Personal Pagan Theology

A group class based out of the Seattle area. I am cultivating a pagan personal theology study group / mastermind class. The aim of this class is to create structure for each participant to parse out their personal theology, and will cover topics like sabbats, esbats, how to cast a circle, what ritual tools you want to use, solitary practice vs. group practice. It will include a weekly conference call and a handful of in person practicas in the Seattle area as needed (folks further away are welcome to practice on their own and reflect with the group on how it went). There will be plenty of writing on your thoughts to assist you in capturing your personal theology. You need to acquire your own study materials, from the library or a bookseller. Right now, the only book is Scott Cunningham's "Living Wicca." (Roughly $2 used online, $10 for Kindle, and likely available in both used and new bookstores). I am open to adding additional materials as needed and as the group unfolds. Please also get a journal / writing utensil (book of shadows) or dedicate a google doc or word document to the recording of your thoughts. A note on accessability from multiple pagan perspecitves: though we are using a Wiccan book to guide our study, I myself am an eclectic, solitary practitioner, kitchen witch who also circles with reclaiming witches. It is my intention to adapt the structure in the book to serve broader pagan needs, while continuing to workshop it to make it more accessible to pagans of varying backgrounds. I, personally, do not identify as Wiccan, but I do appreciate the detail it provides for me to juxtaposition myself. This class will have room for up to 10 interested persons. We will meet via conference call once a week roughly 16 weeks. (Eventbrite is just displaying one date, but this will run multiple times with the same group). Since this group is facilitated over a free conference call service (TalkShoe), the meetings will be recorded. This allows for flexibility with attendance, since you can access the recordings after the call has finished. Participants must be comfortable with the recordings being shared within the group. I have no intention of sharing recordings outside of the group, though the study materials I develop will continue to be used in future groups / classes.
