How are you ? If you said you are fine - this podcast is for you. Peering behind the curtain of the minutiae of life often reveals the automated nature of behaviour. Join Ashwini and Nithya as they attempt to decode the social script and the kaleidoscope that is human behaviour.
In this episode, we take a tour of a very familiar haunted house - the very house we live in. We explore how complex relationships between members of the family can often leave the house haunted. Sometimes we talk with no bounds and sometimes we choke - such is the nature of the topic of family and of conversions in families. We emphasise the importance of questioning within families and question ourselves of the ideals we hold.

A young person in today’s world grapples with the tough balancing act between idealism and cynicism towards life and future. There is seemingly an apocalypse just round every corner. In this episode, we tackle what it means to grow up in this uncertain world. We also concur with Spiderman in his belief that we can embrace our self amidst the order and chaos through a leap of faith. Relevant Links: Who am I? We have all heard that the journey is more important than the end but in this episode, we flip the script to see how the end is what gives meaning to the journey. We look at what the world could be in the year 17776 and the challenges of a game that never ends. Ashwini explores what zombies can teach you about our fractured empathy while Nithya contemplates her decision to champion immortality.

Gather around folks. It’s time to spill the tea on what gossip is and what it means in the context of countless conversations. We are joined by our friend Rithika, who with her quick quips gives us a look into why gossip has a bad rap. We explore how gossip can strengthen friendships and can test them. Ashwini deconstructs the relationship between gender and gossip, while Nithya cooks up a metaphor of a meal regarding the exaggeration that underlies gossip.

In this episode, we are joined by our chirpy friend Divya. Together we explore, what it means to find love and where marriage fits into that equation. Ashwini goes on a tangent about how the characters in the show are many layers removed from reality. Nithya initiates a collective existential crisis on whether we will find love. We explore the aftermath of Indian Matchmaking and also ponder about why Indian matchmaking relies on face readers and astrologers (sorry, we mean aerospace engineers).

The colours around us present us with a wide spectrum of topics to talk about. In this episode, we take a look at what the study of colour looks like in a world without colour and we also talk about why the colour red can be both the cupid and the devil. We also attempt to answer why emojis are yellow? Nithya narrates the tale of her first day in college, while Ashwini digs deep into the everyday use of photographic filters for editing and what it really means.

This episode hits too close to home for us. We discuss how saying sorry has become not only part of our communication but also our identity. We realise the perils of oversaying sorry as Nithya recounts the time she told sorry to a table. Ashwini ponders over the idea of excuses and how it factors into forgiveness. We also discuss how apologies play a significant role in how we formulate social rejections to reduce hurt feelings, be it, romantic rejection or refusing a request. But research suggests otherwise. In the end, both Ashwini and Nithya resolve to say fewer but more meaningful apologies.

In this episode we discuss how lying has interwoven itself into most social interactions. How the pursuit of story worthy moments in life can be driven by lies and ultimately lead to a story that we tell ourselves about what life is. Nithya gives her take on why she plays little lying games in her conversations while Ashwini explains how she was tricked into going to school and the infamous weather machine at home.
