in today’s episode, i focus on the topic of chasing people: why we do it and how we can stop. we all deserve people who want to be in our presence and value who we are. we may know this, but still find ourselves running after people who couldn’t care less about us- people who give us minimal attention and fill us up with only bad feelings. it may be that we are attached to certain people because we are truly uncomfortable with the idea of them not liking us: what does that mean for us? once we change our assumptions of what it means for someone to not like us or value us, we can truly let go of people that were not meant for us and be with people that make us feel better.

today, i talk about how important it is to recognize our own humanness so that we can accept the humanness in others. sometimes we hurt, and sometimes we get hurt. we should never see life as black and white or “us vrs them.” someone hurting you doesn’t make them bad and it doesn’t even mean they meant to. even if they were aware of the pain they were causing you, they must have felt pain and confusion within themselves. people give what they feel inside. and haven’t you felt those same feelings? so shouldn’t you have sympathy? we are more alike than we would like to believe, and that is beautiful. we can relate to others in extraordinary ways if we allow ourselves to. forgiving doesn’t make their actions right, it just makes them human, like us.

in this episode, i talk about the importance of being happy for others. it’s crucial to have people in our lives that act as cheerleaders, people that are always cheering us on and are happy for our successes. if people aren’t happy for you, it truly means that they aren’t happy with themselves and you shouldn’t take it personally. try to cultivate and foster relationships in your life or people are truly genuinely happy for you.

In today’s episode, I talk about the importance of trying and putting yourself out there even though you have been hurt in the past. If we let past experiences dictate our today, we will never be happy. Allow yourself to be free from the negative self talk and doubts. get out there and start fresh. You deserve it.

Today I talk about the importance of being your own hero. The one person that is always (24/7) going to be there for you through everything, the only person that’s going to support you through the rocky roads, is the person you are when you look in the mirror. take back your power and stop asking others to do the work for you. own it.

in this episode, i talk about the importance of not being a victim in your own story. so many people believe that life happens TO them, instead of realizing they shape their own reality. with that thinking, you can never truly be happy. how you see the world can change if you put on different “glasses.”

today, i talk about how important it is to change the way we see relationships. having unrealistic ideas about what having a significant other will do to your life can result in us making our happiness conditional (i’ll be happy WHEN i find my person). how can we work to be equally as happy in and out of a relationship? because YES we can be happy without that. and in fact, happiness does not COME from a relationship. it all starts within, believe it, or not.
