“Cartucho” or “Calle del Cartucho¨ used to be the name of a street in the old part of Barrio Santa Inés in Bogota, Colombia. The name makes reference to a flower that was very common in that area. In fact, there were so many of them, that the whole neighborhood was referred as “los Cartuchos”.
In the 80’s, this neighborhood encountered increasing violence & criminality throughout. A couple of years before the turn of the 20th Century, the government intervened. Memories of these events are remembered in different urban songs, stories and anecdotes.
Today, B-Liv, one of the most important DJ and house producers in Mexico, who has placed more that 13 original tracks in different important charts this year, shares his new track “El Cartucho”. “El Cartucho” is a Tech House journey, full of chaos and remembrance, with a strong and steady groove and raw atmospheres.

On 22th June, the new single B-Liv will be launched. It is "Minock" a deep song with many elements of Techno This single will be released as part of the Ibiza 2015 compilation, published by the prestigious label -Kinetika Records- a Brooklyn/NYC based label which specializes in techno and house underground where artists like Joeski, Honey Dijon, Matt Sassari or Gaga have published part of his work.. Minock, in the words of B-Liv, "is a journey full of organic moments and introspective built on a minimal basis with many nuances, and was inspired by "Mynocks", by a dream I had, where I ask, what would it be the music of this alien race?"
