Feedback. Great when you’re writing a speech, not so great when you’re presenting it over a microphone on stage. With some solid preparation, monitor feedback can be mostly avoided, but everyone has had to deal with it at some point. Today, Tom takes center stage to go into detail about a method called automixing, which can be utilized to prevent the nuisance. He ties it in with our newest mixing console, Avid’s S6L, and various formulas for executing it.
“The New Normal”. It’s a phrase we hear all too often these days. With restrictions still in full swing, we’re all finding new ways to experience our old favorites. From live concerts in the comfort of our own cars to church on our couch, nothing really seems normal at the moment.
