On the show this morning we had the buildup to Ireland's opening game with England in the Six Nations next weekend with Ireland head coach Joe Schmidt and captain Rory Best along with England head coach Eddie jones and captain Owen Farrell. Jamie and Nathan spoke about their favorite WWE wrestlers ahead of the Royal Rumble, Chris Forrester spoke to jamie about his return to St Pats from Aberdeen this week and we also heard from Ireland U21 manager Stephen Kenny after naming his first squad since being appointed manager.

On this morning's show Jamie was joined by the Director of Sport for Special Olympics Ireland, Karen Coventry. She spoke ahead of the upcoming Special Olympics, which is being held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The games will see 91 athletes represent Ireland in a wide range of different sports. Karen shared all the information ahead of the games which are set to take place from the 14th to the 21st of March.

Manchester City and Ireland star Megan Campbell has had a torrid time with injuries over the past year with a serious knee injury rupturing her ACL 14 months ago. Speaking to Jamie on her come back to both City and Ireland, Megan shared her frustration at being sidelined for such a long time. However, she has come out the other side and is looking forward to getting back on the pitch helping Manchester City in their push to keep Arsenal ladies in second place to win the women's Premier League. She is also looking forward to the 'pride' of pulling on the green jersey of Ireland again.

Former Ireland midfielder Keith Andrews spoke to Jamie Moore on Now That's What I Call Sport on the International future of West Ham star Declan Rice. The man who recently turned twenty has been a main stay in the Hammers midfield putting in impressive performances. So much so Gareth Southgate and the English FA have approached the English born Rice about changing his allegiances to the country of his birth from Ireland. The midfielder played three friendly games under Martin O'Neill but because they were non competitive fixtures he has pressed pause on his future for Ireland to consider changing allegiances. Andrews reassures that the Irish lads would welcome Rice back into the fold with open arms should he declare for Ireland, stating the West Ham man is a 'captain in waiting'.

On today's show Jamie was joined by former Leinster and Ireland man Shane Byrne , Gary Ringrose and Leo Cullen on the Blues impressive win over Toulouse in the Champions Cup at the RDS. Padraig Harrington spoke on becoming the Ryder Cup captain for Europe in 2020 and Conor Pepper who plays for Glentoran in the Northern Irish Premier Division spoke on a horrific injury which kept him sidelined for over 2 years and almost ended his career at 22 years of age.

Conor Pepper is a professional footballer for Glentoran in the Northern Irish Premier Division. The 24 year old suffered a horrendous injury which saw him sidelined for 28 months undergoing numerous surgeries and being told he would never play football again. Pepper spoke on the tough journey which saw his mental resolve tested and deal with the real possibility of having his career cut shirt at 22.
