We are going to have a fantastic conversation with the best trumpet player in Under Five Nine. It isn't easy managing a band full of young'ns, but when a trumpet player as perfect as Jonny comes across your path you do whatever you have to do to lock him down.

For most people New Years Eve is a night of hope and joy; an exciting transition full of promise. For Under Five Nine it was an evening fraught with internal discord which will have us finding ourselves down a man. However it is not all doom and gloom when a couple members of the band find some good fortune and we unfold an epic prank!!

This week we will be talking with the infamous (that's when you are more than famous, right?) Damien Clark - the best first drummer of The Crishtones/Under Five Nine. It is time to hit the road with our new lead singer and new bass player. We venture to Northern Arizona to play our first drummer-less show and our first Flagstaff show. Along the way we will encounter some old friends and make some new ones.

Now that we've said farewell to our original bass player it was time to move forward with our newest member, Evan Spencer. Along the way we will discuss how we made it through our first summer of ska. We keep it local for a bit a play some shows around the Prescott area.

We will bring talk to a good friend, Ben Lippard, from the band Lemonade Stand to talk about what it was like playing a show in Prescott over the 4th of July weekend. For those who remember, the 4th in Prescott was quite the event.

In 1996, a few youths in rural Arizona set out to form a band. Little did they know this chance encounter would grow into one of the largest Christian ska bands in Arizona between 1997 and 1998. Listen to how the Crishtones came together, their journey to ska, and who came up with that dreadful name.
