Episode #6 - Accountability vs. Responsibility
Quick discussion on Gary Vaynerchuk's view of accountability and drive. How do we push on our core values to establish a deeper drive for success?
Accountability - What is required to justify our actions and decision.
Responsible - Having control over something or someone as a part of a role or job.
Responsibility is something you are given, status, job, or role. Accountability is centered around the steps, actions, and outcomes because you have that role. How well you are able to accomplish the goals centered around your role depends on how well you are able to be accountable.
Actions in Accountability:
1 - Know your role. Who are you and what role are you handed in business and life? What are the responsibilities handed to you in that role? Is it healthy? Are you happy? Are you able to succeed?
2 - Have someone keep you accountable. Think business, life, and community. Have people hold you accountable so that you can work deeper.
3 - Live up to what you are accountable for. Make a list. Get connected to what you are accountable to. Make it your goal to get things done that are in your wheelhouse to get done.
If you do this well, your daily routine should be a matter of follow-through. Become more actionable accountable this week.

Between these scenarios exists the categories of high capacity and high integrity. This is the life we are after. This is the pursuit we are on.
