Life is messy, so a dash of chaos is enough to set you over the edge. You're not alone.
There's a lot of things in life to experience, and I'm fairly certain I've had my share. I'm a single mom who works full-time, raising two boys, one on the spectrum, and in between all that I managed to find myself on the PTSA board, starting a nonprofit, and doing piles of laundry. Prior to this madness I had to deal with fighting Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. I'm currently working on weight loss, meditation, mindfulness and practicing gratitude. Anything to get me through the daily chaos. Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/thedailychaos/support

Its once in a lifetime for some of us. Let the silver lining shine and make the best of it. Whatever you decide, you do you, but be responsible and wear a mask please.

In this episode I walk though my process and my experience with intermittent fasting. After posting that this episode would be about my fasting process, I came upon an article that break it down, so here is the link to the article: https://www.timesnownews.com/health/article/ram-kapoors-weight-loss-transformation-all-you-need-to-know-about-the-168-diet-plan/453331?fbclid=IwAR2hL2Q9DVr9QXdVNKmGG5bqloeGMbHLYuFdjr4jtlUUxJH-dt-vb0DVJ4I I want to echo the disclaimer that is in the article: Disclaimer: Tips and suggestions mentioned in the article are for general information purpose only and should not be construed as professional medical advice. Always consult your doctor or a dietician before starting any fitness programme or making any changes to your diet. I also talk about my post work out ritual and the meditation podcast that I enjoy listening to when I am recouping from my work out. I also listen to this a lot at bed time. Here is the link to that podcast: https://www.meditationoasis.com/podcast One last thing, here is the quote that I read that the opening of this episode, enjoy: The happiest people I know are always evaluating and improving themselves. The unhappy people are usually evaluating and judging other people.

In this episode I talk about about summer vacation ending soon, making a parent cry, and earthquake preparedness.
Trying to get back to the gym more before going back to work. I prefer working out in the AM especially with summer heating up!
Getting ready for work made me think about the time I made a parent cry. Not what I expected!
We had an earthquake and it made me realize how unprepared I was.

It's all about balance. And just when I found my new routine, summer break happens. Not a bad thing, but I usually get thrown off by changes and it takes me a few week to settle in..... and before I know it school and work will begin again. The only thing constant is change. Also, I talk about starting family meetings with my kids and my experience doing the Color Run 5k for the first time! Book referenced in his podcast: 7 Habits of Highly Effective Families Instagram post referenced in this podcast.

Life is what happens when your busy making plans ~ John Lennon
I've learned not to get too caught up in making plans because things are just going to happen. Take it in! The good AND the bad. As much as we enjoy when good thing happens, we don't the time to take the bad as a learning experience. Grow from it. Your gonna be OK.
