Discussions lead by Level 3, Certified CrossFit Trainer, CrossFit Seminar Staff team member and former affiliate owner, Jeremy Graves. Each week we bring a new topic to the table that leads to you being a better Trainer. Whether you are an aspiring trainer, newer coach or even an experienced veteran, we believe these talks will provide you with endless value. Whether you subscribe to CrossFit Methods, or follow something else, connecting with you clients and helping them change their lives for the better is still the main goal of ANY great Trainer!
What's the main difference between these two training approaches?
Which is the better approach for you?
You should show compassion and empathy for everyone you encounter until they give you a reason not to in my opinion.
When people you care about are engaging in self-destructive behavior, you have a duty to help if asked.
There are many factors that influence an individual's physical condition that we will discuss in detail (Genetics, hormones, metabolism, medications, psychology, nutrition, and physical activity). Some of these we can influence, and some we can't.
To suggest that A, there are no inherent risks related to clinical obesity, and B, that there isn't anything that can be done about it anyways so why address it is criminal and will cost people their lives.
I will not participate in pushing this narrative.
I care about people and the quality of the life they lead. If you are happy and content, more power to you. But, if you want to make changes, I would like to offer support knowing the benefit of the effort!
Let's talk about "FITNESS"....
What do you mean when you say someone is Fit?
What do I mean?
Do we mean the same thing? Are we even talking about the same thing?
Let's define some terms to make sure!

As always, thanks you so much for listening!
Uncoachable athletes....
Regardless of how you feel about that, you know who I'm talking about.
Is this on the athlete, or the coach? Well, it depends. Let's talk about it.
We discuss our opinions on the subject and identify different ways to work through it.
