago, I miss her but I know she is always with me. One of the many things my mother taught me was to believe in myself. She truly believing that I could do whatever I want to do.
She also taught us that one misstep, one thing that doesn't go right isn't going to affect the rest of your life. My mother did it in a very quiet and powering way that just made us believe that we could be and do anything. One of my favorite quotes is by Henry Ford "Whether you think you can, or you think you can't – you're right."
How can you stop yourself when you say you can't do something? When you have a negative feeling about your abilities. Here's the truth - you can do anything. Yes, it's hard. Yes, it takes work, but that doesn't mean that you can't do it.
Sometimes we're so risk-adverse, we're so worried about what might not work that we don't take the chance and allow something to work. Can you relate to that?
So that's what I wish for you today. Take the chance, take the leap of faith, believe in yourself the way that your mother would believe in you. And so what if it doesn't work out?
Yes you can! Just do it, jump in and go for it. That's when you'll see the brilliant moments in your business and you'll see it go to the next level.
Happy Mother's Day to everyone, take some risk in your business and believe in yourself. Yes, you can!

Are you driving outside your lane? Are you sharing information on social media or with clients that isn't in your area of mastery? It might seem that you are being helpful but really you are hurting your business.
Listen to this week’s Ready for More! Podcast weekly tip where I share 3 cost of "driving outside your lane" in your business.
If you like what you hear please come and join the Ready For More! Women Business Owners Circle, we are a Facebook group of 40+ women entrepreneurs helping each other reach for our More!
3 Costs of Driving Outside Your Lane:
You confuse people - if they are not clear on what you specifically do for them then they are not going to buy from you. It's difficult to stay in your mastery and offer your clients the best solutions - When we stray from our brilliance we are not giving our clients our best. We wouldn't want a heart surgeon operating on our knee. You're under serving your clients - We serve our clients the best when we stay in our area of mastery and refer them to experts in other areas.
Note: It is OK to share information that is outside your lane as long as it is related to your expertise and you do not position yourself as an expert.

We are all faced with doing something new in our business. It is almost impossible not to be given the rapid changes in how we communicate and market. Learning something new can be uncomfortable, it can difficult, it can be frustrating, it can be exciting and all of those feelings are normal.
Listen to this week’s Ready for More! Podcast weekly tip where I share the 4 four stages of learning any new skill.
If you like what you hear please come and join the Ready For More! Women Business Owners Circle, we are a group of 40+ women entrepreneurs helping each other reach for our More!
The Four Stages of Learning
There are four stages of learning that we all go through when we take on something new. Whether it is learning how to drive a car, develop a product or start to use Instagram.
The 4 stage are:
1) Unconscious Incompetence – This is the stage where “we don’t know that we don’t know”. Where we don’t actually know something is out there to learn or use. For example, many of my clients have never thought about creating an online offering and have no idea how to do it.
2) Conscious Incompetence – At this stage, we now know about what we want to learn but we have no idea on how to do it. We start and it is often pretty rocky, scary and overwhelming. Remember the 1st time you tried to ride a bike?
3) Conscious Competence – At this stage, we’ve proven to ourselves that we can now implement the new skill. We are starting to see the results that we want and we are able to repeat, with confidence, the new skills. However, it still takes concentration not to falter.
4) Unconscious Competence – In this final stage, we become so used to performing a particular skill we don’t have to think about it anymore. It becomes second nature, we just do it.
As business owners, it important be aware of these stages and allow them to happen. It is important to not give up when you are stage 1 or 2. You have to give yourself time to learn the skills and build your confidence.
What in your business is in Stage 4: Unconscious Competence?
Are learning something new and in stage 1, 2 or 3? What new.

In this episode Tami Stackelhouse and Heather chat about her journey from a fibromyalgia patient to a fibromyalgia coach. Tami shares the reward and challenges of moving from a solo entrepreneur/coach to training and running a team of coaches.
“What I charge is actually part of how I help my clients. It means they are more committed, they are going to get better results and they are going to show up to their coaching calls. And if I don't charge enough money then it is easy for them to blow that off, not do the work and not get the results. Is that actually helping them? No I don't think it is." - Tami Stackelhouse
Who is Tami Stackelhouse?
Tami Stackelhouse dreams of a day when all fibromyalgia patients have access to the care and support they need to thrive; she is doing all she can to make that dream come true. A fibromyalgia patient herself, Tami has gone from disabled to thriving. Her compassion, gentle support, and fun coaching style have helped fibromyalgia patients all over the world take back control of their lives.
Tami is the Founder of the International Fibromyalgia Coaching Institute and author of "The Fibromyalgia Coach" and "Take Back Your Life."

And sometimes you need someone who is farther a head on the path to show you the path.”

Not only are you afraid when facing the unknown, so is everyone else!Pushing through fear is less frightening than living with the bigger underlying fear that comes from a feeling of helplessness!

What is the worst thing that could happen if I do...?What will I regret more?Who am I not serving if I don't do it? Who is waiting for what I have to offer?
"I can't lose - regardless of the outcome of the decision I make. The world is a place of opportunity, and I look forward to the opportunities for learning and growing that either pathway gives me." - Susan Jeffers

I was lucky, my phone was protected and I was able to get it back within a few days. Imagine what would have happened if I hadn't invested in a good protective case.
How is your business protected against the unexpected? What would happen if your computer suddenly died (my PC died last week)? Is your data backed up? What would happen if you catch the flu (I did last week)? Would your business still function?
Listen to this week’s Ready for More! Podcast weekly tip and learn 4 important things to think about to protect your business from the unexpected.

What protection do you need for your business?Anticipate what might happen – Think about how your business can run for a few days if you are unable to work. What do you need to be ahead on so that things can still work if you get sick?Back up everything – For many of us our computers are often our business’ life. They contain our contacts, our records, our products, our documentation and so much. Back it up regularly, invest in an external back system, either in the cloud or on an external drive.Know where to get help (and ask for it!) – Don’t hesitate to ask for help when things go wrong. It is the fastest way to recover and the best way to serve your customers.

What do you do to get unstuck?
Listen to this week’s Ready for More! Podcast weekly tip and learn 3 ways to get unstuck. This episode was a spontaneous topic as I shared how I got unstuck and back to being productive.

Highlights: 3 Ways to Get Unstuck
Let’s face it, we all get stuck. It is part of life and it is part of being in business. Certainly, you can let it spin in your heads and get frustrated or you can refocus your energy.
I know when I get really stuck I’ve learned to do one of the following:
Get away – If I’m really stuck and frustrated the best thing for me is to get away from it for a while. Get up from the computer and get moving, go for a walk, run a business errand, do something that takes you away from sitting and thinking. I find the best breakthroughs happen for me when I’m out walking my dog and my mind is able to relax and be constructive. Talk it out – Sometimes being stuck requires someone else’s perspective. Talking it out with a close associate or business coach can help you see beyond your “stuck” and your own blinders to your situation. It can help you determine what is the next step you need to take.Focus on another activity – As Stephen Hawking says, “keep thinking about the problem but work on something else”. A personal example: I sometimes get stuck generating content for a program, a podcast or a blog post. I refocus and work on something else then ideas start to crystallize and the creative juices start to flow.

Episode One is about the "shoulds". If you were to ask me what is the one big thing that I find gets in the way of women moving their business forward. Of growing and stepping into what they can really achieve. It's the "shoulds". You know them, I should be doing this or I should be doing that. Sound familiar?
It time to challenge each"should", to decide if a "should" is a "want" or if it is a "not for me". As well, decide if a "want" is now or if it is a "want" for your future.
Are you ready to stop "shoulding" yourself and start focusing on what you really "want"? Listen to the Ready for More! weekly tip. Highlights:
00:50 What are the Shoulds? 01:32 Two types of Shoulds 02:25 Challenge each Should 2:35 Your ShouldBuster 3:30 Is this a Want? 5:13 Is it Now? 6:41 The simplicity of the ShouldBuster 7:16 The Shoulds that come from within 8:25 Be empowered and challenge each should
