The Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai Academy is a non-profit organization established in 1989. Torah study and Jewish education form the core of our classes.

The Academy is dedicated to personal, social and community transformation and growth through the universal wisdom and spirituality of the Torah as a blueprint for life.

The dean of the center, Mr. Joseph Melamed, has created a warm, non-judgmental atmosphere for Jewish people of all backgrounds and levels to explore their spirituality and build a personal and loving relationship with God.

Mr. Melamed’s mission in life is to teach and spread our Jewish spiritual values and bring about Ahavat Olam (world love / peace).
