Very few things in life turn out the way they were first perceived. The laws of attraction are no different.

So in the end, being sustainably attractive has a lot to do with who you are as human. Are you dependable, supportive, a pleasure to be around? All kidding aside, we hope that all litigation regarding the dissolution of your marriage will be cordial and fair...but we also want you to know, thats typically not the game plan formulated against you by your soon to be ex's attorney.

They're in it to "win it" if there is such a thing in divorce. The best way to be the winner in court is to paint your opponent as the looser. At least thats what the world thinks.

It's going to feel like a personal attack at the worst time in your life. Because it is. It's not going to be easy but, its right here where you need to be resilient. This might get ugly..but your not about to go there.

Nope, the new you knows you have a future and that future is too valuable to allow yourself to be manipulated by a professional arguer. Dont take the bait.

Anger is a natural response to injustice. However, it often results in uncontrollable responses that evolve into regret. But it doesn't have to be that way.

Is it possible that anger can be used for construction instead of destruction? Of course it is.

Remember it's not the fuel that is the problem, it's how we choose to burn it. Anger can be motivational propellent or catastrophic combustion.

Its up to us!

Carter, a young man who explained to us how his Grandfathers stories intrigued him into becoming a military historian.

Ms. Pauletta Washington from Polly Ann Cakes, who's personal poundcake, and signature ouey gooey Cakes will make your heart skip a beat and your head spin.

To our Friend Rianna whose grandparents love of vintage cars has fueled her desire to consume podcasts that go in to great detail bout the restoration process.

We loved connecting with people at the market and we loved the way these much deserved good people got a chance to step up to the mic and made the most of it!

The verdict is in, people are awesome. To prove this Fernando, Jay and Missy set up tent at Hobart's Amazing Thursday Night Summer Market to share the news that an incredible new business has arrived in Hobart (CreataSpacePlace and the MentalEdge Studio) and to randomly interview anybody who was game.

The Night was full of great conversation and a little surprise for old Jay. Somehow I "accidentally " witnessed my youngest son land his first Kiss. Or at least I saw it get landed on him. Thats his story anyway.

Fernando And Jay get to talking about how you can sometimes get caught up in believing that you whole life aught to look like a non-stop highlight reel of incredible events. It's a silly un-realistic fantasy that can make you feel like you're not succeeding.

The truth is, Whether it be Netflix and Chill leisure or mountain top victory, those moments are only a tiny percentage of your life.

You have to do battle with your mind and your social media feed to in order to not be fooled by the silly notion that your life should be filled with non stop leisure and constant success...nope, passive my assive. To legitimately even have a few, your gonna hafta get it!

In fact, the rarity of those moments is what make them speicial. So don't sip that poisonous cool aid..not only are you making it, your killing it. And those moments are going to come but make no mistake....for the real hardworking, progress sustaining, men and women...your going to have to earn'em!

Have you ever been asked to speak in front of a crowd? The mere mention of public speaking can tie your stomach up in knots. Sometimes it's not that pivotal though. So it's not a big deal when you say "no, no, that's ok..pick somebody else".

But there are Occasions in a mans life where it is his duty to "take the mic". Its not about notoriety, its about there being no other human on the planet but you who is supposed to honor this person.

In this Moment, as much as there might be doubt and fear in your gut you will notice that those emotions will be competing with an overpowering sense of duty as well. It's in these special times that we must make sure we heed the calling.

Why? because you were made for such a time as this and the person you love deserves to know, feel and experience the depth of your love. Only you can deliver it. So get to deliver'n

Dana's story is extraordinary, He is a highly accomplished and Intelligent man who has decided to live a life of discipleship.

His ministry is far from conventional. Dana's calling is to help people discover a deeper relationship with Christ and he does this by waiting for an invitation and then embedding himself with the person in need who desires that deeper relationship.

Why embed, because as Dana says "to see the root of the problem you need more than an hourlong superficial connection". You need a companion in Christ who is accessible. So move on over, here comes Dana.

To accomplish this Dana knew he needed to be free. So he began to shed all of his worldly possessions which often saddle us with debt. He knew that his new superpower would be his availability and it could be purchase by shedding financial burdens.

He and his wife have done incredible things for the Kingdom but despite engaging in personal asset sacrifice and letting go of material things Dana felt like something still had a hold on him.

We're not gonna steal that thunder though, we'er gonna let Dana drop those truth bombs.

You might think that this isn't the espisode for you! That would be a mistake. The MentalEdge firmly believes that all around us lessons are passively being taught. All you have to do is pay attention.

In this episode you will hear a young man speak who is wise and respectful beyond his years. A young man who has found his path, a young man who doesn't make excuses. what could possibly be more powerful than that?

Its refreshing on so many levels to hear somebody say. "I didn't get what I wanted because I was out worked".

If we've said it once, we've said it 1000 times. As you step forward faithfully often times the road will not resemble the way you imagined it. But if you have listened to the still small voice and continued to move forward and trust, then one thing is for sure...you won't be able to add the progress up on paper and make it make sense.

Because God math isn't conventional, its EXTRAordinary. It doesn't make sense on paper, just like the fishes and the loaves. You might be compelled to dismiss the divine suggesetions as nonsense but instead lean in and take a small step toward the promise and watch the doubt and fear tremble at your obedience.

Pray to know your purpose. Be intentional, yet patient. All of these things are declarations of your faith and they will be honored with relevant timely rewards you can't possibly imagine.

Fernando and I have learned many valuable lessons in 4 seasons. Many of those lessons have served us well in the future in ways we didn't expect!

One of the most valuable lesson we've learned is that Compensation for service isn't always the type you swipe. You don't alway get that gas money. But we seem to have this intuitive, life learned, boomerang blessing, confidence that helps us discern when it makes sense to be part of the solution and not worry about that milk money.

Each and every time we have dedicated our time and didn't worry about the green the Lord has always made it count for us in ways we couldn't have dreamed of.

We can't always say yes and neither can you...The trick is, to learn when its the right thing to do and then....Serve with a Smile

We often look at Celebrities and think that they have most of the things we want. Fame, fortune and favor to name a few.

We press our faces against the glass and stare with envy or admiration yet we often forget that they are mere humans just like us..they literally put their pants on just like you to use an old analogy...the only difference...theirs are Jordache and ours are often wranglers. yes Jordache jeans were the bomb, just ask your mom!

When their life unravels just like ours we seem shocked. The more I see it the less I am surprised.

Men, if you are respected and supported and loved inside your own home you are rich beyond many billionaires. Be sure to thank those who breath life into you. Be sure to be thankful to the Lord who built the foundation that created your bullet proof home.

Inside those fortified walls are all the riches a man will ever need.

Fernando had this vision of a stone worker striking a rock. 100 or 1000 times..boom boom boom boom, over and over and over again and then suddenly, after what seemed like no progress, the rock broke. Was it all about the last Blow?

How often do we stay vigilant until the work is done. How often do we peel off just before the breakthrough? How often do we fail to realize that the delay in completion is exactly where we experience the most growth? Where our character is developed in ways that immediate success simply couldn't have fostered.

We have to believe that every blow counts. Invisible personal progress is happening when conventional proof seems to be illusive.

But don't worry...its certainly salvageable..in fact, you might have just accidentally created an awesome opportunity to express your love with a genuine appology. Don't waste another minute. A lot of times we look back and seem to assign a lot of power to a single bad decision or bad moment in our lives. We believe that these moments are the roots of our diversion from our intended path. But the real man skill that will pay huge dividends toward your future is the one that allows you to see the pitch coming a mile away. It's the ability to spot the contributors and avoid or rebuke them that is the ultimate key. If they go unchecked the their sum total is like to death by 1000 cuts. Each cut seems to be nothing by itself but when working in tandem with their evil cohorts they are powerful contributors to an unnecessary demise. No more compromise.

It's only then that the freedom begins to feel tangible.

But in the back of your mind you have this nagging question shrouded in doubt. Am I doing this all for myself or is it also positively affecting the people i love who surround me. Those teenagers that seem to never look up from their devices are watching you more than you think. You are setting a tremendously powerful example for them. You're about become their reference when they need it most....You're contagious, yet you're not a virus, you're part of the cure, isn't it awesome to know, that the cure is contagious? oh yes it is!

Aside from the fact that we know that all of our MentalEdge friends are visually stunning we wanted to spend a little time talking about the depth of real sustainable beauty. Lets face it, its great to be hot right, but if that's all you got on your plate you're gonna be running on empty real soon.
So take what little Corona Quarantine time you have left and think about what makes the people you love special. I bet it won't take long and you will easily see that real beauty has a whole lot more to do with being genuine and unique......you know, just the way God made you.

Theres a lie being told...it sounds like this. "All of the really talented people were born with it". We're calling B.S. on this one. Which stands for "bad saying"...what did you think we meant? Anyway, don't be discouraged by the people who seem more talented than you. Seek to become great at what inspires and excites you. Later on in life an amazing truth becomes astonishingly clear. The people who experience sustainable successful remain in the game not because they were necessarily born talented, but because they were born hungry. This unrelenting desire to become better propelled them well beyond the people with fleeting natural initial talent. Tortoise and the Hare kinda stuff here and your gonna love it.

A Virus has invaded our nation and whether you feel like the mandated isolation is an over reaction or whether you are certain death is inevitable, one thing is definately true.....you have some "rarely available" free time that you never imagined you would have.
