Meet Your Neighbor is a UMD based radio show, originally broadcasted on WMUC, that focuses on the personal lives of UMD students. Each week, I coerce a stranger to let me ask them about their life, opinions, upbringing, ideals, and future. I often learn a lot. Come meet your neighbors.
Audrey Bartholomew is a sophomore English major at the University of Maryland. She loves reading, poetry, Facebook Marketplace, and DC. On this episode, we talk about Audrey's highs and lows, what inspires her, how she handles being alone, and what her experiences have taught her. Meet Your Neighbor was originally broadcasted on WMUC College Park 88.1FM, the university freeform radio station at the University of Maryland. Meet Your Neighbor is a talk show where I, Madeline, coerce a stranger to meet me in front of south campus dining hall on a Thursday night. The host, Madeline Redding, is a junior theatre and international relations double major at the University of Maryland. She is the current General Manager at WMUC and this is her fifth semester as an on-air DJ. She plans to pursue a career in arts management (or whatever else finds her), and personal interviews such as this show have always been of interest to her.
