Linda is currently receiving counseling in her psychiatrist's office when her multiple personalities start to interrupt the sessions as Dr. Walker attempts to maintain control. Linda has to gain control over her personality so she won't be committed to a mental institution and lose custody of her own children to child welfare. Birdie tries to assist Dr. Walker, but Linda doesn't trust her.
Vivian Dorsett (Playwright) Vivian is a college instructor and has produced and directed theater at a collegiate and community level. Her most recent acting debut in Community Theater was Vagina Monologues. Most of her playwriting is based on social justice and represents marginalized populations.
Carrie Wesolowski (Linda): A career woman with multiple personalities-- Penny, a surly teenager, and Veronica, an angry, aggressive adult.
Born and raised in NYC, Carrie's a co-host of AirPlay and regular contributor to AirPlay as Actor/Director. Carrie's recent credits include directing the opera The Bird Lady at The National Opera Center, playing Mandy in Theater for the New City's Dermalogic and directing and playing the female lead Destiny in Simon Says, a finalist in Playbill VTF Live and Manhattan Rep's Stories Film Festival. Beth Griffith (Birdie) Linda’s biological mother who has a 7th grade education and has been emotionally absent throughout Linda’s life.

Mary Tierney (Mary) Mary started her acting career in Dublin, where she worked for five years. After returning to NYC she started her own theater, The BillyMunk and the last three decades she spent at Theater for the New City.

Television, and Film, her resume includes many Off-Broadway credits. She also spent many years in regional theaters, including playing Dolly Levi in Hello Dolly 11 times, and was in Music Man; Funny Girl, Cabaret; Best Little Whorehouse, 42nd Street. Fiddler;Gypsy just to name a few….

Félix E. Gardón (Jose Ferrer) Félix is a native Puerto Rican actor/artist/activist who was the artistic director and board chair of Los 4 Gatos Theater Company, a bilingual Puerto Rican troupe supported by Pregones theater. He has performed and worked with the Medicine Show Theater show since 2000. Felix is also an abstract artist, student of the late master modern art painter Omiros Hriso, and works in the mediums of acrylic and Polaroid manipulation.

Reindeer Trouble: Poor Dwinky the Elf is having trouble with his reindeer, which seems to have taken a time out on account of something that looks suspiciously like death. Pinkle, a service-elf from Rudolph's Reindeer Repair, has come to check out the situation, but is not able to provide much help.

One of Picasso's Women, Marie Therese Walter is dead but currently inhabiting the body that she died with! She can recall any element of her past but tends to do so with the thoughts and feelings of that particular moment. Contrary to much perceived (male) opinion, Marie-Therese is a gentle, likeable woman who always wants to think the best of everyone. This piece is a bit like the overlapping facet or perspective in a cubist painting. Incidents, motifs, & versions of events appear and re-appear.
Brian McAvera (Playwright) Dramatist, Director, Curator and Art Historian, Brian has written 25 stage plays, radio plays for the BBC and RTE (many of them translated) and two television films, one of which he directed. He has directed for the stage, including the world premiere of John Arden’s The Ballygombeen Bequest, and was co-founder of New Writers’ Theatre in Belfast in the early 1980s. His best-known plays (published by Oberon Books) include Picasso’s Women, a series of eight monologues first performed at the National Theatre in London, and at the Edinburgh Festival. They have since been translated into 15 languages. He is an artistic adviser to Focus Theatre, Dublin, and sits on the theatre committee of the Writers’ Guild. In the world of visual arts, he has published 12 books including Art, Politics and Ireland. He writes regularly for the Irish Arts Review and Sculpture (in the USA).

very odd about her dad’s recent disappearance. At their holiday feast, the girls have a feeling there could have been foul play. With the help of her older sister Katharine, Mary feels obliged to find out the truth to save the memory of her father’s honor.
Coni Koepfinger (Playwright) Coni Koepfinger, a 2021 recipient of the Olwen Wymark Award by the Writer's Guild of Great Britain, is currently playwright-in-residence at both Manhattan Rep and Cosmic Orchid and has worked with several other notable NYC companies such as Theatre for the New City, The Secret Theatre, the New York Unfringed Fest, Broadway Bound Festival and Pan Asian Rep. She is a member of the Dramatist Guild, a former board member of the International Centre for Women Playwrights and a chair for the League Professional Theatre Women and currently sits as Media Advisory Board of the Lifeboat Foundation. As a very prolific indie artist, Coni’s work has been published and produced all over the globe. Her newest play “Live from the Bardo: My Dinner with Mary” with legendary director Dan Carter will premiere January 2022 with an AEA Off-Off Broadway showcase at Théater for the New City.

Padmini Sukumaran (Narrator) Padmini Sukumaran has an English Literature Doctorate and wrote her Dissertation partially on the Shakespearean depiction of the Baroque-Metaphor, "The World is a Stage" in A Midsummer Night's Dream. She has trained in Acting and Musical-Theatre at the HB Studio and The Acting Studio - New York. Padmini also deems that Drama is a beautiful vehicle for channeling our Psychological-Vulnerability: both the light and the dark.

Dean Bevan - PLAYWIGHT
Dean Bevan has written 24 plays in the past 15 years, which have been performed in New York, London, and in 20 cities across the US from Florida to California, Alaska to Virginia, including his own Lawrence, Kansas. His plays have won numerous awards. During the same period, Bevan has also been active on stage, appearing in 36 plays and musicals in roles including Norman Thayer in On Golden Pond, Vladimir in Waiting for Godot, and FDR in Annie. He has also directed ten plays. He earned the Ph.D. from the University of Kansas, and served as Professor of English and Director of Creative Writing at Baker University.

Carrie studied acting with Michael Harney, Phil Gushee and Joe Anania. Carrie hosted Movie Talk Show from 2014-2018 and served as its Associate Producer, giving indie actors, writers, and directors a platform for their work. Carrie is thrilled to once again be a finalist in Manhattan Rep’s Stories Film Festival. Her work as Director/Actor in Coni Koepfinger’s The Unusual Chauncey Faust was most recently seen as part of Manhattan Rep's STORIES Film Festival. Upcoming projects include directing The Bird Lady at The National Opera Center. It's always such a joy for Carrie co-hosting, directing, and acting on AirPlay.
Sharon Barnett, who wrote the lyrics and co-wrote the music and book with Michael McFrederick and Adam Shorsten, respectively, told Playbill.com that she has a very personal connection to the old club, which stood at 267 Bowery, today the site of a German restaurant. “My father, Mark Barnett, was one of the emcees. The emcees would always wear top hats. My father was a singer and a dancer, told jokes, and often also did the scenery. My sister Marcelle and I grew up in this club. As children we also sometimes performed as a sister act, doing show tunes and such, and we often sang with my dad. We were children, and we loved it.”
She put all those memories into her show, Sammy’s Bowery Follies, which she described as ”a new feel-good musical, set in the 1940s, about a young man who returns from the war seeking fortune, and his name in lights at the renowned nightclub Sammy’s Bowery Foll
Show Synopsis: ACT I, SCENE 1 OF ELECTRIC SERENADE
Down, despondent, and a little drunk over the seeming end of a long-term relationship, Joanna is at her lowest point while at a friend’s anniversary party when in walks Mark. Immediately she vents her frustrations to him before they formally introduce themselves to each other, and he tries to lift her spirits with empathy and encouragement. They get to know each other as she expresses her hopes and dreams and he talks about his own aspirations. They become acquainted by the end of the scene, and their budding relationship will take more twists and turns over the course of the play before unforeseen events bring Joanna to a crossroads at play’s end.

Born and raised in NYC, Carrie Wesolowski is a NYC-based Actor, Director, Host, and Singer who is a seasoned film, television, theatre and now Zoom actor. Carrie studied acting with Michael Harney, Phil Gushee and Joe Anania. Carrie hosted Movie Talk Show from 2014-2018 and served as its Associate Producer, giving indie actors, writers, and directors a platform for their work. Juan Perez (Mark)
Juan studied film, theater, and acting at New York University, Brooklyn College, and Michael Howard Studios. He has performed in theatrical and cinematic productions for over a decade. Theatrically, he has performed in productions including ‘A View from the Bridge,’ ‘Wait Until Dark,’ and ‘Pulp Shakespeare.’ In video productions, Juan parlayed his memorable performance as Bernardo in ‘Jose’s Place,’ into the uniquely manic lead in ‘La Casa Loca’(Maverick Entertainment). Juan currently produces videos for corporate clients and artists in Los Angeles. Juan was most recently seen in the NYC production of Still, Birth.
Robert Kirkendall (Playwright)
Robert Kirkendall grew up in San Jose, California, and presently lives over the hill in Santa Cruz. He was a member of the Briefly Scene playwriting workshop where he developed a number of scripts, and his short plays have been performed at Actors’ Theater of Santa Cruz and Community Television of Santa Cruz. Last February, his two-act workplace drama Dermalogic was performed as part of Theater for the New City’s On the Air series and Robert hopes to someday give it a fully-staged production. He is currently co-writing a screenplay named Twenty with director Hilary Davidson for Nineteen85 Films, and has written a screenplay he plans to direct about a man trying to escape Santa Cruz called Leaving Paradise. Byron C. Saunders (Narrator)
Byron is an Arts Management Consultant / Actor / Director / Producer / Dramaturge / Historian Byron’s highlights and many credits currently include working as an independent Arts Management Consultant helping artists and arts organizations with grants administration, fund development, marketing, public relations, event planning, and capacity growth and development. Based in Washington, DC…most recently, he produced a theatrical/film short…SIMON SAYS…as a finalist for the 1st Annual Playbill Virtual Theater Festival 2020; and directed The Fannie Lou Hamer Story an award winning theatrical production starring Mzuri Moyo Aimbaye; and he was the Acting Assistant Director at the Louis Armstrong House Museum located in Corona, NYC. Other recent credits include…Director of the Best Play of the 2016 One Festival – Marlene Goes to Hollywood; Mohandas K. Gandhi in the production of Peace Speaks; Dr. A.C. Jackson in the production of Black Wall Street: The Story of the 1921 Tulsa, OK Race Riots. In New York City, he was the Executive Director of the Frank Silvera Writer’s Workshop and won an Obie Award for Playwriting Development.
RACHEL RUBIN LADUTKE (Playwright) has written full-length plays, 2 musicals, and numerous short pieces, many of which have been excerpted in monologue and scene anthologies. Last winter, THE WICKHAM WAY was selected for inclusion in the inaugural New Works VIrtual Festival, a series of plays recorded by prominent actors and aired as a benefit for The Actors' Fund. Last March THE UNDERSTANDING, her play about the legacy of Argentina's Dirty War, was streamed as a successful fundraiser for the North NJ chapter of Amnesty International. Her newest full-length play, RICHMOND UNDERGROUND is about a ring of Union spies operating in the heart of the Confederacy. Rachel holds an M.A. in Theater from Hunter College. She is a proud member of New Play Exchange, Playwright's Center, The Dramatists' Guild and the International Centre for Women Playwrights. Along with most of this wonderful cas, she is hard at work on a full demo recording of NERISSA'S QUEST!

MARISA DOLKART (Fionnuala) has been an active member of the Northern New Jersey theater community since moving to the area from the Finger Lakes Region of NY in 2002 She is currently a member of the Bergen County Players and The Players Guild of Leonia. She has also worked with Elmwood Playhouse (Nyack, NY) and as a wardrobe assistant for Menopause the Musical in NYC with the 92nd StreetPlayhouse. She is a costume designer and stage manager, who has costumed designed/dressed more than 2 dozen shows (a Perry Award nominee for Costume Design for The Man Who Came to Dinner), and recently ventured into lighting design. She has been seen locally onstage in Closer Than Ever, The Secret Garden (Ayah/Fakir), The Pajama Game (Virginia), Lovers and Other Strangers (Joan), Ballroom (Diane), Murder at Café Noir (Maria LaRue), The Actor's Nightmare (Loralee) and in The Vagina Monologues. She is very excited to participate in Nerissa's Quest, and honored to be a part of it.

Lexi has performed in many children's plays with Studio Playhouse in Montclair. Lexi is also a competitive dancer and has participated in the Paper Mill Playhouse summer conservatory program. She is currently a junior at Montclair High School.
LOU ANN SALKIN (Shannon) holds a Master of Fine Arts in acting from the Asolo Conservatory/Florida State University. Upon graduation, she performed in regional theater and at Radio City Music Hall. She has worked in New York professional theater for over 30 year and has recently reignited her love of performing through New Jersey community theater. She is a 2015 Perry Award Nominee for Outstanding Leading Actress.With her daughter, Veronica, she founded Eccentric Theater Company (ETC.), which is a collection of artists dedicated to pushing the boundaries of a standard theater company. ETC. combines the fast-paced nature of professional artistic work with the warm environment of community theater to produce skillful art created with love. Past productions have included Doubt, Company, Sweeney Todd, The Importance of Being Earnest, Zamboni and over 30 digital performances during this pandemic.
Kay Koch (Roan) is happy to collaborate with Rachel Ladutke once again, having previously appeared in her original play The Wickham Way. A New Jersey -based actress with a passion for musical theater and storytelling, Kay has been fortunate to work at a number of local theaters throughout the area. She most recently appeared this past weekend with Apricot Sky Productions in their September 11th original play festival, "Catch the Morning." She has also conceived and produced the Asian Americans in Theatre: Art and Activism series at Asia Society and Barnard. Marina's excited to share with you this utterly ridiculous play, which she swears is by far the worst play she's ever written!
Neil Chan (Director):
Neil Chan, a blooming Boomer, is versed in the ancient methods of filmmaking, cutting and taping film by hand, etc. He’s done some work as writer, producer, director, editor and actor in TV and films in the US and France—most notably Erich Rohmer’s The Aviator's Wife, in which Neil wrote and acted a part. Other credits include a Hong Kong film with Chow Yun-Fat and even a Japanese-themed Puerto Rican soap opera, in which he played a rickshaw boy. Bad casting. This is his first “garbage play.” Wish him luck.

Anne’s first full-length play FROM SILENCE, the journey of a Holocaust survivor finding her voice, was produced in NYC at THE THEATER FOR THE NEW CITY in 2016, at MLT 2017, THE MUSEUM OF JEWISH HERITAGE in NYC 2018 directed by Arin Arbus. staged at GLOUCESTER STAGE 2019 and produced by COTTEY COLLEGE near Kansas City in 2020. RECOVERY, the struggle of three sets of mothers and their daughters with the disease of addiction was staged at BOSTON PLAYWRIGHT’S THEATRE, produced in NYC at THEATER FOR THE NEW CITY Oct 2018, north of Boston at MLT in Oct. 2019, BILLERICA POLICE PARTNERSHIP Dec. 2019 , and in Greece at FACTA NON-VERBA THEATER COMPANY, in Greek MARCH 2020. RECOVERY won three MASS CULTURAL COUNCIL GRANTS. SAY THE NAME, was staged at Harvard University and used as a text in the Divinity School. The nine commissioned musicals she has written have played to sold out crowds at MLT for 11 years. The most recent was a Vimeo offering this summer. One act plays ‘Dearest Dove’, ‘Legacy of the Hanging Judge’, ‘Spirits of the Gables’ have run annually for 20 years at THE HOUSE OF THE SEVEN GABLES in Salem. Other 10min. plays have been produced in the Boston area (including BTM) & NYC Equity theaters.. She was a professor of Drama at Salem State University 2000-2011. Anne began acting as a child, trained in London in the 3 year diploma class at The Webber Douglas and Royal College of Music, regional rep Cleveland Playhouse, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park before working in NYC for 10 Years as an Equity Actress. Anne lives in Marblehead, MA and has two daughters.

LINDA S. NELSON is an Actor, Director, Dramaturge and Producer.
As an actor, Ms. Nelson has predominately been seen on stage, including Off Broadway, Off-Off Broadway, Regional Theatre, and with companies such as Whitehorse Theatre, Oberon Theatre Ensemble, Boomerang Theatre and NJ Rep. Her Film and TV credits include “Imaginary Heroes” with Sigorney Weaver, "Orange Is The New Black", “Seven Deadly Sins” and the award winning short film “Lipstick Ladies”.
In addition to directing dozens of readings, short plays and 24-Hour Festivals for companies such as Boomerang, TRU, Oberon, and New Light Theatre, her New York directing credits include Toast, Boast or Roast – A Tribute to Austin Pendleton featuring Olympia Dukakis, Louis Zorich, F. Murray Abraham, Dylan Baker and Becky Ann Baker at the Players Club, produced by Oberon Theatre Ensemble; Tongue of a Bird by Ellen McLaughlin; The Necessary Disposal by Bob Ost; and the Backstage Bistro Award winning Three Tenors in Search of an Act. Founder of Shotgun Productions, she served as its Producing Director for 19 years and produced theatre, dance, opera and classical concerts throughout the New York area and in Europe. Since leaving Shotgun she has independently produced plays in NYC and on tour throughout the US. She was an Associate Producer on the Off Broadway production of “Silence” the musical parody of “Silence of the Lambs”. Currently she represents the multi-award winning “Sweet Texas Reckoning” by Traci Godfrey and the solo performance “Vietnam…through my lens” written and performed by Stu Richel. With “Vietnam…” she started as its dramaturge, then produced and directed the NYC Premiere in 2014 and has continued as its producer/director of the tour, which has been running since then. “Vietnam…” was also made into a film last summer by Two Seas TV, on which she worked as the AD to the Emmy Award winning director, Tony Ceglio.

Vivian C. Lermond (Playwright) Vivian is an award-winning playwright who has penned more than 100 plays and monologues that have entertained audiences in the US, Mexico, England, Scotland, Canada and Australia. Her full length drama/comedy, Back to Bethlehem (PA), premiered Off-Broadway in 2006 at the Manhattan Theatre Club. In addition to her stage plays, Vivian has also written two full length screenplays that were awarded first place in two highly competitive screenwriting contests. She has taught playwriting at a local college and has facilitated playwriting workshops at writing conferences. Vivian has lent her talents to Gallagher Literary, an LA talent management company, where she evaluated pitches and screenplay submissions. She has also freelanced for a filmwriter.com, where she was a script analysis specialist for stage plays. Vivian has been a proud member of The Dramatists Guild since 1998.
Synopsis: In this surrealist one-act, Chauncey Faust, a very aggressive, out-of-work television actor, is about to enter into a business partnership that he thinks will be the opportunity of a lifetime. Although very lucrative financially, it may cost him his soul. His new business associate, Mr. Stuart Morgan, has created a one-of-a-kind service. The play opens with a dream job interview that quickly turns into a nightmare.
Coni Koepfinger (Playwright) Artist and Educator, Coni Koepfinger is the host of AIRPLAY, a weekly virtual theatre program now in its 12th season that brings the voices of artists, actors, playwrights from all over the world together. Also via new media, Koepfinger has created DETERMINED WOMEN, a monthly feature that interviews women who share stories to encourage and inspire. In addition to teaching theatre and composition, Koepfinger is an internationally published and produced playwright and theorist. As a Media Advisor for the Lifeboat Foundation, her play Get the Message was in their Visions of the Future anthology 2016. Coni is a former board member of the International Center for Women Playwrights/ ICWP and committee chair for the League of Professional Theatre Women /LPTW. Recent work includes three new powerful pieces with her writing partner Joe Izen: including Eve of Beltane, Broadway Bound Festival (2019),; Schoolhouse (2015) and the first musical to usher in the singularity, Kingdom Come (2020). She has written well over 40 plays, short stories, books and commissions such as Takin’ It Back a ten minute play for THE ME TOO PROJECT in Harlem, and Playing House a commissioned one-act about Bella Abzug for the UNTOLD STORIES OF JEWISH WOMEN and Playing Fate which was accepted for New Blood Series at Theatre for the New City. Now in 2021, Koepfinger’s work is virtually shown all over the globe, My Dinner with Mary which was read online for The Producer’s Circle and was then streamed live from The Player’s Club in NYC in TNC’s ON AIR podcast. It will be produced in the Dream Up Festival in 2021 at TNC. Claude Isbell (Chauncey Faust) Claude Isbell started out as a child actor, doing both TV commercials and theater from the age of 4. He and his sister did modeling work as well all over NYC, appearing in the New York Times magazine and many others. He was a musician and songwriter in NYC, before going into business. After studying acting with teachers such as Austin Pendleton, he has recently gotten the Theater and Film bug back, and is making a Web Series called CYRUS that is in pre-production. During the Strawberry One-Act Festival his “Making-Of” film garnered him a “Best Director” nomination.

She is resident playwright for Mountain Spirit Puppets and has received three Kentucky Foundation for Women (KFW) grants and was honored to be the recipient of the 2011 Sallie Bingham Award from KFW. With an MFA from the National University of Ireland in Galway, she has appeared in several Irish television shows including An Klondike and Jack Taylor (both available on Netflix). Recent stage performances include Harvey and South Pacific.
Jacqueline Youm is a Senegalese American actor, lawyer, and French|English|Spanish teacher. She also coaches mediation and negotiation. She thanks her family & friends for continuously listening to her acting wails and tears. Marina Rebecca Chan is a Brooklyn-based performer, playwright (Dramatists Guild member) and producer. A graduate of Columbia University with a Drama & Theatre Arts major and playwriting concentration, Marina went on to conceive and produce the Asian Americans in Theatre: Art and Activism panel discussion series at Asia Society and Barnard College, involving theater scholars and professionals—including Tony Award winners David Henry Hwang and Bartlett Sher—examining issues of diversity, equity and inclusion. Post-series, Marina refocused on her training in singing (she’s a recipient of Columbia’s Dolan Prize for Voice), dance (professional credits include Il Re Pastore in the Mostly Mozart Festival at Lincoln Center, and the Family Matters Series at Dance Theater Workshop) and acting. Marina also completed a rigorous rewrite of her play Elizabeth’s Wonderland, two readings of which (one staged and one on Zoom) she has produced, cast, directed and starred in. “I Drive Killer 65” is the central piece of a collection of short plays called, appropriately, I Drive Killer 65 and Other Stories.” The plays address male/female relationships from a variety of angles. This play is named for Ohio River Boulevard, Route 65, a major commuting route from the northern suburbs to Downtown Pittsburgh. Once one of the most dangerous roads in Pennsylvania, its drivers bore the bumper sticker “Pray for Me – I Drive Killer 65.”In “I Drive Killer 65,” Woman has left her home in San Francisco to follow Man to Pittsburgh, where he has taken a very good job. The struggle of the long drive from coast to almost coast, coupled with the uniquely challenging driving conditions in Pittsburgh, the play uses the couple’s driving habits and vehicle choices to show a relationship on the brink.

Marjorie Stewart teaches English composition, journalism, and creative writing at Glenville State College in Glenville, West Virginia. She holds a PhD in English composition from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and MFA in fiction from the University of Pittsburgh, and a BA in English literature from Duquesne University. Marjie is a playwright with 21 productions of her work, mostly in the Pittsburgh area, where she had a production in each of the first 10 years of the Pittsburgh New Works Festival. She has had three plays produced at Glenville State College: Winter Solstice, Murder at Musty Meadows Manor, and Till Death Do Us Part. She started out as an opera singer, winning the prestigious Metropolitan Opera Auditions on the West Coast. Unable to keep a straight face with opera, she wrote a stand up act and decided to get into the comedy world. While at world famous Comedy Store in Los Angeles, she developed a one-and-a-half woman show, Diva Takes a Dive, which she toured around the country.
Karen has written and performed musical theatre, comedy material, music and lyrics for several musicals, HBO Comedy Specials, Showtime, and nationally syndicated television. She has appeared and starred in many movies and television series. She has also written and composed for the Emmy Award-winning children's television show Zoobilee Zoo, in which she starred as a half human cockatoo with Ben Vereen.

Bio: Padmini Sukumaran is well-versed in Drama and Theatre: from various Angles and Dimensions! She has an English Literature Doctorate and wrote her Dissertation partially on the Shakespearean depiction of the Baroque-Metaphor, "The World is a Stage" in A Midsummer Night's Dream. Padmini has performed as Shelly in Chelsea Repertory Company's production of Michael Weller's Moonchildren and in the Lead-Role of Sally in HB Studio's production of Harold Pinter's Absurdist-Play, Night School. She has trained in Acting and Musical-Theatre at the HB Studio and The Acting Studio - New York and takes Private Acting and Voice Lessons. Padmini truly enjoys continuing to train in Acting and Musical-Theatre; and believes from the bottom-of-her-heart that training is a lifelong endeavor! She also deems that Drama is a beautiful vehicle for channeling our Psychological-Vulnerability: both the light and the dark.

Mary Tierney started her professional acting career in 1971 in Dublin at Ireland’s National Theater, The Abbey’s experimental wing, The Peacock and from that continued to work for five years in Ireland; culminating in Dublin’s first rock musical, Stephanie by Emerson college graduate, Russell Mason. Upon returning to New York, her role as Josie, in Walter Macken’s Home is the Hero which ran for six months as the Irish Arts Center. The success of that play has a ripple effect; Moss Cooney, Cork city immigrant restaurant entrepreneur, built a theater above his BillyMunk restaurant on 45th Street just off Second Avenue for the play; redirected by Barbara Loden, thus starting the BillyMunk, non-for-profit
resident company.
At the suggestion of Barbara, Mary started directing there; a Sean O’Casey One Act Play Festival. From there she branded out to create New York’s first Lunchtime Series at the Quaigh with The Sea Plays of Eugene O’Neill starring William Hickey, Brian Dennehy and Jim DeMarse. Lunchtime continued until 1982 with the highlight being Samuel Beckett’s Krapp’s Last Tape with Billy Hickey. Also at the Quaigh, Mary earned her Actor’s Equity Association membership with British author David Pownall’s Livingston & Sechele in 1983.
On a personal note marriage to Dublin born UN peacekeeper in 1985 created a nearly 20 year hiatus in theater as Life became visiting war zones and having the privilege of being in the historic dismantling of apartheid in South Africa; where she lived on and off for two years while the UN sponsored elections made Nelson Mandela President 1994. To witness the effect of post war and democratic elections; 1989 -1990 in Namibia, then South Africa and finally in 1999, East Timor’s struggles and a dramatic defeat, by the UN election team, of Indonesia’s attempt at total sabotage was well worth intermittent acting/directing work. The UN world & the theater world happily collided with her husband’s final mission, UNFICYP, in Cyprus. There, Mufflon Bookshop and The Weaving Mill, brought the newly discovered and published Tennessee Williams collection of short plays, Mister Paradise; a series of one act plays handwritten by a young author, found in the Greek section of a library in Virginia by a Cypriot scholar. A performance of several plays by the British Young Vic Shakespearean touring company in Nicosia 2005. Returning to NYC full time and working with the City of New York’s Department for the Aging Time Banks NYC brought theater work full circle. Theater for the New City (TNC) produced the artistic side of Time Banks NYC and led to today’s Tierney TNC Theater Workshop sponsored by Bloomberg Philanthropies since 2013. Unencumbered by war zones; theater life has been abundant with TNC Workshop as a base she’s been able to work in independent films and showcase productions of new plays these last half a dozen years.

MARY ELLEN ASHLEY (Madame Lily): Actress, Singer, Dancer, and Producer of Broadway, Television, and Film, Mary Ellen Ashley has been recognized as a Distinguished Professional in her field through Women of Distinction Magazine. where she was featured in their 2016 edition. Born and presently living in the Big Apple of New York City, Mary Ellen Ashley has spent time living and working throughout the United States, including Los Angeles, California, as well as in Europe. Performing in her very first theatrical role at the age of four on Broadway, playing Laura Thornton in the original cast of 'The Innocent Voyage', she was then cast in 'Annie Get Your Gun' and in the original Broadway cast of 'Yentl'. Ashley has since dedicated her entire career as an Actress, Singer, Dancer, and Producer of Broadway, Television, and Film. Her resume includes many Off-Broadway credits and, most recently, filmed two pilots: 'The Bunny Hole' and 'Americanos'. He has performed in theatrical and cinematic productions for over a decade. Theatrically, he has performed in productions including 'A View from the Bridge,' "Wait Until Dark,' and 'Pulp Shakespeare.' In video productions, Juan parlayed his memorable performance of Bernardo in 'Jose's Place' into the uniquely manic lead in 'La Casa Loca' (Maverick Entertainment). Bios: Playwright: Trish Ayers is an award winning playwright with play readings and productions across the United States and Japan including at Live Girls!, Hedgerow Theatre, Iowa State University, Berea College, and Manhattan Theatre Source. She is resident playwright for Mountain Spirit Puppets and has received three Kentucky Foundation for Women (KFW) grants and was honored to be the recipient of the 2011 Sallie Bingham Award from KFW. She was the founder of Kentucky Women Playwrights Seminar, a ten-year playwriting project.
Brandy Chapman is an actress and singer from Kentucky, having performed in the United States, Ireland, and Italy. Her experience draws from the teachings of Chekov and Stanislavski, as well as her own independent devising of pieces and projects throughout the past ten years. With an MFA from the National University of Ireland in Galway, she has appeared in several Irish television shows including An Klondike and Jack Taylor (both available on Netflix). Recent stage performances include Harvey and South Pacific.

Artist and Educator, Coni Koepfinger is the host of AIRPLAY, a weekly virtual theatre program now in its 12th season that brings the voices of artists, actors, playwrights from all over the world together. Also via new media, Koepfinger has created DETERMINED WOMEN, a monthly feature that interviews women who share stories to encourage and inspire. In addition to teaching theatre and composition at prominent universities like Carnegie Mellon, Penn State and Point Park University, Koepfinger is an internationally published and produced playwright, theatre theorist, and librettist. Coni is a Media Advisor for the Lifeboat Foundation who recently published her play, Get the Message in their Visions of the Future anthology 2016; a contributing writer for the Center of Conscious Creativity in LA; a Member of The Dramatists Guild, and ; a former board member of the International Center for Women Playwrights; and the League of Professional Theatre Women. Recent work includes three new powerful pieces with her writing partner Joe Izen: including Eve of Beltane -a fresh look at political corruption in the face of ancient Celtic mythology that was given a 29 hr AEA staged reading at Broadway Bound Festival (2019),; Schoolhouse -an ultramodern musical that takes the young victim of a school shooting through a magical journey into an imaginary schoolhouse to find compassion and joy; and the new age musical, Kingdom Come, where technology meets its match in matchmaking with TED, the world's first transhuman who falls in love with boss only to reveal a bigger, brighter picture for all humanity. She has written well over 40 plays, short stories , books and commissions such as Takin’ It Back a ten-minute play for THE ME TOO PROJECT in Harlem, and Playing House a commissioned one-act about Bella Abzug for the UNTOLD STORIES OF JEWISH WOMEN and Playing Fate which was accepted for New Blood Series at Theatre for the New City. In 2020 Koepfinger work virtually all over, with a new full-length, My Dinner with Mary, which was read online for The Producer’s Circle in March, and will be produced in the Dream Up Festival in 2021 at Theatre for the New City. She was last seen physically on stage in Thomas Walters’ (Julie Walters’ brother) new play Help a Handicapped God Trot Across the Universe at the 13th Street Repertory Theater in NY, and can next be seen physically (once quarantine has lifted) in various new works she is helping develop; British Emma Gibson’s Water in my Hands as part of Miranda Theatre Company’s Liz Smith Reading Series at the Cherry Lane Theatre in NYC, and Jamie Ramburg’s Castles in the Air with Midtown Direct Rep in NJ. In the interim, in Quarantine, Zoe shot a short role in a play adaptation of Emily Bohannon’s Virtue with Cowboy Bear Ninja productions which is soon to be released later this month, and is featured in Howard Pflanzer’s short play Space with Crossways Theatre that just premiered on YouTube. Zoe has been collaborating with various other projects for development and future engagement both for the stage and screen. Μaria Olon Tsaroucha is a pioneer in researching philosophical systems that study human nature, personal development and consciousness. She studied theater at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York (AADA) and sociology at Deree College, the American College of Greece. Sher specialized in Shakespearean repertoire and Stanislavsky method at the “Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Arts” in London. She has attended acting and film directing seminars with Mikhail Ilyenko, dean of the Kiev University of Cinema.
She is a member of the NAMA group of the Epi Kolono theater. For nine years she systematically participated in a group of creative writing, literature and Theory of Philosophy at the “Center for Creative Writing and Theater for Conflict Resolution” by the author and activist Christiana Lambrinidis. At the age of thirteen she had published her first book “First steps, first thoughts”. She was awarded by Antonis Samarakis and Costas Tachtsis, as the “youngest Greek writer”. He is the author of the book “Clear empty head” (Eridanus Publications).
She created the Magic Room Theater, a group of artists who have inspired and based on the musical-theatrical performances “this is a duck”, “a suspicion on stage”, “Lola΄s Cabaret”, “Reunion”, “Maria in Abundance “,” It’s a Wonder Full World “produced and directed by her.
She has worked as an actor in the performances “Trainspotting”, “Bug”, “Sakura”, “The Lunch”, “Mala, the music of the wind”, “Adam and Halima” for the National Opera, “La nonna”, “The janitor of the night”, “Missing people, an interesting life”. During her years as an actor, director, and acting teacher, she developed her philosophical and practical approach to a new interpretation of what it means to be an actor in life and on stage. Theo Herghelegiu is a theatre director, playwright, scriptwriter, lyricist, drama tutor and translator resident in Europe – Romania, Bucharest.
She graduated the University of Bucharest - Philology in 92 and the National University of Theatre and Film – Theatre Directing in 98. She also has a MFA in Film Aesthetics, 2013.
She directed over 55 shows and she wrote many plays, some of them being staged, either by her or by other Romanian, or foreign directors. She also performed in films and on stage, being awarded for Best Feminine part in The Angel, by Radu Dragomir, 1998. She worked in the field of journalism, acting coaching, scriptwriting and literary translations from English. In 1998 she founded the TEATRUL INEXISTENT private theatre company, which was the first and most active (at the time) independent company in the Romanian post-communist era. She led the company in partnership with a couple of colleagues until 2011 and directed over 20 performances with this company, which were a true avant-garde artistic statement of the decade. She also directed plays by important contemporary authors, like Sibylle Berg, Ronald Schimmelpffening, Lukas Baerfuss, Thomas Bernhardt, Claudine Galea etc, but also Shakespeare, or John Cromwell.
She is a fun of Tim Roth and Glenn Close. She loves interacting with people and always considered the performative arts to be about sharing joy – the joy of the togetherness; of discovering those truths that last for maximum 2 seconds… J

An elderly and hard-of-hearing couple is visited by the Grim Reaper, complete with the usual accouterments of hood, scythe, and imminent death.They mistake him for (variously) a magazine salesman, a Jehovah’s
Witness, a Weight Watchers associate, a shepherd (due to the “shepherd’s thingy” he carries), an escort service representative, a car salesman, and a gangster hit man, but offer him oatmeal cookies and tea as they continue to misunderstand everything he says. In total frustration, the Grim Reaper gives up, wishes them a long life, and departs.

Joan was awarded Best Director in the 2016 United Solo Festival where she has directed six pieces. Joan was named lone of the 2011 People of the Year in honor of her contributions to the NY theatre scene and inducted to the Indie Theatre Hall of Fame by nytheatre.com. Early in her career she was an Equity, AFTRA and SAG actress. She later became a teaching artist for Henry St Settlement, Young Playwrights and Theatre for a New Audience. Joan went on to teach in New York City Public Schools where she was also a staff developer and at Fordham University as an adjunct professor for both under graduate and graduate classes.

SYNOPSIS:
Gerald Thomson, an ex-stuntman in his early 70s, is now the special client of a hospital facility, in Calabria region, South Italy. He is in a wheelchair, as a result of a work accident. Louis, his son, flies from N.Y. to Calanzaro in order to bring his father home--not only because he’s getting married, but also because the medical care in the Italian hospital is rather poor. Gerald stubbornly refuses to get back home.The funny, yet dramatic conflict which arises between the two, reaches a climax when Gerald tells Louis that he is not his biological father. A series of small unfortunate events takes place, culminating with an accident, when Louis kills Maria, his dad’s much younger and beautiful friend. Taking advantage of the fact that Gerald’s brain seems to have been a bit affected lately, Louis calls in the accident, telling the hospital’s personnel that his father is the one who killed Maria.

Joe Anania (Gerald Thomson)
Joe Anania is a NYC-based actor who was trained as an acting teacher in the Sanford Meisner Technique by Philip Gushee who was one of the founding members of the Neighborhood Playhouse. His acting credits include work on the “Sopranos”, “Law and Order” as well as films, national commercials and theater, performing in contemporary plays, as well as plays by Ionesco, Chekhov and Moliere. Joe recently acted in two One-Act Plays in New York, “The Bear” by Anton Chekhov and “Penguin Blues” by Etan Phillips. Joe was the founding member of two theatre companies in New York City: “Performers Ensemble” and “Inner Visions Theater Company.” Joe’s recent One Man-Show “Split Decision” premiered at the Cherry Grove Theatre, He has maintained his own acting studio since 1993 (ananiastudio.com) PS I was one of his students.
Juan Perez (Louis)
Juan studied film, theater, and acting at New York University, Brooklyn College, and Michael Howard Studios. He has performed in theatrical and cinematic productions for over a decade. Theatrically, he has performed in productions including ‘A View from the Bridge,’ ‘Wait Until Dark,’ and ‘Pulp Shakespeare.’ In video productions, Juan parlayed his memorable performance as Bernardo in ‘Jose’s Place,’ into the uniquely manic lead in ‘La Casa Loca’(Maverick Entertainment). Juan currently produces videos for corporate clients and artists in Los Angeles.

Christy’s acting credits span traditional theater, interactive dinner theater, commercial and film work, and staged readings (in person, online, and via livestream). In the State of Georgia, I served as the Executive Director for the DeKalb County Council for the Arts; Georgia Council for the Arts/Grassroots Arts Program Administrator; as a panel member for the Fulton County Arts Council/Museum; Cultural Affairs/City of Atlanta Theater panel, and Southern Arts Federation/Theater panels. In NYC, I was the Executive Director at the Queens Historical Society for 8 years preserving the history of Queens NYC, headquartered at the Kingsland Homestead (Flushing, NY). I also served for 3 years as General Manager for Black Spectrum Theater located in Jamaica, NYC. From 2009-2011, I was the Executive Director for the Wyckoff Farmhouse Association/Wyckoff Farmhouse Museum (NYC and NY State’s oldest historic landmark built in 1652 and one of the ten oldest wooden structures in the US located in East Flatbush, Brooklyn, NY).

Lani Cerveris Cataldi is an actress and singer-songwriter/composer. Lani is co-founder and Creative Director of the Gemini Theater Company, Pittasburgh, PA. Lani has performed with Pittsburgh's CLO, regional theaters across the country, has appeared in motion pictures, TV films, industrials, commercials, and has done character voices for the McGraw-Hill Macmillan's national reading series. Some of her most notable roles include Aldonza (Man of La Mancha), Miss Hannigan (Annie), The Witch (Into the Woods) and The Gypsy (Tommy For the past 2 years Lani has been involved in various theatrical projects in NYC, including co-starring in After Life at the Theater for the New City and performing a one-woman show, The Shadow Dancer, at the Manhattan Repertory Theatre as well as composing and sound designing for several New York productions. Most recently, Lani co-starred in the indy film Turtle Island.

The role of Freddie, Josie’s jealous ex lover, will be
David Ogrodowski is an Award winning actor, writer, director, and producer, known for his work with Herrings the series, Bodyfarm the movie, Flickr the series, and hundreds of other films and shorts. He produces The Pittsburgh Uncut Film Festival, and has several other film projects.
He began his film career performing in 48 hour film festivals, and other short film festivals, where he received several Best Actor awards. In 2016, he landed the lead role in Herrings the web series, produced by Keith Chamberlain, which has gone on to win several awards at international film festivals, including several best actor nominations, and is currently in production on season three. He can also be seen in Bodyfarm produced by Brandon Keenan and Nick LaMantia, Batshit produced by Todd Wolfson, and Flickr, produced by Tom Savini. Other works include hundreds of short films where he has played both lead and supporting roles. His stage career which begin with the Pittsburgh opera as a supernumerary, has expanded to local theaters where he has played both supporting and lead roles. He produces The Pittsburgh Uncut Film Festival and is currently working on several films to be released next year.

Internationally, she directed Death In Venice (Stockholm), Carmen (Oslo), Happy End (Finland), Kiss Me Kate (Ankara, filmed for TV), West Side Story (Istanbul), and Eccentrics, Outcasts and Visionaries for the Holland Festival (Amsterdam), and the first American musicals ever staged in the country of Albania. At Encompass, she launched Paradigm Shifts, Music and Film Festival, to celebrate courageous people around the world protecting our planet, oceans, and wildlife, and in 2017, Paradigm Shifts was presented in Seoul, Korea.
As Vice President/U.S. Delegate to the International Theatre Institute, Rhodes conducted workshops and served as a guest speaker in Italy, Sweden, Germany, Venezuela, Argentina, Korea, Holland, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Estonia. She taught Acting for Singers at Manhattan School of Music for 12 years and is the commissioned librettist of The Theory of Everything, inspired by physics’ string theory of multiple dimensions and alternate universes.

Anel Carmona is a Mexican actor and playwright based in NYC. She has performed in dozens of plays in both countries including Tales of the White Mountain (Rising Sun Performance Theatre), Catch me in America (Strike Anywhere Performance Ensemble), and Ti Jean and His Brothers (Ma’s Playhouse). Her favorite writing credits include Adios Fjord (Off-Broadway), Chocolate en la Estación (Guadalajara, Mexico), and her play A seis pies de distancia was recently published in the Mexican Theatre anthology De Pandemia a Pandemonium. She holds a MFA in Playwriting by the Actors Studio Drama School and is a proud member of the Dramatist Guild of America.
Isabel Faith Billinghurst is a freshly-graduated Musical Theatre major from Otterbein University. They moved to NYC this January, and are very excited to hop into their first project here! Jessica Lauren Fisher is a founding member and the casting director for Eclectic Full Contact Theatre. She has performed throughout the Chicago and Indiana area in theatre, musicals, and opera playing everything from mice to men. Favorite roles include Lucy in Jekyll and Hyde, Adele in Die Fledermaus and Sarah Daniels in Spinning into Butter. Christopher Wayland, originally from Baltimore, MD, currently works and resides in the Chicago area. Andrew J. Pond moved to Chicago in 2002 from South Florida, where he had studied with the likes of Burt Reynolds, Dom DeLuise, José Quintero, and Charles Nelson Reilly. While there, he taught and directed at both InterAct Summer camp, and the Miami Shores Theatre's summer camp. Since moving to Chicago from the tropics (for the weather), he has worked extensively as an actor, director, and playwright with several children’s theatres, is a founder of Eclectic Full Contact Theatre in Chicago, teaches drama classes for all ages, is an Elvis impersonator, juggler, magician, balloon artist, plays with puppets, does Muppet voices, performs stand-up comedy, and has a degree in philosophy so he can use words like “epistemology” at parties.Other than that, he is completely normal. ABOUT THE PLAY
The Virus Corazón is causing chaos among the human population. This stoic and unruly viral infection infiltrates all those who show the ability to covet, to love and entraps those who possess the deep and insatiable desire to fornicate. Three outcasts have been weeded out to populate a new planet, called the Voon. These soon to be Vonanians are to be reformed and purged for their transgressions of depicting feelings and falling in and out of love. These natural human emotions deriving from the ardent passion and amorous adventures, which have particularly imbued the lives of these three slightly off-kilter but ardent fugitives and pariahs—are no longer desirable emotions and land all those who portray a propensity for showing feelings in the penitentiary or the psychiatric ward—as well as in freezers or in bathroom urinals. As punitive measures in the spirit of reformation. These outsiders are mandated to be beheaded by the guillotine at the hands of a sadistic otherworldly vengeful alien, an intergalactic trooper, who uses her bewitching powers and stark wit to, in a totalitarian manner, elicit confessions from these fugitives as she cannot merely deliver these inmates traveling in an out of control pod, to a novel full of hope planet without forcing these cellmates to repent first—as ordained by the dictatorial government of our unholy planet earth.

Sophia Romma, Ph.D., Esq.
Playwright/Screenwriter/Director, Dr. Sophia Romma is the author of fourteen stage-plays, produced Off-Off Broadway/Off-Broadway, three of which were produced at La MaMa E.T.C. Her play, “The Past Is Still Ahead,” which she also directed ran at the Cherry Lane Theatre, at the MITF and toured Montauk, London, Moscow, Montreal and Seoul. This story of a young mother and daughter losing and finding each other explores the consequences of global human displacement.

After almost losing her own life at 18, a granddaughter seeks to understand her grandmother’s own suffering at 18, as a holocaust survivor, reflecting on the hostility her grandmother was met with after surviving Auschwitz, and the lack of understanding or tolerance for traumatized individuals in society. Unable to live fully when traumatized, the granddaughter yearns to understand how her grandmother felt, even when embraced by family, and seeks to answer how she herself can live a full life after trauma.
In interviewing nearly a dozen relatives she’s never met, she encounters a generation of lost stories, unfinished histories, and invaluable memories, and discovers an even greater gift – a connection to a legacy that takes the entire family by surprise, and a treasure chest of unbelievable, heartbreaking, and even humorous tales of survival, betrayal, devotion, and resilience.
Who wins in the battle between history and memory? How do you save a legacy from the battlefield of forgetting? And is anything “just” a story?

was the genius behind the Voire Dire project and I dare say that it helped me to compose one of the boldest and most prophetic works to ever come out of my pen.
It was an amazing process-
Liz gathered a creative team - we viewed a painting (see) and we talked (say) about it.

Zoe Anastassiou is a Greek Aussie British actress, 365 blogger, MiD (Mother in Denial)…the list goes on! She was last seen as the Irish Jenny in the developmental showcase The Eve of Beltane, and she can next be seen on set for the short film Ashes that is due to hit the festival circuit shortly. Zoe is also the Associate Artistic Director of newly founded Helluva Theatre Company that has already begun a yearlong festival commemorating Pirandello, his work and influence called Pirandello150. I asked Shirley what inspired this particular piece and she replied, " I thought wouldn't it be fun to write a rhyming monologue about a mom's efforts to work out compromises with her children? I love rhymes and just now got an idea about a country singer addressing life's problems with rhyming lyrics. I can already see her and hear her voice. I can hardly wait to get started! "

ABOUT RINGTONES:
Ringtones was inspired by a conversation with my son, who was trying to brainstorm ideas for a one-act play to be performed at his high school. My son had the nugget of an idea for a play about a man who loses his wedding ring at a bar while celebrating his anniversary with his wife, but he couldn’t think where to take the idea from there. Consequently, my son left that idea behind and went on to write a different play about a husband and wife who meet in Purgatory. The idea about the ring, however, stayed with me. I couldn’t stop thinking about the symbolic power that we ascribe to a wedding ring, and so I decided to push the idea of that power to an absurd level by making the power real rather than merely symbolic. As I began to draft what eventually became Ringtones, I wrote from the husband’s perspective, which just didn’t feel right. It was only when I turned the situation around and wrote from the wife’s perspective that everything began to click. As a result, the wife’s final gesture at the end of the play came very naturally. In the end, I feel that the play was something that I needed to write in order to express my frustration with the current social climate in America.

La Linda is from East L.A. She's shy, funny, and inquisitive—and obsessed with Linda Ronstadt, who can sell out a rock concert quicker than any dude, and Lynda Carter, a.k.a. Wonder Woman, who kicks ass in the name of truth, justice, and All-American girl power. The discovery that all three share not only a name but Mexican heritage cements the Lindas' place in her life as guardian angels. At a school talent show, La Linda puts on the Wonder Woman costume her abuelita made, roller skates onstage, and proceeds to fail gloriously as a rock star. But her twin heroines never desert her in this super badass story of finding your inner hero.
About Diana Burbano:
Diana Burbano, a Colombian immigrant, is an Equity actor, a playwright and a teaching artist at South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa, CA.
She has been a working actor since leaving the Professional Actors Conservatory in 1991. She originated the roles of Ama de Casa in the Spanish version of Menopause the Musical, Thumb in Imagine, and Holo-1 in the Labors of Hercules. She recently played Ana Guerrero in Jose Cruz Gonzales' Long Road Today/El Largo Camino de Hoy Dialogue/Dialogos project at South Coast Repertory.
TV includes The People vs OJ Simpson, Cold Case, Betas.
She played punk Praetorian guard Viv in the cult movie musical, The Isle of Lesbos
Written work include Fabulous Monsters, a Festival51 winner, about women in Punk Rock, Picture me Rollin’ (featured at the 35th annual William Inge Festival.), Silueta, (about the cuban artist Ana Mendieta), with Tom and Chris Shelton, and the TYA Shakespeare mash-up, Caliban’s Island (Published by YouthPLAYS). It's a new monologue and Shirley thinks that it speaks to those who have one foot in the digital age and the other in a time when life was simpler -- or seemed that way.

Amy Oestreicher is a PTSD peer-to-peer specialist, artist, author, writer for Huffington Post, speaker for TEDx and RAINN, health advocate, survivor, award-winning actress, and playwright, sharing the lessons learned from trauma through her writing, mixed media art, performance and inspirational speaking. As the creator of "Gutless & Grateful," her BroadwayWorld-nominated one-woman autobiographical musical, she's toured theatres nationwide, along with a program combining mental health advocacy, sexual assault awareness and Broadway Theatre for college campuses and international conferences. Her original, full-length drama, Imprints, premiered at the NYC Producer's Club in May 2016, exploring how trauma affects the family as well as the individual. To celebrate her own “beautiful detour”, Amy created the #LoveMyDetour campaign, to help others cope in the face of unexpected events. Bio: Trish Ayers is an award winning playwright with play readings and productions across the United States and Japan including at Live Girls!, Hedgerow Theatre, Iowa State University, Berea College, and Manhattan Theatre Source. She is resident playwright for Mountain Spirit Puppets and Berea Arena Theater. Her plays have been published in the anthology “Scenes From the Common Wealth: Short Plays and Monologues by Kentucky Women” and the online journal, “Wordgathering.” Ayers has received three Kentucky Foundation for Women (KFW) grants, placed four time in the Appalachian Writers Association Josefina Niggli Playwriting contest, Best Play of “Ten Minute Madness VII” at North Park Vaudeville Theatre, and is the recipient of the 2011 Sallie Bingham Award from the KFW. She is a member of Dramatists Guild, participant in 365 Women in a Year and is the founder and director of Kentucky Women Playwrights Seminar*.

"Expression and a Soul," August 1889. Van Gogh and Gauguin reflect on their turbulent but triumphant nine weeks at the Yellow House in Arles the previous year, which culminated in Van Gogh's near death and Gauguin's fleeing Arles. Now in separate cities, they reflect on their time together, their art, their artistic styles and influences, and their relationships.
Shan R. Ayers, playing Vincent Van Gogh, is a professor of theatre at Berea College in Kentucky. Previous acting experience includes perfromances as Willy Loman in "Death of a Salesman", Lenny Small in "Of Mice and Men", and Henry Higgins in "Pygmalion." Two of his short monologues, "Privy" and "Cornelia Street" were featured on a previous "In the Crib."
Tony Crachiolo, playing Paul Gauguin, has originated many roles in new plays, including Trish Ayers' one-man play, "Ironing Lessons." He was last seen in Spotlight Theater's production of "It's a Wonderful Life Radio Play" as Freddy Filmore. Other roles include the Mad Hatter, Big Daddy, Oscar Wilde and Dr. Scott in "The Rocky Horror Show." He also hosts an annual Christmas program on WBER radio.

In this New World Society humans are forbidden to touch each other. The new physics has proven that the manifestation of love through the interaction between corporeal bodies can only weaken and deform the vital unit thus weakening the species as a whole.
Yet Simon has been assigned the mission to return to this reality by reconnecting with Destiny, who was his former bride beloved, lost during childbirth.

Sandra Bargman has appeared in the Madison Square Garden's Broadway National tour of CINDERELLA starring Eartha Kitt. She has appeared Off-Broadway, internationally, in numerous tours, has played leading roles in regional theaters and summer stock productions across the country, and has sung in many of the cabaret rooms of NYC. Sala Dia (Trudy) Sala is a senior Theatre major from Elsmere, KY by way of Columbia, SC. Acting credits with the Berea College Theatre Laboratory include Medea (Chorus), The Great
American Trailer Park Musical (Linoleum “Lin”), Jesus Christ Superstar (James), Crowns (Ensemble), and The Last Musketeer (Ensemble).
Trinisha Dupree (Maxine”) Trinisha is a senior Music major, Theatre minor from Las Vegas, Nevada. She has been seen onstage in the BCTL productions of Crowns (Yolanda), Jesus Christ Superstar (Soul Sister), and Galileo (Ensemble). She has also served as a Sound Technician for Trestle at Pope Lick Creek, Almost Maine, The Great American Trailer Park Musical, and Medea.
Jacob Appelman (Nurse) Jacob is a senior Theatre major, Film minor from Jerome, Arizona. Previous acting credits include Christopher Clavius and Ensemble in the BCTL production of Galileo, and various roles in The Last Musketeer and Other Stories, also with BCTL
Kanzas Godbey Hicks (Stage Manager) Kanzas is a senior theatre major from Richlands, Virginia. Previous Stage Management credits include Medea, Galileo, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Count Dracula all with the Berea College Theatre Laboratory. An elderly and hard-of-hearing couple is visited by the Grim Reaper, complete with the usual accouterments of hood, scythe, and imminent death. They mistake him for (variously) a magazine salesman, a Jehovah’s Witness, a Weight Watchers associate, a shepherd (due to the “shepherd’s thingy” he carries), an escort service representative, a car salesman, and a gangster hit man, but offer him oatmeal cookies and tea as they continue to misunderstand everything he says..
Susan Skosko plays both leads in this weeks production of Reflection. Written by Ted Gettinger and directed by Coni Koepfinger. This play explores our inner struggles with our decisions.

De’Adre Aziza is a Tony Award nominated (Passing Strange) actor and singer who has appeared in 3 Broadway shows, and numerous Off-Broadway and regional shows. In addition to theater, she has appeared on several TV shows including “The Good Wife”, “Blue Bloods” and “Madam Secretary”. De’Adre is also a recording artist and musician, having sung at such venues as Carnegie Hall (“Ask Your Mama” with Jessye Norman and The Roots), The Hollywood Bowl (“Ask Your Mama” with Jessye Norman, The Roots, and Nnenna Freelon), and The Bermuda Jazz Festival.
ADRIANA SANANES was a leading actress at New York´s Repertorio Español for ten years, performing works from the golden age of Spain to Lorca to contemporary theatre. Her awards while there include a Theatre Fellowship Grant from The Princess Grace Foundation, Best Actress, XIII Chamizal International Festival, El Paso, in The Trickster of Seville and ACE Award for Eduardo Machado’s Revoltillo.
More recently she was seen in Sophia Romma’s “Cabaret Émigré” at Theatre Row, and in Carmen Rivera’s “The Fall of Trujillo” at Teatro Círculo, winning a Best Actress award from ATI, The Independent Theatre Artists Organization.
Alice Bahlke was trained at Emory University and the O’Neill National Theater Institute. Alice most recently appeared on Theater Row as part of Rachel Reiner Productions’ Villainous Company . Up next, Alice will be filming the feature film, The Goddess, with The Looking Glass. Favorite credits include As the World Turns (CBS), Hell House LLC which recently premiered at Lincoln Center, and of course, Marina Tsvetaeva in Sophia Romma's The Past is Still Ahead at the Midtown International Theatre Festival in the summer of 2013 . Alice is thrilled to be reprising her role for 365 Women's Playwrights A Year at the Sheen Center, as the ill-fated poetic soul of Marina Tsvetaeva.
Walter Krochmal (www.sonichoop.com) has a diverse career as an actor that spans classics, contemporary, performance art, sketch comedy/revue, site-specific, folk and other genres, in English and Spanish, with engagements at festivals in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the National Theater of Honduras and beyond. He recently played several roles in Sophia Romma’s Cabaret Emigré at the Lion Theater on 42nd St. and is proud to be working with her again on her cult play,
"Carte Blanche" which premiers at the Midtown International March Madness Short Play Festival in 2015.

On Air Players presents Coni Koepfinger's One Act Play Turbulence. With interviews from the original cast and comments from our subject experts included.
Turbulence is the story of an emotional, bipolar artist who is stuck on a metaphoric elevator that never allows her to access the placid reality of linear time. Sophia, surrounded by her work, speaks to a metal sculpture as if it were her unresponsive spouse and her equally unresponsive therapist.
The play, inspired by Thomas Zipp’s work, which juxtaposes a figurative sculpture with a painting of rigid lines and repeated patterns defines how Sophia sees the world … as a constrictively designed structure she must somehow, someway fit herself into or escape from.

This time, however, Dr. Kelson O’Leary, a transmigrated Merlin becomes their advocate and thus aligns the stars in their favor, allowing Derry to see the fire of love that burns beyond all worldly limitation. Nellie O’Brien - has performed in many national and local venues including the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, The Westchester Broadway Theatre, Tarrytown Music Hall, The Emelin Theatre, White Plains Center for the Performing Arts, Salt City Center and The Performing Arts Foundation. She has TV, radio, voiceovers, comedy improv and cabaret to her credit and was a recipient of the Irene Ryan Award for Excellence in Acting. A former TV and Radio anchor, producer and correspondent, she is the president of Compelle! Communications, a company specializing in media training, presentation skills, spokeswork and message development. .
Richard Mazda as Johnny Aiden Miller
Richard Mazda is a writer, director, producer, actor, singer and musician. Born in the UK and now residing in NYC. Mazda received an award American Society of Composers, Authors and Producers (ASCAP) award for the Billboard R&B hit, “How Long.” Film Mazda appeared in major films, including Harry Potter and Philospher’s Stone, Saving Private Ryan, Love Actually, and Batman Begins as well as TV shows like BBC’s Eastenders and the ITV prison drama Bad Girls. London stage includes Canterbury in Edward II, Polonius in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead and Jimmy in Home James. In early 2005 he founded The Queens Players, an acting troupe that would go on to produce over 40 main-stage productions such as Macbeth, Cyrano De Bergerac, Edward II, As You Like It, Othello, The Importance of Being Earnest as well as original plays by Mazda, including All The Wild Horses, Pirate Pete, Touch of Death, and The Poacher’s Game. In 2007 Mazda founded the Secret Theatre, a 50-seat black box performance space in Long Island City, Queens. Two years later he expanded it to include a second 99-seat house. Currently, the Secret Theatre complex houses three performance rehearsal spaces and one studio/rehearsal space. The Secret Theatre and The Queens Players have become fixtures in the arts scene in Queens. Recent directing credits include a sold out run of Hair, Much Ado About Nothing. Mazda received praise for playing Richard in Richard III for the Queens Players. As a writer Mazda is the author of Pirate Pete’s Parrot and Princess Particular which are the longest running children’s shows in Queens with 72 and 56 consecutive dates respectively with no sign of the shows popularity fading.

MaryEllen has performed since she was 4 years old in all areas of the performing arts which includes all the early radio soap operas and half hour dramas. She was in the original Annie Get Your Gun as the little Oakley sisters opposite Ethel Merman along with 5 other musicals by the time she was a teenager.She had her own children's half hour TV show on ABC network-The Tootsie Hippodrome as Judy Ann the Tootsie Roll Sweatheart-sponsored by yes of course Tootsie Roll Candies. Later on she was seen in triple rolls in Yentle On Broadway, multiple 42nd Sts, MAma Rose in Gypsy, Mame, 13 different productions of Hello Dolly as Dolly and Mrs Lovett in
Sweeney Todd. These are only a few of all the Broadway, Off Broadway, regional and tours you mitt have seen her in. In more recent few she can be seen in film and TV such as The Producers, several Law and Order and Law and Order SVU, Fringe, Best MAn In The Dark, and a half dozen film touring the festivals as we speak. She has just completed two Pilots to be released in near future.

Ella comes back from her “SCHOOLHOUSE” experience in the dream machine insisting it is real and that she wants to return to the world where she can find happiness.
Ella’s parents are beside themselves and when they suggest that she needs psychological help… Ella tries to prove she can walk, falls and ends up in a coma.
When she wakes, the doctors have her transferred to a mental institution for treatment for her delusions. Ella escapes and returns to the SCHOOLHOUSE…

In this week’s episode, we flash forward to find Ella and Patrick both now in college. Patrick’s Professor Dr. Kazan asked Ella to be the test subject in a quantum physics experiment claiming he just might be able to find their “imaginary” schoolhouse by way of his new dream machine. Well, when Ella takes a ride on Dr. Kazan’s dream machine, she does end up in the schoolhouse - but not in the past. Now she’s in the future…
