For any organization to be successful, it must have a culture of champions. A culture of champions is one in which cooperation, teamwork, and excellence are rewarded publicly and undesirable performance issues are addressed privately. Leaders play a crucial role in creating and maintaining this type of environment.

To develop a Culture of Champions, an organization must focus on several key factors, including technology, organizational structure, ethical norms, beliefs and attitudes, and the behavior of its people. By utilizing all of these elements, an organization can create a culture that promotes success and champions behavior. I call the principle A+A=A (Attitude + Aptitude = Altitude). Creating this type of culture requires hiring people with the right attitude and aptitude, which will in turn determine the company's altitude. The Culture of Champions is a proven concept that can be used by any organization to achieve success.

Creating a Culture of Champions requires leaders to implement and maintain success factors. This can be done by ensuring that technology is up-to-date and meets the needs of the organization, developing an organizational structure that promotes cooperation and teamwork, publicly recognizing excellence, and privately addressing undesirable performance issues. These elements are essential to developing a Culture of Champions within an organization.

Organizations that have a Culture of Champions are typically more successful than those that do not. This is because a Culture of Champions creates an environment that is conducive to success. By focusing on the key elements that make up a Culture of Champions, champions can create a culture that will promote success.
