In this episode of Your Life in Focus, we will discuss initiatives to address disciplinary practices across the country related to boys and young men of color. The impact of high drop out rates, low or under-employment and low expectations for boys and young men of color cannot be ignored. As these youth begin their slow descent into the school to prison pipeline, we will look at initiatives that address increasing their capacity to address the complexities of their lives.

We invite our listeners to call in and give their opinion on the topics we discuss. We especially invite young men to call in and share their experiences.

Your Life in Focus is sponsored by Innovative Focus a 501 (c) 3 organization dedicated to addressing the needs of youth in our communities. Please visit their website at www.innovativefocus.net.
