The township economy is dominant by consumption lent business and the unfortunately part is that the services and products sold in this sector of the economy are not really produced by businesses operating in this sector .Which means money created in this sector do not stay in the sector but it goes to businesses not operating in this sector of the economy. How can we really solve this problem? The biggest challenges that is faced by the township economy is lack of infrastructure both physical and soft infrastructure .We really need to be honestly if we really want the township economy work both us township inhabitants and the government.

Why do we buy the brands that I buy as a customer its because of race, price ,quality or simply because we believe on that company value proposition's. As a person passionate with the township economy sector which is predominantly black. I think its quite important that I voice my opinion on this topic. As a result I decided to record this podcast episode . My opinion is that for both the township economy and black businesses to to be successful and grow we will need to have a frank discussions about this matter. Lets be honest every time you go to the shops to buy a new product do you check where the product was manufactured and also Google if the business is black owned or not ?To be honest I don't think so and I have a ton of reasons why I hold that particular believe. Let have this critical discussion.
