A weekly compilation of political news in Michigan. With political news being piecemeal, the landscape is hard to follow. Thomas and Jim bring the relevant news that people want to know straight to you. We summarize bills being considered at the state level and later in the show give opinions about what is going on.
The Ottawa Impact Commissioners have once again moved against Jacob Bonnema. A recent removal from the Ottawa County Finance and Administration Committee vice chair position has led to much anger from Bonnema toward his former running mates. There is another year before we find out exactly what the county as a whole thinks of the new board and what they think of their local press. Our county administrator has been accused of being difficult to work with and making a mess of our county. It seems only the directors that are interested in media attention have experienced that. During the Commissioner meeting last week the administrator says that his working relationship with the finance director has been fantastic and that she has been very helpful. It seems that the Ottawa County elections are run very well. Many claims have been made that the 2020 elections were a disaster but County Residents can be assured that our election process is secure and widely used. Roger Bergman is given a puff piece in the Grand Haven tribune that we will take a look at. Finally the Ottawa County Health Department is fully funded with commissioners working with the budget to get all necessary programs funded. The question remains as to when our county will be able to see exactly what we are spending our money on but for now the health department seems to have created a scene that amounted to nothing.

With the Ebel recall back in full swing, two more commissioners are now facing recalls. Both Doug Zylstra and Roger Bergman, the only two commissioners that consistently vote against the Ottawa Impact Commissioners, have had recall petitions filed against them with the same language in both. The health department is somehow still open and a rally is being held in support of Hambley on Wednesday. Nathan Kelly’s resume is released and it seems that the Holland Sentinel got the story wrong once again. The Holland Sentinel also assists in boosting the reach of far left agitators who disrupt government meetings which seems weird. Finally the police officer that shot and killed Patrick Layola after Layola tried taking his weapon is being supported by the GRPOA who said they will "give (Schurr) and his family whatever support they need.

The Ottawa County Health Department has been releasing unverified information in what seems to be an attempt to undermine the Ottawa Impact Commissioners. Said Commissioners are not off the hook but the claims from Hambley seem to be a little wild. The health department undermines local authority in other areas as well possibly on the taxpayer funds. The battle for who will be in control of the county is really heating up. Joe Moss answers to where some of the increased funds have gone. What exactly did The health department spend their increased funds for? The board’s response to the director for the health department using county resources to spread gossip was to make the county social media pages unavailable to the director. Somehow the Sentinel had that email hours after it was sent. Finally the sheriff’s office asks for funding for anti crime video devices and some citizens push back.

The talent and recruitment committee met last week on the 15th and discussed some appointments to the Ottawa County Community Corrections Advisory Board – Workforce Investment. Commissioner Zylstra mentioned that the nomination of Brooke Karl may be in violation of Michigan state law. There is also a discussion on the veterans affairs committee and the effort to establish a department for veterans in the next meeting on the 21st. Commissioners Zylstra and Bergman also inquired about ending the publication of the Ottawa Way after some objectionable content was published in it. What was the objectionable content? We take a look. Finally, the health department budget cuts are going to be a hot button issue in coming weeks. Coverage from the Sentinel is already starting but they will keep it behind the paywall for now. When the free articles come out we will see where the Sentinel is angling its readers. I would bet it will be in the same direction they have already been heading.

The primaries are done and the results are in. New information comes out about one of the candidates for Mayor of GH and the local papers studiously avoid reporting it. We have the details here to fill in the lack of reporting. In other news the community is in an uproar over the new administrative assistant and some mean things he said. Interestingly enough the same people mad about him are the ones following Larry Jackson in his recall effort after he made racist and sexist comments. The only difference? Political party. The Ottawa County Commissioners discuss some of the issues left to them by the previous board and point out underfunded areas that the previous board claimed to care about. The new board plans to look into remedies for that problem. The Commissioners also address the budget and look for ways to help trim the budget. Finally one Commissioner seems to be spinning the budget cuts to suit his own views and the other Commissioners spend an abundance of time clarifying and correcting the issue.

As elections loom closer, I do my best to bring you the information you need to make an informed decision. I ask the candidates the tough questions that the local newspapers don’t seem concerned with and make sure you know who you are voting for. Some candidates consent to the interviews, and some do not. Bob Monetza is one that took the interview opportunity and so I cover some of what he brings to the Grand Haven Mayoral race. He is a little light on specifics, but dismantling DEI was bad for the county. The BOC met last week and discussed the legal counsel and voted to approve more spending on legal counsel. Some complaints are made about the decision, but commissioner Cosby says that she has personally seen some of the changes that they are implementing and that the changes are very beneficial to the county. Obviously, the tribune and the sentinel have done their best to cover this claim, but I cannot find the evidence. Finally, the commissioners vote no on a mental health campaign which seems counterproductive. The sentinel certainly thinks so but is there good reason for that no vote? Maybe.

August primaries are coming up and there are some cities with choices to make. With primaries for Council Members in Coopersville and Mayor of Grand Haven you will want to make sure you are voting for the right person. I am attempting to reach out to all the candidates to give you the information you need. Regarding the Ottawa County Board of Commissioners, the two left leaning members of the board continue to vote in lockstep on almost every issue. This week it is for the health department yet again. The health department wants to take money from Wayne State University to upgrade our health department doors and lighting. The trade off for the money is that Ottawa County will provide information to the university regarding how many more people are getting vaccinated. Commissioner Rhodea shows that the program actually is designed to increase the number of people vaccinated specifically for Covid and to have Ottawa County advertise the Health Department as a “MVP.” The definition of an “MVP” is concerning to some board members and the motion fails.

There is a recall effort against Lucy Ebel of District 2 in Ottawa County. From claims of racism to claims of extremism the accusations are flying and it seems the fighting in the county is going to continue until democrats have what they want. It seems that the claims of wasting county money are only for the conservatives in the district. We have all the details that the Holland Sentinel forgot about and the support from the Latino community for one of their own. In other news the resolution to protect childhood innocence seems like a resolution that most commissioners would want to be on board with. I have talked to Doug Zylstra about his no vote and the reasons behind it.

Eric Zane, formerly on the free beer and hot wings show, made an argument that children at the pride events are no problem. Diminishing the drag show and pretending that they are not sexual is popular lately and Eric Zane is all on board. After praising the drag shows with children present he goes on to sexualize a child. The child’s mother is not happy and is rallying support to pull local advertisers from the show. The Holland pride festival goes on with many local businesses continuing to support drag queens for children. Dana Nessel is going to get her wish very soon. The Ottawa County Commissioners censure Commissioner Bonema for abuse of power and a seeming deliberate attempt to erode public trust in the Commissioners. Commissioner Zylstra, in keeping with the leftist’s supposed ignorance of child sexualization, asks for a list of things that sexualize children in the same meeting. Commissioner Bergman goes further and says the resolution is “wrong on so many levels.” In a phone call with me he says that he isn’t sure if he would continue to support organizations that involve children in drag shows. Constituents are left to wonder how all these commissioners and the institutions can continue to support leftist organizations.

The Grand Haven pride festival was last weekend and the pictures and video are quite a sight. The Grand Haven Tribune brings us all their proud pictures from one event. The lqbt agenda continues to march on but one couple is helping business owners in Grand Haven see that they don’t have to be coerced into supporting the movement and have found success at drawing funds away from the pride parade. You can also see which businesses support these public drag shows with children in attendance in case there are some lifestyle changes or clarifying phone calls that you want to make. Finally the Ottawa County Health Department is under fire again for allegedly trying to use taxpayer money on leftist agenda items. The question remains for many in Ottawa County, “how much good does the health department do?”

A school district in Ottawa County is establishing medical services for students that will be available to the students right in the building. Some parents are concerned that the education system is taking too much responsibility over children and that they are encroaching on parent’s rights. As we navigate the world after the Covid event we are consistently being presented with more ways that medical professionals can take over for us. Is this going to become a trend in Ottawa County? In Allendale GVSU has been found to employ a drag queen as a coach for men’s volleyball and volleyball isn’t the only thing he is teaching. The culture is being bombarded this month with rainbows and scantily clad homosexuals and now Grand Haven is helping children get in on the fun. From face painting and bounce houses to drag shows and drag bingo there will be abundant opportunity to confuse your child.

Amid the flurry of gun control laws being voted on and approved by Michigan Governor Gretchin Whitmer, most of the Ottawa County Board of Commissioners took a strong stance for the constitution Tuesday during their meeting. The Board of Commissioners found out that the taxpayers are giving out bags of information to black pregnant women worth 300$ but that the business allegedly doing the information drive seems to not exist. The Board also found out that our health department is funding LQBTQ organization Out On The Lakeshore to the tune of $8000. Some reporters attacked the board for questioning this funding and implied that they are against homosexuals and black americans. Is more digging necessary to find out what is going on here? Finally Republicans in Michigan are trying to make everyone happy with their legislation on trans athletes but they seem to be doing the opposite. Trans Rights activists fail to defend their position and the media fail to present both sides of the issue.

The Ottawa County Health Department has had questions raised about the practice of bringing up traumatic experiences in a questionnaire given over the phone. The Behavior Risk Factor Survey is a 34-page survey given by a phone bank employee, which takes about 25-30 minutes to complete. The concern has been raised by commissioners that the questions may be harmful to the residents of Ottawa County and may also be giving our health department bad data. The Allendale School Board has decided that remaining a part of the association that requested parents be investigated for domestic terrorism has enough good qualities that they should remain a part of it. Does the school board hold parents rights in high enough regard to retain their seats? The Ottawa County Board of Commissioners has made navigating their YouTube videos easier and that’s a good thing for reporters that cannot attend every meeting and for citizens that are curious about the public comments made. There is hope that this format can be applied to the rest of the video. Finally there are a couple of concerning laws being passed through Congress that could have an impact directly on us in Ottawa County. Citizen input is encouraged as to the effect and the analysis from our Board of Commissioners.

The shooting at MSU has sparked another heated political battle. Democrats are calling for more gun laws and Republicans are saying that the ones on the books need to be enforced. Within Ottawa County we have two hecklers of elected officials that are doing their best to get those officials fired from their jobs. Joseph F Spaulding of Holland and Walter "Mac" Davis are doing everything they can to harass the new commissioners and are even extending their reach to precinct delegates. Finally, the commissioners are being sued for their decision to replace the director of the health department so we will see where that goes.

The Ottawa County Board of Commissioners have fulfilled many of their campaign promises within the first day of taking office. They have been called everything from fascists to untransparent to unlawful. We'll look at what they did and how legal it is. The AG for the state of Michigan thinks she can find some problems with the actions of the board and is launching an investigation to protect all the unelected democrats in our county government from our elected Board of Commissioners. This shows her commitment to democracy and self-governance. We also discuss some of the impotent arguments for how important the health director is. Finally, I am the only media outlet to report on the exposure of Doug Van Essen as a man more dedicated to sowing confusion than to working with the new commissioners in an honest way. Why are media outlets so unconcerned with government officials lying to their new bosses? We discuss today.

This revelation should be obvious to most people, but we need to help our green friends when they don't understand fossil fuels. Other problems with the destruction of the power plant are starting to manifest too. Talking about 33% increase for energy in Grand Haven. Yikes. Colleges are finally starting to comment on republican beliefs, and we are all so relieved to have the experts explaining to us the things they think republicans believe. Finally, an update on what my plan is for next year for the show and a look into how schools put teachers before students.

Democrats have not even taken office yet and they are proposing massive reform of the state's laws. HB 6544 would make it illegal to own a rifle. This bill may not go anywhere but it is a predictable development. Gretchin Whitmer celebrates our small businesses but has never acknowledged the small business owner she arrested for operating. Republicans need to bring something to the table better than the potential for fraud and I discuss the differences between our state constitution and national constitution. Finally there is more fun out of GHAPS encouraging gender confusion for children.

Jen Stuppy spoke to Don about the slander she experienced in the Grand Haven Tribune. We desperately need local news that will fairly represent all sides. You need all the facts so that you can make your own decision. Also, why should you care about the appellate court and how should you vote on it this Tuesday? We'll discuss how to find out the facts. Finally, policing is continually under attack and the attack is in Grand Rapids. We discuss the case again.

Don talks with Carl Treutler about his vision of the GHAPS Board and philosophy of material for the school. What has he brought to the board and what will he bring in the future? Don also talks with Allendale board candidate Troy Lampen about his view for the Allendale school board and was pleasantly surprised about his attitude. Finally we have an interview from the candidate for UofM regent Lana Epstein done by Justin Barclay.
The polls in Michigan are telling a different story than you might hear from the mainstream media and Democrats. Tudor is up, proposals are up, but a red wave may be the outcome. A poll in the NYT suggests that many Americans don't trust the media which is a great pitch for me! We hear from Roger Williams running for the Grand Haven School Board and examine the claim that he is a disruptive and radical extremist. Finally, clear your children from the room because I will be talking about "This Book Is Gay" and you don't want this near your children. Why is it in GHAPS? You know...

Many parents have started attending their school board meetings upon learning that they had almost no control over their child's learning and that some teachers are using their platform to teach harmful ideologies to children. Some parents are motivated enough to run for the school board themselves. I spoke to Tommy Vanhill and Thomas Hoekstra this week and we will see what they have to say. Also, since the Mayor of GH didn't get addressed last week that's on the docket. GHHS curriculum director says she "resents" Grand Haven's Community. Proposal 3 lets children make their own decision about sterilization and finally we look at how mail in ballots are processed.

Grand Valley trains many of the teachers that will be teaching your children. Their 21 day racial equity challenge is questionable and their training from the LGBTQ center is troubling. We will discuss the problems with the training of our teachers. Also the mayor of Grand Haven is under fire at the moment. What's that about? Find out here. Plus there are more school boards for you to consider. Grand Haven and Allendale school boards now have endorsements. Garlin Gilchrist is making bank in dubious ways. Charlie Leduff has that story. Finally, Walter "Mac" Davis shares his wisdom with us all. We'll look into all that today on the HOMES POLITICAST.
There are 3 proposals on the ballot in Michigan and Don has discovered that not many people know much about any of them. Get the information you need to make an informed decision. We look at the text and the arguments for and against. Also a hero from Michigan may be cut from the military for not getting the covid vax. Also Hillary Scholten thinks truth is on her side.
Dana Nessel is getting her wish. Grandville Public Schools have a drag queen running for the school board. Hooray! We will discuss all the school board races in Ottawa County and why drag queens are applying to be on the school board. Also what are your public school teachers learning? Why do they seem so opposed to what parents want taught in their classrooms? We will discuss and give some audio clips from a local college. Finally men are being called to step up in our county. We have problems and it takes men leading to fix many of them. We will discuss that today.
Hillary Scholten dodges conservative media and doesn't answer questions about her beliefs. She's not the only democrat that dodges questions from media. We have the audio from Hillary's flight. GHAPS encourages students to be anti-racist activists. What is the difference between not being racist and being anti-racist? The petition of gibberish is approved to go to the ballot and there is a concerted effort from conservatives to inform voters if you want to get involved. Finally, we have audio from Wood TV 8 about their reporter's preparation for her story and the Loutit Library says they are totally aware of the pornographic scenes and the pedophilia. They say it is "inclusive" and "necessary" in the library.
Ottawa County parents are concerned about some of the books promoted at the local library. Wood TV 8 doesn't seem too concerned with the facts about the books but I will show you exactly what Loutit is promoting and how they are confusing the issue and defending the pornographic images. The amendment to enshrine abortion rights will not be going to the ballot in Nobember and Fred Wszolek makes an interesting point about it's effect on statutory rape laws. Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson will be going to court over dead voters on the voter registration and Charlie Leduff reports on the third world power grid in Detroit.
The Board of Light and Power in Grand haven is hiking up the cost of resident's energy. They want you to be understanding. Social Emotional Learning is all the rage, but does it do the students of GHAPS any good or is it more leftism in disguise? The abortion debate rages with proponents of abortion literally spewing gibberish into our constitution. I recieve fan mail from satisfied customers on Craigslist and will share those gems with you. Finally an activist judge decides he is the law and will not allow Michigan law to be enforced.
The election of County Commissioners has led to the resignation of the Ottawa County Health Dept. director. While victory in our county feels good the work is not done. One writer for the Grand Haven tribune, named Walter "Mac" Davis, slanders Ottawa Impact and encourages current Board of Commissioners to harass the incoming Commissioners. In news about our schools, three days after John Siemion’s resignation from the GHAPS school board, the Curriculum Director was colluding with local activist from the Momentum Center to influence the selection of the next Grand Haven School Board member. We still have a lot of work to do in removing leftists from positions of power in our county.
More disturbing video from the Michigan Department of Education. They are advocating for boys and young men to be in the girls locker room. They also state that there is no physical advantage to boys in sports. A Michigan library was defended and is now privately funded. Taxpayers decided they didn't want to pay for gay indoctrination. GHAPS can't get it together as they withhold student lectures from parents and finally the leftist press once again has no interest in a story except getting a Republican prosecuted. Why do they think the voting machine workings should be kept secret from the people? You know.
The primary is over, and the results are in. Let's discuss them. Also, the Michigan Department of Education says that they don't need to inform parents about their child's pronouns or counseling being given to the child. Whitmer is saying things that don't quite add up to her stance on political issues but that's nothing new. We discuss her contrary assertions.
In this week's show Jim talks about a venue refusing to serve same sex couples and Biden's refusal to acknowledge an economic recession
Anon Don talks with Rachel Bosscher-Atwood about the miprecinctfirst.com initiative that is driving grassroots conservatism in Ottawa County by filling the seats that have been largely left vacant for so long.
Ottawa County Commissioner Randy Meppelink explains why DE&I office must work with leftists and why he was censured by Ottawa County GOP.
A Michigan school employee is arrested on pedophile charges after a rousing speech about what to teach children. Where in the school the man works is unclear but his connection to the left is quite obvious. Gretchin Whitmer says she is for women's choice but seems to only support one choice. A Utah group starts rating books in schools on how graphic they are about sex and how much they indoctrinate children. Randy Meppelink is a county commissioner, and he says the DE&I office has to work with far left groups. No choice. They're in our community so we have to partner with them.
In a stunning turn of events the GOP in Ottawa County has voted to censure 6 of their Commissioners. I talked to Matt Fenske about the claim. Michigan's largest newspaper is working for the governor and spending money promoting her. That's not all the news is doing as they run hit pieces on the republican nominees. The news also can't seem to find a thing to criticize democrats for. Ballots are pouring in just minutes after the ROE V. WADE ruling. We'll discuss that.
My conversation with Robyn Afrik about the DE&I office along with the last Ottawa County board of commissioners meeting with an excerpt from GVSU. The Grand Haven Tribune notices some problems in the political landscape here in Ottawa County with a nonresident on the City Counsil. Ottawa County is training for mass shootings. Will this help? Pete Bittigieg makes his home here in Michigan and is expected to run as Governor. Finally, the legislature makes an appeal to the courts to allow laws to be enforced rather than the courts arbitrarily striking them down.
A nursing home executive speaks about the death count for nursing homes. Charlie Leduff has that story. We also answer Karen Dumas's analysis of the Supreme Court decision on Roe vs. Wade and guns. A democrat lawmaker is sentenced to jail time and the media gives us crickets about it. Why? I have a theory I will tell you about. The objective media tells us we don't need a law prohibiting drag queens in schools because it's never happened here. Finally, the Gubernatorial Debates have begun, and we have a clip for you.
In this week's show, Jim talks about the overturning of Roe and what that means for the Republicans. Also he talks about recent developments in the January 6 Committee
Greg talks to me about the upcoming election and the state of the county board of commissioners in Ottawa County.
If you live in Ottawa County you have seen the Ottawa Impact signs up all over. The goal is to replace the board of commissioners and the Chair of the Board speaks with me about concerns he has. Also drag queens for every school says Attorney General Dana Nessel. What is that and was it a joke?
Frontrunner in the Gubernatorial race in the state of Michigan was arrested and his house raided by the FBI for a misdemeanor charge. Prominent democrats seem gleeful at the weaponization of the FBI for political purposes. Another criminal killed by a cop for fighting the cop and the media again lied to us about the details. As we learn more, we find the media was wrong about almost everything. The news doesn't know the meaning of words which is a problem for a business that communicates information. Finally, the Ottawa County Commissioner's race is heating up and we will be speaking with some of the candidates soon and looking at the last commissioners meeting.
In this week's show, Jim talks about drag queens, a drag evangelist, and how Biden's presidency is a complete drag
In this week's show Jim talks about the causes (and effects) of rising inflation and about the possible overturning of Roe v Wade
Cops are executing black men again and everybody's an expert in law and detaining criminals. Dead men are still voting in michigan according to Charlie LeDuff and even he is nervous about it with the upcoming election. With videos of multiple people acting suspicious, we should maybe make a day where everyone goes to a place to vote. Fortune Tellers are foreseeing some trouble in their future in Michigan, they’re right for once. Democrats that are in favor of teaching children about sexual orientation are appalled at having that fact pointed out and have clapped back and use church as a shield? or whatever.
In this week's show Jim talks about the Governor's race and why Biden is going to get us into a war with Russia
Gretchin Whitmer is scared of the monsters under her bed. She doesn't know the monster is the FBI though! Child porn is on the way to being legal and the Lanthorn gives its usual standard of reporting. Also what is a woman? Who knows.
Weed Is racist!?!?!? More on that later. We are one day away from my interview with Sen Hollier. I will be discussing his views on education, fundraising in California, I.D. for voting, Forensic audits, and more! In the republican realm more republicans with the wrong message enter the race for governor and Senator Wayne Schmidt has proposed a bill that will further erode the education of Michigan students about our government in favor of cloaking them with guilt for things they didn’t do. Whether this is an intentional attack on education, or an ignorant decision made for funding the result is the same. Will the GOP ever stand up for what their constituents want? Finally, Lansing Schools and GVSU follows the science and only the science. They would never use covid for politics and would never use rules that don’t make sense. We’ll look at those rules today.
First is Joe Rogan. Will he stay or will he go? Then breaking news today as the governor declares 6 more years of winter this past week while fundraising in California and also saving women tens of dollars on tampons for the year. Will she stay to escape the winter she is forcing on Michigan while enjoying the west coast sun? Will the tampon tax break end poverty? Also there is a terrorist watch list member living in Michigan! Charlie Leduff knocked on his door and there was no answer so hopefully he’s alright in there. Charlie also reports another 1400 dead people in nursing homes found by independent investigation. Kristina Karamo claims another mainstream outlet named Hour Detroit is propagating lies about her and other outlets claiming to be conservative just can’t resist twisting narratives about Ryan Kelly. Finally GVSU is coming out strong in the prediction for shots every semester.
In this week’s show Jim talks about Baloney masks, Whitmer’s non-transparency, and Biden’s first year.
We have seen an explosion of people recognizing this problem with the media as just after we started talking about it and showing it the media went into full blown propaganda mode with the release of everyone’s favorite virus. Now we stand in the gap as best we can to call out the bologna from the media and give you real right wing opinions and takes on the news as it emerges here in Michigan. We want to thank our listeners for slogging through the first couple years as Jim and I have figured out formatting and streaming issues and we especially thank our twitter following here in Michigan for the promotion that they do.
Anon Don is examining the questions swirling the Oxford shooting like crap swirling the bowl. He exposes the utter uselessness of democrats and their laws and posits some theories that might actually save lives in the future. Will democrats consider doing something besides restricting law abiding gun owners or will they make every city like Detroit and Chicago?
In this week’s show, Jim talks about Bob Dole, the loss of the Greatest Generation, and the rash of school threats.
Another violent incident in public schools spurs democrats to attack the second amendment as usual but are there other solutions that don't destroy personal liberty? Probably. We discuss them. Also follow the money!!! GVSU Lanthorn is starting to catch on to the fact that the college is applying covid restrictions unevenly. All that and more today with Don and Jim
U of M hiding from their students the fact that they graduated a disgrace of a prosecutor. GV Lanthorn reveals their lack of insight and knowledge of the Rittenhouse case and just believes state propeganda. Colleges are doing a poor job of representing facts to their students but Homes is here with the reality to set them straight. Hopefully some students still find value in truth.
Anon Don has more than one college to talk about today plus the creepiest guy on the internet. Also the vaccine seems to be helping a lot. We'll take a look. Finally the Michigan Attorney General is deflecting and Michigan is having a medical freedom rally in Lansing.
The GV Lanthorn gets the right wing review of their leftist articles, Whitmer administration is literally on fire, twitter is a breeding ground of misinformation and pandering, and conservatives are racist for electing a black Lt. Governor in Indiana.
It’s not about your freedom. The mantra from the left the past year has made that pretty clear and when the president says it directly, well that’s par for the course. A parent group from Michigan is contacting law makers and getting legislation pushed through congress and Texas fills my leftist tears mug to overflowing. A lot of hype in the world today and I’m here to parse through it with you all and bring a little sanity back into the conversation.
The media admits that the new normal is here to stay and kids are getting PTSD and laugh about it but not in the headlines. GVSU administrator estimates the number of GVSU students hospitalized and the number is astonishing. A lady that fled communism is finally allowed to reopen after being forced to close over a virus she isn’t scared of and schools across the state are mandating masks against the wishes of the parents. The covid slog continues asa we get protected right into the gulag where you will be put in solitary confinement and finally have total protection from the chinese virus. We have legislation going through to stop all this nonsense so hopefully that comes before the Gulag.
The American experiment has gone wrong somewhere. We have universities mandating a faux vaccine with little legislative pushback, the people are upset and they can't get an elected official to talk to them, and judges are now giving porn back to addicts that should be in a loony bin. The founding fathers would be rolling over in their Graves if they saw what people today think freedom is. Slavery is the new freedom so let's get super free under our technocrats and beurocrats and medicrats. Anon Don and Jim Solve the world’s problems.
Grand Valley has a town hall last Thursday and we are here to cover it. With conflicting information from the Dr and risk levels that seem to be associated with everything other than covid cases on campus I'm thinking we need an open town hall where questions can't be curated. Meanwhile there is a student standing up and getting together a viable resistance and change dot org is not really for change. The FDA approves the vaccine for reasons unknown to anyone but them and Healthcare may be in the verge of collapse as we know it.
As our political leaders abandon us here at home they also abandon everyone in the middle east. The taliban is now running roughshod over anyone who opposed them and slaughtering them en mass because we didn’t like keeping troops in Afghanistan. Meanwhile the president can’t remember who our governor is here in Michigan. The people are rushing to get as much of this safety drug as they can into their systems as the government pours the unvaxed into the country and democrats say masking is the right choice for children. What a shocker.
Colleges are going communist and requiring vaccines, MLive reporters admit that the vaccine is experimental but you should get it anyway and if you don't you should suffer. Protests erupt in Lansing as the institutions of power like the media ignore the will of the people. Where can you hear the will of the people? Right here on the Homes Politicast.
Sen. McBroom gets the typical independent treatment but Don still has a couple questions for Mcbroom. Overall a good interview for Mcbroom though. Some cute goat stories too! Michigan is hopping this summer.
We have homework this week, the governor finally gets started on the roads, and democrats talk about free speech. (LOL)
Anon Don documents the incredible reporting of Charlie LeDuff on the state's miserable record keeping, a company that has helped a community only to be protested, and a heroic young man is honored this weekend. Join #miresistance with The Homes Politicast!
The science followed by governor Gretchin Whitmer seems to be changing at almost the same rate as she is caught ignoring it, a criminal lawsuit is filed by a lawyer against Whitmer, Hastings is allowing the students to run the show instead of leading their students, and Anon Don has been vindicated in statements made throughout last year on the masks and throughout this year on vaccines! Also any comments that are regressive and backwards enough will be read on the show.
Anon Don discusses the changes in Michigan schools and what actually constitutes a distraction, anti-asian hate is oppressing asians in Michigan, and the Gop from Michigan needs a house cleaning if they want to attack their own side.
The Free Press actually ran some stories that cast Whitmer in an unfavorable light. Maybe they will be more honest but I won't hold my breath. Duggan gets an activist for police chief in Detroit, and more fun!
Homes Store: https://my-store-b47c32.creator-spring.com/listing/the-homes-store
Anon Don discusses the interesting political events of the week. The media still avoid Soldano like the plague so I will keep covering him, Whitmer's father made a miraculous recovery, and police Cheif James Craig is stepping up to the plate as the republican for the media. Also why is a parent whose child committed suicide the leader in our state for mental health advocation. Why do we follow someone whose only experience is faliure?
The Detroit Free Press thinks that I should be shunned from society. They may think that about you too if you share in my skepticism of brand new drugs the CDC won't approve. Don't lose heart!!! Media that loves the people of this state is here to help Michigan heal. Join the Michigan resistance!!
The media continues to report shootings of criminals as racist attacks, the press actually hold someone accountable for once, and Michigan legislature wants to repeal term limits so they can continue to leech off the people.
Michigan is exploding with coronavirus cases, the governor is asking her people instead of demanding, and children are being shipped to Michigan to be put in cages. It seems like the world is upside down and the media are out of touch with all of it. We express the opinion of the people. Not the elite.
This week Anon Don starts the show with technical difficulties, talks about the fights against the government from a group of moms, Whitmer vowing she will not sign a bill that secures voting, and a Detroit man wins a prize for helping... Zimbabwe?!? All that and more today on The Homes Politicast.
The Michigan State Police have arrested Marlena Hackney and the media don't seem to mind. MIHHS Director admits that Whitmer actively opposed his advice during the pandemic, and Trump is the scapegoat still.
Anon Don talks about the lack of transparency in Michigan government. We also discuss life behind a screen! Check out how the third live stream went.
Disney fires an actor for anti nazi-posts, Michigans legislature may have grown a spine, and the white house is normalizing teaching citizens from the capital. The show live streams on twitch at 2 pm est. Follow halodieguyhp for the stream!
Furor Whitmer of Michigan calls for unity after doing everything by herself for the past year, Biden calls for unity as he mandates his legislation onto the whole country, and both are clowns. Also Whitmer is killing more businesses with tax hikes during a "pandemic," the republican party cleans house again, and MTG get s mention on the show today. Check it out!
