Are you tired of applying to L&D jobs and only getting rejections (or even worse, hearing NOTHING at all)?
Chances are you're unintentionally putting yourself into what I like to call the "viscous application cycle." You apply for dozens of L&D roles (probably ones your unsure of or even overqualified for), only to receive rejection after rejection. You start to think..."If I'm not getting interviews for THESE roles, what AM I qualified to do?" and you continue down the path of throwing spaghetti at the wall, hoping that one of these roles (that you probably aren't even that jazzed about) calls you in for an interview! WOW, I'm exhausted just THINKING about that cycle. 😴
The thing is, some of the well-meaning advice out there is actually perpetuating this cycle. Advice like: ❌ The more jobs you apply to, the more interviews you'll get ❌ Tailor your resume to every single role you apply to ❌ You need to take "XYZ" course in order to be ready for a corporate L&D role
...And so many more.
