Coming from the great state of Michigan there are so many great teams to talk about. We are Those Detroit Guys and we plan to give you our thoughts (just our thoughts) on Michigan sports. While the majority of our podcast will focus on the Detroit Lions, we also plan to cover the Tigers, Pistons, Spartans, and Wolverines as well as any hot national sport topics.

Next we discuss what's next for the Oklahoma City Thunder since they fired Scott Brooks... Will Kevin Durant stay? Lastly we discuss some situations with the Lions and how their schedule is for the beginning and the end of the season. After that segment we have Martin Weiss on the podcast. Next we move to some Tigers talk with the hot streak that J.D. Martinez has already gotten in Spring Training. The last topic we transition to March Madness and if the Kentucky Wildcats can actually take the field. After the Over/Under segment we talk about the NCAA Tournament. We mention who we have in our final four and who we think some cinderallas/sleepers. Next we have a Roundtable discussion and we talk about some of the hottest players in the NBA and who we would want to have to start an NBA Franchise. LeBron James? Stephen Curry? Anthony Davis? We just go back and forth on that topic as well as who is favorite to win the NCAA tourney. We end the roundtable discussion about what the Detroit Lions still need to address? With Ngata we know we still have to address the DT position, but we get it going during the roundtable discussion on other positions.

So Ndamukong Suh wanted $uh money... Ngata problem because the Detroit Lions went and got Haloti Ngata from the Baltimore Ravens. Before we get into that subject we first go into our Over/Under segment where we talk about the Michigan teams (being the Wolverines and Spartans) and how they will fair in the Big Ten Tournament. When then talk about how the NFL is investigating teams breaking the rules for having contracts confirmed before free agency even starts. We end that segment with the struggling Detroit Pistons and see if they can get it back together with a game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Now we get into the recent news of Suh and Ngata. Does this mean we are going to a 3-4 defense? Will we still be a top defense now? Is DL still a need or do we need to staff more LB? We also talk with Matt Dery of 105.1 to talk about his perspective on how management has handled this situation, FA as a whole, and their draft history past. He last talks about the Pistons and what should happen next with their team looking forward.

We take a look at a preview of the Michigan State Vs. University of Michigan basketball game and the direction each program looks to be heading to close out the season. Sticking with basketball we transition from the NCAA to the NBA and discuss the All-Star break. Is Russell Westbrook really that good? Is Zach Levine the best dunker in the NBA or could LeBron James take that title? Even though there wasn't a Piston to make the All-Star roster this year, there have recently been trade rumors that Brandon Jennings could be traded to the Brooklyn Nets for Joe Johnson. Good move or is it a Joe D type of move. We will see if Stan Van Gundy can make the right decisions.

We interview former U of M football player Antonio Bass who played under Lloyd Carr and Rich Rodriguez and get his thoughts on the Harbaugh hiring. After the interview we talk Lions and how the defense fell apart. We switch gears to focus on what we need to do in the playoffs to beat a hot Dallas Cowboys team led by MVP candidates Tony Romo and Demarcus Murray.

Our last topic dives into who will last longer in the NFL, Robert Griffin III or Johnny Manziel. Our first guest for today's episode is Adam Harris and we get to talk a little bit of Chicago Bears. After the interview we talk more in detail about the Lions and our thoughts on if Ndamukong Suh will resign with the Lions after this season. After a satisfying Thanksgiving, Those Detroit Guys start the show with Word Play on some of the major topics around in sports including the recent firing of Bo Pelini and Brady Hoke. We then focus on The Detroit Lions and how it looks like they are back on track with their offense and defense. We conclude the show talking college basketball as their season starts to ramp up during the B1G ACC Challenge.
Those Detroit Guys take a few Over/Under questions from listeners. They have special guest comedian CP from the YouTube videos "What Detroit People Say". He will also be in the upcoming FOX drama Empire. Hailing from Detroit he gives insight on many of the Michigan sports. After the interview, Those Detroit Guys talk Detroit Lions and the blowout game against New England Patriots. We then move on to talk a little Michigan/Michigan State basketball and which program will be on top this year. We end the show on some of the upcoming rivalry week college football games.
After explaining some eventful car incidents that happened over the weekend, Those Detroit Guys do another trivia segment where Gandy tries to stump Erv. Next they discuss the dreadful Detroit Lions game against the Arizona Cardinals. Both give their opinion on what drastic changes need to happen, although Gandy gets on his soapbox for a while on the Offensive line. Each gives their ideas on what needs to happen to be successful on their upcoming game against the New England Patriots. Those Guys then shift their focus on the recent Michigan State basketball team and give their outlook on the season after the loss to Duke. We close the show on how we need to get the Pistons going and which players need to step up.

Jerrell also gives his opinion on who should make the pro bowl. Lastly we discuss the disappointing loss from Michigan State against Ohio State.
During the Detroit Lions Bye week, Those Detroit Guys reflected on the state of Michigan professional and collegiate sports. We brought back Jerry Mallory to give us his grade for the first half of the season. We brought back the #OverUnder game and discussed the upcoming game for Michigan State against Ohio State.
