Welcome to the Liam Maxwell Podcast! Here is a platform where I will be devoting my time to sharing uplifting, empowering self-development material designed specifically for human evolution/optimisation. Enjoy!!
Another podcast recorded by and of yours truly, whereby I read and add some extra commentary of some miniature essays I've written and over the past few years or so...
The topics covered in this podcast mostly relate to the theme of mass conditioning through means of manipulation, coercion, passive unquestioning acceptance of "truth", and how easily we might be persuaded, conditioned or convinced into holding certain views, which can quite easily (and often do) become deeply-held collective prejudices or cultural beliefs...
An account of Socrates' life and the absurdity of his death sentence, as according to A.C. Grayling, from his "History Of Philosophy", with small segments of my own two cents thrown in for good measure...
If more people were aware, or cared to think upon the fact that so much of how we live, how we think about the world, how we relate to things, what we value, even the different branches of learning which comprise education itself- we owe to Aristotle (and the early Greek philosophers who allowed for Aristotle's education and thereby helped him in realising the intellectual ideas and conceptualisations he eventually achieved and contributed to the world), and simply as a result of this one man and his philosophical inquiries and devotion to understanding all that it might be possible to understand- we now take for granted so much of what, if it were not for Aristotle- we depend upon for how we think and how the history, especially of the West, though so too for all of human civilization- has unfolded since...
Don't mind the photo of some gourmet sausages, avocado and broccolini I cooked once. It was the only photo I could find and I was too lazy to find another one so I just went with it. Love you all 💕
I created this today because I knew that the video I was watching on YouTube contained some incredibly important truths and knowledge that, if all human beings today understood, would completely change our perception of the world around us, and we would all benefit through the transformation of our current outlook of the world into a more connected, truthful way of looking at things, and ourselves... And therefore the world would become much more peaceful, we would treat each other properly, and we would be more loving towards others. Thanks for listening ❤️🙏
Today I created this podcast from a rural part of Brisbane, in some random bush I have never ventured into before and I sat down on a walking track and decided to make this podcast. Enjoy
❤️🙏✌️
This podcast is dedicated to all of my angels, a few of which I shall have you know today it is my Mother's birthday, my Aunty Carol (who was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer and will defeat it I am certain), and another (who I won't mention her name though she knows who she is).
I love you all. You give me the strength to persevere through the hardships of life when I wouldn't be able to do it on my own. You are love, and for that I thank you with infinite gratitude 🙏❤️
Today I had the privelege to sit down and chat with a young man named Cameron. As a fellow young man (I'm 24 and he's 19) who is doing all he can to live in alignment with and embody his highest potential as a man in this time on Earth, to see, hear and recognise another young man doing the same thing is incredibly uplifting, empowering, relieving, and it gives me a certain spiritual energetic boost I cannot describe in words. Have a listen, and learn (as I did) from this young leader, he has a massively positive future ahead of him 😊
In this podcast I discuss and read an excerpt out of a fascinating book I read recently that I highly, highly recommend. The title of the book is "How to change your mind- The new science of psychedelics" by Michael Pollan. It truly is a wonderfully written book. It's incredibly promising to see that these plant medicines, that were suppressed and kept mainly unavailable to the public by national governments around the world for so long, are now being shown to be super effective in relieving people of conditions such as depression, PTSD, anxiety and other mental health issues. I hope you can learn something new from this podcast and it helps you understand a little more about psychedelics and how promising the future is looking if we are to incorporate these medicines into our health system. Please enjoy 🙏✌️
In this episode of the podcast I talk about the importance of breathing in a proper way and how breathing properly can help to alleviate many forms of disease and dysfunction in our daily lives. I draw on excerpts from the book "Breath" by James Nestor and even take listeners through a small breathing practice designed to bring more conscious attention to the breath and therefore help us breathe better more frequently. Please enjoy 🙏🥰
PS I would love to hear your feedback so please feel free to comment your views on this podcast in the comments section. Any feedback is always greatly appreciated and I value your opinions! Thank you.
In this podcast I read from my library of essays, poems and short stories that I've written recently on my OneNote app. They are all written with the intent to evoke deep feelings within the reader/listener, so I hope one of these pieces can touch your heart in some way. Please enjoy 🤗❤️🙏
In this podcast I read the introduction to "The way of the superior man" by David Deida, and share my thoughts on what manhood has become in this day and age. Enjoy 🙏✌️
In this podcast I will discuss and read the introduction of Dr Mark Hyman's must-read book "Food Fix", published in 2020, and how alarming some of the facts are that the massive global food corporations are genuinely funding manipulation-based strategies to misinform the public and keep us in an unhealthy, disease-stricken state, lest we all stand up and fight for our health. This podcast may disturb you with some of the information it reveals, though it is my intention to use this data as a catalyst for us to all take our power back, start doing what we can and eating healthy, whole, organic foods that will nourish us and sustain our health for the rest of our lives. Please enjoy 🙏❤️
In this podcast I read a few different short essays I wrote within the past 6 months, whilst some (somewhat trippy) meditation music plays on a CD in the background. I hope what I have to say can benefit you or even inspire you in some way, for that is the purpose of me mentioning them on the podcast. Please enjoy 🙏
In this podcast I read a chapter from Charles Eisenstein's latest book "The more beautiful world our hearts know is possible." This chapter contains a wide variety of topics, subjects and concepts though I am positive that the underlying message contained within it is something that will touch your heart and inspire you to create healthy, loving and sustainable future choices. We are at a time in history on planet Earth in which a huge shift in how we live must take place almost immediately if we are to not destroy the planet and ourselves.. Though that may sound like a bleak statement, it can also be used as a catalyst for us all to seek new opportunities for evoking positive change in our lives and the world around us, helping heal the planet as well as bringing a more beautiful world (that we all know is possible) to fruition! Enjoy 🙏🥰
In this podcast I will be taking you through a guided meditative experience designed to increase your present moment awareness. Many people are of the opinion that meditation is only about ceasing to think thoughts. This is not so. Meditation is a very versatile practice, and here I show you how you can meditate on something such as a quote, tapping into the feelings it brings up within you and simply pondering the meaning of the quote. Enjoy!!
In this episode I have a couple of essay drafts that I wrote recently and am sharing them with you. I hope what I have to say evokes a feeling of wanting to bring about positive change into the world that we all inhabit (Mother Earth could do with some love!). Enjoy guys, much love ❤️🙏
In this podcast I will run you through a couple of simple and effective preparatory meditations which will enable you to feel light, calm and relaxed. Enjoy 😊
In this podcast I share some of my favourite philosophical quotes (and a few of my own). Peace be with you 😊
In this podcast I read a short essay that I wrote earlier today on enlightenment- but not before first warning the listener that if they are not to approach listening to this podcast with an open mind, (that is being perceptible to truth) then they may as well not listen at all as what I have to say won't help in any way, shape or form. And since this podcast is all about self-development and evolution on all levels- if what I have to say can't help you then what is the point in you listening? Peace, love, and may you enjoy the podcast 😇
In this episode I read a small excerpt out of the book entitled "Flow- The Psychology of Optimal Experience" by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, that was published in 1980 but is still as relevant today as it ever was. Enjoy 🤠
In this podcast I guide you through a loving-kindess meditation from the book "This is Happening" by Rohan Gunatillake. I felt so much more at peach and in a state of love after I completed this meditation so I thought why not share it with you guys ❤️❤️
Unfortunately I'm limited to 15 minutes in this episode (I wasn't aware of that as you will be able to tell by the way this podcast ends abruptly) but I believe what I did have to say will be of benefit to a lot of you. I'm always open to feedback so please let me know what you think of what I had to say here, if there's any topics you'd like me to talk about feel free to ask me and if I think I have something worth sharing on that topic that may benefit people in some way I will be happy to make a podcast about it 😊 Anyway, please enjoy this podcast ✌️🙏🏼
In this episode my good friend Jesse and I discuss a wide range of topics in the endeavour to better ourselves and those who may be willing to learn from any of the things we had to say. Unfortunately my phone died and we got cut off but it's still a worthwhile listen and we hope you can benefit from our conversation!
In this podcast I start by asking "questions to wake up the soul". I then read an essay I wrote the previous evening and hope that I can inspire one or more of you to strive to become the best version of yourself that you can possibly be. Peace and love ❤️
In this episode I will be reading an excerpt out of Ken Wilber's book, "Integral Psychology". I believe this book, published at the turn of the millenium in the year 2000, is still one of the most comprehensive, all encompassing views on consciousness and psychology in general. Enjoy the episode, thanks heaps for listening !!
In this episode I will outline my opinion of what the highest form of current human evolution is in the 21st century and how we can evolve and create a Utopian paradise here on planet Earth.
In this episode I will be explaining why it is imperative for us to cultivate more conscious awareness and I even take you through a guided meditation for doing so. I then go off on a random tangent about philosophy (this podcast wasn't planned I just decided to start talking and record it lol). I hope you enjoy what I had to say!
In this episode (episode 3) I will be reading another incredible passage from Dr Joe Dispenza's book "Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself" and helping you understand what your true soul mission is in this life. Nothing that will ever bring us true happiness is found outside of ourselves. The key is to look within.
In this episode of the podcast (episode 2) I will be reading an essay I wrote on how we all have the innate ability within us to consciously manifest our future, and why it is imperative to study history in order to learn more about how human beings function and how we are able to learn from our previous mistakes to enable us to create a Utopian future. Enjoy!
In this episode I'll be outlining what the aim for this podcast is, and also delving into a little bit of Quantum Physics by reading a small excerpt out of Dr Joe Dispenza's book "Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself." Enjoy!
