Have you ever watched a show, thought it was fantastic and been perplexed when it didn't catch on? That would be a good way to describe the Hulu seven episode miniseries "A Murder at the End of the World." Possibly created to capitalize on the whodunnit nature of podcast murder and serial killer entertainment, the series follows a diverse cast as they try and solve the mystery who killed a guest at a remote hotel in Iceland. Part Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, part Murder on the Orient Express, this was one we were really surprised hasn't been more popular. There are spoilers for the show but not until after an audible disclaimer.

With nudity and graphic sexual content, the show is clearly NSFW and neither is this episode. Horror fans listen up! We've got a couple great ones on tap for you today. Dementia: Part II is a micro budget indie horror film written, shot, edited and scored in just five weeks. From concept to execution, it is awesome to know the story of how this film was made to to be able to see what they were able to pull off. On the opposite end of the spectrum, we talk about Netflix's Zach Snyder directed Army of the Dead. There's some interesting stuff going on with this one too most notably the late addition of Tig Notaro. If horror is your bag, give this episode a listen.

This week we split the episode between a documentary about 80's cowpunk icon Mojo Nixon and the AMC show Lodge 49. If you grew up in the 80's you most certainly have a memory of Mojo Nixon even if you don't remember it was him. Known for his irreverent attitude and outlandish videos, the documentary The Mojo Manifesto is all about his career and legacy.
On the other half we discuss the pre Falcon and Winter Soldier Wyatt Russell AMC show Lodge 49. Based around a beach bum's experience with a fictional fraternal order, the two season run was both odd and endearing. Not for everyone, it was certainly enjoyable for one of your hosts.
