This week Pastor Andrew reminds us that we should always be inspecting our hearts and testing our motives.Psalm 139:23-24 (424)23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; 24 And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.
Jesus said that no man knows the hour that He will come back. Pastor Andrew reminds us this week because we don’t know the hour. We need to keep watching and stay busy doing the Lord’s work. Luke 19:11 Now as they heard these things, He spoke another parable, because He was near Jerusalem and because they thought the kingdom of God would appear immediately. 12 Therefore He said: “A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and to return. 13 So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, ‘Do business till I come.’
God is the God of creation. Ecclesiastes says His mercy is new every morning, He is the God new days, always look forward to the new day He will bring.PS 96:2 Sing to the Lord, bless His name;Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day.

This week, Pastor Andrew reminded us that Jesus has called us to follow him. Not just once in a while but every day. Last week pastor Andrew reminded us of the nature of our God!Leviticus 10:3 And Moses said to Aaron, “This is what the Lord spoke, saying: ‘By those who come near Me I must be regarded as holy; And before all the people I must be glorified.’ ”So Aaron held his peace.
Jesus said “in the world you will have tribulation”, Pastor Andrew reminds us this week that Jesus also brings us peace.Isaiah 26:3 You will keep him in perfect peace,Whose mind is stayed on You,Because he trusts in You.
This week, Pastor Andrew reminds us that we need to always be encouraging.1 Thessalonians 5:11 Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.
Jesus commands us to love one another, but how do we do that? One of the simple ways is to always remember that love is kind.John 13:34-35 34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
Our God is amazing!Mark 2:12 Immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went out in the presence of them all, so that all were amazed and glorified God, saying, “We never saw anything like this!”

Pastor Andrew reminds us who’s in charge. Romans 13:1 Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.

"Joy in Confidence" Andrew Chrysler 9/8/24We learned last week about joy of the Lord and rejoicing in the Lord. Pastor Andrew continues that theme showing us how joy brings confidence!1 Peter 5:6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, 7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
This week, brother Carl Hall brought the message out of Philippians reminding us to always rejoice!Philippians 4: 4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!
This week, Pastor Andrew reminds us that God is looking for someone…Ezekiel 22:30 So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.
This week, Pastor Andrew remind us about a characteristic of our God, that He is faithful! It starts with an example of His Faithfulness as a Brother named Will gives his testimony of God's Protection when he was trapped in his home in our town in East Alburgh when a very large tree came down during a storm and destroyed the home.2 Samuel 22:31 As for God, His way is perfect;The word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.
This week, Pastor Andrew reminds us that God‘s timing is always best. It might even be considered “perfect “Ecclesiastes 3:16 Moreover I saw under the sun:In the place of judgment, Wickedness was there; And in the place of righteousness, Iniquity was there.17 I said in my heart,“God shall judge the righteous and the wicked,For there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.”

This week Pastor Andrew spoke about how the Lord will remember us. Isaiah 38:2 Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed to the Lord, 3 and said, “Remember now, O Lord, I pray, how I have walked before You in truth and with a loyal heart, and have done what is good in Your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.
Pastor Andrew spoke on an important topic this week; Righteousness, something we all need to see Him but no one has ( Rom 3:10). This week, Pastor Andrew spoke about our responsibilities. We are all members of the body of Christ and each member of that body has a job. Listen and learn how God has put us together.Luke 12:42-43 42 And the Lord said, “Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his master will make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season? 43 Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes.
This week, Pastor Andrew speaks about something that was said not only in revelations but also by Jesus in the Gospels. He repeated the statement “he who has ears to hear let him hear”, many times. Jesus reminds us That the harvest is great but the laborers are a few. We need to not only consider our role in the harvest, but also pray for others to come.Matthew 10:7 And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
This week, Pastor Andrew spoke about how God will always provide for you. King David wrote “I have been young and now I am old, Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken Or his descendants begging for bread.” (Ps 37:25) that was true back then and it’s still true today. Luke 12:29-30 29 “And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind. 30 For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things.
This week, Pastor Andrew reminded us of how important unity is. We know that God, the Father God, the Son and God the Holy Spirit are all unified as one and Jesus prayed we could have a unity like that.John 17:11 Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are.

A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

This week Pastor Andrew reminds us that God’s ways are not the same as our ways. Listen as he reminds us to follow Him no matter what He chooses to do.2 Kings 5:11 But Naaman became furious, and went away and said, “Indeed, I said to myself, ‘He will surely come out to me, and stand and call on the name of the LORD his God, and wave his hand over the place, and heal the leprosy.’
God is the God of Justice, but he is also the God of grace. This was shown to us through his son Jesus and is best described by Paul “Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him!” (Romans 5:9). Listen as Pastor Andrew describes this balance between Justice and Grace.Deuteronomy 32:3-43 For I proclaim the name of the LORD: Ascribe greatness to our God.4 He is the Rock, His work is perfect; For all His ways are justice,A God of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright is He.
Happy Easter! He is risen… he has risen indeed!I know the resurrection is a fact, and Watergate proved it to me. How? Because 12 men testified they had seen Jesus raised from the dead, then they proclaimed that truth for 40 years, never once denying it. Every one was beaten, tortured, stoned and put in prison. They would not have endured that if it weren't true. Watergate embroiled 12 of the most powerful men in the world-and they couldn't keep a lie for three weeks. You're telling me 12 apostles could keep a lie for 40 years? Absolutely impossible.
After a bit of technical difficulty, we have the Palm Sunday sermon from Pastor Andrew. He talked about something we all could use some help with, excuses or… not making excuses.Genesis 3:12 Then the man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.”13 And the LORD God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?”The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

This week Pastor Andrew reminds us that we do have an adversary. It’s been said that the greatest achievement of Satan is to make people believe he doesn’t exist. But you do need to acknowledge him in order to fight the good fight.1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 9 Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world
This week Pastor Andrew talks about being a servant, a faithful servant. This is something we should all long to be, listen now, and learn.Matthew 25:2121 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
This week Pastor Andrew talks about something we should all be thankful for, God’s patience! Romans 15:5 Now may the comfort toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, 6 that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ
God made a promise to bring Israel out of Egypt, just like God promises to bring you out of problems you get into. Listen as Brother Steve reminds us of this.Exodus 5:1 KJVAnd afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness.
This week Pastor Andrew’s message is about the love God has for us. Paul talked about this love in all of his letters and how God shed that love abroad in our hearts.2 Corinthians 3:2-32 You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read by all men; 3 clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.
God has given each of us a chance to further His Kingdom. But we have to be willing to participate, and do our part for his kingdom.Matthew 9:37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. 38 Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”
Grace is defined as unmerited favor, this is something we have all been given in Christ. This week Pastor Andrew talks about standing in this grace.Romans 5:1-2Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
This week Pastor Andrew wants us to remember to bring joy to every situation by rejoicing in every situation.Philippians 4: 4Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!
This week, Pastor Andrew, reminds us that we still have work to do. Jesus said in Acts 1:8 that he would give us the power we need to do that work. It’s up to us to “Get Busy”John 9:4 I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work.

This week Pastor Andrew talks about knowing God. We are fortunate as we have a God who has made Himself available to us, if we search for him, we can know Him!Hosea 6:6 For I desire mercy and not sacrifice,And the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
This week Pastor Andrew about something we are all called to do, praise the Lord! The Bible says in Psalm 150:6 Let every thing that hath breath Praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD. That would include you!Psalms 30:4 Sing praise to the LORD, you saints of His,And give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name.
On September 3rd Pastor Andrew shared a message about some thing we all need, grace. Listen and learn about how grace and truth are related.John 1:17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
This week Pastor Andrew talks about one of the Lord’s promises. God says in Exodus 15:26, “I am the Lord that healeth thee”. Jesus said “Behold, I stand at the door and knock.” We have the opportunity to invite Him in. Listen as Pastor Andrew reminds us about unexpected opportunities.
2 Kings 7:3-4 3 Now there were four leprous men at the entrance of the gate; and they said to one another, “Why are we sitting here until we die? 4 If we say, ‘We will enter the city,’ the famine is in the city, and we shall die there. And if we sit here, we die also. Now therefore, come, let us surrender to the army of the Syrians. If they keep us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall only die.”
We know from 2 Peter 1:4 that we have been given exceedingly great and precious promises, we also know from John 3:16 that God so loved the world that he gave us Jesus. This week Pastor Andrew will be talking about how we can have confidence in Christ Jesus about these promises.
1 John 1:6-7. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
Who are you in Christ? This week Pastor Andrew reminds us of the answer to this important question.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
Omniscient means God knows everything! Including you. Listen as Pastor Andrew talks about this idea that God sees and knows you.
Hebrews 4:13 NKJV - And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account
Jesus said “when you pray…” as He taught the disciples, the “Lords prayer.” The idea was He expected us to pray. This week Pastor Andrew discusses this topic and remind us, we should always “pray more!”

Mark 16:15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
As we know, we have received grace from our Lord Jesus. Grace is defined as unmerited favor. Jesus has told us to show that same grace to those around us. As He ended the story of the good Samaritan, “go and do likewise.”
Colossians 4:5 Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. 6 Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.
We all know that Jesus came to forgive our sins, but not only does he forgive, but as Pastor Andrew shares in his message, He covers our sins. Listen and learn with this means.
Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God
Every tool has a different purpose, depending on how it was made. We know that God made each one of us for a specific purpose, like a tool, that purpose will be different, depending on how He made us. We need to seek out the opportunities God has given us based on how he has made us. Listen as Pastor Andrew talks about these opportunities.
James 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
Jesus came asking his disciples to be “fishers of men” . That hasn’t changed over the past 2000 years. Listen as pastor Andrew teaches about this calling that is still available for each of us.
Matthew 9:37-38 37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. 38 Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”
Christians are the light of the world, but sometimes they don’t realize it because they are always in the light. The light is all around them. But if you’ve ever been on a dark mountain road and seen the light of the ski slope or lodge ahead, you get the idea of what non-Christians see. Let your light so shine!Matthew 5:14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden
Last week after Andrew reminded us that we are all working for Jesus. This week Pastor Andrew talks about something we all want which is mercy. Mercy is defined as unmerited favor. The other side of mercy is Justice, Pastor Andrew, will explain the relationship and how God is able to bring both justice and mercy.James 2:13 For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. All of us have had to deal with loss at some point in our lives. The children of Israel traveled through a wilderness as did Joseph and John the Baptist as well as Paul, and finally Jesus was driven into the wilderness, as we see in the Scripture below. In each of these cases God was doing a work and they all came out better after being in the wilderness. Philippians 2:9 says "Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name." We see in the Proverb below that His name is a strong tower. Listen as Pastor Andrew talks about that Name, God's Name, and the Name of Jesus.

We also see in 1 John 5:3 that his commandments are not "burdensome" (1 John 5:2-3: This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. 3In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. 10 Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
11 The Levites calmed all the people, saying, “Be still, for this is a holy day. Do not grieve.”
12 Then all the people went away to eat and drink, to send portions of food and to celebrate with great joy, because they now understood the words that had been made known to them.

There's an old refrain we use at times in the church where the leader say "God is God" and the people reply "All the time" This week Pastor Andrew takes this idea of the goodness of God and explains where it comes from in scripture. Listen and find out why we can say with "All the Time" with confidence!
Exodus 34:5-7
5 Now the LORD descended in the cloud and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD. 6 And the LORD passed before him and proclaimed, “The LORD, the LORD God, merciful and gracious, long suffering, and abounding in goodness and truth, 7 keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children’s children to the third and the fourth generation.”
So many times we are looking for help but where do we seek that help? Listen as Pastor Andrew tells us about where we should find our help... In God!

This past week Pastor Andrew spoke on "Finding Grace". Grace is defined as "unmerited favor" by many so if you can find grace, you can find favor and that unmerited favor is what God brings to us. That is favor we don't deserve. Listen and learn more about this favor that God gives us.

This week Pastor Andrew talks about being reconciled to God. This is a term we don't hear much today and usually in dealing with settling your books for a business. This can give us an idea of what it means with God as it has to do with a similar thing of getting things settled between us through Jesus. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

This week Pastor Andrew talked about something we have all had to develop over the past year or two - Endurance! Fortunately God is in the business of walking beside us and even carrying us when we start to weaken. Listen and learn how to improve your endurance and rely more on our Father God.
Proverbs 24:10
If you faint in the day of adversity, Your strength is small.
Jesus said "In the world you will have tribulation, take courage, I've overcome the world" (John 16:33) We know that change always brings about concern and tribulation but as Pastor Andrew will teach this week, God provides stability even in change.
Psalm 46:1-2
God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore we will not fear,
Even though the earth be removed,
And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
As we go through this annual change we call Autumn we remember that it was God who put these changes into motion and it is He who controls them. Listen and Pastor Andrew expounds upon this concept!
