A podcast about the Cleveland Cavaliers, Browns, and Indians. Scott and Robbie report in from Boston, while Logan brings the takes from Ohio.
NFL Draft and Schedule talk--Browns, Packers, and program building (4:11) // Game of Thrones talk--breaking down the first two episodes from the safety of our crypt (31:40) // NHL Playoff talk--Columbus is actually good now? (50:28) // This Week in Sports (57:10).
Robbie and Scott preview the NBA Playoffs (4:00). Browns sign an old pal of Baker Mayfield, and a wily old Packers vet (25:00). Aaron Rogers will not stand for slander from the haters and losers, of which there are three (38:27). A little Tottenham in the Champions League talk for the lads (50:05). Robbie, wayyyyy deep down the Game of Thrones rabbit hole, offers his final season predictions. Scott scoffs at him. Who's right? (60:08). And a lightning round "This Week in Sports" with some big Cleveland sports memories (76:42).
Scott and Robbie return to check in on the Cavs with four games remaining. Then, they turn their attention to football with a Browns/Packers draft philosophy debate and breakdown of the bombshell Mike McCarthy hit piece that dropped on Thursday 4/4. The third segment explores the differences in fan culture between following Tottenham, a mid market soccer club that wins by investing differently, and the Indians, a mid-market baseball club that wins by investing differently. Finally, they check in on some great moments in sports history from the first week of April.
The Bottom Up returns with some big news! Scott's good friend Robbie joins the podcast as a regular host. He's a historian by trade with deep sports broadcasting roots from his time at Marquette. Growing up a Packers, St. Louis Cardinals, Marquette, Bucks, and Tottenham fan but married to a Cleveland fan, Robbie brings an insightful outsider's perspective to all things Cavs, Browns, and Tribe. We're excited to have him aboard as we branch out beyond just the Cleveland Cavaliers and NBA basketball.
Episode 3 Segments: 1) Are the Cavs tanking with Love and honor? [2:45] 2) Are the Cavs better off long-term with LeBron leaving? [11:34] Can the Bucks keep their own star in Giannis? [19:35] 3) Are the Browns building too fast, too furious? [33:52] 4) Do we care about baseball? [42:16]

"Tank or Try": The Cavs keep winning games with Kevin Love, and a vocal segment of #CavsTwitter is pissed. Should the Cavs be taking more directly, or with so many losses in the bank and new lottery odds are they right where they need to be? (25:31)
