Onlycorrect knowledge of CHRIST’S Truth in our New Covenant in CHRIST can break limitations so that we can begin to operate in the higher dimensions of our destinies.

It is our lack of revelation and knowedge that causes us to minimize the work of CHRIST’S Grace working in our gifts, talents, abilities, and in our lives; thus, causing us to experience the lesser dimensions of His abundance and manifestation of our hopes and dreams. It is the absence of correct knowledge of truth that causes us to live so far beneath GOD’S divine will, purpose and plan. In our ignorance, we cap our own blessings and hinder the manifestation of GOD’S great plan for each us, causing us to sink deeper and deeper into hopelessness.

Because 2017 is the Year of Victory and Manifestation. It is also a year of breaking limitations! Let’s continue to advance in this abundant year, full of faith in our GOD and expecting extraordinary manifestation as we learn to maximize our gifts and abilities all for the Glory of GOD and the advancement of His Kingdom. Remember, you were born to make a difference!

Because of His Grace and Victory and Manifestation 2017!

"Is corporate prayer important? Is corporate prayer more powerful than an individual praying alone?"

Answer: Corporate prayer is an important part of the life of the church, along with worship, sound doctrine, communion, and fellowship. The early church met regularly to learn the doctrine of the apostles, break bread, and pray together (Acts 2:42). When we pray together with other believers, the effects can be very positive. Corporate prayer edifies and unifies us as we share our common faith. The same Holy Spirit who dwells within each believer causes our hearts to rejoice as we hear praises to our Lord and Savior, knitting us together in a unique bond of fellowship found nowhere else in life.

To those who may be alone and struggling with life’s burdens, hearing others lift them up to the throne of grace can be a great encouragement. It also builds in us love and concern for others as we intercede for them. At the same time, corporate prayer will only be a reflection of the hearts of the individuals who participate.

We should read and study the Bible because it is God's Word to us. The Bible is literally "God-breathed" (2 Timothy 3:16). In other words, it is God's very words to us. There are so many questions that philosophers have asked that God answers for us in Scripture. What is the purpose to life? Where did I come from? Is there life after death? How do I get to heaven? Why is the world full of evil? Why do I struggle to do good? In addition to these "big" questions, the Bible gives much practical advice in areas such as: What do I look for in a mate? How can I have a successful marriage? How can I be a good friend? How can I be a good parent? What is success and how do I achieve it? How can I change? What really matters in life? How can I live so that I do not look back with regret? How can I handle the unfair circumstances and bad events of life victoriously?

We should read and study the Bible because it is totally reliable and without error. The Bible is unique among so-called "holy" books in that it does not merely give moral teaching and say, "Trust me." Instead, we can read it for ourselves.

Question: "What is Christian revival?"

Answer: Revival refers to a spiritual reawakening from a state of dormancy or stagnation in the life of a believer. It encompasses the resurfacing of a love for God, an appreciation of God's holiness, a passion for His Word and His church, a convicting awareness of personal and corporate sin, a spirit of humility, and a desire for repentance and growth in righteousness. Revival invigorates and sometimes deepens a believer's faith, opening his or her eyes to the truth in a fresh, new way. It generally involves the connotation of a fresh start with a clean slate, marking a new beginning of a life lived in obedience to God. Revival breaks the charm and power of the world, which blinds the eyes of men, and generates both the will and power to live in the world but not of the world.

In the USA, the first revival, also called the First Great Awakening, produced an upsurge of devotion among Protestants in the 1730s and 1740s, carving a permanent mark on American religion. It resulted from authoritative preaching that deeply moved the church members with a convicting awareness of personal guilt and the awesome nature of salvation through Christ. Breaking away from dry ritual and rote ceremony, the Great Awakening made Christianity intensely personal to the average person, as it should be, by creating a deep emotional need for relationship with Christ.

"What is Christian revival?"

Banning employees from wearing their hair in dreadlocks isn’t racial discrimination, a federal appeals court ruled.

The 3-0 decision Thursday by the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals dismissed a lawsuit brought by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission against a company that refused to hire a black woman because she wouldn’t cut her dreadlocks.

Delving into weighty questions about the concept of race, the case began in 2013 when the EEOC accused an insurance claims processing company in Mobile, Ala., of discriminating against an applicant named Chastity Jones.

Ms. Jones applied to work for Catastrophe Management Solutions as a customer service representative in 2010. Initially, she was hired. But the job came with a request: The company’s human resources manager told her she needed to cut her dreadlocks to comply with its grooming policy.

He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young. Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?

Lord of our God shallstand for ever. O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God! Behold, the Lord God will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him. Who hath directed the Spirit of the Lord, or being his counsellor hath taught him

Question: "What is prayer?"

Answer: The most basic definition of prayer is “talking to God.” Prayer is not meditation or passive reflection; it is direct address to God. It is the communication of the human soul with the Lord who created the soul. Prayer is the primary way for the believer in Jesus Christ to communicate his emotions and desires with God and to fellowship with God.

Prayer can be audible or silent, private or public, formal or informal. All prayer must be offered in faith (James 1:6), in the name of the Lord Jesus (John 16:23), and in the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:26). gotquestions.or

Dr. Oscar Dowdell-Underwood was the first African American Indiana Teacher of the Year, Inherent Power Leadership Developer, Educator, Author, Motivational Speaker, and Pastor. He is passionately committed to unlocking personal inherent power in the lives of every individual.

Dr. Oscar Dowdell-Underwood is a pastor, educator, activist, author, motivational speaker and public intellectual. In 1982, he left a career in suburban education to accept a principalship at a failing, low-income, inner-city elementary school. There, he dared to lead a team of dedicated teachers who together proved that achievement is not a matter of race or economics, but passion and determination. Within one year of implementing what is known as the “Underwood Model,” students' achievement scores, engagement and perceptions of mattering skyrocketed and student violence and apathy plummeted. These students, who were among some of the lowest achievers in the nation, were now performing at unprecedented levels. After 41 years later, his life’s work is still centered on educating students and e radicating educational inequalities and disenfranchisement. He is the founder and President of Cornerstone Christian College Preparatory School International and Cornerstone Christian Bible College International.

Who hath directed the Spirit of the Lord, or being his counsellor hath taught him

Question: "What is Christian revival?" Answer: Revival refers to a spiritual reawakening from a state of dormancy or stagnation in the life of a believer.

Exodus Deliverance Ministries, Inc. is a non-profit organization that has sponsored many community events and given out scholarships to High School students going to college.  We have been able to tohost many "Ministry Leaders" in the communities to bless the Body of Christ, such as Pastor Hezekiah Walker, Minister Tye Tribbett, Evangelist Karen Clark-Sheard, Evangelist Dorinda Clark-Cole and Evangelist Vicki Winans to name a few.  Some of the events that we have sponsored are:   Talent Shows, Fashion Shows, Womens’ Conferences, Gospel Concerts, Crusades, Seminars, Church Meetings and Youth Conferences.

For many years it has been my vision to "Honor and Celebrate" Leaders publicly for their achievements and accomplishments who make a difference in the Tri- State area.  Many Leaders have been overlooked for their sacrifices, endeavors and have been taken for granted.  We are going to recognize and encourage "Anointed Pastors" for their great Kingdom work in the community and abroad.  Also, we are going to acknowledge "Community Leaders" for their great work being done.  We want to remind them that their work is not in vain!

Dr. Steve Perry’s heart pumps passion and produces positive change. Featured in CNN's Black in America series, Dr. Perry is the most talked about innovative educator on the scene today.  Perry is the founder and principal of what U.S. News and World Report has cited as one of the top schools in the country, Capital Preparatory Magnet School in Hartford, Connecticut. Capital Prep has sent 100% of its predominantly low-income, minority, first generation high school graduates to four-year colleges every year since its first class graduated in 2006.

Dr. Nekeshia Hammond

The Practical Guide to Raising Emotionally Healthy Children is for every parent that is looking for ways to help their children grow into adults that are healthy not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. The sad reality is that the focus in school for too many children is on their academics and their behavior. What many educators neglect is the effect of the emotions of a child on their ability to be high functioning individuals in other aspects of their lives. In this book parents will learn:

  • How to communicate with your children

  • Why and how you should talk to them, even when the subjects are taboo things like drugs, alcohol, and sex

  • The best ways to listen to your children

  • How to be a good role model for them  ...and more

Despite its heavy and large body, the bumbl...ebee is able to fly - defying the law of aerodynamics. The bumblebee flies because its inherent power is greater than its challenges, aerodynamics included. Like the bumblebee, all young men of color - and all individuals - have the inherent power to overcome challenges and do the seemingly impossible.

In Bumblebees Can Fly: Empowering Young Men of Color, Dr. Dowdell-Underwood uses natural and social science research to explain the relationship between marginalization, perceptions of mattering, and achievement among young men of color. He then proffers person-centric strategies of engaging personal Inherent Power for the poor, and young men of color in order to overcome the effects of marginalization and maximize their human potential; thereby, preventing the societal loss that results when brilliant young men of color fail to constructively employ their inherent power, that is, their skill, ability, talent, will, and intellect to fulfill their burden of hope. Strategies for parents, educators, government, policymakers, community leaders, and nprofit organizations are also discussed. In 1998, Dr. Dowdell-Underwood testified before the United States Congressional Committee on Small Businesses regarding his education strategies for maximizing achievement among all youth, including the poor and young men and women of color. Dr. Dowdell-Underwood challenges all vestiges of society and particularly education to maximize t only scholastic achievement of young men of color, but also personal empowerment by engaging their inherent power and their need and desire to achieve in education and to succeed in life.

Behold, the Lord God will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him. Question: "Who is the Holy Spirit?"

Answer: There are many misconceptions about the identity of the Holy Spirit. Some view the Holy Spirit as a mystical force. Others understand the Holy Spirit as the impersonal power that God makes available to followers of Christ. What does the Bible say about the identity of the Holy Spirit? Simply put, the Bible declares that the Holy Spirit is God. The Bible also tells us that the Holy Spirit is a divine person, a being with a mind, emotions, and a will.

The fact that the Holy Spirit is God is clearly seen in many Scriptures, including Acts 5:3-4. In this verse Peter confronts Ananias as to why he lied to the Holy Spirit and tells him that he had “not lied to men but to God.” It is a clear declaration that lying to the Holy Spirit is lying to God. We can also know that the Holy Spirit is God because He possesses the characteristics of God. For example, His omnipresence is seen in Psalm 139:7-8, “Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.”

Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?

Depression (major depressive disorder or clinical depression) is a common but serious mood disorder. It causes severe symptoms that affect how you feel, think, and handle daily activities, such as sleeping, eating, or working. To be diagnosed with depression, the symptoms must be present for at least two weeks.

Some forms of depression are slightly different, or they may develop under unique circumstances, such as:

Persistent depressive disorder (also called dysthymia) is a depressed mood that lasts for at least two years. A person diagnosed with persistent depressive disorder may have episodes of major depression along with periods of less severe symptoms, but symptoms must last for two years to be considered persistent depressive disorder.

Perinatal depression is much more serious than the “baby blues” (relatively mild depressive and anxiety symptoms that typically clear within two weeks after delivery) that many women experience after giving birth. Women with perinatal depression experience full-blown major depression during pregnancy or after delivery (postpartum depression). The feelings of extreme sadness, anxiety, and exhaustion that accompany perinatal depression may make it difficult for these new mothers to complete daily care activities for themselves and/or for their babies.

Revival breaks the charm and power of the world, which blinds the eyes of men, and generates both the will and power to live in the world but not of the world.   gotquestions.org

“ When the children of majority-black Flint, Michigan, have been drinking and bathing in lead poisoned water for more than a year, making sure all Americans have clean air and water isn’t just a health issue. It’s a civil rights issue. We would be outraged if this happened to white kids, and we should be outraged that it’s happening right now to black kids.”

“ I am here because for almost two years, Flint’s water was poisoned. I’m here because, for nearly two years, mothers and fathers were voicing concerns about the water’s color, the smell, the rashes it gave to those bathing in it. For nearly two years, you were told—Flint was told—the water was safe.”

We should read and study the Bible because it is totally reliable and without error. The Bible is unique among so-called "holy" books in that it does not merely give moral teaching and say, "Trust me." Instead, we can read it for ourselves.
