Gigs in Johannesburg are not hot without Ladysakhe who is giving other lady DJ’s a run for their money in the deejaying sphere. Ladysakhe is the epitome of a rocking girl, very professional and always on point. She rocks the gigs in and around Johannesburg like no one's business, boasting a large number of enthusiastic fans who can’t get over her style of deejaying and mostly her sound.
Ladysakhe specializes in Deep House Sounds; she is not called the lady of sounds for nothing when she gets regulars into a frenzy at parties, at clubs, at up market taverns and all over Gauteng every time she is behind the decks.
This lady deejay is the talk of the town in Gauteng. Every time she gets behind the decks no matter what time of the day the mood changes and you find party goers getting down.
Ladysakhe’s name has appeared on various community and national media, namely; Metro FM, Sowetan Sunday World and Alex News to mention but a few. METRO FM listeners got exposed to Ladysakhe’s fine deep house sounds when she was invited as a guest on The Urban Beat (Fri & Sat 10pm-1am) show hosted by ZEAL, Christos and Vinny Da Vinci. METRO FM telephone lines were abuzz with followers wanting to speak to Ladysakhe.
This sista is a proud self-taught DJ that learned more about deejaying through spending time in Rosebank at a place called spinout which is in Johannesburg. Most of the aspiring DJs including Ladysakhe spent a lot of time at spinout for practicing and sharpening their skills.
Ladysakhe has been spinning the decks for 9 years. She is born and bred in Johannesburg. Ladysakhe grew up in Soweto and says she found love for deejaying in 2004 during her school years and she knew she had to first break some ground by entering an industry dominated by men she did and never looked back ever since.
Her speciality in the Deep House Sounds has created opportunities for her to play at all types of gigs and at places such as: Taboo in Sandton, MiBar in Rosebank, The Bank (defunct) where she also appeared as one of the featured lady dj’s at ladies only Pink Thursdays , Zygos in Mabopane Pretoria, Tshwane University of Technology, Capital in Rosebank, Club Bar 9 in Midrand, Club Shoosh in Midrand, Zambezi Lounge, which was later called Kalawa Jazzmee Lounge (defunct), she’s also played on different radio stations such as Yfm and Jozi fm and on Channel O, on Live an SABC1 show happening every Friday and on Ses’khona a reality show on SABC1 showing every Thursday.
Ladysakhe spent a year as a resident and only lady DJ playing every Sunday’s at the famous Joe’s Life Style Butchery in Alexandra Township where big name DJ’s are featured to play there every Sunday and Ladysakhe played alongside them. The deep house sound sista also featured as a guest deejay at the Innesfree Park one of the 2010 FIFA World Cup Fan Fest Park.
Ladysakhe has also played outside of Johannesburg, in Bloemfontein and in Polokwane, where she was invited to play at the ANC Youth League’s party in December 2009.
Ladysakhe says, “This has been a journey and ever since I started deejaying. My style of music and play has exposed me to an overwhelming experience as I can proudly and safely say I have played alongside International and South Africa’s biggest names in the deejaying sphere. Amongst other names to mention but the few: DJ Fresh, Black Coffee, DJ Vinny Da Vinci, Christos, Glen Lewis, Dj Ganyani, Oskido, Martin East, Rocco, Ralf Galm and Manoo.
This sista knows all about doing it for herself and is at the moment chasing her dream of becoming one of the biggest DJ’s in South Africa. Having had humble beginnings herself Ladysakhe truly value the importance of developing other female DJs. She says she is at the moment toying with an idea that has been in her mind since what she thinks was a breakthrough in the entertainment industry, which is that of starting a deejaying school. She says this will not be just a dream but a dream come true as this will become a lifestyle and an experience to share culture, feelings, emotion etc.
Ladysakhe believes strongly in innovation within entertainment, and believes that the time has come that the industry must grow the lady deejay talent, embrace it and work with us as we strive to be the best in the industry that needs lady deejays.

Nyiko Moroti a.k.a Dr Nemo was born in a township called Nkowankowa, just outside Tzaneen in Limpopo. His Deejaying Career started in 2006 after discovering his love for house music. In 2008 he voluntary quit deejaying due to school commitments.In 2012 i found love for producing music through Sonz Of Afrika. His currently working with Sonz Of Afrika, Luudrumma and Black Rhythm.
