In a moment of severe manufactured panic, we delegated powers to false prophets.This led to crimes committed, against a majority of the Earth’s population.Their effects will be felt for years to come; we’ve yet to fully comprehend theimpact of these events, nearly three years later.
Our followers will note the considerable date gap between our latest work ofSonic Multiplicities, and our prior works. The public health vampires that thepopulation allowed to wield dictatorial control over our minds and bodiescommitted crimes against both Andrew and Garrett that would be unthinkable inyears past.
- We both lost our profitable and prestigious jobs.
- We both faced serious health emergencies which the hospitals refused to treat.
- We both had friends and close family die far too young from suicide and despair.
- We both were let down by institutions, groups, and individuals who we thought wecould trust.
- We both watched music be misconstrued as an act of selfish, pessimistic evil -intentionally, by people who wish us great harm.
Worse of all, we are incredibly aware that we are not alone in these harrowingexperiences.
We have gone to extraordinary lengths to keep our music and our way of lifealive. For Andrew, it required abandoning the city hellscape in favor of ruralacreage. We rebuilt our lives in order to keep our passions burning, meetingincredible friends and well-wishers along the way. Music will never simply die.Sonic Multiplicities is an ideal that cannot be put back into the bottle.
When we first started this project, we were naively unaware of how much theworld would eventually become a polar opposite of the one we hoped and dreamedfor. As “AI art” enters the global conversation via the corporate press andpeople continue reeling from the censorship and other dangers of centralizedcloud computing, SM would appear to be as prescient an idea as ever.
SM will live on, and so we announce Sonic Multiplicities 4.0.

The American is a single-issue voter: their vote goes to whomever will promise to never speak about the US’s endless wars in the Middle East and Africa ever again.
Artistic Statement Despite the hundreds of thousands of innocent children who have died at the hands of US foreign policy over the past nineteen years, my fellow citizens feel it much more urgent and necessary to agonize over the yearly death toll of less than ten non-white individuals in 2019 at the hands of our domestic police.
It is rather shameful that we, as a nation, would prioritize what is happening to a few of our own citizenry, instead of the massive clusterfuck of death, misery, and violence that we spread overseas. Not one of the cultural, spiritual, or political leaders responsible for facilitating 2020’s tensions in the US have mentioned the starving and cholera-stricken kids of Yemen, nor the ailing peoples of Afghanistan. They refuse to read about how the OPCW falsified reports to force Obama to strike targets in Syria. We remain in the country to this day, giving aid and even fighting alongside Al Qaeda with the goal of overthrowing the Assad government.
Even those protesting against no-knock raids seem doomed to misunderstand the full breadth of the situation. These SWAT raids bear a striking resemblance to the kind of coordinated shakedowns of Iraqi citizens performed by the US military throughout that country’s occupation.
It’s almost as if our tragic foreign policy leads to similar kinds of destruction here at home.
This piece of music is intended to awaken the anti-war spirit of the American citizenry. I trust that my fellow Americans are not cruel, awful, or vicious people - they are just carelessly, tragically, and ruthlessly uninformed.
I hope, for our collective sake, that we do not remain this way for much longer. But for each year we do remain at war, a new movement will be composed & performed, then added to the end of this work. We will catalog the history of this horrific oppression, enabled by the brain-dead American demos.

Artistic Statement On rainy summer nights, I seem destined to traverse the deepest caverns of my mind - particularly in the early morning hours. The thing I keep visually referencing in my mind is: gold trim.
The kind of trim that fits so elegantly upon the creaky walls, paneled with wondrous arts - its volume, though, a veil upon the specific beauty of each individual piece. The kind of trim that elegantly drips down from the corners where the ceilings meet the walls, and into the porous lavishness of wooden furniture hailing from 18th-century Europe.
Whenever the sensibilities of the people who owned such extravagances was put to the test, it is certain that these proto-revolutionary victims found themselves situated among the trim. And I just wonder whether any of them thanked their lucky stars, that their last glimpses of life would likely be the sight of this golden trim, all covered by the blood running down their eyes as they drift peaceably beyond consciousness and into deep, indefinite rest.

Artistic Statement Reports prior to and during WWII identified a common issue with the earlier vintage of steam-powered ships. The fire room - that place where poor, miserable people shoveled coal into fire burners to heat up the steam, which powered the engines inside the engine room - was first put behind an airlock, which, when it failed, would erupt in a fantastic ball of fire and kill every last person in the room, and often times, the entire ship itself.
We are pretty sure this violin composition, performed expertly by master Sonicmeister Garrett Semmelink, is exactly what those fire rooms sounded like. Listen for yourself, and as always, we encourage you not to die.

Artistic Statement Think back to the last time you had to visit an airport in the United States. You’re sitting in some brazenly uncomfortable airport bench, anxious from having just had your junk fondled by an old person pushing sixty in a blue uniform; annoyed by the hoards of people who take far more personal space than they require, and; overwhelmed by the slap echo hustle and bustle that seems to be present in every such complex of buildings.
Only the deliberately psychopathic would dare look at such a scenario and suggest: “let’s AstroTurf this environment with the playback of commercial music recordings. That should plug up this glaring hole of thoughtlessness, bureaucracy, and corruption.” And yet, here we are.
Given all the events, which have transpired since 1978, one could easily conclude that music ain’t for airports. However, hindsight being 20/20, it was perhaps essential that somebody conceived of such an exaggerated expansion in the size and scope of music’s reach. For it is now exceedingly clear today, that the literate mind’s tendency to disrespect the confines of music’s glory, is on display in numerous social dilemmata.
Music may put more asses in the seats, more shoppers in the supermarket aisles, and more enthusiastic workers into boring office jobs - but what other human ingenuity have we tossed aside, which could have more adequately addressed such concerns? Worse yet, what has this severe mis-allocation of resources done to stall and disarm the lateral, multi-dimensional expansion of the sonic arts required for the survival and evolution of modern humanity?
Music can’t solve our problems; it can only synthesize new ones. It is our hope that you have a very, very troubled day after listening to this recording.

Artistic Statement Every time we pick our instruments up and dawn the self-conceit required to musically emphasize our ideals, we open a crater inside of ourselves, from which we allow concepts to escape into the physical universe. Though that opening may bubble and emit toxicity from time to time, for the musical mind those occurrences are the cost of doing business in the sonic universe. Too infrequently, however, we fail to consider how dangerous it would be to enter into this crater from the other side - a notion often considered when the thirst for musical prowess builds. Tragically, when we finally build up the courage to chart the inner depths of our musical mind, we are too frequently saddened to realize that there is not as much complexity as we would have hoped.
Even so, there’s plenty of magma and death that awaits the mental-musical journeyman. We are eager for our improvement to arrive, because our instruments enable us to experience immediate feedback. But when we step back from our conceits and meditate on the ideas of sonic multiplicity, we discover the internal prowess of our mental mysteries. The journey is what our music expresses, not its end result. It’s a good thing, too; the silence of death makes for some dreadful music.
