In Episode 62, Andy sits down with Amy Parsons, CEO of the Italian cosmetic, beauty and personal care brand, Mozzafiato. Amy left a career in law and academics to chase the entrepreneurial dream in a huge way. She and her team have partnered with a lineup of hand picked, family-owned businesses from around the country of Italy that have been making their products for hundreds of years. She’s importing hundreds of products into the United States and has built a direct-to-consumer sales system that is going to compete with the likes of Ulta Beauty, Sephora and Target without relying on any of the traditional retail channels or Amazon.
Amy is a big disruptor and has built an emerging startup in the middle of a pandemic when travel wasn’t available. Mozzafiato has developed an international supply chain and global operations team entirely remotely. Amy is at the helm of an explosive startup based in Downtown Denver that is sure to be a household name in the next few years.

Episode 35! In this episode we sat down with Leah Kay from Soulvation Society, the maker of innovative hair accessories. Leah discusses how she spent years furthering her education with no true career goal but has always had a strong passion for science and entrepreneurism. While pursuing her education in biotechnology, food science and more, she struggled to find a headband that properly fit her head, that was also stylish and easy to wear for both fitness and fashion purposes. Leah saw began making her own handcrafted headbands. While her at-home headband making was not intended to become a business venture, family and friends felt strongly that her high-quality and problem solving product would be a success if offered to the public. Tune in to hear how her hard work ethic and dedication has grown her business immensely.
Episode 34! In this episode, I sit down with Sam Rose the man behind the CBD infused dessert, RoseBud Ice Cream. RoseBud offers a variety of unique flavors of ice cream with both traditional and CBD options. Each CBD pint includes 50mg of CBD with serving sizes at approximately 15-17mg. Sam got into this business when a friend jokingly told him to start a THC infused ice cream company and over the span of a few years Sam pivoted his business plan to go with CBD infusions. Episode 33! Elizabeth Marberry is the Owner and Director of Education at Passion Force Yoga and Dance as well as Wedding Dance Coach here in Denver. Since she was a child, Elizabeth dreamed of becoming a dancer and dance instructor. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City and performed for many dance companies in NYC and Chicago. In this episode Elizabeth talks about the implications of the pandemic on both her businesses and how she has been able to maintain growth in both these communities. Wedding Dance Coach was established in 2010 when bride-to-be Elizabeth came to see the stress behind having a perfect first dance. Gibran is a culinary wizard who's blended multiple types of cuisine into a food experience that is not to be missed! After working in several restaurants in his home town of Rosarito, Mexico serving up traditional Mexican fare, Gibran decided he wanted to focus his effort on sushi. Michelle Davidson is the owner of Cooper's Small Batch in Denver, CO. She and her husband started making sauces originally for a restaurant they owned. In the hours when she’s not operating either of the aforementioned businesses, she produces independent short films.
