Why do some famous or influential people often choose to stay quiet? Leading from behind is more effective, especially when a person is working to untie their hands.
You cannot manage time. You CAN manage your priorities. Focus on your priorities more than trying to manage time.
Leaders have the task of leading organizations or individuals who are not all the same. One of best approaches to finding common ground is indentifying the "truth" that everyone can agree on.
As a leader there are days when you get everything right and then other days you get it all wrong. And it is ok...nobody is 100% perfect, that's the honest truth
Traveling to the airport for a flight (running late as usual) Byron shares about the need to know what you can do and what you should let other people do. Outsourcing is a good thing (in most cases).
If you are winning in a game, it does not guarantee that you will be victorious. Winning is not the same as victory.
People are complex. It is often hard to understand how a person can be seen as a "good" person in one area, and also do something that is "bad" in another area. A person is a great spouse, loves their children, but is a terrible boss, who is demeaning, vulgar and cruel. People are complex....
As a leader there are some things you are simply suppose to do. You may not get any accolades or a thank you because of what you did, but again it is what you are suppose to do. (I apologize for my tapping the desk, I think I got a bit passionate about this one lol).
It may cost you something to be a leader...have you counted the cost? Have you properly prepared? What are you willing to give up to be a change agent? #ColinKaepernick
