Oasis City Church is located in Westerville, OH - a suburb of Columbus. Teachings are from Pastor Bill Themelaras, Pastor Adam Stewart and other guests.
It’s time to embrace the mystery of God. We can reduce the mystery of the triune God to our place of understanding, and that decreases the majesty of a God who cannot be explained. We walk by faith and not by sight. Join Apostle Bill as he goes more in-depth on our series.
Would you like to grow in your relationship with God? One of the primary ways to do that is by learning more about Holy Spirit and encountering His presence. Join this special teaching as Apostle Bill invites his son, Cullen, to join him as they talk about Holy Spirit.

The Davidic Covenant was made between God and David, but it was an everlasting covenant. So what does it mean for us today ? It was not just a promise fulfilled by Jesus as the Son of David , but it also points us to the second coming of King Jesus.
Covenant. The unbreakable promise of God. Learn with us from Pastor Adam Stewart as he walks us through how God's promise remains, and is ours - from Noah to now.
A few days after Jesus was crucified, two disciples meandered down a winding road, walking home to their village. Their journey was interrupted by an encounter with a stranger that changed their lives and transformed the world, forever. Their story becomes our story, as the road to Emmaus proclaims, “This is the way!”
he resurrection of Jesus Christ changed history and the future of mankind forever. Because of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus we can walk in the absolute authority and freedom given to us as believers in Christ. God’s power raised Jesus from the dead, defeating Satan, and promising resurrection to all believers.

How are you showing love for others this Christmas season?
As the kingdom continues to expand, we can impact our world by living the gospel, connecting with others, sharing the gospel, and living on mission. Join Pastor Bill as he teaches the last message of our Unstoppable series.
The only thing that can stop the unstoppable church, is a complacent church. If you feel stuck, it’s time to get in motion. God will always leading us as long as we are willing to move. Main Point: When you don’t know what to do, do what you know to do.
moment = very brief period of time movement = group of people with a shared purpose who create change together
In Acts chapter 9, we see the conversion of Saul. His encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus was the moment his life was forever changed. The movement of Christianity started with moments, but require unity and obedience from all to change the world.

More than anything else, God wants everyone to know Him. Sometimes He does unusual things to reach people in unusual places.
The outpouring of the Holy Spirit began on Pentecost and continues today. In Acts 2, we see that after receiving power from the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the gospel is preached, over three thousand people are saved, the church is born, and God’s kingdom begins to impact Jerusalem. We learn the importance of apostolic teaching, fellowship, communion, and prayer and how they are key aspects of the church today.
Holy Spirit empowers God’s people to be witnesses of the good news of Jesus Christ, beginning in Jerusalem, then Judea, then Samaria, and finally to the ends of the earth.
Join Pastor Bill as we explore the relationship between members of the church and those outside of it. We are all created on purpose. As Christians we believe that all answers can be found in Jesus and we have a mission of connecting people back to Him. We live generously in our approach to one another, pursuing reconciliation in the midst of diversity, and embracing the common nature we all share.
Join special guest, Christopher Morgan from "Go For God Family Church" in Kingston, Jamaica.
God created good and evil in the Garden of Eden. But the enemy, that was there before the curse, was part of the blessing. We must learn to take dominion and subdue the enemies that God has allowed in our lives.

Wisdom is calling. Are you listening? In Proverbs 8 we see wisdom personified. It is available to the simplest, but it is also profound—if God Himself did nothing without Wisdom, who are we to attempt to guide our own lives without it? Just like the game show, Let’s Make a Deal, we are all presented various doors to choose in life. It’s a guessing game and the crowd is shouting different doors. They all can’t be right. But as a Christian, we don’t have to guess. We have Wisdom (Jesus) whispering in our ear…if we will listen.
Is wisdom worth pursuing? Let’s take a look at the benefits of wisdom and see if the payout is worth the investment.
The Book of Proverbs is more than just a bunch of wise sayings. The author beckons us to discover purpose-filled living by pursuing wisdom itself. Are you ready to live your best life? Let’s open up this incredible Book and pursue wisdom together.

Family is a word that has been redefined by the gospel. According to Jesus, we recognize any believer in Christ as our “brother” or “sister.” And as a family, we share in the truth that God cares about our name. Join Pastor Bill as he asks the question, “what’s your name?” - not just the name given from our parents, but we must know that God also has a name for us.
You don’t have to speak in tongues, but you get to! Many of us are missing a free upgraded language that increases our faith, is a sign to unbelievers, and allows us to pray perfect prayers. Learning to receive this gift might just be easier than you think.
God’s promises are voice-activated. As we learn how to make decrees that align with God’s will, we can experience the power of a preferred future. Most problems and solutions are in the unseen realm and our prayer life matters.
Discover your identity, define your life, and declare your future. God wants us to join Him: using the power of our words to live life "voice activated!"
We can be saved and going to heaven, but what does it mean to be fully alive? Let’s take a look at an area that many Christians overlook and see how we can be fully alive followers of Jesus.
The Apostle Peter was arrested and about to be executed the next day. 16 soldiers and 2 chains were controlling his isolation. While he was sleeping, the church prayed and a miracle happened. Are you ready to awaken to the OPEN door?!
Is it enough to be spiritually woke? Unfortunately, many Christians are stumbling around through life without direction or purpose. Let’s take a look at what we should be doing and how we can be fully alive in Christ.

“Do I want to be right, or do I want to be reconciled?” The Bible shows us that differences are good, and divisions are not. There’s power in a unified church that agrees on its mission. Join Pastor Bill as he teaches that reconciliation must be lived, and not just talked about.
In a divided society only the church can model unity. We are asking ourselves this question, "Do I want to be right or do I want to be reconciled?" Reconciliation is THE mission! God's desire is clear-we are to connect people back to God. In order to do that we must deal with prejudice and damaging stereotypes inside of our own hearts.
There are times in every relationship when we have to decide whether we desire to be Right or if we want to be Reconciled. Bishop Joseph Garlington points us to adjust our way of thinking into Kingdom thinking. Don't miss this timely message or Reconciliation.

Software updates have become a regular part of our lives. In the same way, if we don’t regularly update our relationship with God, we will not function and operate as He intended.
If there’s ever a moment where we need to know God and know that He’s our source, it’s right now. We must be people who continually abide in His presence.
We had to “peace out” 2020 so we can effectively “peace in” 2021. Through the power of God, we can do what the scripture declares: go out with joy and be led forth with peace. We can enter with renewed hope and supernatural strength. Let’s embrace all that God has for us this year!!

Join Pastor Lynne as she shares on on the 3 requirements of Kingdom thinking. Our thoughts have to be filtered through the fruit of the Spirit. We maintain inward conviction first, so that we can feel an outward compassion for others. And finally, we deal with our negative thought patterns that hold us in cycles.
Did you know that there are physical locations, obedient actions, and surprising moments where God is very near? We see these in Scripture but we can also experience them today. Let’s look at where and how we can find a space or a place where we can encounter God.
What do you see when you look into the mirror? What image is reflecting back to you? The truth is that God has made us image-bearers of Christ in the earth. God’s plan from the very beginning was to extend His reign in the world through mankind. Join Pastor Bill as he connects Adam and Eve’s mandate in the Garden of Eden to us representing Christ in our lives today.
Jesus wasn’t moved by crowds who were fans. He came to earth to find followers willing to become His friends that would change the world. Are you a fan, follower, or friend of Jesus?
When we become a Christian, we leave the old system and became a part of the Kingdom system- God’s way of doing things. We all must recognize if our minds are in agreement with His, especially concerning areas and issues we support. Join Pastor Bill as he teaches the difference between Kingdom / Culture / Preference according to the Scripture.
The entire world has been shaken by this global pandemic & the economic, social & political challenges that have ensued. How are we as Children of God living in the Kingdom supposed to respond? We must focus on one goal and not take any bait that may distract us from our purpose.
Jesus said, “The kingdom of God is within you.” This signals a restoration—a wonderful potential for each believer—reinstating something of the rulership originally intended for mankind. The entry point of which is grounded in the Cross. In one sense, the kingdom of God hasn’t been fully revealed yet. After this life is over, God will restore all that is broken. He will wipe away all of our tears. Yet, in other sense, we have much to do now!
What are the elements of a Kingdom? What did Jesus mean when He talked about the Kingdom of Heaven and the Kingdom of God? What do they have to do with my life here on the earth? Join Pastor Bill for Week 1 of our new series as he teaches about the King’s domain and our response to it.
Peace is something that is almost a universal desire, but God’s peace is different. As we wrap up the Beatitudes series, let’s take a look at how peace and persecution are two required elements of the kingdom.
What’s the condition of your heart? What if your heart condition determines your spiritual eyesight? A simple fact of life that we see only what we are able to see. One of the rewards in having a pure heart is that we progressively see more of God. It’s a promise from Jesus! Join Pastor Bill as we continue our series on the Beatitudes.
Doing what is right and finding justice are two of the most noble characteristics that our world needs today. But Jesus said that wasn’t enough! Let’s look at the fourth & fifth beatitudes where Jesus once again raises the bar.
What do you desire more than anything? Jesus taught his disciples, and is still teaching us today, that in order to win we must be willing to play by His rules.
Jesus cares about our pain and our suffering. He understands it personally. He bears wounds. As we recognize our sin, this allows us to experience Godly sorrow which leads us to repentance. This is a beautiful thing in God’s sight. Jesus promises that as we mourn, we will experience comfort which is an eternal blessing.
Jesus tells us who gets to receive the Kingdom of Heaven, and it seems contrast to who we’d normally consider. He said the poor in spirit get this privilege. It’s only those completely dependent on God and not relying on their money, status, or accomplishments. Join Pastor Bill on the first installment of a powerful series on The Beatitudes.
As kingdom citizens, Jesus has given us the power to be game changers- people who significantly impact a situation, circumstance, or outcome. This message takes a look at: * Reasons why conversations are not effective * How respect, empathy, and maturity are key ingredients to having winning conversations * Action steps through Jesus’ example to us for having winning conversations across race, gender, and class barriers
Jesus builds His church through the Holy Spirit. We are co-heirs with Christ and protected by His power. However, we also go through trails and the testing of our faith which is to bring glory to God and prove our character. Jesus wants to use His church to reveal the wisdom of God. This “ekklesia” is about being part of an assembly and disciplining a region, and it doesn’t happen without members of the Body of Christ coming together.
Everyone has felt like they have been thrown a [curveball] at some point in the last few months of 2020. The only way that we can effectively lead other people through difficult times is if we ourselves are led by THE Holy Spirit.
Do you want to live free from the bondage and destruction of sin? Do you want to see justice prevail? God has an answer. Join Pastor Bill as he teaches about the Holy Spirit, the promised gift to all believers. It’s God’s desire that we walk in healing and restoration. It’s also His desire that we live in active partnership with His Spirit each and every day.
To speak or not to speak- that is the question many are asking today. Let’s look at how we can use this God given, man affirmed gift of Free Speech to bring about the change that is most needed in the church and in our world.
Join Pastor Bill and special guest appearance by Papa Joe Ewen for an exciting message from Acts 4, that shows a powerful description of the New Testament church- one that preaches boldly and has miraculous results. There’s power in the name of Jesus to heal and set free. And Jesus builds His church through the Holy Spirit. We all must be filled with the Holy Spirit to walk in the full purpose God has for us.
The Holy Spirit is a person, just as real as God the Father and Jesus Christ the Son. He is a promised gift to all believers and leads us into all truth. As a church we are pursuing revival and revival only happens in partnership with the Holy Spirit. He’s talking all the time, the question is, are you listening?
How do we respond to current events? It’s critical as a church that we are raising our voice in the right way. Let’s take a look at how we can use our sound to make a difference.
The coming of the Holy Spirit created a RESET in the earth. Pentecost is the birthday of the Church—the welding together of Spirit-filled disciples to become the living body of Christ. Jesus breathed on the disciples and filled them with the Holy Spirit. Everyone has the right to breathe. Pastor Bill addresses how the current events of Covid-19, racism, violence, and abortion are all after our “breath” and how this attack comes from darkness. The Church must rise in this hour with a message of hope and a RESET of the BREATH of God.
Live out Loud- it’s a catchy phrase and often trending hashtag, but what if God actually wanted us to live our lives in such a way that people noticed us? Each week we’re looking at areas in our lives that we need to RESET, and this week Pastor Adam is challenging us to BE light.
We all need peace to make it through the craziness of life. Storms and battles, worries and fears seem to always be available to intimidate us. God has an answer. Jesus gave us the gift of peace and He said that it’s a gift that the world cannot give. It’s actually a special weapon we possess as well. Join Pastor Bill as he teaches how we can walk in peace each and every day. It’s time for a RESET of PEACE.
We all have the opportunity to RESET our ROUTINE in life. As a matter of fact, there’s no better time than today. Distractions come from many directions and while some of them are legitimate, how we respond to them can make all the difference. We live in constant tension between the urgent and the important. Join Pastor Bill as he teaches how Jesus faced similar circumstances and how we can learn from Him to make the right choices.
Jesus said that Holy Spirit would come and fill us with power. When we get disconnected from Holy Spirit, we become separated from our source of life. If you’re feeling empty or tired or worn out, it’s probably time to reset the breaker.
What should our response be when justice isn’t served? These moments often define who we are and what we believe. A man in the Bible, ironically named Justus, recognized that his moment of disappointment was a divine appointment to reset.
Have you ever wanted a do-over in life? Ever wish you had a reset button? The resurrection of Jesus Christ RESET humanity and our faith in God. What we see naturally can hinder our ability to see spiritually. Jesus always confronted unbelief from His followers. As Christians we cannot allow unbelief in our hearts because it will hinder us from seeing what God is doing.
All over the world we are waiting for this COVID-19 crisis to end. But are we missing an opportunity that God has for us as Believers? Join Pastor Adam as he asks a few tough questions from an often overlooked Prophet in the Bible.
As Christians we are carriers of the Good News of Jesus. We carry hope, peace and faith. While everyone is concerned of those contagious with a virus, we can spread the hope found in Jesus. Be encouraged that we are not like the world and we carry the answers that many are looking for. Fear is contagious but so is faith!
The Bible repeatedly reminds us that God is our source, our protection and that we shouldn’t be afraid of what life may bring. Psalm 91 dives deep into that truth. Join Pastor Bill as he unpacks the revelation of the scripture and teaches just how safe and secure we are in the Father.
As Central Ohio and the rest of the world faces uncertainty, it’s critically important that the church looks like Jesus. What we say and do has the power to change the world. Let’s look Scripture and see how we can be the church that God meant for us to be!
It’s important to ask ourselves the question, “Is Jesus really #1 in my life?” The Bible reminds us to choose today who we will serve, because life is constantly tossing others options our way. We cannot serve God and money or God and anything else. It’s important to know what serving God is actually like because religion teaches a policy without a person. It’s all about Jesus!
Speak Life!
God wants to use our words to speak life, encouragement and hope to each other. But our words are fueled by the thoughts in our heads and beliefs in our hearts. In order to speak life, we must first be willing to evaluate what we are thinking about and what we truly believe. Proverbs says out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks… it’s important to assess what’s going on in our hearts so we can Speak Life to each other!
CS Lewis said, “The body ought to pray as well as the soul. Body and soul are both better for it.” There are many ways in which we can use our bodies to glorify God. One way is through our posture of praise. This week Pastor Bill teaches about the seven words in the Hebrew language describing types of praise.
Throughout history, humankind has found that indulging in substances, high-adrenaline experiences, and entertainment have a huge impact on how they feel physically. Some Believers have minimized the body to something useless and carnal, but there are many ways in which we can use our bodies to glorify God. One way is through our posture in worship. If God created our bodies, then it only makes sense that we use our bodies as we worship Him. This week Pastor Bill teaches on these postures with an emphasis on dancing.

Have you ever been in a tough spot? Been faced with a deadline and not sure what to do? Have you ever acted impatiently by not properly waiting to hear God, only to find out you made a horrible mistake? Arrogance always destroys opportunity. Pride is the source of hasty and critical judgements. But God has another way: Humility. Humility is NOT weak. Join Pastor Bill as he shows teaches us how to remain humble our hearts and minds as we place reliance on Christ.
It’s easy to come to God for the wrong reasons, but ultimately we must realize that He desires is to grow! God develops us in the G League and Pastor Adam helps us remember why it’s so important to not make the most of this season.
Jesus taught in Matthew 6 When you give... When you pray... When you fast... Fasting is a normal discipline in the Christian life. It’s a habit of grace and a gift for us to have a greater awareness of God. The New Testament church saw amazing results when combining worship, prayer and fasting!
What is the greatest gift you can give this Christmas? Pastor Adam challenges us in this message to be present in every moment this season.
Our work, whether we’re passionate about it or not, is an act of worship. When our minds are renewed to this truth, we will begin to see revival outside the walls of the church.
Shouting is forceful. It has many different uses, and is especially powerful when used by God. Something mighty is released when we lift up a shout of praise regardless of the battle we are facing. What if obtaining your promise also requires a shout? Join Pastor Bill as he teaches another aspect of “A Blueprint of Worship.”
One person’s praise is contagious and the power of a unified praise to God sets other people free! Listen (Watch) to discover how praise and thanksgiving are keys to living a life centered around Jesus.
Praise is not just emotion, it is emotion! It is your God given, Holy Spirit filtered, uniquely emotional expression to God! Pastor Adam teaches us how we can begin to live a life of praise as God designed.
The Lord desires to be worshiped on earth as He is in heaven. The worship order is continual, musical, relational, and God-centered. King David had a revelation and principles related to worship that would also be established again in the New Testament church. Join Pastor Bill as he continues to teach on this blueprint of worship.

Before we can truly love others, we must love ourselves and that means allowing Holy Spirit to transform our spirit, soul and body. He reveals to us the issues and hurts that need healing and how to become whole. We then can encourage others to do the same. We also believe all can be healed because Jesus demonstrated the Father’s will in healing all the sick and demonized He encountered.
A disciple is someone who is surrendered to Jesus, who is being changed by following Jesus, and who is on a mission to help others do the same. Every disciple of Christ can be a person of influence who develops true character, anointing, and authority. As a local church, when we grow larger we also grow smaller. We value the large gathering for a worship service and also the regular involvement in small groups. We embrace the fivefold ministry gifts that Christ gave to the church for the work of ministry and building the Body of Christ.
One of the things close to God’s heart is reconciliation. Our Father wants us to be reconciled to Him first, and then reconciled to mankind. True unity requires equality in the diversity of race, gender, age, culture, socioeconomic status, and to those who simply have a different personality from us. Generations belong together in worship and in family. In a divided society, the church must model unity.
Experiencing and knowing God as our true Father just like Jesus did will change our lives. The message, ministry, and sacrifice of Jesus perfectly reveal this truth. Every person needs to feel, know, and experience the unconditional, extravagant love of Father God. He is a good Father and we can trust Him regardless of our circumstances.
Family is the foundation of humanity because God created it that way! It’s the way He relates to us, we relate to Him, and how we relate to one another. We weren’t meant to do life alone. We are adopted into God’s family, so we intentionally create family and community wherever we go. We are loyal, which is demonstrated most when people fail and we commit to helping them be restored. Family is joyous, messy, difficult but it’s always together.
God is extravagantly generous and our generosity is a response and reflection of our good Father who gives gifts to His children. We have been blessed in every way so we can be generous through giving and serving. We joyfully give our time, affection, talents, and finances and as we do, the scripture teaches that these blessings also return to us. We serve God, serve our local church and serve our community. We are created in Jesus Christ for good works.
In everything we do and everywhere we go, we want to create an atmosphere where God’s tangible Presence dwells. His presence is where God stuff happens - miracles, signs, and wonders. Are you hosting the Presence of God?
Join us as we celebrate our 7th Birthday. It’s also the day that Pastor Bill presents our Mission and Vision statements that will launch us into the phase of Oasis City Church. We are making a difference and moving towards our vision.
In this message, Pastor Bill teaches that there is a commanded blessing when we have unity. Unity in the church is fragrance, sacred and powerful! We aren’t designed to do life alone.
What if the place you are in right now is actually the place that propels you to destiny? In part 1 we learned that there is an Appointed Time of Favor and in part 2 Pastor Bill teaches that there is also an appointed Place of Favor.
The scripture tells us that God’s favor lasts a lifetime. There are also appointed times He has already ordained to show out in your life. This is your appointed time! Join Pastor Bill has he teaches the first message in the Favor and Union series.
