Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. Homelessness is a massive problem in America. What ‘s the solution? The first step is to get government out of the way. Government has been throwing billions at the problem and things are no better. The problem should be handed over to faith-based non-profits supported not by tax dollars but by the generosity of kingdom minded people, as the Good Samaritan helped the victim he found with money from his own pocket. Such organizations will provide shelter but most importantly help people get right with God and accept responsibility for their own lives. Then we must again allow people with chronic mental illnesses to be placed in faith-based facilities designed for the purpose, even against their will if necessary. It won’t be easy but bringing Christ into the mix will be far better than anything we are doing now.
