Application Point: As we wait on God to faithfully fulfill his Word, we must put our trust
and confidence in the Lord and not rely on our own understanding.

Text: Habakkuk 1:5–2:1
Habakkuk is disappointed that God does not seem to be
answering his prayers; but God’s response indicates that, unbeknownst to the prophet,
he has already begun answering them, though not according to Habakkuk’s
expectations.
Application :We must let go of our expectations of how God should work in this
world or how he should answer our prayers.

The law can be summed up in the single command to “love your neighbor as yourself.” The only way to be able to fulfill this command is to place our trust in Jesus Christ.
Jesus’ message to the rich young ruler was not necessarily about his money, but about his love for himself. Real love denies self for the sake of others, just like Jesus did for us to be saved.

The Philippian church served and supported Paul during his time of struggle, even while going through their own times of trial. Application Point: We will serve others even when we are going through our own times of struggle.
Faithfulness, Forgiveness: Joseph was faithful to God and others even when he was wronged, showing forgiveness and maturity in times of struggle.
Application Point: We will remain faithful to who God wants us to be during times of struggle and persecution.

God is our shepherd, and guides and protects us in the valleys of life. Application Point: We will learn to trust God in our times of struggle and weakness.

God uses trials and struggle in life to grow us and squeeze lemonade from the lemons of life. We will use the “lemons” of life to allow God to grow us into the people he desires us to be.

We are given a new heart a new way of thinking a change of mind when we cone to God accepting His Son and asking for forgiveness. Becoming transformed by a new birth in Jesus Christ.
