Do you think that financial advice is expensive?
I do agree that financial advice is expensive, and it can be costly especially when we are on the wrong side of receiving it.
If a patient has been advised to take a medicine or treatment plan that not only will not relieve their symptoms but further compound their issues, then that's indeed very wrongful and expensive advice.
In this episode, we discuss this notion as I share a real-life story.
Have you ever received advice that surprises you in a way that is not pleasant? I was hoping you could share with me by sending a message to me.

Recent headlines full of topics like gold, cryptocurrency, certain stocks or sectors becoming ‘hot’ or seen remarkable growth.
This may have caused many people who were previously sitting on the fence about investing or putting money into certain speculative assets to fear that they are missing out on a golden opportunity to make more money.
When we are overly optimistic about something due to our past pleasant experiences, or certain trend, we tend to subject ourselves to overconfidence bias, as well as recency bias.
In any case, I think that this may not necessarily be good for our financial health. This episode is about why we have to give ourselves some space and 3 steps we can take to protect us from the emotion of fear of missing out.

Welcome back after a hiatus of nearly 2 and a half years!
I am relaunching the podcast and rename it to "The Financial Health Insights". The idea around this is that through the contents, I wish to support people to reduce money stress, so that they can start live better today and tomorrow.
So much has happened over the past couple of years. The world is changing, the way we work is evolving, financial market is also constantly going through changes as we live each day; one thing does not change is people are having too much on their plate when it comes to stress.
One of the major source of stress is about money. Money is so important in our life that it has constantly stay as the top major stress for us. When we have high financial stress, it is likely that this will affect other areas of our life over time.
Hence, it is indeed timely and important for us to start placing our attention on how to nurture, and keep good financial health for ourselves.
If you have any feedback, questions, suggestions, or you would like to work together or suggest someone to come to this podcast, let me know.

In conjunction with World Financial Planning Day (7th Oct 2020), Your Money, Your Life is launched to bring you contents that covers personal finance and life.
In this pilot episode, I talk about the reason this show is named Your Money, Your Life, and what are the 2 mindset we typically tend to view our relationship with money is.
In the first mindset, we view money as something that we need to live a life that is align to what we want for ourselves; while the second mindset is when we place money at the center stage and we plan our lives around it, in this situation, we live for money, and that is why we see people chase after money.
We also touch on the idea of 'more money = more happiness', and how we can avoid living for money.
