Jesus came to see and to seek all of us who are broken, lost, unrighteous enemies of His. He came and lived a perfect life and demonstrated through that perfect life that He is here for fellowship for all broken people. We need to look for the Zacchaeuses in our lives, those who are hiding in plain sight.

Driven by the power of the Spirit, each day of our lives should be fixed on the Spirit’s role in each day of our lives. We have a relationship with God only because of the Spirit. We can only put Christ on display only because of the Spirit.

EVERYDAY is Resurrection Day. Christ is King. Not one day. But now.
Eventually everyone will bow before God, joyfully or mandatorily. We need to have hearts that are surrendered to His Kingdom. God puts His name on display in a world that denies He is King. Let us speak in love to those who mock God so that He may save them from His hand in the day of his return.

God is a god of mercy and kindness toward a people of unclean lips. Let us embrace others with the same mercy that He has given to us.

We are dead to the law. So we we should live sacrificial lives according the gracious and welcoming standard of having Jesus as our king.

In spite of us God loves us. He showed up to bring life when we were relishing in our march toward death. We need hearts that relish and take joy in that. That we wish show the world what it is to have that kind of joy.

We need reminding of the joys of having Christ as our master- the joy of being enslaved to him. We need to turn away from the bondage and temporary pleasures of the world. And do it with willing hearts and joyful minds that rejoice at every given moment of what it is to be resident at the feet of a King who is worthy.

We need reminding of what it is to have a King who a became us so we could he experience his just justification.

We are broken, image marred people. Yet we are God’s representatives. He chose us and connects with us. It is an awesome and humbling responsibility to represent Him. But we don’t have to do it alone. All we need to do is rest upon Him. And we need to live a life that reflects him.
