Dene and Nick Vespe are biological brothers and forever fans who passionately discuss the Los Angeles Rams. The show is packed with game highlights, celebrity guests, impactful stats, media reactions, player sound bites, and much more. We make our way around the league, too. If you're not a fan of the Rams, that's okay. There's something for everyone in #RBTP.
Rams Day 3 picks are in and the UDFA class is signed. The 2024 Draft is a wrap, and the Rams seemed to have carried over some of the same methodologies from 2022 that propelled them to a 10-win season in 2023. But now, with a 1st round pick in Jared Verse, pairing him with his brother in Braden Fiske and truly bolstering up the defense from top-to-bottom, there's plenty of reasons to believe this team is going to be really tough to beat again in 2024. They have exactly what they need to put another really successful product on the field for us Rams fans once again. Shoutout to Coach McVay, Les Snead and the whole organization for giving us constant hope and reasons to believe.

Day 2 has come and gone, and the Rams added more talent to their front-7 in Braden Fiske (Mob Squad 2.0?), running back Blake Corum from Michigan (all he does is score touchdowns) and Kamren Kinchens from Miami, who we believe to be the steal of the entire draft. There's not much to be upset about if you're a Rams fan. Tons of logic behind each of their draft picks and they've addressed a ton of needs in just a few days. The young committee of pass rushers is going to be a TON of fun to watch, and how about how they bolstered up the secondary? Let's go win some football games.

After 8 long years, the Rams sat comfortably and drafted a pass rusher from Florida State at #19 overall. Jared Verse is an incredible edge prospect who is going to start immediately for the Los Angeles Rams, opposite of Byron Young who will be entering his 2nd year. The Rams continue to build out their young core and made a ton of Rams fans happy by sitting at 19, not trading away assets and taking the pass rusher with the highest floor in the draft. Tune in for the deep dive!

The 2024 NFL Draft is quickly approaching, and there's news coming out every day on players' projected draft slots, potential trades, and who fans want their favorite team to draft at the top. In reading through all of the odds, the tea leaves (meetings with players, previous Rams draft trends), and all of the great content that insiders across the league are putting out, we're really starting to come to some final conclusions. If you're a Rams fan, you definitely want to get in on this episode prior to Round 1 starting on Thursday. See you in Hermosa!

The Rams have kicked off their offseason program as of today, and the 2024 NFL Draft is just 10 days away! We looked at two specific factors when finalizing our 2024 draft selections: the direct message we received from Rams COO Kevin Demoff, and the recent comments from Vice President Tony Pastoors on how to re-build his defensive line. Instead of building it "from the inside out" with Aaron Donald, we think the Rams will have a committee of pass rushers (both interior defensive lineman and EDGE rushers) for this upcoming season who can all contribute in different ways. EVEN if the Rams prioritize offense at the top of the draft!

The Rams have traded up to #7 in our latest mock draft, thanks to a direct message received by someone pretty close to the organization. By no means is this definitive, but certainly sparks the idea of what it could mean and how much it would cost for the Rams to make the jump from 19th overall to 7th overall. After taking a player we loved (and many others love) at 7th, we dug deep and tried to find the 3 best players that we could get our hands on between rounds 2-5. The 2024 Draft is just 2 weeks away!

The Rams are in the process of getting through league meetings and are starting to get ready for the NFL Draft, which is now only one month away. We went through a specific mock scenario that didn't allow any trades and featured 11 players that we feel would be (for the majority) immediately impactful for the Rams in 2024.

The Rams are now looking at life without Aaron Donald. They've signed a few great players to add to their secondary in Darious Williams and Kam "the Ram" Curl and they're hosting Tre'Davious White (former all-pro CB for the Bills) as of yesterday. They're doing some great things to add some recognizable stars to the back-end of their defense, but their front-7 is still going to be a concern heading into the season IF they do not properly address the EDGE position. We looked at the full 2024 UFA class, their implications to the salary cap, and what to expect next from Les Snead, Sean McVay and the Rams.

The greatest defensive player of all-time has decided to retire after 10 seasons. In this episode, we pay tribute to Aaron Donald, who played 10 incredible seasons in St. Louis and Los Angeles and won a Super Bowl with the Rams back in 2021. He’s an incredible player - perhaps the very best we’ve ever seen and ever will see, so we decided to properly pay him his respect throughout this episode. From there, we look to see how it impacted the cap for 2024 (and beyond) and how the Rams will re-shift their focus in the upcoming draft.

The Rams have been a bit more quiet over the last 48 or so hours, with the exception of signing Darious Williams to a 3-year deal, and tendering Michael Hoecht. Outside of that, the Rams have watched a handful of top-tier EDGE rushers sign massive deals, while they're sitting comfortably and are waiting for the market to continue shaking out. There are still players available we have in mind: specifically, trading for Haason Reddick from Philadelphia, or signing Nick Scott to a relatively inexpensive 2-year deal to be a veteran presence on the backend.

The Rams have made some pretty significant moves over the past few days, and particularly TODAY in signing Jonah Jackson and Colby Parkinson. Prior to this, the Rams re-signed Kevin Dotson and Demarcus Robinson and have tendered Alaric Jackson and Ronnie Rivers. It's a strong indication that the Rams are already off and running on their 2024 plan, and it's just a matter of time before more news breaks in relation to how the Rams are planning to continue building out their 2024 roster.

The Rams have been in the news recently: not because they famously didn't attend the "workout portion" of the combine again. But because they recently tried to add Mike Evans before the Buccaneers locked him up for 2 more years, AND they met with Rome Odunze, WR out of Washington who is a guaranteed lock to go within the top-12. It suggests that something is brewing... something flashy is on it's way. The Rams could be in business to trade up for an offensive player, and add a big-name on defense in free agency. OR, the could stay put. OR, they could trade back. Only time will tell!

The Rams have kicked off the 2024 offseason by cutting Brian Allen, and re-signing Demarcus Robinson to a 1-year, $5MM deal. Sean McVay also discussed working out a deal with Coleman Shelton and his representation in a recent press conference, as well as the future of Joe Noteboom. While this was all happening, the NFL broke news that the salary cap is increasing over $30MM for the 2024 season, and the Rams hired Sean Desai from Philadelphia to work with the offense/offensive coaches from a defensive perspective. The 2024 season already feels well under way.

The Rams made a final decision on Brian Allen and released him from the team while saving a total of $4.9MM towards their 2024 salary cap. They took on some dead money, but it’s definitely the first domino to fall for what’s set up to be mayhem once free agency officially begins. They’ve also finalized their coaching staff with a total of 8 new hires, and the connections between each hire are proof that Sean McVay and Les Snead are preparing to go all-in once again for the 2024 season.

The Rams have officially hired three new coaches to their staff in Giff Smith (defensive line coach/run game coordinator), John Streicher (coordinator of football strategy) and Chili Davis (special teams assistant). All of which will serve a significant purpose as Sean McVay has to re-build his staff for the 100th time. Additionally, we previewed four more draft prospects (not top picks), but kids who could potentially fall into later rounds. One of which is already friends with Puka Nacua, and another (QB) may be controversial, based on how QB's are being evaluated in this years draft.

The Rams are in a unique position: one where they have their 1st round pick for the 1st time since 2016 when they selected Jared Goff. They also have 3 other top-100 picks, so we went ahead and started digging into who the Rams could select with any of their top-100 picks. Obviously, some of these players are on the rise and may be out of consideration for the Rams. But, over the next 2 and a half months, players are going to be rising and falling. The Rams know where to look, though. And they'll be sure to find a number of contributors who fit their scheme/identity.

Rams hire Chris Shula (only 37 years old) to be their new defensive coordinator, who is somebody they have a TON of familiarity with. He's an internal hire that has 7 years of coaching experience under Sean McVay and has successfully coached in multiple roles throughout his career with the Rams. He has coached everything from the inside linebackers to the outside linebackers to the defensive backs. He was Sean McVay’s college teammate and roommate, and actually lived in Sean McVay’s HOUSE back in 2017 when McVay bought his 4600 square foot, 6-bedroom house in Encino Hills, California. It was reported that they used to have beers together on the balcony or by the fire to talk strategy.

The Rams are currently on the hunt for a new defensive coordinator. They're also in the process of filling out other staff needs, as Sean McVay's coaching staff continues to get poached year after year. Raheem Morris is taking Zac Robinson with him to Atlanta, coach Henny is already at USC, and the Rams are going to be interviewing Brandon Staley and Dennard Wilson next week (based on what has been reported). Changes are coming, and it's fair to trust that the front office and coaching staff will bring in the right members to fit their culture.

For the Rams to continue their success in the 2024-2025 season, all they'll need is for Les Snead to continue doing what he has been doing since Sean McVay arrived in Los Angeles. But more specifically: capitalizing on some of the foundations they've set forth coming out of 2023. That means continuing to find talent in the draft, but also shuffling some things around (Restructures, Extensions) to create additional cap room for the upcoming season so that the Rams have legitimate spending flexibility in free agency. Going after a top EDGE, or piece in their secondary would be huge. We'll see what happens: but wanted to lay out some "IF" scenario's/hypotheticals for you guys to chew on! Comment your thoughts below!

The Rams have some big shoes to fill with Eric Henderson (defensive line coach) already at USC, and Raheem Morris likely on his way out after a TON of head coaching interviews have already been lined up. We looked at a few potential replacements (one from Baltimore and one from Dallas that we like, specifically) as well as some KEY pieces (like Brian Burns or Josh Allen) that could be the first step towards a VERY successful offseason for the Rams. Also, Nick's Picks is back for some divisional round locks!

The Rams have a few new faces of their franchise in Kobie Turner, Puka Nacua and Steve Avila. How do these players impact the Rams' 2024 draft strategy, and how they're going to approach free agency in the coming weeks? Essentially, we're looking to find more of what Kobie, Puka and Avila brought to the Rams in 2023. But, of other similar positions of need, like the front-7, X receiver, and RG.

The Rams unfortunately fell a bit short last night, and it was due to two major reasons: their lack of red zone efficiency, and the defense's inability to adjust until the 2nd half. Both of which have been pretty significant issues throughout the season, but the Rams were very close to being able to overcome it and advance to the divisional round. Perhaps the Packers winning spiked our expectations, but the Rams holistically over-exceeded expectations and will be READY TO GO for the 2024 season. Super Bowl aspirations are officially back on the table for next year.

This is a fun week for Lions and Rams fans. Specifically, as it relates to the Quarterbacks and all of the parallels that exist between the two players and franchises. Before previewing the most anticipated Wildcard game in NFL History (in our eyes), we decided to take a deep dive into the lives of each quarterbacks before and after the trade in February of 2021 unfolded. Jared Goff is on a mission to prove Sean McVay wrong, while Matthew Stafford couldn't be more excited for his trip back to Detroit. Both players deserve a ton of love, but there's differences in the two that made Sean McVay pull the trigger in hopes of another trip to the Super Bowl.

The Rams' playoff destiny officially begins in Detroit, as the Rams beat the 49ers for the 1st time after losing to them in 9 consecutive regular season games (can't forget about the NFC Championship, too). But what Carson Wentz did, under Sean McVay and Mike LaFleur's leadership, was truly heroic and it simultaneously allowed our favorite rookie ever in Puka Nacua to break not only the receptions record for a rookie, but also the receiving yards record which was more than 63 years old. It seems everything came together for the Rams at the right time this season, and there's a belief amongst Rams fans that this game in Detroit is going to be more pressure-packed for the home team than it is for the visiting Rams. CHEERS TO AN OVER-ACHIEVING REGULAR SEASON.

The Rams are traveling to San Francisco with playoff seeding on the line. They've decided to take gambles in starting Carson Wentz and sitting a majority of their core in Aaron Donald, Ernest Jones, Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp and Kyren Williams (while SF is presumably electing to do something similar, with Purdy & McCaffrey already out). They're also somewhat dependent on the Bears finding a way to beat Green Bay in Lambeau Field, because it then guarantees the Rams are locked into the 6th seed and will likely have the favorable match-up that the world desires in Detroit. Let's see how it all pays off, and if resting their starters pays dividends during Wild Card weekend.

The Rams are officially PLAYOFF BOUND! All thanks to an incredible foundation that was introduced back in the summer by Sean McVay, as well as Les Snead working his magic late in the draft to find future core pieces for this roster. What comes next is a mystery as the Rams have already exceeded our expectations for the season. But, no matter how this season ends, there is ZERO doubt that the Rams will be hungry for another Super Bowl run in 2024.

The Rams are currently a heavy favorite to make the playoffs prior to Sunday's game, and just need to handle their own business (get a win on the road) and hope Seattle loses in order to clinch a playoff spot. No game in this league is every easy, though as the Eagles learned the hard way on Christmas when Tyrod Taylor had an opportunity to tie the game in the Giants' final possession. Regardless, with the Rams playing as well as they are, its really difficult to find reasons why they wouldn't win this game. If they play their game, it won't be as close as the spread suggests.

The Rams took care of business in their biggest game of the season. On Thursday night, they played host to the New Orleans Saints (now 7-8) in what was essentially a playoff game. The score may have been somewhat close in the end, but the Rams were pretty much dominant throughout the entire game. They're plenty poised to make some noise in the final weeks of the season/early in the playoffs, on the backs of their weight-bearing walls, as well as their draft class and veteran free agents.

The Rams are in the process of preparing for their biggest game of the season. On Thursday night, they'll play host to the New Orleans Saints (also 7-7) with massive playoff implications on the line. If the Rams win, their playoff odds skyrocket and their chances of being the 6th or 7th seed in the NFC are very much real. A loss makes the road to the post-season MUCH more difficult, as well as having to face the 49ers in the final week of the season. But, with the Eagles' recent loss, that game may not have a ton of meaning. The bottom line -- the Rams need to get the job done on Thursday night. And the rest will take care of itself.

It's no secret, the Rams are making a legitimate playoff push at 7-7 with 3 games to play. The relationship with Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp continues to grow stronger, as Matthew Stafford is clearly playing some of the best football in his career. Kyren Williams (despite the two fumbles) is as effective in this offense as Todd Gurley once was. The Rams' offensive line is also doing it's job and staying healthy for the majority. They're truly now executing on their plan set in April, which was for the offense to carry the weight for the defense and special teams. It's all coming together at the perfect time.

The Rams (6-7) are playing host as 7-point favorites to the Washington Commanders (4-9), who are coming off a bye (the Rams’ 4th opponent this season that’s coming off a bye) and have given up an average of 38 points in four straight losses. The once .500 Washington Commanders lost EDGE help at the deadline in Montez Sweat (in Chicago) and Chase Young (in San Francisco) on Oct. 31st and have gone 1-4 since with their only win being over the Patriots back in early November. This game is absolutely a must-win for the Rams, in hopes they can string together 3-straight and steal a Wildcard playoff spot.
See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
The Rams (now 6-7) had put together an impressive streak of 3 straight wins against Seattle, Arizona and Cleveland to get back to .500. But, the Ravens proved they were a tougher task, and a walk-off win on a punt return (with an obvious missed block in the back call) ended up being the difference. It’s important to not get caught up on the final result of this game, because the Rams are playing some really good football right now. And with the Commanders, Saints and Giants on deck, there’s no reason to suggest they can’t win all three games and find themselves in one of the final NFC playoff spots. Exactly where we expected them to be when the season started.

The Rams' offense took roughly 9-12 weeks to come together, and their inexperienced defense is starting to follow suit. They've also (finally) solidified the kicker position for a potential post-season run. They're now facing arguably their toughest match-up yet (the Baltimore Ravens), with the Ravens front-7 playing as well as any in football right now. How can the Rams put together a gameplan strong enough to remain within 1 possession in the 4th quarter? From there (if they can execute), they have a legitimate opportunity to continue shocking those who claimed they were officially in "tank mode" after losing to the Packers.
See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
The Rams have now won 3 straight games, leaving them very much in playoff contention as the current 8 seed in the NFC. Let's not kid ourselves: this team has been really impressive and is playing complimentary football over the last three weeks for the first time this season. The tanking narrative is starting to slip away, and Rams fans are starting to focus-in on the final stretch of the season. The question is: can this current roster actually pull off a playoff push, or will they fall short? We've been on record all season saying they're good enough to grab the 6th or 7th seed in the NFC.
See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
The Rams are in a position to grab the 7th seed in the NFC and win three games in a row for the first time this season. The Cleveland Browns and (potentially) former Super Bowl MVP Joe Flacco are in their way, as the Rams are going to have to be smart with how they approach their gameplan if they want to come away with a win. The best way would be to win consistently at the line of scrimmage, and negate the pressure that Myles Garrett and ZaDarius Smith cause in the pass game by heavily utilizing Kyren Williams and Royce Freeman. Oh, and our QB can make some throws when he has to, too.
See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Was this as close to a perfect game as this Rams roster can play? We're thinking it was. Not only have the Rams now won back-to-back games for the first time this season (in dominant fashion, hanging 37 points on the Cardinals), but they’ve now swept a division rival in back-to-back weeks. Led by Kyren Williams' heroic effort, it’s the first time they’ve won back-to-back games since weeks 2 and 3 of last year. Is this Rams team poised to make a bit of a run come prepared to play two AFC teams over the next two weeks? Only time will tell. But, they showed some promise today.
See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
The Rams are heading into Arizona as underdogs (as it stands right now), which is interesting considering the Rams have handled Arizona the last 8 times they’ve traveled there. But, this Arizona Cardinals team in Week 12 is completely different from the team we saw in Week 6, primarily due to players like Kyler Murray, James Conner, and Budda Baker. When we talked through the Arizona Cardinals in Week 6 and their inability to move the ball in the second half, we knew they’d give us a better effort when they were fully healthy later on in the season. But, in a “re-tooling year”, the Rams have a unique opportunity to sweep division rivals in back-to-back weeks. Can they pull it off?
See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
The Rams haven't played good football over the last 5-6 weeks. There's no way around it. But for some reason, they always seem to do just enough against the Seattle Seahawks. Sure, a ton of their offense was aided by the 130 penalty yards Seattle committed. But, that doesn't mean the Rams stepped on the gas (offensively and defensively) in the 2nd half when they were down their Super Bowl MVP and Triple Crown winner. This win puts the Rams back "in the hunt" which may be controversial to the fans who are hopeful they're "tanking" in effort to get a top pick.
See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
The Rams are a pretty confusing team right now. Are we a solid football team if we string together a few wins over the next few weeks? Do we NOT want to win, in hopes our draft slot is better? There's a lot of controversy surrounding what the Rams will or won't do to end this season. All of that aside, it's not too much to ask if you want to watch them play competitive football against a team they've historically played well against (under Sean McVay). They're getting very important players back and should be able to stay competitive through the remainder of this season. But one thing is for sure: the next two games will set the tone for where this season will net out.

The Rams made a few roster moves ahead of their bye week, inclusive of: waiving Brett Rypien, Dresser Winn, Myles Gaskin and signing former 2nd overall pick Carson Wentz. Wentz has had some insane success and some major downfalls in just 7 short seasons — with plenty of controversy tied to him. But nothing that should stop McVay from getting the best out of him. And because it’s a bye week, we leaned in on Nick’s Picks in hopes to make the fans some money this weekend.

The Rams fell to the Green Bay Packers in dramatic fashion, which makes for embarrassing losses in back-to-back weeks. Fans are angry because they felt like they were originally sold optimism by the coaching staff on the 2023 season when in reality, they all somewhat knew that the Rams were lacking in the talent department (with the exception of their three “weight bearing walls”). But to struggle this badly after showing SOME promise in the first few weeks of the season is difficult to digest. We’ll talk through all of the important questions and look for solutions on how to get through this season -- and mentally prepare for next.

The Rams were silent at the trade deadline yesterday and signed Dresser Winn as insurance as they prepare to travel to Lambeau to take on the Green Bay Packers. If Matthew Stafford is healthy enough to play in this game (is currently dealing with a gnarly UCL sprain), then the Rams have a legitimate chance to go into their bye week with a 4-5 record, and a real opportunity to re-set themselves in preparation for a tricky back-half schedule and 2 divisional opponents right out the gate. Let's see what kind of team this is, and if they can rebound like they should.

The Rams were flat out dominated by the Dallas Cowboys, 43-20 with the Cowboys fresh off their bye week, in their home stadium. Yes, the Rams have had some tough breaks when it comes to the schedule. But, when it comes to execution and situational play-calling, it feels like the Rams simply need to be better. And when it's so poor to the point it puts your starting quarterback (and 1 of 3 "weight bearing walls") in jeopardy of serious injury, it's time to start re-considering the game-plan. The defense, as a whole, needs to be better too but how much can you ask of a unit that is simply lacking talent

The Rams are in a difficult spot: getting ready for the 4-2 Dallas Cowboys, who are coming off of a bye: very similar to what we had to deal with against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Regardless, the Rams have a few mistakes they can correct in this game that we believe could very much propel them to victory. Simple offensive tweaks (stay with the quick game, stay balanced) and defensively finding ways to generate pressure on Dak Prescott, who has sat back comfortably in the pocket this season. A great match-up is very much ahead of us...

It felt like the Rams had a legitimate opportunity to come away with a win today at SoFi Stadium, where the Rams hosted the now 4-2 Pittsburgh Steelers. Due to a few mistakes down the stretch and very obvious deficiencies on Special Teams, the Rams weren't able to capitalize on as many opportunities as the Steelers did. Missed FG's put Pittsburgh in favorable field position. Penalties and question marks in our young secondary led to big (late) conversions. The officiating was questionable at best. The Rams have nothing to do but briefly reflect on this loss, then look ahead to Dallas.

The Rams are in unfamiliar territory: they're the favorite in back-to-back weeks with the Steelers headed to SoFi this weekend. It doesn't come without a price... the Rams lost Derion Kendrick to an arrest and Kyren Williams + Ronnie Rivers to injury. They turned that right around by signing Darrell Henderson and Myles Gaskin to fill the vacancy and stand by the comments of the offensive line (after Sunday's win). Aside of that, the Steelers are on a bit of a rollercoaster: winning 3 of 5 games but with a statistically "bad" defense, and an underwhelming offense (despite having plenty of skill players on paper). It's going to be an INTERESTING match-up: the first of McVay and Tomlin since 2019. Strap in!

This was a must-win game, and the Rams got the job done against the Arizona Cardinals at home to improve to 3-3. As we work through this episode, we'll chat through the mysterious scripted series to start the game, the "tale of two halves"/McVay's big "adjustment", Cooper Kupp being back at full speed, Kyren Williams' incredible 2nd half (+ injury news), the offensive line being focal to Sean McVay at halftime, the defenses second-half adjusment that created just enough pressure to win, and the Rams' position in the NFC currently. There's hope to be had, and no tank in sight.

The Rams are in a must-win situation on Sunday, with both James Conner and Budda Baker out of the line-up for Arizona. The Cardinals' defense is giving up 350 yards per game and is ranked towards the bottom in defending against the pass AND defending against the run. So, it should be an easy win for the Rams as 6.5pt favorites at home, right? Well, the Arizona Cardinals are playing better than expected, with a win against Dallas and hard-fought back-to-back weeks against the 49ers and the Bengals. Now, they're tasked with a division rival that has owned the match-up since Sean McVay got on the plane, headed to LAX and started coaching the Rams. Is it finally time to get right at home?

In a weekend that united the whole Rams Brothers team, the Rams fell to the Eagles, 23-14 at home. While the Rams' fans were representing, there were tons of Eagles fans to balance out the energy in the stadium -- and in most scenarios, it favored the away team. Traveling fan bases are hard to prevent but becoming one dimensional in the second half and being afraid to run the ball when you fall behind is correctable. This young team has faced an incredibly difficult schedule to start the season, but now it's time to start putting the pieces together with back-to-back home games on the horizon. The difficulty of this 5-game sample size is going to pay dividends for the Rams in the back-half of the season

The Rams are finally back home after a 2-week stretch of AFC road games. When they enter SoFi Stadium on Sunday, they'll be met with the reigning NFC Champion Philadelphia Eagles, led by Jalen Hurts. The Eagles' offense may not be quite where it was last year, but their defense front is much improved and are ready to put pressure on Matthew Stafford, his injured hip, and the remainder of the Rams' offense. We listed off three very important keys to victory (as 4-point underdogs), and of course tackled Nick's Picks for the week (on a very difficult week to judge).

The Rams walked into Indy with a purpose: avoiding a 1-3 record and getting back on track. They seemingly did that with ease throughout the entire first half, but the second half was a completely different story. The combination of Anthony Richardson and Shane Steichen's new offense was overwhelming for the Rams late in this game, but a few missed FG's may have led Sean McVay to be more aggressive with his play-calling down the stretch. The Rams relied on their playmakers and were able to finish the job with a walk-off TD by the heroic Puka Nacua.

The Rams are faced with another difficult task: a second-straight road game against an AFC opponent that is playing really good football. Under new head coach Shane Steichen, this Colts team is nearly unrecognizable. Anthony Richardson should be healthy enough to start, and their offense is full of well-designed plays and really good situational play-calling. Their defense is playing way above what people expected of them and have plenty of veteran presence to show for. How will the Rams get back to .500, and more importantly, correct the mistakes they made in Cincy, as well as keep their QB upright?

The Rams lost on MNF to the 0-2 Bengals mainly because of self-inflicted wounds. They were 1-11 on 3rd down, 0-3 in the Red Zone, and became more and more one-dimensional as the game progressed. Sean McVay seemingly called a game that went against the Rams' core offseason principle: which was keeping his QB1 upright, and protected throughout the entirety of the season. The offensive line was banged up in this game, but is that any excuse to neglect the run in a one-score game (on the road)?!

Finally, the Super Bowl 56 rematch we've all been waiting for. I think if it were up to Joe Burrow, he would have this game pushed back on the schedule after re-aggravating his calf against the Baltimore Ravens late in the fourth quarter of a 27-24 loss. In parallels of Joe Burrow's calf, the new-look Rams are poised (as 2pt underdogs currently) to go into Cincinnati and come home with a win. A continuation of what we've seen on offense (a true marriage of the run/pass, legitimate/effective blocking schemes in the run game, improved pass-pro, etc.) and continuous pressure upfront should be a recipe for a win. You never know though, that Joe Burrow always seems to have some magic up his sleeve.

The Rams have now lost 9 straight regular season games to the 49ers. But this one was different, as we mentioned on the preview episode. We believed that to be true because of the Rams' much improved offensive line, the unbelievable introduction Puka Nacua has made to the league, and the young, talented defensive players we have that are currently starved to stay on the field. We left this game thinking about how well the Rams' offense executed on third down, how well they protected Stafford (before the 49ers adjusted their front), and why there should be a ton of optimism amongst Rams fans for the next 3 seasons. A few mistakes were left on the field, but they were all teachable moments for promising young & talented players.

The Rams' record against the 49ers over the last 4+ seasons doesn't tell the full story. This season, a brand-new opportunity awaits for the Rams to put their handful of regular season losses to the 49ers behind them. It's the very first time we're getting to see Brock Purdy stand back in the pocket with Aaron Donald creeping down on him, with a healthy Matthew Stafford and fully rejuvenated offensive line protecting him. With the 49ers coming back to SoFi Stadium, all expectations are that it's the 49ers season to lose. But if the Rams are able to handle business at home, how much of that will actually be true?

The Rams seemed like they were on a legitimate mission at Lumen Field yesterday. They made the opening game vs. Seattle personal, and used all of the outside noise as motivation to prove the talking heads (and remainder of the league) wrong. Their defense absolutely dismantled Seattle in the second half, and their offense throughout the whole game progressively got more efficient. We were also able to see the relationships grow in real-time between Matthew Stafford, Puka Nacua and Tutu Atwell. Aaron Donald is doing the same on the other side of the ball with the young interior players & pass rushers. All around, phenomenal start to the season with a 30-13 victory on the road against Seattle

We've finally made it, Rams fans. The long-awaited regular season is here. To kick us off, we're facing a familiar opponent: but without one of our weight bearing walls in Cooper Kupp. How are the Rams (offensively) going to replace Kupp's production, and how can they find a way to exploit Seattle's weaknesses upfront? Also, Nick's Picks of the week are BACK, so we worked our way around the league throughout the last 10 minutes (or so ) of this episode.

The Rams' second preseason game against the Raiders is in the books, and there are some key takeaways on both sides of the ball that we made sure to note within this episode. We've been identifying the players who could be contributors to the 2023 regular season, and a handful of them are starting to shine in recent joint practices/preseason games. Specifically, guys like Steve Avila, Quentin Lake, Tre Tomlinson and Bobby Brown. We truly feel that four or five guys will help shape out the starting roster and make this team feel more complete (both on offense and defense), and that's exactly what the preseason is for! A lot of fun and optimism to be had heading into the final preseason game next weekend.

The Rams' first preseason game against the Chargers is a wrap. In this quick hitter episode, we wanted to make sure to focus-in on the three areas that we felt were most notable (for a multitude of reasons): and to us, that was the defensive line (in its entirety), a handful of offensive lineman, and the special teams unit. If all three of these elements aren't working in your favor, any game is likely to get lopsided - and fast. Additionally, there were a handful of players who stood out, and could be legitimate contributors in this upcoming season: so we made sure to highlight them, as well. Enjoy!

The 2023 Rams' training camp in Irvine, CA is officially a wrap, and it featured just a few minor injuries to some of our key players (nothing major, thankfully) and a fully rejuvenated Sean McVay. The combination of the two, plus a healthy dose of "freshness" when it comes to who's in the building and some of the methodologies they're trying to install from the top-down has us feeling optimistic about the upcoming season. We went through the release of the pre-season depth chart, any surprises/major callouts we noticed (hint: the position battles we've been monitoring) and got a feel for who we're going to see in the opening preseason game against the Chargers!

The Rams have officially kicked off their 2023 training camp, and there's never a shortage of story lines as we're anticipating yet another fun year of Rams football. Specifically this year: it's focused on the new faces, and specifically, how those new faces are going to cause disruption (in a positive way) and influence the position battles that are currently going on. The WR position (for the third spot) is very intriguing, there's the LT position (Jackson vs. Noteboom), Center (Allen vs. Shelton) and RG (Bruss vs. Shelton vs. Anchrum)? And defensively, how are the rookies & new faces in the secondary meshing with Aubrey Pleasant, who is back on his second stint with the Rams? How is Aaron Donald playing a positive role not only for his companions on the defensive line, but his quarterback, as well? Find out in the latest!

Does it feel like there's an overwhelming amount of GREAT football offseason content to consume? Well, that's because there is -- between the Playcallers (Jourdan Rodrigue's masterpiece), Netflix's "Quarterback" and Behind the Grind, we were inspired to take a deep dive on Sean McVay, and what has made him (and the Rams) so special over the last handful of years. Going back to 2017, we chose just one regular season game to focus on as an example of his offensive evolution over the years, and why certain moments in time either made his play c0alling look unstoppable one week, and very beatable the next post 2018 Super Bowl. The most important part being how it was corrected to bring them back to glory, and how McVay will use everything he has learned over the years to carefully craft his 2023 offense. All of that, plus a 2023 training camp preview and players we have our eyes locked on.

The Rams are in a little bit of a down period right now for roughly the next three weeks as they start preparing internally for training camp. While we wait, we figured it was a good opportunity to address any of the latest uniform rumors, discuss the training camp schedule + what we're watching for (joint practices will be mixed in but haven't been announced yet), the latest from "Behind the Grind" (the Rams' personalized version of Hard Knocks), and talk through any potential free agents that are still very much on our radar.

The Rams have so many difficult decisions coming up, as it pertains to the 53-man roster that has to be finalized by August 29th. While there's plenty of time, between mini-camp (happening this week), additional practice/joint sessions + pre-season, it's never too early to start determining who's not going to make the cut. Based on their previous roster decisions from years prior and the position each player currently stands in, we carefully crafted a 53-man depth chart, inclusive of every player that's currently in the building, and the 53 that we believe will help this team get to where they need to be. Enjoy, and let us know which decisions you agree/disagree with!

The Rams have been working through their new plan and getting to know plenty of new faces over the past 2-3 weeks with OTA's beginning on the 22nd of May. It's interesting to hear their approach, how challenging it is to onboard a multitude of players, and the updates we're getting from OTA's (which are always overwhelmingly positive). From there, we wanted to look past the month of June/July and evaluate which 3 players we believe are poised for a much larger role (leadership role) in 2023. The three players listed all could be massive contributors for this team, will indefinitely guide the younger players and have a ton of upside for 2024 and beyond.

The Rams' 2023 season feels like a gamble in its own. They're going to roster a boat load of rookies/undrafted free agents and expect their players who've been in the system for 2-3 years to step up significantly. Vegas only has the Rams listed as favorites in 5 of their 17 games regular season games, and two of them are against the Cardinals. But what about the following: Rams to make the Playoffs? Aaron Donald to win his 4th DPOY, making him the only player in league history to do so? Cooper Kupp to lead the league in receiving yards? How about the odds on MVP of the league: and where does Matthew Stafford sit? All included in the latest.

The Rams' 2023 schedule was released yesterday, and it's considered to be somewhat difficult after the Rams finished in 3rd place in the NFC West last season. 4 of their first 5 matchups are against playoff teams and are only slated to play in two prime time games, which is the same amount as: Carolina, Tampa, Cleveland and Tennessee. We took the time to go through each opponent, inclusive of their performance in 2022, how they've managed so far in free agency/the 2023 draft, and their expected win/loss totals. From there, we determined a final record prediction that is most likely dependent on a few balls bouncing our way.

The Rams' 2023 draft class will certainly be one to remember -- even if it's just for the fact that they made a total of 11 picks on Day 3. With a total of 14 picks after trading back four times and trading up once, the Rams came away with some really good value in later rounds, and definitely opted towards finding foundational players/building the roster inside to outside vs. risking top picks on skill players (like they have done in the past). We'll have to see how some of these players look once they're on the field with Aaron Donald, Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp, but we have a lot of confidence in their methodology for this draft specifically, and believe a handful of these players will be legitimate contributors in the very near future.

Our 3rd and final mock draft is LIVE with only 2 days left before the #nfldraft! We came away with 13 total players after trading back with the Carolina Panthers to get into the 4th round and stockpile more later round picks, featuring big names like: Felix Anudike-Uzomah, Tank Dell and Payne Durham. With this being the final mock, we tried to compile a mix of players that would check off BOTH boxes, coming off our latest episode where we featured both the Shiny Toy and Future Core draft methodologies. Knowing the Rams, a trade back and focus on offensive skills players are almost a given. But, what else will they end up doing that nobody is expecting? Link to the big board, follow along with us this weekend! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...

Allen Robinson was traded earlier this week and the Rams will take on a majority of his salary for next year and only a 7th-round pick swap in return. It's considered to be a really bad free agent signing (OTC calls it one of the worst) and then, a day later, we find out Jalen Ramsey would've re-structured his deal with the Rams (per a deleted tweet of his). Additionally, with the 2023 NFL Draft only a week away, we dug into the big board and produced TWO mock drafts, one of which is called "Shiny Toy" (heavily focused on offensive skill players early) and the other is "Future Core", which is focused on building a sustainable roster with talent at multiple positions (moving away from the top-heavy methodology). We believe we'll get some mix of both. Follow along on our Rams Big Board for more #nfldraft updates: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1k5KQkuGp-Wl5rxRIy9gb3Czficax_u89Fw6U2zAyqQ8/edit#gid=0

Our very first mock draft(s) are live within this episode, featuring what we know about who the Rams have already met with (either virtually or in-person) and how the Rams should go about prioritizing as they're working their way through the draft board. We also put together some hypothetical trades that we could see before/during the draft which could bridge the Rams' rather large draft gap in between picks 77 and 167. With only 17 days to go until the draft, the Rams really have to start focusing in on who it is they want to take, and if/when that specific player will be available once they make their selection!

The Rams are in a solid position when it comes to setting themselves up for 2024. But where does that leave them in 2023? Well, for starters, they need to really execute on the upcoming draft. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being overly prepared, flooding your big board with talent and drafting players that can help mold the state of your franchise for the next 4+ years. Additionally, as this big board continues to be carved out, there are a really good amount of late round steals that the Rams could execute on if they play their cards right late in the draft. And in that situation, with the experience they have: we have all the trust in the world. Well, at least for right now.

Your suggestions were heard via Twitter, and we listened (for the most part). As a result, a Rams Brothers Big Board was born -- the first ever of its kind, and it's packed with insight. Once the two of us really started putting our heads together and started taking into consideration how many defensive players the Rams have recently lost, coupled with players they've already had a chance to meet with and some of the other characteristics they like to focus on in the draft, the board started coming together fairly quickly. And with that, we pieced together a long list of players that we'd like to see the Rams pursue in rounds 2-7. This "Big Board" is a working file and will continue to be revised over the next 3-4 weeks as we prepare for the 2023 draft: in the meantime, feel free to access and add your insights! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1k5KQkuGp-Wl5rxRIy9gb3Czficax_u89Fw6U2zAyqQ8/edit#gid=0

The Rams' front office has been very forthcoming of the Rams' recent transactions. Les Snead addressed the Rams' media team 3 weeks ago to lay out the blueprint for 2023-2025, and Kevin Demoff followed up over the weekend with a letter to all Rams fans, addressing the recent departures, the organizations mentality over the past 6+ years, and their willingness to fight for long-term, sustainable success after winning a Super Bowl in their home stadium. Some believe it's admirable and trust the organizations decision-making, and others are overly cautious of what's to come. Additionally, we cover off on the most recent former Rams who've departed to new organizations, as well as the compensatory pick process and how it affects the 2024 draft.

The Rams have lost almost everyone to free agency, with the exception of Coleman Shelton. The others (Matt Gay, Nick Scott, Greg Gaines, Baker Mayfield, Matt Orzech, etc.) have found new homes across the league -- and the Rams aren't financially in a position to bring any of their main defensive talent back in 2023. With that being the case, the Rams need to nail the draft in 2023, with a HEAVY focus on EDGE and interior defensive line. One way to incentivize Aaron Donald to stick around (outside of the $60MM+ the Rams owe him over the next two years) is to surround him with young talent.

Jourdan Rodrigue of the Athletic joins the show to discuss all of the Rams’ moving pieces over the last 2 months, as well as their approach moving into 2023 and beyond via the draft and free agency. As it pertains to the offense, is there an update we should expect to hear on Allen Robinson being moved, and is the addition of Hunter Long (plus a very deep TE draft class in 2023) signaling the end of the road for Tyler Higbee? Is the offensive line, made up of shaky depth and late-round draft picks enough to protect Matthew Stafford this year? And flipping to the other side of the ball – is there another team in the league who’s going to be dealing with this much defensive turnover? All of the latest Rams news is right here!

Jalen Ramsey has finally been traded after 3 weeks of drama for a 3rd round pick and Hunter Long, as the Rams prepare for their roster re-model in 2024-2025. Ramsey won't be the last of their moves prior to the league year beginning -- look for players like Tyler Higbee and Allen Robinson to be either traded or released in the coming days as the Rams need to create roughly $10M in cap space before Wednesday of this week. Whether you're a Hunter Long fan or not, you have to find a way to be confident in the Rams' process and intent towards building a sustainable roster with less top-heavy contracts and a boat load of picks over the next few years. Little did we know that Sean McVay retiring would've led to a full-on organizational re-build. Which I don't think any of us were mentally prepared for.

De-funking the Matthew Stafford trade rumors with a Les Snead press conference was exactly what us Rams fans needed to hear today. Not only was Matthew Stafford the center of Michael Lombardi's discussion on the Pat McAfee show this morning, but he was claiming that the Rams themselves were reaching out to see if they could trade Stafford. While Snead proved that to be true, he mentioned there are many teams around the league calling them to see what their plan is with their roster. Meanwhile, Matthew Stafford was rumored earlier this week to be retiring, and having Tommy John surgery on his elbow. Don't believe everything you read on Twitter, kids!

Allen Robinson and Leonard Floyd were given permission to seek trades, as of this morning. Leonard Floyd was also told if a trade can't be made prior to the league year, the Rams will be releasing him to save on the 2023 cap. Although the salary cap increased over the past year, the Rams have some immensely difficult decisions to make: across free agency, and across their own roster BEFORE the league year begins on March 15th. How will they do it, and what are some moves that feel like they're bound to happen in time? They've certainly cut their losses and made some really tough decisions in years prior -- but this year, they really have their work cut out for them.

The Jalen Ramsey trade rumors are CONTINUING to circulate, and it's starting to feel real. Based on Ramsey's IG post today (drawing comparisons to Iverson's final days in Philadelphia) and the comments Ian Rapoport made on Pat McAfee's show today, the reports are very conflicting thus far. We take you through what a trade featuring Jalen Ramsey may look like by going back over the last 30-40 years and reviewing some of the biggest trades in NFL history. If the Rams are going to deal Ramsey, it has to be for a massive return, and an opportunity for the Rams to "re-tool" their core/roster.

The Rams and Bobby Wagner have mutually decided to part ways, in effort to provide Wagner with a full offseason in pursuit of his next destination. There are a few places that may be a fit for Wagner, but cutting ties really begs a much deeper question: how important is the middle linebacker position in today's NFL? Additionally, we dive into the potential for Robert Woods to come back to Los Angeles, and look at proven LT's who've been recently released to get a better understanding of IF the Rams should eventually look to upgrade the position that protects Matthew Stafford's blindside. All of that, plus some detail on when the Rams expect to finalize their coaching staff.

The Rams have until March 15th (roughly 2.5 weeks) to decide on which unrestricted free agents they're planning on having return for the 2023-2024 season, and there are roughly 5 or so that we'd plan on prioritizing. The others will either be commanding plenty of $$ in free agency, or just haven't produced enough in their time with the Rams. Additionally, we look at the other unrestricted free agents throughout the league, and what position groups need the most help -- are the Rams in-business to make another huge free agency splash at a key position of need?

The Jalen Ramsey trade rumors are starting to circulate -- but do we believe any of it to actually be true? Based on Kevin Demoff's most recent remarks, it seems the Rams may start thinking about moving Ramsey in the right situation. Additionally, we list three names that we really would like the Rams to bring on (Aubrey Pleasant being one) to help round out the coaching staff, and why Sean McVay's 6-year ride has been made increasingly difficult because of all the coaches that have been a) poached, or b) asked to leave on their own terms.

Rams hire OL coach Ryan Wendell from the Buffalo Bills, who spent his entire playing career with the New England Patriots. Now, the Rams are staffed up with two names who are familiar with the "Belichickian way" in Nick Caley and Ryan Wendell, and an offensive coordinator in Mike LaFleur who is very familiar with Kyle Shanahan and his system. The offensive staff is coming together, but where does that leave our defensive coordinator, who is being held hostage by Jim Irsay and the Colts, and our special teams coordinator? The Rams narrowed in on Nick Caley from New England, where he has 7 years of experience coaching TE's, FB's, and will act as an assistant to Sean McVay (which is similar to how Sean rose to be a top head coaching candidate). They're also looking at adding John Benton, who has coached in the NFL for over 20 years, and actually started his professional coaching career with the St. Louis Rams, coaching guys like Orlando Pace and Kyle Turley. Years later, he could be coming back to the Rams. Coaching changes around the league and how they're impacting the Rams (focused on Raheem Morris and where we think he'll end up), figuring out a way to re-tool our offensive line (and comparing to the way the Chiefs overhauled their unit upfront after the 2021 Super Bowl loss), and how the Rams are going to build their next phase of winning with a re-vamped offense under McVay/LaFleur.

The Rams’ coordinator search is continuing – as plenty of moves around the league are being made. We have our eyes on Raheem Morris’ next potential move, as he seems to be one of the favorites for the Colts’ HC position. Ejiro Evero is another name we’ve continued to watch, as he continues to be requested for interviews as a head coach. Outside of that, the Rams have to fill their special teams coordinator role, as well as their offensive line coach – which are two jobs that are going to matter immensely down the stretch. We also took some time to recap the AFC & NFC Championships, as we sat back and enjoyed the pain that San Francisco (and their fans) had to endure in Philadelphia. The Super Bowl is without a doubt going to be fun to watch – and will be an opportunity to keep “Nick’s Picks” alive and well, as they’ve been on fire recently.

There is a ton of speculation circulating around Mike LaFleur, the former Jets offensive coordinator, potentially joining the Rams' staff. Because it seems so likely (and the perfect match overall), we dug into what our offense may look like after installing some of LaFleur & Shanahan's philosophies. On the defensive side of the ball, we explore what the world might look like if Raheem Morris becomes the head coach of the Indianapolis Colts, while Ejiro Evero comes back to Los Angeles and joins forces (again) with Sean McVay, but in the DC role. Additionally, we previewed championship weekends and provided our LOCKS for each game in "Nick's Championship Picks".

The Rams' re-tooling process has already begun, with general manager Les Snead addressing some of the big vacancies that the Rams will inevitably have on the staff, as well as on the actual roster. Outside of recapping all of the divisional games, we addressed the pain the Rams' players & coaches must be feeling after watching SF go back to another conference championship game, while everyone is watching from home. The Rams can find a few UFA's, re-sign a few key players, bulk-up the depth on the offensive line and be right back in the driver's seat in no time... it just has to happen. And in time, we very much believe it will. Nothing seems to be off the table with this group -- and the fact that the core is still intact speaks to the lengths they'll go to re-create magic.

Wildcard Weekend is almost wrapped up - kicked off with a full weekend recap on the 5 games that were played across Saturday & Sunday. Then, we dug into Sean McVay and the really interesting decisions he has to make when it comes to his coaching staff, whether it pertains to current staff members like Zac Robinson and Thomas Brown, or outside candidates to fill the offensive coordinator role, like Mike LaFleur, Frank Reich, Brian Johnson, Scott Turner & others. Additionally, if Raheem Morris leaves to become a head coach, that will leave a second coordinator job up for the grabs, and a few familiar faces may be in play. The Rams fell 19-16 to the Seattle Seahawks in Seattle, ending their season with a 5-12 record and a TON of questions heading into the offseason. While a lot of younger players certainly stepped up in hopes to be along for the ride next year (Quentin Lake, Russ Yeast, Ernest Brown, etc.), there are a handful of veterans who have a very uncertain future. Aaron Donald, in particular, seems to be the one player who's linked to the core that still seems very undecided about playing next year. In the coach's room, Sean McVay and the Rams have a massive decision to make about Sean's future with the team. He's dealt with adversities in his personal life along with in his career that has led to a very exhausting existence. All in all - we want to know McVay isn't completely burnt out and is capable of coming back to coach. But first, he'll take a very long and well-deserved vacation to think it all through. He mentioned many times in his presser that "he's never been in this situation before", but very much believes he's not done coaching in this league.

Rams vs. Seahawks is always a must-watch game. There always seems to be SOMETHING on the line, even if one of the two teams are completely eliminated from playoff contention. This one is particularly interesting, because the Rams can simultaneously do the following things with a victory in Seattle: keep the Seahawks OUT of the playoffs, and potentially send Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions to the playoffs IF they're able to take down the Packers in Green Bay. Eyes will be focused on players named Bobby Wagner, Jalen Ramsey, Cam Akers, Baker Mayfield, Geno Smith, Kenneth Walker, D.K. Metcalf, Tariq Woolen and a handful of others. Additionally, we discuss Sean McVay's (potential) career change, our betting record through the season, and Nick's picks closes us out with his locks for the weekend.

After a short break, we're back to cover the Rams' 31-10 loss at SoFi Stadium (considered an away game for the Rams), which now brings them to 5-11 on the 2022-2023 season. It's the most losses by a defending Super Bowl champ in NFL history, while the Chargers improve to 10-6. But does it have the same feeling of a normal 5-11 season? To us, the priority at this point is putting together a legitimately competitive group, while still evaluating some of the younger players to see what they're capable of for next year. At the same time, there's still reason to be critical of the schematic side (especially defensively) - and how the Rams' final game of the season can impact the NFC playoff picture.

Smart coaching, winning at the line of scrimmage, a solid commitment to the run game and a little bit of what we saw with Jared Goff in 2017 & 2018 (schematically). Keep the gameplan simplified, capitalize on where the Packers are weak defensively, and bring them down into the depth of no postseason with us. Nick's picks are coming off a tough week, but had a shirt made in honor of his segment (that he shows off) and feels confident in this weekend's slate of games.

The Rams defeated the Raiders in dramatic fashion in SoFi Stadium last night, 17-16. It wasn't only Baker Mayfield's debut... but it was his debut after getting claimed 48 hours prior by Sean McVay and the Rams. In miraculous fashion (and after only putting up 3 points in the first half) the Rams' offense began clicking halfway through the fourth quarter and the Raheem Morris' defense simultaneously decided to play the best form of complementary football possible - while only allowing 67 yards in total in the second half. In one of the more thrilling games we've seen all season, it was the Rams who came away on top - and it was equality in part due to Josh McDaniels' coaching style down the stretch. Only one way to define it: "scared". The Rams meanwhile took plenty of risks - and they all paid off.

The Seahawks beat the Rams, 27-23 and improve to 7-5 while the Rams drop to 3-9 and have lost 6-straight games, which is the worst start for a reigning Super Bowl champion in NFL history. The Rams now have to do some continued digging and look at their current roster to see how they're going to approach the offseason. While a handful of players outperformed our expectations, the end result wasn't what we wanted to see (after being in position to win), but there were some signs of life on both sides of the ball. #MondayPain is continued & we sneak in a Raiders preview as well on a short week.

The Rams are back at home this weekend to face a familiar foe in the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks are struggling, too, after failing (in Munich) to beat Brady, resting for a bye week, then losing a tough game in overtime to Josh Jacobs and the Las Vegas Raiders. But that three-week stretch is nothing compared to the Rams' 5-game losing streak they're currently battling against, and another winless November's in consecutive seasons. HOWEVER, it very much feels like Seattle's defense against the run (and defense in general) is suspect and taking away Geno's favorite weapons on third down could be a recipe for a Rams victory. Also, Nick's Picks chooses another handful of winners for this weekend after going 3-0 on Thanksgiving and 4-0 on the weekend.

The Rams' recent struggles aren't a huge surprise to #rams fans, knowing how decimated they've been by injuries. But to lose 5-straight and fall to 3-8 after winning the Super Bowl is a massive fall from grace. We dug into how the Rams' core can stay intact, players we've been watching closely to see if they can cut it on next year's roster and featured 5 fans on the new weekly segment of #MondayPain. #podcast #nfl

Plenty to unpack after another loss against the Saints, as the Rams now drop to 3-7 on the season. With Matthew Stafford now dealing with multiple concussions in a three-week span, it seems the Rams' season is fading quickly. There's plenty to watch for, though: specifically looking for a large handful of players to show they belong on the roster for next year. We also discuss what the potential pitch would sound like to keep the core intact, we go through the contributions from the fans on #MondayPain, go through Nick's Pick's of the Week (for Thanksgiving), and preview the Chiefs match-up next weekend. The Rams travel to New Orleans this weekend to play the Saints -- in a game that both teams need to win desperately. The Saints seem like they're in complete disarray after their loss to Pittsburgh, but the Rams have lost 5 out of the last 6 games and are freefalling in a very similar fashion. The important questions are: who's going to replace Cooper Kupp, how will the offensive line hold up, and will people still be blaming the defense if the offense is incapable of moving the ball? Luckily (as we mentioned before) -- the Saints are dealing with ALL of the same problems. Who comes away with a win this weekend? We're both leaning towards the Rams.

There's no question about it - the Rams are struggling mightily. In a game that didn't feature Matthew Stafford or Kyler Murray, the Rams managed to put 17-points on the board (7 of which were in garbage time) and lost their most important offensive weapon in Cooper due to an awful throw by John Wolford, and a questionable hit by Marco Wilson. In the 27-17 loss to Arizona, the Rams' offense (once again) looked like a shell of what it once was, and it's obvious that they need a massive overhaul going into next season in order to keep the window any sorts of open. There are too many pieces (moving in the wrong direction) for the Rams to fix their issues immediately -- it's going to require a deep evaluation from some of the best, and most proven guys in the business.

The Cardinals (3-6) are traveling to SoFi Stadium to face the 3-5 Rams on Sunday. Many would argue that the whole season (for both teams) comes down to this game, and both may be without their starting QB's. The Cardinals are coming off a really tough back-to-back losses to the Vikings, and then the Seahawks this past weekend, and have lost 4 of their last 5 -- which means they're as desperate and as hungry as ever to beat up on the team that knocked them out of the playoffs last year. We dig into the injuries on both sides (and potential impact), why we wish McVay drafted and developed a QB over the past couple of years, how the Rams' offense could potentially simplify the gameplan and win by keeping the ball on the ground, the Cardinals' defense without Budda Baker -- and we jump around the league for Nick's Picks of the week (featuring a NEW theme song).

The Rams' struggles continue as they drop another game on the road to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 16-13. Record is now 3-5, and we're all forced to ask ourselves as fans - what's next for this team? In this episode, we dig into the Rams' stale, inconsistent and frankly boring offense (which is now ranked dead last in the league) and the "bend don't break" defense that seems to be criticized more than it should be - based on how McVay's offense has been recently performing. How do you get out of this mess, and what changes between now and the matchup with Kliff Kingsbury's Cardinals next weekend? Also, a brand-new segment called #MondayPain with 5 great listeners.

The Rams are currently 3-4 and are heading into Raymond James Stadium to face-off against Tom Brady and the Buccaneers. The Bucs are coming off a 27-22 loss to the Baltimore Ravens and are currently 1-3 at home and Tom Brady is coming off his first 3-game losing streak in 20 years. Is this a good sign for a struggling Rams team, who was dead silent during the deadline? We think so. That, plus the latest on Cam Akers re-joining the team, additional moves around the league and Nick's Picks (with a new theme)...

The Rams fell short in their home stadium in what was their second chance this regular season to beat the 49ers. In a situation that we believed was plenty winnable (with the 49ers dealing with a handful of injuries) - the Rams squandered away a 14-10 lead and ended up allowing 21 unanswered points in the second half of this game. We discuss some of the key moments that could've swung momentum in our favor: Ramsey's forced fumble, Higbee's drop, etc., as well as how we underestimated the severity of our roster turnover and overestimated out ability to out-scheme our biggest rival. Additionally, we welcome a new segment called "Overreaction Monday" where fans commented in, we read their tweets and see if their reaction was justified.

The Rams are hosting the 49ers in SoFi Stadium this weekend, as they get ready to face off against their biggest rival for the second time in less than a month. There's no doubt that the Rams have come off their bye week much healthier, as the 49ers are currently struggling with injuries to some key players on both sides of the ball. We get into how the Rams could potentially set themselves up for victory in this game (hint, don't completely abandon the run early) and utilize the pieces that were missing in the first match-up against these two teams. Both teams enter the week with .500 records or below, but this is a game that will identify weaknesses for the Rams, and how they can go about handling the trade deadline on November 2nd. If they can figure out a way to win AND identify where they need help for the rest of the season, that's a big week for our squad. Oh, and Nick's Picks has his new (and best) theme song tee'd up for this episode.

The Rams are on a bye week, but that didn't stop us from speculating trade scenarios around the league, and how they could potentially unfold to benefit the Rams. The latest odds/news on Odell Beckham Jr., Cam Akers, Melvin Gordon, Christian McCaffrey, Brian Burns, Robert Quinn, Bradley Chubb and any other potential trade scenarios that could happen before the trade deadline. The Rams may only be a few pieces away from putting the puzzle together again, so we spent some time speculating and staying optimistic prior to prepping for 49ers week. Additionally, Nick's picks has a new theme song, and helps you select your winners for the week.

The Rams defeated the Carolina Panthers, 24-10 in SoFi Stadium to snap their two-game losing skid against San Francisco and Dallas. Going into the half losing 10-7, Rams fans were boo'ing the Rams as they jogged into the home tunnel. There was a lot of animosity, based on the fans' expectations of this team coming off a Super Bowl victory. But after the half, the Rams' offense adjusted and came out firing with a complimentary and evenly dispersed effort by Matthew Stafford & the Rams' receiving core. The defense allowed their lowest point total (3) since 2017. The pieces are starting to come together a bit while starters who were injured are getting an extra week to rest-up for 49ers week. Are the Rams a finished product at this point in the season? Not even close.

The Rams are currently 2-3, with the Panthers looming on Sunday. We preview the 1-4 Carolina Panthers, who've just lost their head coach and (seemingly) their starting quarterback in Baker Mayfield. Long behold, their interim head coach (Steve Wilks) has been around quite some time, and there's plenty of reasons to get behind P.J. Walker, who we've seen play well in this league before. If the Rams can attack the left side of the offensive line and keep Walker uncomfortable, they may find themselves back in the win column. It's difficult to sustain a legitimate pass rush when each of the two quarterbacks you've faced get rid of the football in 2.5 seconds, but this one's a bit different.

The Rams have dropped their second straight game -- this time to the Dallas Cowboys, who seemingly had something to prove defensively all game. They knew there was a major weakness upfront (due to a boatload of injuries), and they immediately took advantage. Outside of additional offensive line help, it's fair to start questioning some of the play calls, player usage and schemes, considering how badly bruised this team is upfront. Their offense was forced to change, but at times -- it still tries to revert back to what it once was last year. There's a major identity crisis going on, and it's one that we believe McVay and Snead are willing to solve (with a little help from their "friends").

Full Cowboys game preview is live, starting with the Cowboys' offense (lead by Cooper Rush). If the Rams are able to implement the same type of defensive gameplan the 49ers used against us (allowing Kupp to get his and limiting others), does the offense have enough to win this game and get back to a winning record? Cowboys fans are calling their defense this year: "the best they've ever seen", and with the amount of star-power and speed they have, it may cause issues for the Rams' offense. Creative ways to get the offense jumpstarted is necessary (with limited personnel upfront), but suggestions are to be had in this episode. Nick's Picks also lists off his three weekly winners and his lock of the week to try and win us all some cash.

The banged-up Rams didn't fare well against the 49ers in their home stadium for the long-awaited NFC Championship rematch, as they were defeated 24-9. With three legitimate opportunities to score in the redzone, the offense wasn't sharp enough to convert and made a crucial mistake down the stretch on telegraphed screen to Cooper Kupp. The defense did what they could, considering defense back depth was hurt and Jimmy G was getting rid of the ball in 2.23 seconds (on average). Aaron Donald finished with 5 tackles and 2 for a loss, but they weren't able to generate any sacks or turnovers in crucial moments. We'll see them again in 4 weeks!

The NFC Championship rematch is finally here. The Rams' biggest rival, the 49ers, are hosting them on Monday Night Football - in a game where there are no true implications except ownership over the NFC West, and pride. We take you back to the three match-ups against the 49ers last year, what went wrong in the first two and how the Rams went onto hoist the Lombardi in Los Angeles. Additionally, we'll dig into who the 49ers are throughout the first 3 games of this season, who the Rams have become so far and why we believe this game could resemble a combination of what we saw in last years match-ups. Nick's Picks will also introduce a new theme song and take you through a handful of winners this week, after coming out of last week winning 4 of 5 bets.

The Rams took care of business against the Arizona Cardinals and improved to 2-1 on the season (and have won 10 of the last 11 match-ups against Kliff Kingsbury and the Cardinals). McVay's offense continues to evolve and add new layers - specifically in the run game, where we saw players like Cooper Kupp and Ben Skowronek lead the way as blockers, pass catchers and threats to beat you on the ground. Cooper Kupp comes away with his first-career rushing touchdown, and Aaron Donald comes away with his 100th sack. Additionally, we'll dig into the "bend don't break" methodology that Raheem Morris has instilled, and why it worked to perfection against Kyler & Kliff.

In the latest, we preview the 1-1 Arizona Cardinals, who have lost to the Chiefs in Arizona, 44-21 and miraculously beat the Raiders in overtime, 29-23 (1-1 record). The objective for both teams is to attempt to start fast, and keep your foot on the throttle. The Cardinals have been outscored 40-7 in the first half and opponents have scored on 8 of their first 10 first half possessions. There's a legitimate opportunity for the Los Angeles Rams' "new look" offense to expose Arizona early, and hold on to the lead... IF they can continue to find ways to marry the run & pass game and progressively implement a true run scheme that controls possession/keeps the ball out of the hands of Kyler Murray. Nick's Picks also comes with a brand new theme song, and a fresh slate of WINNERS.

The Rams win 31-27 at home in a game that was full of unnecessary stress towards the end. In a full Falcons @ Rams game recap, we'll take you through each series, where we saw improvements, and where there was room to make corrections. The Rams' offense was near perfect in the first half, but the offense and special teams unit made crucial mistakes down the stretch and the defense had to take over when it mattered most. The combination of Aaron Donald, Jalen Ramsey and smart coaching in the last few minutes led to a 1-1 record for the Rams, with the Cardinals on the schedule next weekend.

Detailing what happened in the Bills @ Rams game, why Matthew Stafford isn't successful when only four pass rushers are getting home, Allen Robinson and Cam Akers' usage, the offensive line woes + their depth that we'll see on display vs. Atlanta. On the other side, we dug into Aaron Donald, the Rams' lack of pressure on the front, Bobby Wagner's debut and Ramsey's post-game comments about focusing on man late in the game vs. zone. The season is upon us. J.B. Long said it best in the latest Rams post on social media “Defending champs cling to past glory, while reigning champs dictate the future”. How will the Rams respond to the "Super Bowl Hangover"? Well, we feel like big media is discrediting the Rams, solely based on their roster losses from last year. But when you dig into the detail and preview the match-ups, you start to wonder why there isn't the same kind of talk in Buffalo. With the Bills being the unanimous Super Bowl favorites - isn't the pressure now on them to win in the same house where the Rams live and won Super Bowl LVI? That remains to be seen, but there's plenty of reason why to like the Rams in this game. Nick's Picks also goes through the full slate, and picks out his winners (inclusive of NEW theme music).

The Rams hosted the Houston Texans last night for their second preseason game. Both the Rams’ offense and defense faced the Texans first-team offense and defense — consisting of players like Davis Mills, Nico Collins and Obo Okoronkwo. The backup QB controversy continues, but how are other players progressing this preseason — specifically guys like Logan Bruss, Brycen Hopkins, Kendall Blanton, Daniel Hardy and Lance McCutcheon (to name a few). What we’re seeing from the Rams’ offensive line depth may be troublesome, but they’re certainly making up for it with depth in other areas. Specifically, at defensive back.

The Rams kicked off their season with a preseason game against the Los Angeles Chargers. There were a ton of unknowns going into this game, particularly if we were going to see players like John Wolford, or Tutu Atwell on the field. Additionally, we dug into the 4 Rams RB's who received carries on Saturday night's game, how rookie Logan Bruss faired in his first-ever live game action, how the rookie DB class rallied around each other and created a solid foundation to build on, why Daniel Hardy has a legitimate chance to earn snaps this season, and so much more. With the Super Bowl now being in the rearview mirror, this Rams team is primed to repeat, IF they can get themselves off to a good start by re-signing their priority players. All in, PART 2.

The Los Angeles Rams finally ended the 49ers season in SoFi Stadium (final score: 20-17, Rams) in one of the most dramatic NFC Championship games of all time. Being able to advance and overcome adversity was important for so many reasons. It ended the doubt we all had about Sean McVay against Kyle Shanahan. The Rams ended up keeping the 49ers away from playing a Super Bowl in their home stadium, while simultaneously keeping them around long enough to kill as many tough opponents along the way. The Rams needed to re-engrain themselves in Los Angeles, and with a potential Super Bowl win looming, it's safe to say that all of our chips are still on the table. The trip to get there, though, is one to never be forgotten.

The Rams are hoping that the third time is a charm as they prepare for the 49ers to head into SoFi Stadium on Sunday for the NFC Championship game. Despite going 0-6 over their last six match-ups against the 49ers, Aaron Donald and the Rams feel like they have no other option but to end the team that's given them the toughest time. The story can't possibly write itself better: not only has Matthew Stafford been playing the best football of his career - but Cam Akers is out for redemption, and Sean McVay has every weapon in his arsenal to keep the 49ers defense guessing. We can predict what the 49ers will do offensively, but it'll take an elite effort from the Rams' pass rush, a dedicated effort on the ground from the Rams' offense and some big momentum swings to defeat the team (and coach) that has had our number for three years.

The Los Angeles Rams are advancing to the NFC Championship. In the process, they've ended Tom Brady's season, and have presented themselves with an opportunity to host the team that has given them nightmares over the past three seasons. Regardless, this episode was focused on what the Rams were able to accomplish during the most relentless weekend of football the world has ever seen. Not only was Matthew Stafford, Sean McVay, and the Rams' offense prolific (when they weren't coughing the ball up), but the Rams' defensive front (primary Von Miller and Aaron Donald), left Tom Brady with a bloody lip and a ton to think about this offseason. Later this week, we'll be previewing the 49ers with a handful of special guests.

The Rams are coming off an explosive 34-point performance against the Arizona Cardinals that has even convinced some of the talking heads in the national media that the Rams are here to stay. Matthew Stafford had one of his best games of the season in the Wild Card Round, as well as going back to Week 3 of this year, when the Rams broke Tom Brady and the Buccaneers 10-game winning streak (dating back to the year prior). Fast forward to today, and despite the Buccaneers dealing with injuries to key players, there are still plenty of reasons why the Buccaneers could win at home. Regardless, we elaborated on which portion of the Rams' defense Brady will look to expose, and how to end his season properly.

The Rams were able to silence a ton of hate on Monday night. Specifically the hate geared towards players like Matthew Stafford, and Odell Beckham Jr., who've never won a playoff game over a combined 21 years. All of the negativity ended in a big way against the Arizona Cardinals, as the Rams exploded to a 34-11 victory at SoFi Stadium. Not only were the Rams dominant when they had the ball offensively, but their defense (specifically their front-7, led by Aaron Donald), was next-level dominant. The game was in control of the Rams from start to finish. Now, they'll look to carry over the momentum into Tampa Bay to give themselves a shot at the NFC Championship.

The Rams were dealing with the very beginning of a COVID outbreak the last time they faced Arizona, and were still able to come away with a win on the road. Without Ramsey, Higbee, Havenstein and Brian Allen, Sean McVay called a game that was led by a true run-first mentality, along with well-timed play action that allowed Stafford to throw touchdowns to his three receivers: Kupp, Beckham and Jefferson. Fast forward to Monday night, and the Rams will be facing off against an Arizona Cardinals team that has to travel back to SoFi Stadium, and has very limited playoff experience. The biggest storylines will be focused on Matthew Stafford and Kyler Murray specifically, but what does Sean McVay have to do in this game to get his quarterback in rhythm, and the Rams back on track for a deep playoff push? The answers lie within this episode. Also, Nick's Picks are coming off of its first undefeated week of the year, and there are a couple of plays that he would love to see you make some money on.

The Rams had an opportunity to end the 5-game losing streak against the 49ers at home, with a chance to lock up the 2-seed in the NFC and win the division simultaneously. A Cardinals loss still allowed the Rams to clinch the NFC West, but this specific loss to the 49ers seemingly shattered any hope of a deep playoff run and extended our losing streak to Kyle Shanahan and the 49ers to 6 games total (3 years of regular season games). While there is still plenty of hope to be had, we'll discuss McVay's conservative playcalling in big moments, Stafford's shortcomings, the interior offensive lines bad day, why the defense doesn't deserve a ton of criticism, and what to expect from the Rams moving forward.

The Rams are facing a pivotal Week 18 match-up against the 49ers. They've lost 5-straight to Kyle Shanahan and the 49ers, and have an opportunity to win the division/lock up the 2 seed with a win on Sunday. With home field advantage and plenty of momentum on the line, the Rams will have to flip the 49ers' game plan on their head, and prove to themselves that they can put their biggest division rival away. Additionally, we'll discuss 5 reasons why the Rams are in a better situation to beat the 49ers (opposed to when they faced them in November), specific match-ups to watch, what to expect from the Rams' defense, and Nick's picks of the week!

The Rams won their 5th game in a row at M&T Bank Stadium this past Sunday, improving to 12-4 over a now 8-8 Lamar Jackson-less Ravens team that was fighting for their playoff lives. We were able to make the trip up, enjoyed every second of it (including the time spent meeting fans), and things continue to look up for us Rams fans as we head into a pivotal week 18 match-up against the 49ers. "5" is now the magic number as we look ahead. It’s the amount of times the 49ers have beaten us in a row. It’s the amount of games we’ve won in a row, as well as the current spread (favoring the Rams). 5 is also the number of games that remain if the Rams have true Super Bowl aspirations. In this episode, we discuss some of the big takeaways from the win in Baltimore, Matthew Stafford's tale of two halves, the star-power stepping up in big moments, and dig deeper into potential playoff scenarios and seeding.

The Rams are now 11-4 heading into the last two weeks of the season, with the Baltimore Ravens and the always tricky San Francisco 49ers to finish up. They're coming off of a huge road win against the Minnesota Vikings that featured three interceptions by Matthew Stafford, another 100-yard performance from Sony Michel, a punt-return touchdown from Brandon Powell, Travin Howard's resurgence (in the absence of Ernest Jones), and the star-trio of Ramsey-Donald-Miller shined brightly. The month of December was a great month of football from the Rams, and what they were able to overcome (injuries/COVID) is what's considered to be most impressive. As they look ahead to January, their tallest tasks are right around the corner. And the first step is taking care of former-MVP Lamar Jackson in Baltimore this weekend.

The Rams play host to the Seattle Seahawks on Tuesday night, after a massive COVID outbreak affecting up to 25 Rams players PLUS staff members forced the league to postpone the game from Sunday to Tuesday. While many Seahawks fans believe their team is now at a disadvantage, the Rams have been preparing virtually over the last couple of days and will expect to get a large chunk of players back over the weekend. Regardless, Sean McVay has to make sure his team is prepared, entering a very difficult stretch of games and the NFC West division title on the line.

The Rams were able to improve to 9-4 last night in a Prime Time win over the top seed in the NFC, the Arizona Cardinals, who’ve now fallen to 10-3. Last night wasn’t just any old win for the 2021 Rams. They’ve now strung together back-to-back wins and have created a brand-new, balanced identity offensively, combined with a dynamic pass rush that's packed with star power, and a young linebacker in the middle who the whole roster seems to trust. December football hasn't always been kind to the Rams and Sean McVay, but even in the midst of a COVID outbreak, they still seem poised and well-coached enough to make a deep playoff run.

The Rams hosted the Jacksonville Jaguars, and were able to improve to 8-4 with a brand-new look offensively, and a new star of the show: Sony Michel. Michel was the Rams' first 100-yard rusher this season, and McVay was able to incorporate a more physical approach at the line of scrimmage, which paid dividends for the Rams on both sides of the ball. Dene & Nick dug into the new scheme, and if it's sustainable moving forward.

The Rams will take on the Jacksonville Jaguars at SoFi Stadium on Sunday afternoon. With the Rams looking to put the entire month of November behind them, the Jaguars present a unique opportunity that should allow for McVay and Stafford to get back on track. Dene & Nick dig into Sean McVay's tendencies, habits, and play calling ability, the lack of run game, why fans are calling for Raheem Morris to be fired, and the opportunity to improve on Special Teams.

The Rams (7-3) are heading into Green Bay for what feels like a playoff game against the 8-3 Packers. The biggest storylines over the past couple of weeks have been opponents injuries, and the Rams' true identity heading into the back-half of the season. While the injuries the Packers are dealing with are certainly crucial, it's up to Sean McVay and the Rams' offense to come out more prepared than they have in previous weeks, and with a game plan that features a little of what Tennessee and San Francisco did to beat them. While Matthew Stafford has struggled in Prime Time, it'll be very simple for him to to take his foot off the gas, and take what the defense is giving him. If you combine that with an established run game, it'll allow for the Rams to possess the ball longer and will keep the defense rested.

The Rams have fallen to 7-3 following an awful loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night. The Rams Brothers (alongside Taran Killam) had the intention to celebrate the fact that this is the 100th episode of the show's history, but the Rams themselves have lost 5-straight to the 49ers (bringing them to 1-2 in the division on the year) and have a massive identity crisis at hand. While they've added the star power of Von Miller and Odell Beckham Jr., they're still struggling to win at the line of scrimmage, run the ball consistently, hit on explosive plays, and play within themselves. The bye week has never been as important as it is right now, as coach McVay has to look within himself and work collaboratively with Matthew Stafford & co. to figure out a way to right the ship.

The new-look Rams are heading to Levi's Stadium on Monday night to take on the 3-5 San Francisco 49ers. While the 49ers have swept the Rams over the past two years, we're dealing with two completely different rosters, and an injury situation that Kyle Shanahan & co. can't seem to overcome. With the addition of Von Miller (who we'll potentially see on Monday) and Odell Beckham Jr., the Rams' roster is now built for a Super Bowl run. Dene & Nick dig into the current state of the 49ers, injuries, keys to winning the game, how OBJ changes the Rams' offense, the impact of Von Miller, and try to predict what type of game plan we'll see on Monday night from Sean McVay. Nick also digs into a tough slate of picks after going 2-3 last week.

The Rams welcomed the (now) 7-2 Tennessee Titans to SoFi Stadium for Sunday Night Football. While everything was staged for the perfect night: Isaac Bruce receiving his HOF ring in front of sixty thousand fans, Matthew Stafford having the opportunity to separate in the MVP conversation with a big night in prime time, and Nick being interviewed by Jake Reiner of CBS LA prior to the game starting - but the Titans, Mike Vrabel and Jeffery Simmons had different plans. In this episode, Dene & Nick dig into McVay's recent comments about the offense, Stafford's off night, the interior offensive line and Tennessee's game plan. Special guest Jake Reiner also joins to discuss the personality of this Rams team, his level of optimism, his thoughts on bringing in OBJ, and much more. Now, the Rams find themselves at 7-2 with San Francisco on the slate for Monday night, followed by a bye week, then the Packers in Green Bay. Tennessee, meanwhile, is the outright owner of the #1 seed in the AFC. We'll hope to see them again in February. Brought to you by Golden Road Brewery and MyBookie!

The Rams are welcoming the 6-2 Tennessee Titans to SoFi Stadium for Sunday Night Football. The Titans currently own the #1 seed in the AFC, is second in the AFC in points scored (only trailing the Buffalo Bills by 2), and are coming off of an incredibly emotional, in-division, overtime victory over the Indianapolis Colts to increase their win streak to 4. Dene, Nick & Ryan dig into the implications of the Derrick Henry injury, the addition of Adrian Peterson, game planning against Von Miller & Aaron Donald, Ramsey's in-game assignments, Tennessee's vulnerabilities at defensive back, and much more. Nick also lays out his picks for the week, including a Rams/Ravens teaser, after finishing last week 4-1.

The Rams took on the now 1-7 Houston Texans over the weekend, but the main storyline of this episode is very much focused on the Rams' recent acquisition of Von Miller. Dene and Nick dig into the defense prior to the move, how much Miller will help to take attention off of Donald and Floyd, creating game-long (and season-long) mismatches with top contenders, and how different Raheem Morris' defense will look with Miller in the rotation. Additionally, we discussed Henderson's progression in the run game, Ernest Jones' impressive debut, Joe Noteboom filling in for Andrew Whitworth, and why McSnead will be praised (and copied) by the end of this year.

The Rams are traveling to Houston this weekend to face off against the Texans. The Texans are 1-6 currently, and are in "sell" mode before the deadline. They've recently traded Mark Ingram, and Brandin Cooks recently tweeted about how upset he is with his current situation. Dene, Nick and special guest Rich compare the current Houston Texans situation to the Rams of old, the Rams' current special teams situation, where upgrades are needed, and what we're expecting to see on Sunday. Additionally, Nick goes through his round of picks in hopes of cashing in on the underdogs.

The Rams hosted the Lions this past weekend at SoFi, and it was packed with all of the incredible storylines that we mentioned in our previous episode. The Lions were able to get off to a very fast start, but the Rams' offense (led by Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp) proved to be far too much for the Lions to handle in the end. Additionally, we discussed the news on Goff's foot injury prior to the Super Bowl, Cooper Kupp's historic start, the Rams getting back to their traditional 11 personnel ways, the Kenny Young trade, and Cam Akers' potential return.

The Rams are hosting an 0-6 Detroit Lions team, but this isn't just any old 0-6 Detroit Lions team. For starters, it's a coming home party for four previous members of the Los Angeles Rams who left in the offseason: Jared Goff, Michael Brockers, Aubrey Pleasant, and Brad Holmes. It's also the first time that QB's Matthew Stafford and Jared Goff will be facing off against their former teams. There are so many storylines and question marks as to how this game will unfold, how players and coaches will interact with each other, and how receptive fans will be to Jared Goff and Michael Brockers coming back home to SoFi Stadium. Also included is a Stafford and Goff head to head comparison, reaction to McVay and Campbells's recent comments, and Nick also includes his picks for the week, where he mentions he will not be "betting the mortgage" again like he did last week.

The Rams went into MetLife Stadium and dismantled the New York Giants, who've now fallen to 1-5 on the season. We discussed in our latest episode how the Giants had been bitten by the injury bug, as it continued to be the narrative throughout this game. WR Kadarius Toney limited off the field during the Giants' first offensive possession, and from there on out -- it was all Los Angeles Rams. Dene and Nick discussed the progression of Taylor Rapp and Robert Rochell, and why this was by far their easiest assignment of the year (but a necessary one). Also discussed is Kurt Warner's tweet on Matthew Stafford's no-look pass, Sean McVay's inability to break the game open early with scripted series, looking at what the Cardinals did against the Browns, and speculating on the on-field drama that will be happening next weekend at SoFi Stadium.

The Rams head into MetLife Stadium to face the 1-4 Giants. The Giants were bit by the injury bug against the Dallas Cowboys last weekend, and now have to face the Rams without Saquon Barkley and Kenny Golladay. The Giants have found ways to lose games this year, and after their performance last year at SoFi, we were led to believe they were on the path to taking the next step. Dene and Nick dig into the Giants' poor play on the defensive line, the impact of Blake Martinez's injury, James Bradberry's massive regression, Kadarius Toney's meteoric rise, Andrew Thomas' status, and much more. Nick also continues riding his unorthodox betting tactics in the "Nick's Picks" segment of this episode.

The Rams were coming off of a tough loss to Arizona, and had to travel to Seattle to get back on track. They went into Seattle, were able to contain their offense, knocked Russell Wilson out of the game, and did enough offensively to come away with the win. Dene & Nick spend time trying to understand what happened with the offense through their first 4 series in this game, replayed Stafford's interception, evaluated Sean McVay's lack of aggression with first half play calls, and why the run game was so effective. Additionally, Dene & Nick dug into what makes Terrell Lewis so special, Aaron Donald becoming the all-time sack leader for the Rams, Rochell & Scott's contributions, and a struggling special teams unit. Nick also takes us through a difficult slate of bets this weekend, and why he believes introducing a "teaser" is his secret to success. The schedule ahead leaves the Rams with plenty of room to improve upon an already successful campaign (NYG, DET, HOU, TEN). Let's see how they handle it.

The Rams hosted a very talented Cardinals team over the weekend, and completely got knocked off their spot after an impressive win vs. Tampa Bay. The Cardinals offense was overwhelming for the Rams' defense to say the least, so Dene & Nick dug into why the Rams had such an issue containing Kyler when they've shown the ability to do so in the past. Also included is Raheem Morris' comments on David Long Jr.'s performance against Arizona, ways to improve the defense, Jalen Ramsey's ever-changing role, Aaron Donald's lowest pass-rush grade of his career, and how to bounce back against Seattle. Dene & Nick strongly believe that Seattle has all of the makings of a .500 football team, so it's going to be on the Rams to right the ship on Thursday night.

The Rams play host to current MVP-favorite Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday afternoon, and are looking to increase their undefeated record since 2017 to 9-0. Dene and Nick dive into the 3-game sample size that Arizona has put out, including their deficiencies on the interior defensive line, injuries to three starting offensive lineman, and the addition of Quinton Dunbar. Jalen Ramsey's role is also further evaluated, as well as the Rams' defensive backs huge responsibility of covering the likes of A.J. Green, DeAndre Hopkins, Rondell Moore and Christian Kirk (who currently leads all receivers in yards from the slot). Nick has also been hot with his picks (going 4-1 last week) and looks to increase his overall win percentage to over 75%.

We'll discuss Stafford's cap implications, a potential new deal, Jared Goff's dead money, and how the Rams are managing the 2021 salary cap. Additionally, we'll discuss the restructures of Andrew Whitworth, Jalen Ramsey, Aaron Donald, Cooper Kupp & Robert Woods, the re-signing of Leonard Floyd, Johnny Mundt and the 1st round tender placed on Darious Williams. The Rams' approach to FA has been limited due to cap restraints, but we'll discuss Austin Blythe's situation, the positions we feel need the most attention over the next month and a half, as well as why Leonard Floyd's prorated, backloaded contract has been the standard for the Rams.

Episode 77 details (Goff & picks for Stafford, insane 2+ week timeline) Jared Goff and three draft picks have been traded to the Lions for Matthew Stafford. The Lions will receive the Rams’ third-round pick in 2021, their first-round pick in 2022 and their first-round pick in 2023 in what is the first exchange of former No. 1 overall picks in the common draft era (since 1967) The Lions are taking on the four years, $106.6M left on Jared Goff’s contract which was a MASSIVE part of this trade, and that’s the part that Les Snead said he was hung up on a few days ago. So, they got that part ironed out, then had to throw in 2 1st’s (which the Rams clearly don’t value) and one of their three comp picks from this year to sweeten the deal How Matt Stafford fits into the Rams offense - Stafford has top-5 arm talent, he can throw outside of the numbers, he can change arm-angles, and has a massive edge athletically over Jared Goff. Matthew Stafford wants to push the ball down the field, and there’s no question that McVay wants to do the same thing. Matthew Stafford also is really good on the move and out of play-action, and can literally do everything out of structure. I think he has much better pocket awareness, can avoid defenders, can extend plays, and can convert long down and distances because of it. It’s going to create a much more efficient offense Goff vs. Stafford head-to-head stats: deep passes of 20+ yards down the field, air yards per attempt, air yards per game, big-time throws, turnover-worthy plays, quarterback ratings, turnovers. Insane rollercoaster: 16-day timeline - 5 coaches and 2 front office members poached in roughly two weeks. Since, the Rams have hired two new coordinators in Morris & DeCamillis, and traded their $134M quarterback and former 1st overall pick to the Lions for Matthew Stafford -- who was the first overall pick back in 2009.

Episode 76 details (Rams lose to the Packers in the divisional round, lose Brandon Staley to the Chargers and the issues between McVay & Goff) Full recap of divisional game in Green Bay: Sean McVay's offense in the red zone, utilization of wildcat formation, hook & latter two-point conversion, and scheming high-percentage throws for his QB. Rookies continue to step up: Van Jefferson & Cam Akers each score touchdowns, are responsible for the two-point conversion that put the Rams within 1 score. The impact of not having a fully healthy Aaron Donald on the field, missing Cooper Kupp and David Edwards due to injuries, and why we already can't wait for the rematch next season when the Rams are at full health Saying goodbye to Brandon Staley, why it's so difficult to say goodbye to the guy who was only coaching for the Rams for such a short period. Sean McVay's "coaching tree" continues to grow, starting with Matt LaFleur, to Zac Taylor, to Brandon Staley (and eventually others). Who we should expect to take the open coordinator position (internal and external recommendations) and why we feel like the Rams are capable from recovering from the loss, and quickly The biggest story line of the last 24 hours: Jared Goff and Sean McVay's relationship needs "marital counseling", according to Steve Wyche of NFL Network. Why this relationship has gotten increasingly worse over the last 4 or so weeks, and where the Rams will go from here A bizarre tweet from ESPN Los Angeles, who is discussing the idea of trading Aaron Donald for Deshaun Watson. Why we think the idea is far too ridiculous to actually happen, and why we think there's a better chance of Goff being moved for Watson

Episode 75 details (Packers Preview & Nick's Picks of the Week) Aaron Rodgers vs. the Rams’ Defense: pre-snap looks, rotating in coverage, when to blitz, their most frequently used coverage, and why we should expect a wide variety of looks to prevent Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams and Aaron Jones from exploiting them in any way. Stopping the run when always having to account for the pass: LeFleur's tendencies, similarities to McVay/Shanahan - clog gaps, make tackles, and winning at the line of scrimmage. Davante Adams vs. Jalen Ramsey: the national media should be focused on Jalen Ramsey, opposed to Davante Adams. Ramsey so far this season has shut down: Cooper, Diggs, McLaurin, Robinson, Evans, Hopkins (2x), Metcalf (3x). How we can expect the Packers to utilize Davante Adams, if Ramsey locks him down early on. Rams offense vs. Packers defense: remembering last year, when Jimmy Garoppolo completed six passes in the NFC Championship, and the 49ers ran for 285 yards and went to the Super Bowl - how the Rams can somewhat duplicate that effort. Jared Goff wearing two gloves and his attitude towards the media recently. Also, we'll discuss Aaron Donald's injury, Cooper Kupp/David Edwards listed as questionable, Goff ACTIVE & starting, Wolford OUT. Nick's Picks of the Week!

Episode 74 details (Wildcard win over the Seattle Seahawks, Rams advance to play the Packers in Green Bay) Sean McVay extends his record when leading at halftime to 37-0 and his playoff record to 4-2, while also handing Pete Carroll his first playoff loss at home - and he did it with a quarterback who had surgery on his thumb two weeks ago Remembering the history of "Let Russ Cook" and "Mr. Unlimited", and why the Rams' defense (led by Aaron Donald, Jalen Ramsey & Leonard Floyd) was Russell Wilson's kryptonite this season The Rams' defense had 12 defenders grade a 68 or better, according to PFF.com, and Jalen Ramsey wasn't even one of those players. Why Brandon Staley's defensive scheme and game plan has benefitted not only the "stars" (Donald, Ramsey) but has developed players like Reeder, Fox, Joseph-Day, Nick Scott and Greg Gaines into productive players. Rams offense, led by Cam Akers, Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods. Cam Akers ran for 131 yards, added another 45 receiving yards and really carried the offense. Akers was productive because of the offensive line, and McVay's usage of 12 & 13 personnel. Cooper Kupp & Robert Woods were targeted a total of 17 times, Kupp caught a 44-yard pass over Jamal Adams, and Woods scored in the 4th Escaping, but barely: Donald, Wolford, Kupp, Edwards all listed as day-to-day Questions we'll answer on Thursday: Who will be under center on Saturday for the Rams? Can the Rams reproduce this game and avoid turning the ball over in 25 degree weather, at Lambeau Field, with fans in the stands? How will Aaron Rodgers fare without his LT? How will Jalen Ramsey handle Davonte Adams, who leads the league in YAC? Are you STILL not following Nick's betting advise? If not, your chance at redemption is this weekend!

Episode 73 details (Seahawks Wildcard Weekend Preview) & Nick's Picks of the week!) Rams vs. Seahawks so far in 2020, the season series is tied, 7 of their last 10 meetings have been decided by single-digits. What to expect from Seattle this weekend: how the Rams can continue to prevent D.K. Metcalf. The first time the Seahawks faced the Rams, he was close to nonexistent. He’s had less than 65 receiving yards in each of his last 4 games. Seattle's Biggest Weakness: the Seahawks pass defense ranked 31st in the NFL at stopping passes over the middle and 27th at stopping short passes entering the final week of the season, per Football Outsiders, and how the Rams can exploit it the third time around. Coming back from injuries: Andrew Whitworth, Cooper Kupp, Michael Brockers, Micah Kiser (potentially). Kiser, Kupp and Whitworth were all out in Week 16's match-up. Jamal Adams' status is still "up in the air". Random questions - will Jared Goff start? If he doesn't play well, how much will the media be discussing his regression? How does Andrew Whitworth perform after being out for 6 weeks? How can the Rams offense get back on track and return to form in time for a playoff run? Nick's Picks of the Week!

Episode 72 details (Cardinals recap, clinching the 6th seed, discussing John Wolford's first start & more) John Wolford's debut: John Wolford is the first NFL quarterback in the Super Bowl era to throw for over 200 yards and run for over 50 yards in his NFL debut. Absolutely battled after the interception, in which he blamed jitters, and was in control of the entire rest of the game Sean McVay's strategy on how to avoid announcing who the starting quarterback will be until Sunday, and why it may make sense to bring Wolford into the game if Goff starts and struggles. Also, who we'd prefer to start and play on Sunday Brandon Staley's defense: D'Marco Farr's tweet on why Rams fans should be loving what they're seeing defensively (led by Jalen Ramsey and Aaron Donald) How Brandon Staley's usage of specific personnel, formations and looks have brought to the Rams to very top of the "elite defenses" list, how it complements the offense, and why the Rams' defense is statistically better than Seattle's Why Rams fans should be excited about being an underdog (+4.5) vs. Seattle, and how Seahawks fans are already showing signs of concern on social media

Episode 71 details: (Seahawks recap, introducing John Wolford & discussing a potential QB controversy) What went wrong in Seattle: how the Rams' offense (led by Jared Goff) has been abysmal since beating the Cardinals & Patriots in back-to-back weeks Jamal Adams' comments on the Seahawks being "the best defense in the NFL", and how the tides have shifted since the Rams' last match-up in Seattle on November 15th, 2020 Why we believe that Sean McVay has become somewhat complacent after he finally beat Bill Belichick. After the game vs. New England, we were sold on the fact that Sean McVay had another 10 chapters in his playbook that were untouched to that point Why the John Wolford vs. Jared Goff conversation will continue all offseason if Wolford performs well against Arizona Implications of moving on from Jared Goff if the Rams decide to move in another direction this offseason (contract makes this entirely too difficult) The back-up QB phenomenon: why John Wolford reminds Rams fans of Vince Ferragamo, Kurt Warner and Marc Bulger Introducing John Wolford & what to expect from him: discussing his college experience at Wake Forrest, his AAF experience with the Arizona Hotshots, the New York Jets and the Los Angeles Rams

Episode 70 details (Jets recap & NFC playoff seeding as it currently stands) How Adam Gase and former St. Louis Rams Linebacker coach & interim Jets defensive coordinator Frank Bush managed to outcoach Sean McVay and Brandon Staley 10 days after dismantling Bill Belichick's Patriots Jets defensive front dominates Rams offensive line when in pass protection and when attempting to establish the run: Quinnen Williams, Nathan Shepherd, Frankie Luvu, Tarell Brasham & John Franklin-Meyers compile 11 tackles, 8 QB hits & 3 sacks The (now) 1-13 Jets were better than the (now) 9-5 Rams in the following categories: passing & rushing first downs, 3rd & 4th down efficiency, total plays, total passing yards, total pass yards per play, less sacks given up, more rushing attempts, less turnovers and won the time of possession battle by more than 9 minutes Detrimental moments: the punt block early on in the second quarter (Nick wants John Bonamego to be fired), handing the Jets back-to-back possessions on their own territory after an INT & blocked punt, first drive after the half for NYJ (11 plays, 72 yards, capped off with a Frank Gore TD), play calling on 3rd & 4 and 4th & 4 (which received criticism from Kurt Warner) and the inability to stop the Jets from getting a 1st down on 3rd and 6 late in the 4th quarter. Matt Gay's 4th quarter miss was negated by Troy Hill's pick six. Sharpening the iron: third down efficiency, establishing the run early on, mixing up concepts, playing mistake-free & turnover-free football Continuing to lean on the defense: how they should prepare for New England's rushing attack vs. what they've been preparing for & playing against teams with top tier passing attacks Interview with Evan Lazar: Difference in personnel vs. what the Rams saw in the Super Bowl (missing Trey Flowers, Danny Shelton, Adrian Clayborn, Dont'a Hightower, Kyle Van Noy from Super Bowl Roster) How the Patriots are preparing for the Rams' offense (scheme tendencies, coverage, rotations, common formations) and how they toyed with Josh Herbert What to expect from the Patriots' talented defensive backs: McCourtey twins, Stephon Gilmore, Kyle Dugger, Adrian Phillips, J.C. Jackson and how Bill Belichick will use a combination of those players to cover Cooper Kupp & Robert Woods Does Sean McVay have something up his sleeve to counter the 6-1 front, or should we be expecting carry over from Super Bowl 53? Borrowing Belichick's defensive scheme to stop Kyler Murray and the Cardinals offense, limiting his ability to run Ramsey vs. Hopkins: the Heavyweight Fight of the Year Injury report: both teams relatively healthy heading into this game, might be the first time Larry Fitzgerald misses a game vs. the Rams since 2004 The owner of Matt Patricia's "burner account" is a member of the #Ramily Nick's Picks of the Week

RBTP47 is titled: "Bad to the Bone" because we are loving the original, one-of-a-kind "bone grey" uniform that was (FINALLY) released yesterday. The episode starts with us talking through the schedule and its quirks. But, the leading story here is the uniforms, so we allocated a significant amount of time to the new look. After a 4-year wait and an overwhelming amount of anticipation, Jared Goff accidentally spilled the beans and told Houston Astros third basemen Alex Bregman that the uniforms were being released "tomorrow" (in reference to May 13th) on a Fortnite twitch stream. Goff then scrambled and mumbled "sometime this week", but the news had already traveled through the social media airwaves and Rams fans throughout the world were excited beyond belief to get a glimpse of the new-look. We discuss Kevin Demoff, as he went on a few ESPN radio shows to discuss why this was such a drawn out process and involved so much detail, and we also discuss (former) Rambassador Eric Dickerson's reaction and Super Bowl MVP Kurt Warner's reaction to the rebrand as a whole.
Additionally, we talk to THE NEW Rambassador, Jim Everett (crowned by us) to give us his initial gut feeling to the rebrand. Jim also ranks the 6 other teams' uniform updates, he discusses which 4 players he would put on the grand stage from the 1980's to present the new look, he tells us a story about Georgia Frontiere's idea to add lime green into the Rams color scheme, he discusses why Eric Dickerson once referred to him as a "corporate pimp", and takes us through the challenges of the schedule.

RBTP46 is titled: "Post Draft Feels" because we're coming off of one of the most interesting drafts in recent history for the Rams. Not only was it unpredictable, but it was extremely entertaining considering the circumstances. And to be honest, we all needed some form of football back in our lives. Nonetheless, the Rams have consistently provided us with entertainment all offseason, and the draft was no exception. But before we dove into the draft, we discussed the updated salary cap after restructuring Goff and Havenstein, officially signing Robinson and Floyd, Orlando Pace's reaction to Tremayne Anchrum's number selection and Clay Matthews filing a grievance against the Rams. After those topics are discussed, we dive into the profiles of the inaugural 2020 draft class, and discuss why we believe a few of them could be immediately impactful in the upcoming season.
Additionally, we welcome Cam DaSilva to the show (managing editor of the Rams Wire) for his second appearance, and allow him to dig even deeper into the new draft class. Cam discusses his opinion on draft grades from the national media, how he would grade the draft, what he may have done differently, who he believes will be most impactful vs. developmental, Louis Riddick's comment on how well Cam Newton would fit into Sean McVay's offense, and much more. A lot of the information that Cam discussed is also featured on www.theRamsWire.com.

RBTP45 is titled: "Stache-ing Draft Picks" because of Jared Goff's recent Zoom call with reporters where he revealed a masterful quarantine mustache and Les Snead's remarkable ability to stockpile draft picks in later rounds. Over the past two weeks, a lot of news has been broken, starting with the Rams deciding to trade Brandin Cooks in exchange for the 57th pick in the draft (2nd round), Jay Glazer announces Brian Allen's COVID-19 diagnosis during his FS1 show, an inevitable Jared Goff contract restructure, the and new uniform reveals of the Browns, Buccaneer's, Falcons & Colts.
Additionally, draft expert Sosa Kremenjas joins us to break down his big board, and all of the prospects that he thinks would be great fits for the Rams. Sosa has studied this draft class inside & out, so he's able to help us in predicting the most likely outcomes based on Les Snead's draft history and the Rams' biggest needs in 2020. Sosa also provides us with a full mock draft, based on his big board that is published on TurfShowTimes.com.

RBTP44 is titled: "It's not just a logo", because there is so much more to the Rams and football than just their new logo & color scheme. That being said, we truly sympathize with all the Rams fans who are struggling with the new brand identity and outlook for the 2020 season at brand-new SoFi Stadium.
In this episode, the Rams Brothers (and their dad) discuss the Michael Brockers physical situation and how it compares to Rodger Saffold's deal in 2014 with the Oakland Raiders, the highly anticipated Vic Fangio x Brandon Staley defense and how Staley will utilize new FA's/specific personnel, Losing Greg the Leg Zuerlein, how recent FA moves impact the cap, the logo drama, Demoff's variety of trolls and Eric Dickerson's interview on AM570. We saved the logo reveal for last, because Rams fans are completely up in arms in the middle of a pandemic regarding the reveal. We give our extremely honest feedback, and explain why there's so much more to re-brand than "just a logo".

RBTP43 is titled: "Mourning the loss of Todd Gurley" because we received breaking news that Todd Gurley (& Clay Matthews) were going to be cut while we were in the middle of recording this episode. The news broke 45 minutes into this episode, but prior to the breaking news, we discussed: the new CBA, the free agency frenzy, roster shake-up, managing the cap and the trade rumors that were led by Todd Gurley and Brandin Cooks.
It's hard to imagine a team being 2 years removed from losing the Super Bowl releasing players who were key contributors to their appearance. But, the NFL is a business over anything else. And the Rams need to find a way to get back so that they can continue to prove to their fans that they're committed to winning. We'll also address our outlook to the 2020 season and quickly discuss the logo drama (before it was officially released).

RBTP42 is titled: "Family, No Matter What" in honor of captain Andrew Whitworth's post-game speech to close out the 2019 NFL season for the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams were able to sweep the Arizona Cardinals for the third consecutive year, but it wasn't enough to sneak into the playoffs. The Rams were the only team out of 13 teams with winning records to miss out on a playoff bid, finishing the season with a winning record at 9-7. The Rams Brothers (and head coach Sean McVay) believe that although this season didn't quite live up to expectations, that missing the playoffs was a "blessing in disguise" heading into the 2020 offseason. With plenty to be concerned about, it's fair to wonder if the Rams will ever return to their 2018 form - with lingering salary cap questions, big-time contracts to restructure, and free agents to prioritize over the next few weeks.
In this episode, the Rams Brothers play the role of "Twitter GM" (as some would say) and look very closely into next years' salary cap, suggest roster moves that could clear up a ton of cap for 2020 and recommend players to trade. Additionally, we discuss the future of the coaching staff, and why the Los Angeles Rams were reluctant to send assistants or coordinators to the podium following their victory in the final home game at the Coliseum. There is plenty of concern over bringing in additional help for Sean McVay (an offensive assistant or analyst that won't call plays but can help adjust schemes and tempo mid-game), retaining Wade Phillips and all of his glory and the implications of losing his experience on the staff, and moving on from Jeff Fisher's special teams brain-child, John "Bones" Fassel. It is all addressed in the final #RBTP episode of 2019. Enjoy!

RBTP41 is titled: "Better Days Ahead", because the Los Angeles Rams were officially eliminated from playoff contention on Saturday night against the San Francisco 49ers (despite a Minnesota loss) - final score: 34-31. After a completely disheartening finish to the season, the Rams Brothers dissect the loss in San Francisco, specifically because the Rams put together one of their most complete games of the entire 2019 season. As this very season has taught us time and time again, untimely turnovers and inconsistent play on both sides of the ball will lose you games when you aren't the most productive offense in football. And as we all know, the Rams failed to replicate the same level of offensive success that took them to the Super Bowl last year.
Aside from the loss in San Francisco, the Rams Brothers feature J.B. Long's list of 2019 accolades, dig deep into the salary cap: specifically Mike Silver's article (of NFL.com) that mentioned "multiple internal shake-ups to the coaching staff" & Todd Gurley as a "cap casualty", and Bryan DeArdo's article (of CBSSports) that suggests potentially trading Aaron Donald for a first-round pick. Additionally, they break down the Twitter war between keeping Cory Littleton or Dante Fowler, keeping/parting ways with Wade Phillips and suggest offseason acquisitions that could allow for the Los Angeles Rams to improve defensively against the run (while keeping Wade's experience on the staff).

RBTP40 is titled: "The Ride is Stalling" because it metaphorically sums up how we’re feeling after the 44-21 blow-out loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Like we went to Disney World, found out that everyone’s favorite ride is experiencing technical difficulties and won't be available until next year. Prior to the loss in Dallas, the Los Angeles Rams were only a single game out of the 6th playoff seed and left us with plenty of optimism after the back-to-back divisional wins against Arizona and Seattle. But the Los Angeles Rams, led by Sean McVay, reverted back to the comfort of the 11-personnel grouping and felt no obligation to establish a run game early on. The Rams' inability to adjust scheme's mid-game proved to be detrimental, and the Cowboys proved to be the more desperate team.
The Rams Brothers dive into what ultimately led to the Rams' demise: An unbalanced pass/run ratio (leaning heavily on 11-personnel), the defenses' inability to get to Prescott/stop the run, and letting Tavon Austin score a 59-yard touchdown. Sweet, sweet revenge. Additionally, we dig into the 2020 cap situation, we feature 2 new segments: "Hate the Game, not the Goff", and "Rams Complain Line" (voicemails from Michael Williams and Tucker Booth). Where do we go from here, you ask? Well, you're about to find out.

RBTP39 is titled: "Shooting Our Shot" in honor of Andrew Whitworth and his confident post-game interview after the 28-12 win at home against the Seattle Seahawks. We’re beating a dead horse if we continue to say that this year has been an emotional rollercoaster, but the Sunday night victory against Seattle was a potential turning point to a disappointing and underwhelming regular season. The Los Angeles Rams now have a massive opportunity to turn the season around if they can win out. And as the great Taran Killam stated in his instagram post: THIS is drama, and this is why we love football.
Following up from our last episode: RBTP39 is packed with continued optimism and playoff aspirations, as we dig into our upcoming opponents (DAL, SF & AZ) and the possibility of the Los Angeles Rams finding their way into the postseason. On top of potential playoff scenarios and percentages, we discuss "idiot" Sean McVay, Jared Goff's ability outside of the pocket, the evolution of the 12 personnel grouping, how the defense should prepare for Dallas, the final phases of the Todd Gurley plan, NICK'S PICKS OF THE WEEK, and plenty more. Enjoy!

RBTP38 is titled: "Total Redemption", because the Rams decided to walk into University of Phoenix Stadium and totally redeem themselves after an embarrassing loss at home last Monday night to the Ravens. This season has been a true rollercoaster for Rams fans, but this episode is jam-packed with optimism and playoff aspirations because of the pure dominance that the Rams displayed, and Minnesota losing to Seattle in Seattle (which puts the Rams 1 game back from the 6th playoff seed). Throughout this episode, the Rams Brothers dissect the 34-7 victory in Arizona, break down the positives/negatives from both sides of the ball and continue with the original segment "Nick's Picks of the Week". Additionally, Steve Mason of "Mason & Ireland" and ESPN LA joins us to discuss how his Thanksgiving weekend was spent, the current outlook on the Rams, good/bad contracts, the future of So-Fi Stadium, and comparing the dramatics of the Rams to a popular T.V. show.
In the words of the great Jim Hill: KEEP THE FAITH! And in the words of the great Steve Mason: 7-5, we're still alive!

RBTP episode 37 is titled: "Losing Tells All", because we all just witnessed the worst home loss in franchise history to Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens. After coming off of a win against the Chicago Bears that seemingly corrected some mistakes, Rams fans were confident that Wade Phillips could put together a game plan that would prevent Lamar Jackson from scoring 6 TD's on 6 straight possessions. Nonetheless, an embarrassing home loss in the middle of a wildcard race poses a massive slate of questions, considering this team was built to be a Super Bowl contender this year. Starting with the Quarterback, the Rams Brothers dig into the deeper routed issues, from current cap situation, to good & bad contracts, a continuation on McVay needing additional support, and Les Snead's roster moving forward. The Los Angeles Rams were boo'ed at home last night, but we're extremely optimistic that there's pressure and urgency internally to remain a highly successful franchise moving forward.

RBTP episode 36 is titled: "Old Gold", in honor of Todd Gurley's post-game comments that he feels like "The Old Todd" again. Gurley, who has been nearly written off throughout the league continues to prove that he's healthy and willing to carry the team when called upon. The Rams beat the Bears 17-7 in the Coliseum in primetime to improve to 6-4 with a run-heavy approach that featured 133 total yards from Gurley & limited Goff to 18 total pass attempts. Based on the current state of both teams, desperation played a huge factor, and it was clear that the loser of this game would have to answer a ton of uncomfortable questions regarding the future of their franchise (specifically at the QB position). As the Rams continue to fight through a difficult back-half schedule, the Rams Brothers discuss the Rams' new-look offense, Trubisky's future/Ryan Pace's colossal mistake, the NFC playoff picture, full Ravens preview, and of course: Nick's Picks of the Week!
Featured topics in interview with Sosa Kremenjas: McVay/Offensive adjustments, honest thoughts on Jared Goff, the 6-1 defensive front, containing "Lamarvelous", the Ravens defensive scheme, comparing the Rams to the Dallas Cowboys & more.

RBTP episode 35 is titled: "We're Kind of Used to It" in honor of Todd Gurley's post game interview following the loss in Pittsburgh on Sunday. The Rams lost 17-12 (and move to 5-4 on the season) in a game that left far too many questions and little to no answers. In the first 20 seconds of this game, the Rams were up 7-0 after the Steelers gifted them a touchdown on a snap over Mason Rudolph’s head. But after that, points were very difficult to come by. Throughout this episode, the Rams Brothers discuss: the injuries to and future of offensive line, Todd Gurley's absence in the fourth quarter, Sean McVay's play-calling (and why he needs help), McVay's new "coaching tree", A brief Chicago Bears Preview, Nick's Picks of the Week & much more!

RBTP episode 34 is titled: "The Bye Week Special" because of the luxurious bye week that we were all able to participate in. Throughout this episode, the Rams Brothers and Locked on Rams Host: Brad Maher discuss the life of an athlete on a bye week; from Todd Gurley & his "Gurleywood" themed Halloween party, to Andrew Whitworth and his time spent golfing, podcasting with J.B. Long on "Rams Revealed", catching up with old friends and spending quality time with his family. From there, we discuss the NFC playoff picture, the legacy of Mike Tomlin, the match-up this weekend between the Rams & the Steelers in Pittsburgh, a potential NFL franchise "moving" to London (or STL), and of course: Nick's Picks of the Week!

RBTP episode 33 is titled: "8-0 in Our Damn Mind" because of Andrew Whitworth's post-game speech after receiving a game ball for playing and defeating all 32 NFL teams. Now that the identity is starting to re-form, the Rams head into a bye with a 5-3 record with 2 weeks to prepare for an underwhelming Pittsburgh Steelers team. Additionally, we discuss the win at Wembley Stadium, continuity on the offensive line, Cooper Kupp's dominance, Brandin Cooks' future, the trade deadline and the playoff picture. And how could we forget, Nick's Picks of the Week & our interview with Chris McLoughlin of the LA Rams UK Podcast! Chris discusses his weekend experience in London, meeting Kevin Demoff, Eric Dickerson & Torry Holt at Barrowboy & Banker, interacting with Rams fans from Germany, Spain, Bolivia, the Rams relationship with the UK, and Chris' outlook on the remainder of the season. Cheers!

RBTP episode 32 is titled: "We're onto Cincinnati" because the Rams handled Atlanta at home and are on the right path to rediscovering their identity in London against the Bengals. The Rams (now 4-3) are not only starting to rediscover their offensive identity, but they're starting to form a brand-new one on defense with the addition of Jalen Ramsey. If you're concerned about losing first-round picks (2020 & 2021) for Ramsey, just continue to watch him closely and take a look back at some of the early first-round picks under Snead's tenure. Additionally, we welcome David Edwards to the left side of the line, we feature a Marcus Peters tribute, Ramsey's interview with Deion Sanders, and we take a look at the current "playoff picture" in the NFC, and of course: NICK'S PICK'S OF THE WEEK! Nick was a perfect 6-0 last week and looks to continue his scorching hot streak. Let's see if the Rams can put together another complete game and advance to 5-3 in the toughest division in football.

RBTP episode 31 is titled "Rams Therapy" for very obvious reasons. The Rams Brothers are deflated after another tough loss at home to the San Francisco 49ers. They dig deep into the underlying issues and take a microscope to the offensive line with Rich Hammond of the Athletic. Additionally, the Rams Brothers weigh the national narratives; both positive and negative from the loss against SF, they feature the personalities of #RamsTwitter in the segment: "Rams Complaint Box", and of course: "Nick's Picks of the Week". The interview with Rich Hammond concludes with his gut feeling on how the Rams are going to end up this season. Let's remain optimistic, Ramily. There's a lot of football to be played!

The Rams Brothers are back after another tough loss in Seattle to the Seahawks, 30-29. The Rams are now in third place in the NFC West at 3-2 with an opportunity to snap San Francisco's undefeated record. The first half of the show is spent digging into what the Rams did exceptionally well on Thursday night, and where they might be seeing deficiencies. Additionally, the Rams Brothers discuss the trade rumors that are consuming Twitter, the Rams "new-ish" 12 personnel grouping, preview the 49ers, preview the upcoming schedule and jump back into "Nick's Picks of the Week".
What is happening in San Francisco seems too good to be true. The Rams are hungrier than ever for a win. Let's see what happens on Sunday in the Coliseum. Thanks for listening, Ramily!

The Rams Brothers are back after a tough loss at home to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 55-40. The Rams are now 3-1, but weren't the "experts" expecting us to lose at least one of our first three games? That aside, Tampa Bay fully exposed our weaknesses on all phases, so the Rams Brothers decide to provide a full game recap & break down exactly what went wrong. Additionally, we introduce our new segment via Twitter, called "The Rams Complaint Box", jump back into "Nick's Picks of the Week", and preview Thursday nights game in Seattle. This loss was described by the Rams as a "wake-up call" & "big slice of humble pie". Let's see how they respond this Thursday night in Seattle. Thanks for listening, Ramily!

The Los Angeles Rams are taking an "innovative" approach to the preseason this year. Despite a few early preseason losses, Coach McVay is confident in their roster adds, their decision to rest starters, and the depth at specific positions. McVay describes the issues they're having as "Champagne problems", meaning that most position groups are healthy, have depth and require key decision making. The Rams Brothers dig into Coach's recent press conferences, his on-the-field camera time during the game in Hawaii, A (potentially) new LA Rams Jet, Aaron Donald's Magnum PI debut, Former Rams that crossed over to the big screen, and our positives/negatives from what we've seen thus far over 2 preseason games. In an interview with Robert Forehand of Turf Show Times (@SeattleRams), Dene & Rob discuss Rob's history as a Rams fan, the Rams' overall preparation of this year vs. last and Rob's love for players from Washington (specifically Cooper Kupp & Taylor Rapp). Rob also discusses who he likes to make the 53-man roster, and the new series called "Un-Rapped", which gives us a look into Taylor Rapp's dream of inspiring & playing in the NFL.

The Rams Brothers are BACK in the middle of May, taking us through a full update from their last episode in late-March. Since, the Rams have drafted rare combinations of value & talent in Taylor Rupp, Greg Gaines, Darrell Henderson, David Long & some others that we'll discuss. We break down the current state of the NFC West & over/under predictions from NFL.com, and look into "Behind the Grind", featured on Facebook. Additionally, we dig into the History of Super Bowl losers and their potential to rebound the following season. The Cowboys lost in 71' but came back and won in 72'. The Dolphins did the same the next year in 73'. Since then, it hadn't happened - until, the Patriots held us to 3 points in Super Bowl 53. Is there a possibility that history could repeat itself, and the Rams could follow the Patriots to be the latest team to lose a Super Bowl, but redeem themselves the next year and WIN IT ALL?
The Rams Brothers are convinced that it is a strong possibility. #RBTP21
RBTP20 starts off with an in-depth offseason conversation from co-host/sidekick Nick & host Dene. The brothers are optimistic regarding the progression of the Los Angeles Rams on both sides of the ball as they add veterans in Eric Weddle & Clay Matthews. We also discuss the new Pass Interference Rule, the new contracts of Dante Fowler Jr., Malcolm Brown and Blake Bortles. Later in the show, Dene interviews author Taylor Kolste who just released his book on the Rams' offense - titled: "Breaking Down the 2018 Los Angeles Rams Offense". Taylor discusses his progression as a student of the game and as a future offensive coordinator. Anthony Lujan, son of Mark Lujan (members of the Ramily) is also interviewed for a few minutes as I ask him why he loves the Rams at such a young age & what the Rams mean to him.
RBTP19 was difficult for Nick & I to do after that gut-wrenching, heartbreaking performance in Super Bowl LIII. This season brought us more than just an NFC title, but memories that will last us a lifetime and promises to return.
