Electronic music composer, digital artist and researcher based in the Netherlands.
In his music compositions and audiovisual performances, he uses custom digital technology to create complex binary landscapes, where detailed sound design and electronic rhythms are enhanced by multifaceted visuals providing a true immersive experience.
He is the author of the audiovisual series of works Green, False Awakenings, Go Back to Hiding in the Shadows and the recent Quickly Photographed and Released Unharmed. Through a series of collaborations he has created sound, visuals and software for audiovisual performances, interactive audiovisual installations, contemporary dance and theater, co-creating artworks such as Drowning, plplpl .pl, Mutual Wave Machine, Polaris, Anima, In Circles and Tune In.

Performance, 2012
Moving from side to side from now to now in a forever changing moment allowing consciousness to perform itself in a dance without an ego of a body without a mind which tunes into whatever is with no judgment.
Tune In is a solo performance by Lia Haraki.
In this performance the aim of the artist was to allow movement to be created from being, to silence the thinking mind and tune in to the breath and the beating heart. From a point of silence, the performer tunes in to the movement within and allows it to extend to the outside, embodying the everlasting present with her presence.
The artist was interested in exploring how motion brings emotion and how by witnessing this process one can reach a new state of being.

'I still don't know whether a protagonist of Lia Haraki's practice is herself or energy that makes the self happen. Or an energy that depersonalises us in an intimate act that discards the notion of a protagonist itself. Practicing electro-muscular vibration with her is where I would like to send most anxious visitors (those that fear of missing things out and keep following 'the next thing') of oO to. They could experiment with new states of collective embodied identity at the pace of the pulse.'

Quickly Photographed and Released Unharmed is a collection of generative audiovisual artworks by Pandelis Diamantides. The collection is part of Diamantides' ongoing research into the non-representational use of screens.
The collection reflects on our visually overstimulated environment. Diamantides seeks to create a direct experience with light and sound, using the screen as a medium rather than a representational canvas. The screen becomes a light source, inducing after-images in the vision of the viewer through rapid successions of light and colour. The works in the collection affect the intake of newer information through overstimulation.
The artworks carefully deploy light as a medium; after-images from previous frames are superimposed over newer frames in the vision of the viewer. This optical layering means that light patterns perceived by the eye and brain complement to the visual material currently presented on screen. By exploiting the neural mechanisms underlying visual perception the viewer becomes an integral part of the artwork, simultaneously the observer and the creator.

Relentless and unapologetic. Like rush hour traffic inside electric wires.
False awakenings is a blend of abstract rhythmical patterns, evolving ambient landscapes and detailed sound design. Audible generative structures provide the canvas for a visual interpretation of time - motion and memory. As a measure of disorder an immersive audiovisual world is created, a temporal construct of bass, light and colour.
Premiered at FIBER Festival, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 2015. Supported by the Amsterdam Fund for the Arts.
