Fontibell Radio: Recent Episodes

Jillian Kavinsky

Fontibell Radio is an online streaming radio show through Bearcast Media, Monday nights 10 to midnight. Hosted by Jillian Kavinsky and Hailey Robinson.

First thing’s first, we’re the realest.

You know how awesome it is when you open a new box of Lucky Charms, and because most of it has settled, you get a bowl of basically all marshmallows? Well, Fontibell radio is kind of like that.

Or, in the 2000’s, did you ever fall asleep with your Walkman still in your ears and wake up with that terrible ringing? Like that, but a little more structured.

Actually, when Courtney Love said that she could “turn on the radio right now and be inspired,” she was talking about Fontibell Radio.

Tune in on Monday nights with Jillian and Hailey for an eclectic mix of everything from garage to rockabilly, ‘90s alternative to Irish new wave, and from Wu-Tang to Scandinavian girl bands, specially themed each week. Hear what Patti Smith, the Boomtown Rats, Frank Zappa, and a clip from a TED talk have in common.

Hailey makes lists about everything, and Jillian is the only woman in America who subscribes to Entrepreneur magazine.

Alan Freed, John Peel and Dewey Phillips altogether couldn’t touch this.

We’re on the radio essentially because television is really terrifying.
