Elizabeth Kriesten is an expert in misinformation and extremism, and how they relate to people’s discomfort with the more than 30 vaccines, including those for Covid-19. After more than 20 years of studying pseudoscience, She helps people who are influenced by misinformation to understand how they are being psychologically coerced and manipulated, without dismissing their beliefs. She also works with anyone who wants to be able to talk to friends and family members about vaccines and other controversial topics without arguing.
In her role at DropLabs, Ange has led the brand to serve as a nexus for some of the most important conversations in technology: accessibility, individuality, justice. She has instituted partnerships with several voter equity campaigns, spearheaded programs to promote rising Black designers, dancers, filmmakers and activists. As a woman of color, Ange is passionate about diversity in fashion and technology, mission-forward brands and building authentic platforms that redress barriers for equity-seeking groups.
True to her name, Brooklyn-native, Karisma Jay is an honors graduate of LaGuardia High School (Dance) and New York University’s Gallatin School (Performing Arts and Pre-Medicine).
She is a City College Mathematics Education Master’s certificate Student. Teaching dance since the tender age of 11, she has honed her skills of working with children and adults to develop the confidence and charisma of even the shyest, youngest and/or oldest of students. Dr. Kimya Nuru Dennis is an activist, sociologist and criminologist, educator, trainer, evaluator, and founder and owner of 365 Diversity. 365 Diversity provides results-based services for K-12 schools and colleges-universities, medical-health professionals, businesses, and organizations. Specializations include identities and experiences such as race and ethnicity, gender, mental health, disability, sexual identity and sexuality. 365 Diversity focuses on informal social controls and preventive measures conducive to reducing reliance on police departments and emergency medical-health services.
Dimitri Vorontzov is a New York City-based narratologist (scholar of storytelling), with the main focus on stories for film and TV. A classically trained composer, conductor and pianist, Dimitri Vorontzov also works with select postgraduate-level music students, teaching musical composition, orchestration, advanced music theory, and jazz.
Dr. Sana Shaikh is an expert in organizational theory and behavior. Monty Ghosh is an Internist, Addiction Specialist, and Researcher who works in both Calgary and Edmonton Alberta. He works with multiple community based not for profit organizations to provide support for marginalized populations including The Alex and The Calgary Drop-In Centre. He also helps foster and create unique programs to support those living with substance use, experiencing homelessness, and with other vulnerabilities.
He is an assistant clinical and professor at both The University of Alberta and the University of Calgary, and is heavily involved with provincial policy building in Alberta, as well as with research and is the recipient or co-recipient of grants from Alberta Innovates, Alberta Health, and the Canadian Institute of Health Research. He is currently a graduate student at the Harvard School of Public Health.
Dr. Aaron Weiner, PhD, ABPP is a board-certified Psychologist and addiction specialist, and speaks nationally on the topics of addiction, behavioral health, and the impact of drug policy on public health. His perspective is informed by years of experience growing and directing addiction service lines for hospitals and healthcare systems, the current state of medical and psychological research, and his own observations in private practice. He is a strong advocate for evidence-based care in treating chemical dependency and behavioral addictions, as well as a proponent of integrating behavioral health services into medical settings. Experienced managing teams of 30+ other students, Georgia’s organized conferences for hundreds of attendees (BOLD Conference & Young Women’s Conference), created organic marketing campaigns to generate thousands of clicks, written dozens of blog pieces across all platforms, pitched on national television, and secured $100k+ in equity-free funding for her projects. Georgia’s work focuses on the intersection between social impact and technology. Georgia is a passionate mental health advocate.
Terri Pantuso, PhD, is an Instructional Assistant Professor of English and Coordinator of Freshman Composition at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. Dr. Pantuso has nearly 30 years of teaching experience in both secondary and post-secondary schools and has worked with pre-service and veteran teachers in numerous districts throughout Texas and Illinois. Her research interests include maternal studies, critical gender and race interstices in literature and language, and equitable open pedagogy. Dr. Pantuso is mother to three adult daughters and is a first-generation high school graduate.
Matilda Leduc-Grimaldi, PhD is an international art curator and occasionally a guest lecturer in US universities, with an MA from Paris I-Sorbonne, an MBA from Hult International Business School, and an Italian PhD. She specialized in late 19th- early 20th century art and history. She’s the co-editor of the book “Finding Livingstone”.
Dr. Robert Alexander is the CEO and Co-Founder of AuraLab, a company that helps individuals thrive through transformational breathing technology. The Breathscape app supports deep meditative states by turning breath into music in real-time. Before launching AuraLab, he worked as a NASA fellow at Goddard Space Flight Center, a Chief Innovation Officer at the University of Michigan and lectured on Sound Design and Psychology at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University School of Design. A passionate climate change advocate, Gianna Stanley is a professional chef, food photographer, and educator. Before becoming a chef, Gianna graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor’s degree in business administration and statistics. She then spent about four years working as a data analyst for a marketing consulting firm before she started to feel burnt out and unexcited about her career. Her love of cooking and feeding people led her to apply and attend the Institute of Culinary Education, where she graduated with honors. Gianna proceeded to land an externship at the renowned Blue Hill in NYC, where she learned about sustainable, ethical food sourcing first hand as a line cook. After her time at Blue Hill, Gianna became a full time private chef cooking healthy, sustainable meals for families in New York City. When Covid hit, she took her knowledge and love of sustainability online in her blog SustainablyGia.com. In addition to her private chef work, she now works with sustainable food brands as a photographer and recipe developer, and helps her clients (virtually) lower their carbon footprint by making simple changes to their diets and cooking habits.

Medical Herstory envisions a world where every woman has bodily autonomy and equal access to sexual and reproductive healthcare – free of sexism, shame or stigma. Through her online publication, workshops, and diverse events, Tori empowers young women to advocate for themselves within healthcare; she normalises conversations about sexual health; and she works towards transforming gender norms. She is a 23-year old outspoken sexual health advocate who oversees a team of 40 volunteers across 5 countries and 12 universities. Tori completed her BA in Gender Studies at McGill University and holds an MPhil in Health, Medicine, and Society from the University of Cambridge. Her projects and speeches have reached over 1,000
people and been featured by CBC, the Cambridge Hub, Dragonroot Media, Quebec AM, and the McGill Tribune. Tori has been recognized by the University of Cambridge’s Vice Chancellor’s Social Impact Award and McGill University’s Scarlet Key award for her enduring women’s health advocacy.
