Kerberos is a small natural satellite of Pluto, about 19 km (12 mi) in its longest dimension. Kerberos is also the second-smallest moon of Pluto, after Styx. For those who have been following us for some time, our next guest needs no introduction: d.m.s. has already made some excellent contributions to MoustacheMusic, and we are more than happy to add this one to our archives as well.
He is also known from the duo Taron-Trekka, has been guaranteeing a unique, deep minimalist yet groovy sound for many years now and is a familiar face at the East-German cult label Freude am Tanzen. avtumna loved to accept a second invitation for a 'carte blanche' mix. The Antwerp based knob twiddler mainly produces ambient drones from his cave and rarely put mixes together. That's exactly why we love to challenge him to do so. Again, no disappointment at all. The man has an exquisite taste in music and this one hour contribution is a reflection that. Again, it feels like velvet to our ears. Since 2010 he created quite some albums / EPs , mostly self-released. His latest limited edition release on Werra Foxma is an absolute beauty. He couldn't entirely hide his excitement and pride when contacting him. Seems that the price of the only luxe edition copy left on Discogs skyrocketed to a minimum of 55 euro. It was again an honour to have you as a guest. Apologies for a very late upload. It has been exceptionally difficult times for one of us. On the other hand, it would be a shame not to upload this storytelling journey full of rarities.
Self taught studio producer exploring the sound from outer space from his cockpit. MoustacheMusic invited Stockman to contribute for the weekly series as he was never challenged to wrap up a mix. Hesitation was soon followed by acceptance. As an astronaut he knew very fast where to bring the listeners to. Stockman obviously chose to bring an 100% owned mix, carefully guiding us through the depths of his parallel musical universe, not drifting away from the very personal essence of his existence.

ROOK, a Gent based band, was about to break through until 2020 suddenly changed everything. Three years ago they arose from the muddy underground, steadily growing and now on the tipping point to become a dark, mystic flower. Jean Reiki is an established bass trooper in the Singapore scene, always working hard to reinvent herself as a music producer and as a DJ. Lukitas is the devoted young man behind the Argentinean project called UMA Soundsystem. He's a product of a growing Argentinean techno scene that also gains more and more visibility on the European continent thanks to techno pioneers like Jonas Kopp or Guti. UMA Soundsystem seems to make his own way as a producer in the Buenos Aires techno scene while he is also a co-organizing part and resident DJ of the Nucleo cycle. He came on our radar for the first time with his guest appearance for the French podcast series, Le Catalyste. Somehow we found each other blindly and it came to this collaboration.
UMA Soundsystem mainly spotlights some non-mainstream house and techno artists from the Argentinean underground scene in a steadily building hour of athletically muscled techno.
Thanks L. for your contribution. It has been an interesting introduction to some new techno from the metropolitan and subtropical city at the coastlines of Rio de la Plata.

Early MMR friend, DJ Fine, is a well known character in the Belgian jungle scene. He started collecting and spinning records as a teenager. He has always had a clear preference for Hip hop, jungle & breakcore but his ever growing collection shows us that he's collecting music across all borders of genres.

AZRA is the Walloon personality behind tonight's guest. His moniker comes from Azrael (/ˈæzriəl/), The Angel of Death in Islamic traditions. This Fallen Angel / Help of God came all the way to the north for a live studio mix.
What you will hear in the next hour is going to turn you upside down. Expect a kind of ecstatic incantation of occult mysticism, although we're not sure what we exactly experienced that night. It was somehow an agitating, radical brainfuck from the beginning till the last second. Going from free jazz to occult, experimental mindfuck something. AZRA handled the 4 available channels like a possessed creature with a obsessive preference for unconventional sounds.

Storm Ciara was raging over the lowlands but that cyclone wind wasn't much more than an Atlantic fart. Farts evaporate and the history books will never mention this baby storm. Tone, former MoustacheMusic member / founder and current curator of La Brisa Radio, counter attacked Ciara with a feather light and highly enjoyable breeze, straight from the sacred Island of the Gods.

The sword represents valor or courage and dates from an era before Christ. Our guest 'Vince Kuzanagi' must have found his inspiration in Japan somehow. First time ever we invite someone for the second time in one season. PiL got on our radar through the disquiet junto project. We kept an eye on him ever since and he even became our only Walloon friend. Our musical interests are closer than any other guest ever. A second contribution in one season seemed inevitable. We've been patiently trying to convince Xtraplex Records' label boss to come to Gent for a guest session. After a few years Laurentz unexpectedly accepted the request. He used to be one of those many musical facebook friends I shared conversations with without knowing how he looked like. That all changed after tonight. The limitlesly passionate label boss of one of my favorite Belgian underground labels finally has a face and a background story. In first place he's a producer but DJ Geniculate Ganglion is his moniker for when it happens he accepts a request for dj'ing. Laurentz, it was an honour to finally meet you and to share your favorite label tracks in this one hour 100% Xtraplex owned soundtrack. Note the unreleased tracks in the tracklist.

Autumn marks the transition between summer and winter. The shedding of the leaves turn northern countries into a colourful scenery as the days become shorter. Lot of people getting struck by a seasonal affective disorder or winter blues even though fall has this kind of magic.
Autumn, especially in poetry, has often been associated with melancholia. The possibilities and opportunities of summer are gone, and the chill of winter is on the horizon. Skies turn grey, the amount of usable daylight drops rapidly, and many people turn inward, both physically and mentally. It has been referred to as an unhealthy season.
It was about time to invite the Antwerp based ambient producer Autumna as winter soltice is slightly coming closer. Autumna describes perfectly the mood of fall with this one hour painting of sound.
Make yourself a hot coffee, get a blanket, lay yourself back turning the volume up to 10 and surrender to the inevitable winter blues.

Yoric Spick is the personality behind Jaquarius, the ever cheerful French acid rave kid to look out for. He's incredibly passionate and he has a limitless obsession with analogue machines, old science fiction movies and quirky socks. Last Saturday he was the international guest at the amazing Rave Alert concept in Gent. This was the ideal chance to invite him for a one hour MoustacheMusic Radio session on Sunday.
We always say to think out of the box whenever artists ask us what we would like to hear. Well, this one hour recording is the result of his interpreation. Expect a one hour IDM, braindance mix like a whirlwind with clear pinches of acid from the 303-box and carefully chosen samples from his favourite old sci-fi movies.
This is a masterpiece, made with passion, for passionate people.

We're always in search of fresh and passionate unknown artists and during one of my many online music digging sessions I stumbled upon PiL's contributions for the weekly Disquiet Junto label challenges. His organic sound immediately grabbed my attention. Steadily he's creating his own sound since I discovered him for the first time.
I always felt he has this broad interest in music, yet a clear and limitless passion for analogue machines. It was time to connect with him and invite him for a one hour session as I'm always on the lookout for passionate music freaks. PiL didn't hesitate much and he decided to come all the way up from Wallonia to do it live in the Urgent FM studio. I couldn't really know what to expect and I must admit he got my attention from the very first track. Don't miss this nicely build up session full of high quality tracks. Thanks for contributing. We had a great night. We definitely keep in touch. If not, I will keep a creeping eye on you. Until we meet again.
