Pastor Matt takes the stage today to introduce our new sermon series Movers and Shakers with the first message, Worship Regularly. This sermon will teach us how worshipping with other Christians on a regular basis helps us grow and become strong in our faith.
Pastor Matt returns today with the final sermon in our series I Will Build My Church. Today's sermon, A Church that Grows, uses the parable of the seed sower to show how ACC is focused on its growth strategy. Should the church focus on growing deep or growing wide?
Pastor John continues our series I Will Build My Church with a sermon titled A Church That Sees. He will teach us the three characteristics of a church that sees its purpose.
Pastor Matt will continue our series I Will Build My Church with a lesson called A Church Body. He will teach us what it means to be "the body of Christ."

Today Pastor Mike will start off our brand-new series I Will Build My Church with the message A Church that Prays. He will discuss the reasons it is so important for the church to pray and how the apostles began the example of being a church that prays.

Today we begin a new series called Great Expectations. Pastor Matt's first sermon in this series is Expectant World, in which we will learn how long the world waited for Jesus to come and what the world's expectations were of the new king it was waiting for. Now that he has already been born, what else are we waiting for? Come join us and find out what else the world is expecting.
Today Pastor John continues our new series Rhythms with the sermon "Rhythms of Rest." Are you too busy and never have time to rest? Pastor John will teach us how important it is to rest and show us examples throughout the Bible where it is actually commanded that we rest so that we can focus on our relationship with God. If the world's busy-ness has you worn down -- Stop! Come! Rest!
Today Pastor Mike will kick off our new series Rhythms with a sermon titled Rhythms of Worship. He will teach us what true worship is and how to apply the ancient meanings and practices of worship to our current world.
Today Pastor Matt will deliver our last ever Mission Sunday sermon, Living Sent. In today's lesson, we'll learn more about what it means to GO and what our lives should look like as a result of being SENT.
Today Pastor Matt returns with the final sermon in our Worlds Apart series. Today's topic is Moralistic Therapeutic Deism (MTD), and we will compare this type of Christianity to a biblical worldview. We will face two questions to help us determine whether our beliefs are truly part of a biblical worldview, and learn how to correct course if we are falling short.
Today, we will be continuing our series Worlds Apart with a sermon about Post-Modernism, a concept which is skeptical of any form of religion that is influenced by a higher being.
Today our series Worlds Apart, in which we compare major belief systems, continues with the sermon Naturalism. Pastor Matt will lead us in studying belief systems in which there is no God, and how those systems fail to explain the basic rules of science even though they claim to be science-based.

Today we see what causes the beginning of the years of wandering God's people go through in our study of the journey from Egypt to the Promised Land. The choices the people made out of fear when they are so close to entering the Promised Land are the same kind of choices we must make today. Will you choose fear or faith?
Today Pastor John will be preaching the next sermon in our Wander Years series, which studies the years of the Hebrews' slavery under Egypt through their travels to the Promised Land. Today's installment, God With Us, will focus on the tabernacle and how the glory of God has always been with His people and transforms them (us), even in the wilderness.
Today Pastor Matt leads our next installment in the Wander Years series with a sermon titled The Law and Forgetfulness. We will see Moses getting the Ten Commandments from the Lord and giving them to the people of Israel. We will also see how quickly the people of Israel break the Lord's commandments even after promising to obey them.
If God knows we are going to break the commandments, why did He give them to us?
Pastor Mike takes the stage today to give us the next lesson in our Wander Years series, Grumbling or Gratitude?, in which we will study the reactions of the Hebrews to the many blessings God bestows on them after leading them out of captivity.
This lesson applies to us today, too. Everywhere around us are more blessings than we can count, yet often we grumble instead of giving thanks.
Today Pastor Matt delivers the second sermon of the Wander Years series. Today's focus is the flight of the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt (The Exodus) and how God used the ten plagues to convince Pharaoh to let them go. Since Pharaoh wanted the Israelites to worship him and not God, it took a LOT of convincing!
Today Pastor Matt returns to the stage after his sabbatical with the first sermon in our new series The Wander Years, which is a study of the books of Exodus and Leviticus. This morning's sermon, Days of Darkness, gives us the background for the story of how God chose Moses to lead the Israelites out of Egypt. Has God ever chosen you for something that made you doubt his plan and think He must have meant someone else? That's how Moses felt.

This is an ethical problem that has been with us since the beginning of time -- join us and hear the biblical viewpoint on doing right and wrong.

Today's message covers the topic of transgender and non-binary identity and whether it is okay for people who feel they were born the wrong gender to transition their bodies to the gender they identify with.
Pastor Michael will deliver the next sermon in our Asking For A Friend series today. The question this sermon answers is "How do we know the Bible is true?" Many people feel that the Bible is just a book of stories. But Pastor Michael will teach us about ways that the events in the Bible have been proven over and over again to be true, giving us comfort that the Bible truly is the word of God.
Today we welcome guest preacher Pastor Wesley Bolden to ACC to deliver the next sermon in our Asking For A Friend series, where we pretend to be asking a question for a friend because we are too embarrassed for people to know we are asking it ourselves. Pastor Bolden will speak to us on the subject of whether it is okay to doubt our faith and show us how Jesus responded when people - even his own followers! - showed doubts.
Today, guest speaker, Rick Countryman, addresses the question: "If God is good, why does he allow bad things to happen to good people?"
Today Pastor Matt concludes the I AM series with Jesus' pronouncement, "I AM the Way, the Truth, and the Life." In this sermon, we will learn how Jesus is the only way to connect with God the Father. If we want to know God, we have to first know Jesus.
Today Pastor Matt will continue our I AM series with the lesson I AM the Light of the World. We will learn about the many ways that Jesus brings light into our world to conquer the darkness of sin, all because God said, "Let there be Light."
Today Pastor Matt returns with the next in our I AM series. I AM the Good Shepherd uses the parable of the good shepherd to teach us how Jesus cares for his followers like a good shepherd cares for his flock.

Today we start a new series called Redacted. Pastor Matt will be teaching the first lesson, You Are Not Good. Redaction is the process of covering over certain words, names, or phrases in a document so they remain secret and cannot be read. Pastor Matt will show us this morning the many ways that we as humans tend to redact parts of God's word in the Bible, and how we need all of God's word applied to our lives, no redactions.
Today Pastor Matt returns to continue our Advent series Arrival, with the message The Playwright Took the Stage, showing how God (just like a director in a stage play) came to Earth to make his vision a reality, to show the actors (us) how we were messing it up and set an example for us to get our relationship with Him back on track.
Today we welcome Pastor Matt back to the stage in person as he kicks off our Advent season with the first sermon of the series Arrival, in which we will study Jesus coming to Earth as a baby. Today's lesson is titled "The Artisan Inside the Paint." Sometimes we can look at a work of art and know immediately who the artist is because they put an image of themselves into the art. In the same way, God put an image of himself into his greatest work of art -- YOU! Come learn how Jesus' arrival showcased God's greatest masterpiece.

Today Pastor Michael will conclude our Ghost Stories series (on Hallowe'en!) with a lesson titled The Proof. Since the Holy Spirit (or Holy Ghost) is the least-talked-about member of the Holy Trinity, we sometimes want to see proof that He exists. Pastor Michael will help us see how to prove the Holy Spirit is at work within us.
Last week our series Ghost Stories focused on learning who the Holy Spirit is. This week Pastor John will teach us about one of his characteristics -- The Power. Is there something in your life that you want to happen but you need a lot of power to get it done and you aren't sure you have enough power? You are calling on the Holy Spirit to help you! When God wants to give you a challenging task, you can accomplish it because He has already sent the Holy Spirit to be in you and give you His power.

Today is ACC's Vision Sunday. Pastor Matt will present the aspects of last year's vision that ACC has fulfilled, and show us the ACC vision for not only the upcoming year, but also the 2-5 year long-term vision as the church grows...and grows...and grows!
God commanded us to love our neighbor as Jesus first loved us. That does not mean we should literally be crucified on a cross, so how should we love our neighbor? This morning Pastor Matt will kick off our new series The Art of Neighboring. The first message in this series is called Next Door, and most of us will realize that we are not great neighbors to the people who live close to us. Modern lifestyle means that most of our "neighbors" are the people we spend the most time with, rather than the people who are actually in our neighborhoods or on the other side of the walls of our homes.
