The war on drugs is a terrible debacle. It's been an excuse for politicians, judges, and law enforcement to shred the 4th amendement. It's made criminals of millions of non violent Americans and turned South and Central America into a giant war zone. It's funneled billions of dollars into the hands of cartels and governments.

Food has a lot to do with your mental state.
Step 1: Meal Prep.
Step 2: Grow some food.
Step 3: Educate yourself on food and nutrition.
Fruit in the morning; light protein and greens for lunch; heavier protein and greens for dinner. Snack as much as you want.
Fruit in the morning is energizing and will keep you light. Pineapple, oranges, grapefruit, melons, mango, are all easy to prep. Fresh dates are amazing. Peel and freeze bananas for a quick smoothie.
For lunch, a light protein and greens. Either veggie or animal protein works. Greens keep you digestives system moving.
Dinnertime: Big salad and heavier protein, maybe some carbs. Sweet potatoes are a great carb and don't require much flavoring.
It's important to learn to cook for yourself. It'll save you money, allow you to control your health, and increase your liberty.
After learning to cook, growing your food is the next step to freedom. Even if you don't have a yard, you can make sprouts or microgreens on a countertop.
If you have gardening space, I recommend getting started with greens. No store bought greens can ever compare to those you grow yourself.
Think about how you can store food that you grow. Dehydrating and freezing are my preferred methods.
What can you forage and hunt in your area?
Meat chickens are easy, cheap, and quick to raise.
Our modern food system is built on govt subsidized oil and pesticides. Hundreds of thousands of sq miles of the US is dedicated to corn and soy, which are heavily sprayed.
Annual crops are hard on the environment, especially in our industrial agricultural system.
GMOs will not feed the world. GMOs exist to "sell" pesticides. Normal plants die when sprayed with glyphosate, so Monsanto developed GMO plants that won't die when sprayed with glyphosate....so that Monsanto can sell more glyphosate.
Veganism is not necessarily the best diet for the environment. It's a diet that is based on monocrops and soy. Sugar is technically vegan...but how many hundreds of thousands of acres of wetlands have been destroyed to make sugar farms?
Throughout history, governments and empires have used food to subjugate the conquered. Amaranth, English corn laws, potato famine, Holodomor, Chinese 3 year famine.
The reason for the SAD (std american diet) is b/c of govt schools. I worked in the LA govt schools for 2 years and I can say, first hand, there is no attention to health, nutrition, or food awareness.
Big corporations write the laws. So they can get away with unsustainable practices and pollution because they own the politicians. Small farmers and food businesses, however, get screwed by these same laws.

What are the definitions of capitalism and socialism?
Decisions under socialism are made by politicians, not the people! The people are not the government! The govt is corporate lawyers and lobbyists. Under socialism you are FORCED to buy a product. Socialism is so popular b/c of govt schools, where we learn that we are powerless and that questioning authority is insane and evil. We learn to be good little citizens, not individuals.
Under capitalism, decisions are made by individuals.
Public is private; private is public.
Profit works both ways. In a free market, you won't buy a product if it doesn't bring you profit.
Entrepreneurs risk going broke, so they will be more discerning with their investments and decisions. Govt bureaucrats don't risk going broke! Who do you think is going to make a better decision.
Not only do govt bureaucrats not have an incentive to make good decisions, they don't have the knowledge. It's impossible for a central authority to make decisions for hundreds of millions of people. They couldn't even make a pencil.
The stock market is not a free market.
Pollution could never exist in a truly free market; government enables pollution. Pollution could not happen in a truly private market.
Capitalism works because of competition.
Socialism creates monopolies.
In a free market, bad actors will go out of business. Under socialism, it will continue to grow.

I came from the "Left," so that's where I can easily find the cracks in statist arguments. Here's my take on gun control.
The idea that gun owners don't care about innocent people getting shot is silly. It's ironic that a lot of conservative gun owners are pro life, so technically they care more about innocent life than pro abortion leftists! (I'm pro abortion - go for it ladies)
Calling for gun control is calling for more violence. Passing a law to confiscate guns requires....guns.
The government kills waaaaay more people than civilians by way of gun violence. 200,000 dead civilians in the Middle East wars.
Statists believe that armed govt employees have special status. This is true on the right and the left. But armed govt employees are rarely held accountable for unjustified shootings.
People who call for gun control are calling for self defense by proxy; ie they don't want to actually defend themselves, they want other people to do it. That's fine, but they have no right to disarm others.
Cops don't treat everyone equally. There's a big difference between how they treat calls to rich neighborhoods vs poor neighborhoods. If the cops even show up at all, sometimes they kill the person who called!
Cops have no legal duty to protect American citizens. Broward Cty case. Warren vs DC. Castle Rock vs Gonzalez.
It sounds like a cliche, but....when guns are criminalized, only the criminals will have guns.
If you hate guns....you should LOVE Trump! If you love guns....you should HATE Trump!
Anyone who tries to disarm you is an aggressor.
The 2A is not about having rifles to hunt with; it's about civilians being able to defend themselves against the government. The BOR was written by people who had just overthrown their own government by force.
Yes, you can fight the US govt with small arms. Look at Vietnam and Afghanistan.
Most gun owners are peaceful people - unless they work for the government!
Gun control in Virginia -The idea that gun control is about non-violence is ridiculous! Law enforcement enforces unconstitutional laws ALL THE TIME.
Disarmament precedes genocide.
If the left really supported minority rights it would support gun ownership.

Politics is control of society. Nobody wants to be controlled, but many want to control other people. We're just 2 big groups, attracted to buzzwords, trying to control the other group. The only solutions that politicians will ever offer is to give more control to the government. Each side thinks that this is a good thing....as long as the government is doing "what they want." But what about individual rights?
The state is the ruling class. They claim violent authority on their turf. Government is the nuts and bolts of the state. There's no difference between the R and L, the Ds and Rs. Both Ds and Rs are part of the ruling class, they're just appealing to different interest groups in order to increase the scope and power of the state. The "left" and the "right" are just two sides of the same statist coin.
Anarchists try to find peaceful agreements without a ruling class.
The Libertarian Party is different from libertarianism. (Big L vs Small l) Sarwark vs Smith.
Anarchism is based on Non Aggression Principle and Private Property Rights. The state is based on aggression and violation of private property rights.
Public = Private; Private = Public.
The ruling class treats itself differently from the ruled; the line must be drawn.
You either believe in individual rights or group rights. Statists don't care about individual rights, it's all about the group for them. They're authoritarian collectivists.
How do we determine "authority?" In ancient times, the king was god himself. Then, the king talked to god himself. Now, if the majority of a country vote for a politician, his word becomes the word of god.
What if Disneyland security treated people like government police? Who would go back to Disneyland?
In a statist society, we're held hostage by our neighbors, with the state holding the gun. All statists advocate violence and theft.
Modern American statism is a false dichotomy. The third choice? Govern yourself. There's no point in fighting in the statist arena.
