"Singing at the Clothesline" is a metaphor of how women have always found a way to create or find joy in their work and how their work, or life is their song. Our laundry is hung out for all to see and our song is the story of our struggles, joys, celebrations and sorrows. We hope to relate, educate and entertain!
It was suggested that I do some podcast talks about my life and work ( since finding quest speakers has been difficult during a time of social caution) So I asked folks on my Facebook to suggest topics. This is my first question! I hope we can all get back on a regular schedule and hopefully life will return to normal in 2021. I appreciate you listening and love every damn one of you!
Brooke made the journey of transitioning from male to female, after being born biologically male but identifying, in every way, as a female. She explains her struggles from a child to an adult and how she learned to embrace and be comfortable with who she was born to be. This was a live talk at the Seven Sisters Brewery in Wytheville,Va.
