This podcast focuses on introducing you to the vast world of women impacting their industries and communities. Unafraid of being called the 'B' word, we talk openly about the uncomfortable issues impacting women and gender inequality in business, politics, at home and out in the world.
So what hang ups do you have when it comes to power? What are some of the beliefs you have when it comes to money? Join our guests Nancy Sabino and Lori Anne Reaves as we detangle some of the myths and misconceptions we have around power and money and creating a mindshift for ourselves.
We all do a lot of preparing when it comes to finding a job. We hire experts to help us with our resumes. We do mock interviews so we know what to expect. We even network to find connections to get the interview. All of that is great and necessary and hopefully lands us that sought after 'You're Hired!" But what then?! What are you doing to make sure you not only keep the job but excel, grow and advance? We brought together Shannon Guild, Ginny Cheng and Rachel Cash to answer those questions and many more.
Today we are talking with four incredible women leading in the tech industry. Our guests include Directory of Technology at Eight Bit Studios - Katie Kelly, Product Manager at Amazon Air - Damiola Olutu, Director of Operations at Plus AI - Amisha Vadalia and VP & General Manager with Hewlet Packard Enterprise Hybrid IT Group - Krista Satterthwaite. Chidinma Aham-Neze led the discussion where these amazing women share their perspective of what it's like to be a female working in the tech industry, which includes a bit about their background, journey to their current position, successes, failures and lessons learned. They help break down any myths that might be out there regarding being in the industry as well as offering advice on how to get into the tech field.

I met Jessica earlier this year at a mutual friend's book signing party. We struck up a conversation about her podcast where she focused on having awkward conversations with women about their bodies. As we were talking I remember thinking "I want to be like her! So confident and courageous!" Flash forward a couple of months, I asked Jessica to be on the defining HERstory talk show about sex when she confessed that she was nervous about being on the show. I was surprised but also comforted. Here is someone I admire who was just as nervous as I was.
Over this year, I've been watching Jessica on Instagram and Facebook and have been watching this subtle change. So when I decided to do the topic of change, she was the first person who popped into my head. We had a great conversation about the subject of 'Change'. What does it mean to each of us and how do we deal with it.

As women, we've all been called it at one time or another. Probably more often that we can count. We probably remember the very first time we were called that...all the way back in our elementary school days. The dreaded 'B' word.....BOSSY.In today's episode we unpack the word from our early years to Sheryl Sandberg's movement to Ban Bossy.
