Monog Records
Monog Records is a music label based in Berlin, which aims to create a unique connection with it’s artists and their music. Each relationship we have with our artists is treasured as much as the last. We want to be there for all occasions by connecting promising and established artists, building the ground, supporting each other and sharing our love as a family alike.
Our name comes from the word "Monogamy", the state of having only one partner at any one time. In many cases, this word is used to refer specifically to marital monogamy and this is what we are about. We define Monogamy not as a death sentence but as an idea of sharing the same path together. Monog Records seeks to refine the concept and turn it into a “Musical Monogamy”: two individuals/parties with one shared music soul.
The owl is our mascot, our guide, and our loyal friend. This monogamous night hunter is a symbol of wisdom and mystic force. We believe that features of the owl lie closely with the values of Monog, and as such, it has become the symbol of our label.
Monog Records was created in 2010 by Joal and re-launched in 2018 by Bruno Otranto.
Monog do not follow any specific Electronic music trend. What matters to us is being able to support you by accepting who you are, the seeds you have sown in the past to get you where you are and with that you will continue to have the opportunity to freely express yourself through your music.

We welcome Jelly For The Babies and Buba to Monog Records with the superb debut Emocija EP. Both these guys have amassed extensive back catalogues over the years, garnering much respect from their peers. From a young age, JFTB was into electronic music and, since 2007, he has been honing his studio skills in the production of various genres of music. He manages three labels and boasts worldwide support. Buba is considered one of the most promising producers to come out of Montenegro. Currently he is enjoying the release of his studio album – Dreamlands, and we’ve no doubt his creativity will grab a lot of attention. We’re delighted to have both on board.

Here, Christopher delivers a beautifully composed and enchanting cut with a distinct Balearic vibe that makes you long for a trip to the White Isle. DOMA aka Elvis Albarello and Pablo Cetrini. debut on Monog with the fantastic About Last Night EP. This Argentine DJ, producer duo have been working together since 2015. Being connected with music since they were young, they are able to create an interesting sound based on the mixture of House and Techno, resulting in a unique style. Their music has had the support of Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Guy Mantzur, Nick Muir and Dave Seaman, who played DOMA tracks in their Podcasts and events such as Burning Man, Moonpark and other international clubs. They’ve had releases on several labels including Bullfinch Records, Rule Music, Tenampa Recordings, and What Happens.

We have seen him before on Monog, he delivered a solid remix under his Kymatik guise on dreamAwaken’s Folksaga EP back in the Summer of 2019. A world-renowned figure in electronic music he has remixed a host of top names and appeared on some of the biggest labels on the planet. It was the Techno sound of Belgium that really got his attention and in 1994 he started to release his own music. In 2000 he created the project, Wellenrausch which went on to deliver some of the best progressive trance form that era. In 2019 he got signed with the famous Platipus where he is once again showing the world his raw talent in the form of beautifully crafted, hybrid sounds. Here, Torsten opts to deliver us firmly into the lower echelons of tech, with a deep, murky construction with glitchy sounds and eerie harmonies. A powerful bass drone shores up the low end as those haunting sounds and FX create a tense atmosphere. On the main break, subtle melodies emerge as note changes on the bassline give it an emotive presence. Beautifully crafted, a must have.

The groove takes carries a distinctly progressive vibe with tech influences which makes for an intense journey. Samu returns Monog with the fantastic Like That EP. This one follows his debut, Doop Ba EP, from back in 2018 and we’re delighted to see him back once again. Influenced by his father and late uncle, who worked together in the 80's and 90's during the epic cultural era in Valencia. They co-managed a record label and hosted performances and acts in one of the largest clubs in the world. This behind-the-scene experience taught Samu much about the work and life of a deejay. Passionate about music since a child, the influences of funk, metal, hip-hop, jazz and breaks are present in his productions. But it's techno that constitutes a fundamental piece of his initial works. In 2008 he realized one of his dreams, teaming up as a producer and head of management for the label Novo Music together with his friend Leix. The quality productions and the great feedback from several DJ’s and artists soon boosted the business, with a need to expand over frontiers.

He moved to Mexico City and then to Montreal, where he meets Guillaume Coutu Dumont, with whom he records and performs live under the Chic Miniature moniker. On the remix here, Ernesto gets us right into the groove from the off, thanks to a pumping kick drum and well-crafted percussion patterns. A powerful bassline resides on the low-end, propping up the groove effortlessly while bright, plink, plonk notes cut through. Cool, funky keys add that party vibe alongside distant crowd vocals that add to the atmosphere. A real nice groover for the floors.

Christopher Ivor debuts on Monog Records with the superb From The Dreamscape EP. Music is something Christopher has grown up with, as a toddler he was already making his own radio mixtapes but quickly discovered his father's record collection. He was instantly hooked and soon started spending his precious pocket money on vinyl. This led him naturally to getting his first turntables. Although enjoying spinning other people’s music Christopher soon found out that he was more interested in making his own tracks. Eventually he set up an underground studio together with his brother and a friend. It was there where he found out his natural ability to write music and play live with his hardware and started performing on stage. Since then he has always continued composing, remixing and performing. His style has become very broad and eclectic. This has evolved today into a deep progressive techno sound with a lot of percussion, melody and core elements of House music. Great to have him here.

Our Portuguese friend Joal is up on remix duties and once again he shows us his deft skills in the studio with a superb interpretation of The Tale Of Tones. Known for his diverse style, Joal has a long dedication to production which has propelled him to international acclaim. This boom of musicality led to a steady stream of gigs where his performances are not just DJ Sets, but fusions between DJing and live act, where creativity is his brand image. An extensive back catalogue and a solid fan base are testament to the talent from this guy and we’re delighted to see him back at Monog. On the remix here, Joal delivers a much deeper interpretation with a tight, tough-edged beat at the core. Keeping the groove in the lower echelons, we also have a superb, probing bassline that mesmerizes alongside eerie FX sequences. Alléz Alléz is an inspiring track filled with rich melodies, tribal elements and a sprinkling of Ethnic flavour. Tight beats lead the way as a warm, deep and exotic bassline sets the tone of the groove nicely. Atelier Francesco debuts on Monog Records with a remix of Dusterr’s The Baptism which is the second cut from this stellar EP. Atelier has longed to grace the grounds of a planetary place - somewhere oxygenated, somewhere gravitationally unchallenged, somewhere with dancefloors he could invade. He began in the depths of darkness to emulate and to craft the vibrations and sounds of our planet before he decided to master dark and moody grooves, creating his own unique live act. His deep house and tech house grooves have featured on several labels including Cocoon Recordings, Cityfox and Get Physical among others where he has already carved out a solid reputation. Great to have him on board. Here, Atelier lets us into his world, allowing us access to the solid gritty sounds which take us on a surreal journey. A steady flowing rhythm is formed with a tight drum arrangement which is laced with a myriad of cool FX and single shot percussions. We welcome Stefan Braatz to the Monog stable on remix duties for Sin. He gives us the fantastic Diva Mix which is a fired up and energetic rendition in contrast to the original. Stefan became interested in electronic music around 1994 after listening to radio shows and attending legendary clubs in Berlin. Toying with different genres he put on parties with friends. Discovering Acid House was what really captivated him, steering him towards production which led to a plethora of releases on several labels. A much-respected artist on the scene, it’s great to have him here at Monog. On the remix here, we intro with punchy kick drums and bright, crispy hi hats which join up to deliver a solid, rhythmic flow. A plucky bassline rolls in alongside hypnotic piano notes that accent beautifully against the darker tones in the track. Lorenzo Zoeter collaborates on Nothing To Hide and this Amsterdam native brings a wealth of experience to the table. He started his career after meeting up with Patrice in 1993. Their first release was as Syrinx on the famous Dutch label Conamus. He then started his solo-project called Sibilant which was very successful also. Moritz Mauritz joins Patrice on Be Free. Residing in Berlin, Dutch DJ and producer Moritz has been producing electronic music since 2007. He has worked with Patrice also in the past and together they have notched up some very impressive work indeed. Juliane got into music through attending a DJ workshop at Club Kasablanca and it was here that she caught the vinyl bug. She explored the club scene in the following years and found herself playing at top venues before she entered into the world of music production. Her first cuts were a remix for Robert Babicz on his label Babiczstyle and original releases on Shaker Plates and Norobot Music. After spending time in Kiel and Cologne Juliane arrived in Berlin where she works on new releases as well as a live set where she combines analogue and digital elements. Samu returns to Monog with his Afrika Feeling Remix of Sound Chaser. This follows his recent debut for us back in May 2018 with Doop Ba EP and we are delighted to see him back once again. Passionate about music since a child, the influences of funk, metal, hip-hop, jazz and breaks are present in his productions. But it's techno that constitutes a fundamental piece of his initial works. In 2008 he realized one of his dreams, teaming up as a producer and head of management for the label Novo Music together with his friend Leix. The quality productions and the great feedback from several DJ’s and artists soon boosted the business, with a need to expand over frontiers. His productions have been supported by many, including Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier, Marco Carola, Josh Wink, Dubfire, Kerri Chandler and Maceo Plex to just to name a few. Here the remix intros with a very cool sequence which delivers a deep groove thanks to dark probing basses and cool muted synths. Unsound intros with a very nice, well rounded kick drum that lulls us onto the floor. A simple vocal shot adds intrigue as filtered chords begin to rise. Shuffling hi hats get the rhythm flowing as the vocal gets a cool echo effect. A seemingly nondescript bassline lurks on the low end, enough to feel a presence while allowing the higher frequencies to dominate. Dennis Allen returns to Monog with a superb remix of Jun which follows his debut – Tree Of Self EP, from early Spring 2018. DJ and producer Dennis grew up listening mostly to Hip Hop through the nineties. By the year 2000 he started to produce, learning instruments and finding his niche within the scene. He soon swayed towards electronic dance music where he discovered an urge to DJ and found himself playing top clubs in his home town. He still doesn't know where this love of music came from, he didn't come from a very musical family and wasn't taught instruments as a child. The remix here sets out with a solid thumping kick drum and sharp hi hat combi. The drum section tightens up with several layers creating a flowing rhythm while various synth sequences come together for a sublime house experience. The bassline is the powerhouse here though, a solid, driving bass delivers a groovy mover that will definitely fill the floors. The original mix of Looking Into sets off with a deep rumbling bass tone alongside bright hi hats. A solid kick drum packs a powerful punch as an electrifying pad fades in. In the distance a 303 bassline grabs our attention as it rises through the layers to become a big focus in the sound, taking full control and driving the crowd into a frenzy. Excellent stuff that will not disappoint.
Darker sets out with a monster kick drum, delivering a serious thump in the process. A soft melodic arpeggio fades in, contrasting beautifully with the tougher kicks. Bright crispy hi hats and shuffling cymbals create a rhythmic flow while raspy FX come through. ID Ensemble marks his Monog debut with a stunning remix on Looking Into. A self-taught musician with unparalleled attention to detail, Filip Kaczmarek believes that every note has a perfect place in musical composition. Filip’s productions used to have a very distinctive percussion sounds - easy to spot, easy to remember. This is where ID Ensemble steps in, it's one of the few projects which Filip runs in parallel, although this one is heavily influenced by the Berlin sound. It was created as an expression of the need to break free from the previous musical badge, he felt a great urge to explore new sounds and constantly develop as an artist. This guy is destined to be noticed and heard by a wide audience, be sure to check his releases and judge for yourself. Here the remix intros with a sharp metallic hat alongside a strange arp and a massive kick. Soft chords fade in as a deep probing bassline rises up from the depths. The chords are beefed up to deliver a solid stab as the bassline evolves becoming a groovy mover. Deep house style pads fill out the background adding smooth textures which are in contrast to the thumpy nature of the main groove. A fantastic effort that will become a firm favourite for many.
Samu debuts on Monog with the fantastic Doop Ba EP which features a stellar remix from the legendary Patrick Zigon. Passionate about music since a child, the influences of funk, metal, hip-hop, jazz and breaks are present in his productions. But it's techno that constitutes a fundamental piece of his initial works. In 2008 he realized one of his dreams, teaming up as a producer and head of management for the label Novo Music together with his friend Leix. The quality productions and the great feedback from several DJ’s and artists soon boosted the business, with a need to expand over frontiers. His productions have been supported by many, including Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier, Marco Carola, Josh Wink, Dubfire, Kerri Chandler and Maceo Plex to just to name a few.
Doop Ba is a sassy, funky, groovy infectious slice that will definitely force some moves out on the floors. The track is layered with a cacophony of quirky sounds over a solid breaks drum arrangement and punchy bassline which is the driving force of the dynamic groove. Huge chord stabs, jazzy vocals and keys all make for a unique sound that will definitely grab a lot of attention.

Luis Bravo returns to Monog with the superb Espiral EP which features an excellent collaboration with Jose Vizcaino and a top notch remix from Pysh. It's been a while since Luis' last outing here, it was back in 2016 when he delivered his Bubbles EP which was very well received indeed. Since then he has continued to impress with his unique brand of quality music on various labels. Luis is joined by San Francisco based producer Jose Vizcaino on Comfort Zone where he brings his special brand of deep tech to the release. A well established artist, Jose boasts an impressive back catalogue spanning several years on top labels, a pleasure to have him at Monog. Pysh also joins us as a debutant delivering a solid remix on Comfort Zone. Pysh is a unique artist with a passion for music. After many years as an artist he has appeared on a raft of labels and continues to develop his sound. Thanks to his understanding of sounds he can move between genres with quality always at the forefront. A formidable trio of artists on this one and together they've created a solid dancefloor sound.
Espiral intros with a surreal musical sequence made up of dark pads and strange, noisy FX. A punchy kick drum bursts through and is joined by a deep bubbling bassline which transforms effortlessly into a crunchy 303 style sound. Slicing hi hats cut through the dominating lower frequencies add movement and rhythm to the track. Cool synth plucks mesmerize as those dark pads return, taking us on a trippy escapade. A top notch cut for the late night sessions that is not to be missed.
On remix duties for Cutter Choice we have German DJing and studio partners Beddermann & Dahlmann marking their Monog debut with a fine slice of house music for our listening pleasure. These guys have been blazing a trail since joining forces in 2007. They've played at almost all the top clubs in Berlin as well as many other cities in their home country and beyond and they are always well worth keeping an eye and an ear on. The remix here is beautifully crafted with their DJ skills in mind. We're treated to a full on, energetic, dancefloor friendly cut that oozes sexy grooves and tight rhythmic beats. Clubby vocals dominate while an infectious piano hook grabs you by the hips forcing you to move. There is no doubt that this one will definitely feature in many sets with its DJ friendly workout.
Berlin based DJ and producer Julian Rosh delivers a superb debut here at Monog Records with his Second Hand EP which is backed up with another original and a top notch remix. Julian is a sound engineer who is involved in different projects and has several releases on diverse international labels. Owner of 2RB Records, his sound can’t be labelled as he delves into almost all things electronic. He drives his performances into a trip to the past with an experimental and futuristic approach. Nice to have him on board at Monog.
Second Hand opens with a mesmerizing arpeggio which is followed by a nice punchy kick drum and crispy hi hat combi. We get drawn into the surreal atmosphere as the melancholic arps weave their sequence alongside a plucky bassline that dabbles with a slight acid touch. The melody is enhanced with the introduction of brighter synths which makes this one stand out. A wonderfully hypnotic slice that will not disappoint.
The Original Mix of Cutter Choice intros with a nice chunky kick drum and alternating synths playing out a dancey vibe. Warm chord stabs come through as the percussions line up to deliver a nice rhythmic flow. Portuguese producer Ricardo Cardoso aka Ritz debuts on Monog Records with the beautifully crafted Don't You EP which features a super remix from Kobana. Ricardo has been making waves for a few years now and has seen releases on several labels. He's fresh off the back of a banging release over at our good friends' Piston Recordings label and, no doubt we'll be seeing a lot more from him in the future.
Don't You intros with a rich, vibrant kaleidoscope of sounds backed up with erratic percussions and probing bass note. Solid kicks and tight rhythmic percussion pattern soon drop and we're led into a fantastic groovy tech workout. Floating pads remain a constant as harsher bass tones lay out the groove alongside intricate synth patterns. The break reveals a much deeper bass that stays the course making this a truly dynamic slice that you will not want to miss.
The original version of Lilt sets out with a deep and mysterious vibe made up of soft gated pads and a probing deep bass. Cool shuffling hi hats slice through the low end frequencies with ease before a nice and chunky kick drum comes through to take control. Classic style synth stabs grab your attention work beautifully with the tech inspired groove. High strings and wonderfully crafted synth sequences make for a dynamic sound that will most definitely be a welcome addition in any late night groovy set.
We welcome Kobana to Monog Records with this fantastic remix of Lilt. Zielona Gora, Poland based Kobana is well known for his signature synth lines and percussions. He's been a prominent figure in the world of progressive and deep house for quite a while now and his works can be found on a plethora of top quality labels. His sound quickly engages the listener thanks to his attention to harmony and it is this quality that will ensure his tracks continue to enjoy great support throughout the world. Here on the remix Kobana dishes out a beautiful harmonious tech flavoured groove filled with smooth melodies and a wonderfully crafted bassline. Punchy kick drums lead the way as shuffling percussions bring the rhythm to life. Mesmerizing pads fill the background while brighter, sharper synths provide the melodies. The track is dominated by that punchy, raw bassline that moves effortlessly creating a deep, hypnotic space. Superb stuff that will not disappoint.
HedUbble also gives us the beautiful Brainstorm on this EP. Filled with sublime melancholic sounds set against a solid drum section, this one takes us on a mystical journey deep into tech house and beyond. Surreal pianos lead the way, mesmerizing the senses as playful FX cascade up and down. The break throws up a subtle melodic interlude to break the deeper vibe, but only for a short time as we head straight back down the rabbit hole for the duration. A definite contender for those late night sessions no doubt.

The Original Mix of Dreams is a sublime journey between deep house grooves and techy elements. The track is driven by a beautifully rich atmospheric tone thanks to dreamy background pads and subtle arpeggiated notes. The drums deliver a nice tech house flavour while the smooth bassline resides in the deeper house department. But, it's all about the vibe here and this one will most definitely work wonders on the floors, a must have.
Gale Talk aka Hector Bermejo debuts on Monog with his classy remix of Dreams. With a passion for the exotic sounds he began making his first musical productions at the age of sixteen, these productions were hip hop, house, and techno, among others. His musical influences range from San Diego ́s Soul Music to the bizarre sounds of Warp label. Hector has taken his love for all kind of styles to develop a very personal musical concept. In his role as producer he has worked for labels like Blackplace, Esperanza Records, Ipologica, Phase Insane, or Pong Music. He also works on a project called Ausdrücke with his friend and collaborator Galman. As a DJ he has played in many venues across the globe from Israel to Uruguay, always leaving a pleasant memory among clubbers. We're very happy to have him at Monog and hopefully we will see more soon. On the remix we find ourselves completely hooked into a wonderfully crafted hybrid sound filled with all kinds of contrasting elements. The intro boasts a Latin inspired percussion arrangement accompanied by bright crispy hi hats, sharp claps and punchy kicks, enough to get a dancey rhythm moving. Cool chord stabs fade in as a dreamy atmosphere rises in the background. The stabs become the main focus as the groove intensifies thanks to that punchy bassline. A series of intertwining arpeggios create a stunning melodic sequence that captivates the mind. A seriously superb slice that will be a welcome addition in any peak time set.
Nyvs is back at Monog with another tasty treat in the form of the delicious The Beautiful Way To Adenadurna. We last had the pleasure of hosting his works back in March 2016 with his A To The Alpha EP and prior to this he had the honour of being Monog's 50th release alongside Sugark with their Arco-Iris EP in 2015. Nyvs started listening to various forms of music, from hip hop to punk and rock to electronic, but it was electronic music that caught his ear and he grew into this sound more and more. Now, totally hooked, he has been twiddling the knobs for over 10 years, happily surrounded by his music gear and losing himself in a world of endless possibilities. Here the track sets out with a nicely tweaked kick drum and sharp hi hat combi finished off with scattered percussions that give the rhythm a dynamic feel. In the background we find sweet melodic pads and keys that stand out beautifully against the deeper elements. The main lead is strong with striking chords and keys drawing a lot of attention. A solid slice that will not disappoint.
Edgex is the solo project of Portuguese, Berlin based DJ, performer and producer Uriel Gil. Electronic music can take us to unexpected territories, playing music to a crowd within a constant interaction in a particular time and space is something really special. His curiosity and desire to expand to other kinds of electronic generated music eventually took him to Dub, Techno, Deep, House and experimental sounds. After several years of experimentation, he released the first 2 EPs under the name Horizontal and Multivercity both on Matilda Records, Spain. Spiralis sets out with a smooth and rhythmic arrangement made up of shuffling hats and a punchy kick drum. Deep layered basses keep the low end groove flowing as a hypnotic riff runs through. Warmer chords show up providing cool contrasts in the sound. The break takes us deeper as swirling pads linger before we head straight back into full on mode for the duration. Top notch stuff.
Alexander Koning debuts on Monog with the sublime The Triple Flusher. Koning caught the electronic music bug after spending his youth attending underground illegal raves at abandoned warehouses and various locations across his home turf of Holland. This soon led to a desire for him to host his own events, teaming up with friend Michel Becks for a string of small parties in their hometown under the name Eye On The Future, after great success things blossomed and soon saw a venue change to accommodate its following and the welcoming of internationally renowned artists headlining the events. His newest concept [Percep-tion] hosts label showcases at one of Berlin's leading club spaces Katerholzig and at Amsterdam's Doka, Toren and Stalker. The Triple Flusher intros with a teasing gated synth which ebbs and flows before a phat stuttering bassline takes control alongside a tight drum arrangement. A simple melodic riff bores out of the analogue mire adding cool texture to the tech house groove. A relentless and mesmeric slice that will definitely keep the floors happy, not to be missed.
Retro Spectrum duo debuts on Monog with the sublime From Inconstant To Nothing. Not much is known about these artists, what we do know is the level of creativity shown is a force to be reckoned with. From Inconstant To Nothing intros with a deep rooted kick drum which is soon joined by a sharp slicing hi9 hat and some groovy organ chords. Shuffling percussions ease in adding a cool rhythm which will definitely get feet to the floors. An eerie vibe washes over the track thanks to surreal melodic patterns and stabbing synth hits. Definitely a track for the night parties.
Joal showcases his talents for live performance with his Live Cosmic Mix of So Much. As we've seen in the past (check out his live videos, superb stuff indeed) Joal loves to get into hardware situations where he can tweak his creations into unique moments that capture the essence of his sound. Here he performs the remix to absolute perfection. A more club infused groove is evident thanks to a solid drum arrangement that carries the live element throughout. A deep throbbing bassline runs through the low end while hypnotic chord stabs keep the groove locked on. Subtle melodies play out amongst the lead synths while the vocal adds an air of mystery. An excellent take on the original that will not disappoint.
The Original Mix of So Much sets off with a deep and moody groove filled with dubby beats and shuffling rhythmic hi hats against the backdrop of smouldering pads and subtle bass tones. The pads go through several changing effects as the filters and the gates open up to dish out some very nice combinations. Utopian dishes out a solid groove right from the off as warm kick drums and soft hats generate a smooth rhythmic flow. Virtual Umbra sets out with a deep seated tech groove right from the off thanks to punchy kicks, subtle hi hats and a hypnotic synth bass line. The groove intensifies as various sounds combine creating a rich and colourful texture. A sharp acid synth runs through the track effortlessly as we get a French Kiss kind of vibe off the main riff which gives this one a classic feel. Superb stuff that will definitely get the floors moving.
Next up we have the vibrant Dub Rework of Virtual Umbra which intros with a solid kick drum and a mixture of rhythmic percussions. This combination locks you in as subtle synth chord stabs fade in, giving us a taste of things to come. A hypnotic pad floats in the background as the chords ebb and flow, luring us into the depths of tech. A definite must have for sure.
Monog's next release features label bosses Joal and Bruno Otranto alongside the talented Piermaria Chapus and their sublime The Landscape Is Fading EP. DJ and producer Bruno Otranto joined Monog as Joal's partner in crime at the start of 2017, he brings a wealth of knowledge to the table with that same commitment and penchant for quality. Berlin based musician, composer, songwriter and producer Piermaria Chapus provides the vocals on this release, with great effect. A hugely talented artist in his trade he has worked alongside Joal in the past for material on Selador and no doubt we're in for a real treat with this one.
Finally we have the title track, The Landscape is Fading which intros with a real nice, rich, well rounded kick drum alongside stuttering hi hats and layering percussions. Dark pads fade in as subtle melodies begin to appear. Distant vocals create a wonderful hair raising moment that blends effortlessly into the groove and providing a melancholic edge to the sound. A solid, deep rooted track that will not disappoint.
Just Her is a very much in-demand DJ, producer and musician, her stellar songwriting and engineering work with Him_Self_Her has propelled her into the upper reaches of the underground music scene. She has seen releases with world class labels such as Toolroom, Crosstown Rebels and Suara and gained a wealth of Beatport chart positions, an Essential New tune on Radio 1 and gigs all over the world. Here she delivers yet another deep and melodic slice house music utilising that soft, raw vocal from Piermaria. Tender beats lead the way driving a tight drum section that generates a steady rhythm. Deep droning basses dominate the sound while melancholic pads and brighter melodies sweep by. A truly hypnotic piece that will be perfect for those late night sessions.
Polygon is up next and this one is a stomper filled with beautiful tech house vibes and wonderful synths. Punchy beats set us on our way with a smooth rhythmic percussion section in tow. A deep yet subtle bass lies on the low end as scathing synths fade in with a chaotic arpeggio fashion. Those synths will dig deep into your brain and force you to move with little respite. His late teenage years would become the moment he realised this passion was so strong and he started to produce his own music. He has released a plethora of top notch cuts across various labels in the last several years and shows no signs of letting up, definitely an artist to keep tabs on. As you'd expect from the remix title we're treated to a healthy dose of vintage 303 acid. A chunky kick drum leads the way as a meandering acid line coasts in the background over a superb thick bass. Cool FX, gated synths and swirling pads add colourful textures but it's the acid that gets under your skin giving this track a unique flavour. Top notch stuff you do not want to miss.

After spending time in Kiel and Cologne Juliane arrived in Berlin where she works on new releases as well as a live set where she combines analogue and digital elements.
