Curious about how therapy can truly change your life?
In this episode, we explore the world of therapy with Dr. Alexandra Guhde, a psychologist with nearly two decades of experience. Dr. Alex’s approach, rooted in contemporary Jungian psychology, views the lifelong search for wholeness as both an essential art and a key to living a fulfilling life.
In our conversation, Dr. Alex reveals the limitations of therapy as a purely scientific practice and the essential, often overlooked, artistic elements that make therapy truly transformative. We discuss why therapy can be terrifying, what really happens in a first session, and why the facts, while important, don’t always matter as much as you might think. Learn how therapy can move beyond just managing symptoms to help you achieve deeper self-awareness and meaningful personal growth.
Whether you're curious about starting therapy or looking to deepen your understanding of the therapeutic process, this episode offers valuable insights and practical advice from an expert deeply committed to the art and science of therapy.

It's probably a few years overdue if I'm honest. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE what I do. I love getting to know people, helping them get out of pain, help them to understand their body and movement mechanics. Educate them on what they can do to feel better and get the most from themself.
I love it.
But I'm also ready to move on.
There's a feeling deep inside of me that feels restless. That needs more. To help you and so many more on a larger scale.
And the question on everyone's lips? What are you going to do?
And my honest answer is I don't know.
Yes, there are things in the pipeline that I will do. See if they light me up. But to tell you that I'm leaving my business, my clients, and my 17 years' worth of education and experience for some other plan, some other job or career.... well, it's not true. I don't really have a plan other than try stuff.
Try all the things that scare me. Light me up. That piques my curiosity.
Try it all, then decide.
So I guess that's my plan.
It's scary as hell.
I hope you can come along for the ride!
I'd love to hear from you!

Energy healing is a holistic approach to health and wellness that aims to balance and restore the flow of energy within the body. It is based on the idea that physical, mental, and emotional well-being are interconnected and influenced by the flow of energy within the body.
Energy healing techniques can include practices like Reiki, Acupuncture, Acupressure, Qigong, and others. These techniques are believed to help stimulate the body's natural healing processes by balancing and restoring the flow of energy.
People may consider energy healing to be "woo woo" or pseudoscientific because it is not widely recognized or accepted within the conventional medical community. Additionally, some of the concepts and theories behind energy healing, such as the existence of a universal life force or energy field, can seem mysterious or unproven to some people.
Energy healing also lacks the kind of scientific evidence that is commonly used to support traditional medical treatments, such as controlled clinical trials or peer-reviewed studies. This lack of scientific evidence can lead some people to dismiss energy healing as unscientific or lacking credibility.
However, it's important to note that many alternative or complementary therapies, including energy healing, have been used for thousands of years and have helped many people experience positive health outcomes. Personal experiences and anecdotal evidence can provide valuable information about the potential benefits of these therapies, and more research is needed to fully understand the potential of energy healing and other alternative therapies.
Ultimately, the decision to try energy healing or any other alternative therapy is a personal one, and individuals should carefully consider their own health needs and beliefs before making a decision. It is always best to consult with a qualified healthcare provider before trying any new therapy or treatment.

Stored emotions can have a significant impact on our actions, interactions, career, and performance. Emotions are closely tied to our thoughts and behaviours, and when emotions are stored, they can affect our outlook and approach to life.
For example, negative emotions such as anger, sadness, or frustration can lead to negative thinking patterns and behaviour, affecting our interactions with others and our ability to perform at work. On the other hand, positive emotions like joy, happiness, and excitement can boost our confidence, creativity, and motivation, leading to better performance in our personal and professional lives.
It is important to manage and process stored emotions to maintain emotional balance and avoid their negative effects on our lives. This can include engaging in self-care practices, talking to a trusted friend or therapist, practising mindfulness, and finding healthy ways to cope with and release emotions.
In this short episode, I chat about the practices you can start to regulate your emotions and end with a self reflection question you can journal on and ponder throughout your day.
I would love to know your thoughts and how you go about emotionally regulating yourself.
I'd love to hear from you!

When was the last time you were inspired to do something that brought you joy?
Inspiration can be the catalyst of incredible change in our lives. It can be as big or as little as needed to provide the spark or joy we experience and influence our state of being. But sometimes we can find ourselves living a life of boredom, monotony or high stress and the only focus is just to get through each day.
But what if all it took was a little hope?
A little trust.
A little inspiration to spark the desire to live a fuller life.
A life of excitement, joy and satisfaction.
A life that feels like all the juicy goodness gets squeezed out each day only to be done all over again the next?
Cue in Meditation teacher, writer and author Caitlin Cady. Caitlin's goal is to make it easier for you to feel happy, whole and high on life. To share the practical tools and powerful perspectives that will help you rediscover your magic, feel amazing, and plug into your full potential.

How do you get the best from yourself? For business owner and strength and conditioning coach, Josh Smith, it's all about having honest conversations with himself and with those close to him.

My number one value is to "help create a love of movement". - Katie
Today I have the pleasure of chatting with trainer and strength coach Katie St.Clair. Katie is passionate about helping people achieve their fitness goals while always considering their postural balance and joints and what I really love about Katie is her holistic approach to movement. Her skilful and precise explanations of what is happening biomechanically in different movements and how you can apply that to your own body is invaluable. If you head to her Instagram or her youtube channel you will see her address foundational principles around breathing mechanics, rib positioning spinal alignment and pelvis positioning and it’s through these teachings that have helped me become more aware of my ribs spine and pelvis in relation to exercise movements, especially those that require me to lift heavier and that is such a gift hat I’m grateful for so to chat with her today was super exciting for me.

Bloating, gas, constipation. At some point in our lives, we would've experienced these symptoms. If you're one of the lucky ones, it goes as quickly as it comes, but for most of us, gut issues play havoc with our health and well-being, which has a major impact on our lives and how we show up every day.
So what is happening and what can we do about it?
Cue Kirsty King, gut health-obsessed naturopath and founder of the Gut Recovery Centre. In her 20's Kirsty experienced "embarrassing gut problems" and had trouble finding answers, so she turned to a Naturopath. This experience and decision changed the trajectory of her life. A profound change in her gut and how she felt, spurred a passion for studying Naturopathy and helping others heal their gut.

Today on the show I chat with Quantum biologist Carrie Bennett. She has a clinical practice in Kalamazoo Michigan, working with clients to improve their health. Carrie breaks down what quantum biology is, how we apply that to our health, our healing, and how simple it can be to tweak a few things that we already do for better or optimal health.
And that’s what I love about this conversation.
Carrie explains the best ways to optimise our body on an extracellular level so that everything else that we do, that being all the good food we eat, the water we drink, the exercise we do, all have an even bigger and better impact because we’ve built good strong healthy foundations, and I am all about strong foundations!
We also cover:
Whilst we only scratch the surface of the impact of water and sunlight, Carrie elegantly explains why this is so crucial to good health and, more importantly, how simple it is to take action on creating better health habits.

Today on the show I have the absolute pleasure of chatting with Port Adelaide AFLW player Gemma Houghton.
Gemma had never played AFL before, but after having been found through a talent search open to all athletes, she was picked up by Fremantle Football Club in the inaugural season of the AFLW in 2017. Gemma has had an incredible career so far earning the status of one of the best forwards in the competition, but it hasn’t been without its challenges. At the end of the 2018 season, she was not offered another contract which forced her to rethink her future. Realising that footy is the dream she turned it all around.
Having played most of her career with Fremantle FC, in May 2022 she signed with the Port Adelaide Football Club and will go down in the history books kicking the clubs' first-ever goal.

Today on the show I welcome back David Jackson better known as Jacko where we chat about his experience running the ultra marathon The Ring O Fire in North Wales.
Back in 2013, Jacko suffered a seizure on at rugby training resulting in a bleed on the brain forcing his retirement from professional rugby. He couldn't run for nearly a year without triggering his symptoms and when he learnt how to breathe effectively and efficiently through nasal breathing, everything changed.
Having run his first marathon in October 2021, he set the Ring O Fire as his next challenge. This coastal ultra marathon takes runners on an extraordinary 135-mile (216km) journey, an epic race is staged over three consecutive days and follows the rugged and spectacular Anglesey Coastal Path.
Beauty aside, the extreme distance and variable terrain has sealed the race's reputation as one of the most challenging ultra marathons in the British Isles.
We chat about;
Jacko’s vulnerability is such a strength. His ability to explore his emotions and share his thoughts openly is something I respect and admire and I know this episode will resonate with you.

Today on the show I have the pleasure of chatting with Naturopath, Iridologist, Herbalist & Functional Medicine Practitioner Lucinda Miller and today we talk about Thyroid health and dive into autoimmune conditions as well.
Lucinda is a Naturopath, Iridologist, Herbalist & Functional Medicine Practitioner and takes a scientific and holistic approach to identifying health problems, using laboratory testing and gentle, natural interventions to provide solutions.
If you’ve been following me for a while and have listened to my story, you’ll know that I have thyroid challenges and that’s in the form of Thyroid nodules. My journey into thyroid health was because my specialists told me there was absolutely nothing I could do about it, which may be true, but what troubled me the most was that there was no advice or even any direction on how I could manage my health, stress, emotions, nutrition and gut health to hopefully prevent more nodules from growing or to stop or even slow down the growth of the current nodules.
That’s how I came across Lucinda. After hearing her talk about Thyroid health and gut health on another podcast, I had to get her on the show as I was dying to ask her even more questions! There is so much information out there and Lucinda has this beautiful way of sharing stories that resonate and cutting to the chase of what to do.

This is a jam-packed show, so if you’re unsure of what action to take she gives some really simple and safe ways to look after your thyroid and gut health too.

If you think Pelvic Floor Health is only for Pilates classes and postpartum women, you'd be wrong. The impact of pelvic floor dysfunction is rarely discussed and this often-ignored problem affects both men and women. It can impact not only your quality of life but your sports performance also.
In this episode, I talk to Dr. Jessica Warnecke, orthopaedic and pelvic floor physical therapist and founder of PACE Physical Therapy in Austin, Texas. She focuses on holistically treating each person she works with and helping them find the root cause of their concerns in order to empower them with the tools and support they need to heal.

"Rest is about restoration, restoring the parts of us that are depleted, the parts of us that get drained when we are doing whatever different activities are a part of our life." - Dr Saundra Dalton-Smith There's no one-size-fits-all way to feeling fully rejuvenated and recovered and when we think of rest, recovery or even exhaustion we immediately think about sleep and getting more of it. But according to Dr Saundra Dalton-Smith, that only scratches the surface of what it really means to be fully rested.
Dr Saundra Dalton-Smith is a Board-Certified internal medicine physician and work-life integration researcher. She is the author of Sacred Rest: Recover Your Life, Renew Your Energy, Restore Your Sanity, where she writes about the seven types of rest needed to optimize your productivity, increase your overall happiness, overcome burnout, and live your best life.
On this episode, we talk about what it means to be rested and why sleep, whilst incredibly important, is not always the answer. Dr Saundra explains why building self-awareness to firstly identify what type of rest you need and listening to your body is crucial to understanding what type of rest you need and how you can get it.
This episode is full of easy-to-apply strategies that will immediately help you restore your energy and not only feel your best but perform at your best!

Today on the show I chat with Paralympic Gold Medal Para-cyclist Darren Hicks. From age 10 to 29 Darren loved riding BMX but in 2014 a motor vehicle accident changed all of that. Darren suffered severe leg and neck trauma with his right leg being amputated above the knee, and his C2 vertebra was so severely broken it required surgical fixation.
But less than a year after the accident Darren competed for the first time as a Para-athlete in 2015.
Darren became a two-time World Champion and set a world record time in 2019 in the C2 3km Individual Pursuit and was named as Cycling Australia’s 2019 Male Road Para-cyclist of the Year.
He wore the green and gold at his first Games at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games winning a silver in the men’s 3000m individual pursuit and then Gold in the C2 24-kilometre men’s time trial.
Darren went on to receiveOrder of Australia Medal for service to sport as a gold medallist at the Tokyo Paralympic Games 2020
Today we talk about the accident that changed his life, his transition from riding with a prosthetic to without it and the training load necessary to become the world-class Para-cyclist he is today.
At the end of the interview, after I concluded the episode, Darren and I continued to chat and it was then that he revealed even more about his struggles in hospital after his accident. With his permission, it is included in the episode and at 10mins 38 is when you will hear it. It may be a trigger for some, so if you’re experiencing hardship at the moment, you may want to skip 2 minutes from 10:mins 38.
It was a privilege chatting with Darren and sharing his story and I hope you will be as inspired as I am.

Today on the show I chat with 2 x olympian, 3 x commonwealth games marathoner and Gold Medalist Jessica Stenson nee Trengove and to say I was excited about this conversation is an understatement.
Jess is Adelaide Running Royalty but you would never know it the way she carries herself. If she’s not running on the world stage you’ll find her at the local running events around Adelaide and the country either competing or supporting those that are racing. She ran an impressive 2:27:31 on an undulating course finishing 29 seconds in front of Kenya's Margaret Wangari Muriuki.
Jess's comeback after giving birth to beautiful little Billy back in 2019 hasn't been a smooth one but 24 months postpartum she has run a marathon PB at the Perth Marathon with a time of 2:25:15. Running stronger than ever, her Gold at The Birmingham Commonwealth Games has put her in the history books becoming the first female athlete to win three Commonwealth Marathon medals and is Australia’s first female Commonwealth Games Marathon champion since the late Kerryn McCann.
In this episode, we chat about her lead-up and prep to the race, her mindset throughout, how she managed the conditions and the importance of her teammates and her husband Dylan and their support throughout the marathon.
An incredible athlete and an even better human being.

Ayurveda is a holistic approach to healing the body and mind while maintaining balance and preventing dis-ease. It is this philosophy and practice that has helped me understand my body, my symptoms when unwell, my state of being, what energises me and what fuels my strength, creativity and work ethic. What if I told you becoming superhuman wasn't about being the fastest, fittest, strongest, wealthiest person that ever lived? If I told you it was a feeling, would you want to know how to feel it? To experience the feeling of being Superhuman? You see, becoming superhuman doesn't mean you are rid of all sickness, pain, ailments and suffering. Superhuman, to me, is taking positive action toward, a healthier, happier, more engaged, focused and joyful experience of being oneself. I have met and spoken to many people who have been through tragic accidents, experienced scary situations, have loved, lost, loved and lost again, and who are living with the disease but are the most resilient, level-headed, opportunity seeking and taking, loving, joyous people.
These people have mastered the art of becoming superhuman. They would never admit that though. To them, they are just getting by, day by day.
But the thing they all do?
Take action.
Sometimes it's great big action.
Sometimes small and humble.
And the action they take is for themselves for one sole purpose. To make a positive impact in that moment, that day or that week.
Whether that be starting or committing to a training routine, eating an extra piece of fruit, calling a loved one, drinking an extra glass of water, buying coffee for the person in line behind them or simply sleeping in an extra 30 minutes.
Sometimes the action doesn't even matter, only that there is action. Action creates momentum. Momentum creates a mental shift, a sense of purpose, power and determination... and if it doesn't? Keep taking action until it does. Because it will.
We only have now.
How do you want to experience it?

Tara LaFerrara was not immune to toxic internal chatter. Unhealthy eating habits, body image issues, and even binge drinking forced her out of her collegiate track scholarship. But having a love for movement, she eventually discovered how it could play a more positive and powerful role in her life.
And it's fuelled a passion to help other women, like you, learn how to approach movement, wellness and mindset in a way that can transform how you show up for yourself.
Today on the show I chat with fitness and wellness coach Tara LaFerrara and this was such a fun chat because I have been a fan and follower of hers for a long time now and it’s so refreshing to see someone of great influence in the fitness space who is real and unfiltered and calling out the BS in the industry! (because as you probably know by now, there is a lot of it!)
She’s one of the few who is a strong advocate for building healthy relationships with yourself, with food, with fitness and movement and seeing it as something that we GET TO DO and ENJOY and not have to do as punishment, so she’s really trying to help us make this positive mindset and lifestyle shifts for the long term.

Today on the show I have the pleasure of chatting with 2x Paralympian, Long Jumper Sarah Walsh.
Sarah was born with fibular hemimelia which led to her right leg being amputated below the knee when she was 18 months old. At 10 years years of age, whilst watching other Para Athletes compete at the 2008 Beijing Paralympics, it was then that she decided she would one day compete and represent Australia at a Paralympics. 8 years later she made that dream come true and competed in her first Paralympics at the 2016 Rio Games. An experience that only fuelled the fire, set her up for a bronze medal at the 2019 Dubai World Para Athletic Championships and a second Paralympic appearance in Tokyo.
We chat about fibula hemimelia, her love of sport growing up, her dream to become a Paralympian, her passion to get better for Paris, and the importance of people with disabilities being at the forefront of mainstream media and getting the representation and equality they deserve. We also get an insight into her Long Jump routine and some of the technicalities of the sport.

Everyone breathes. But do we breathe ‘correctly’?
Today on the show, I chat with Oxygen Advantage Master Instructor and Breathwork coach, David Jackson, better known as Jacko, and we chat about all things, breathing. Now I know what you're thinking, what is there possibly to know about the thing that we do every second of every day of our lives?
Well, turns out there's a whole lot that you need to know. And actually, we're probably not doing it all that great. Could we be doing it better? Yes, of course, could we use it to our advantage so that we can improve our performance? Absolutely. And that's what we chat about today.
Jacko dives deep into the biochemistry and biomechanics around breathing, the importance of carbon dioxide and why we need it, he breaks down the BOLT score, what it is, why you need to know it, and how you can use it to measure your breathing progress and tolerance to carbon dioxide, AND ultimately, how that will improve your performance.
When we breathe effectively, the flow-on effect is that of improved focus, cognitive function, better sleep, better stress management, and the list goes on.
Regardless if you're an athlete of any level or not, breathing is a part of life and the better we can do that, the better quality of life that we will have.
So take a deep breath (through the nose;) and listen to Jacko’s fantastic insight and advice on breathing for performance.

Today I have the absolute pleasure of chatting with 2 incredible clients of mine Tessa Moorfield and Julian Bennett about their experience and journey to conquering Ultraman Australia. They both completed the 3-day event in extraordinary style with Tessa finishing 2nd Female overall and Julian 4th Male overall. They share how they prepared, managed the dark times, and how their coach, friends, and family played a major role in completing the Ultraman.
Tessa, is a builder and owner of Moor living, and started triathlons 7 years ago and has an impressive list of marathons and triathlons under her belt.
Julian works for Royal Flying Doctors Service and is the director with the In2EdAfrica foundation and a youth mentor through Raise.
Julian took up triathlon in 2018 when he and his brother set themselves the challenge of training for and doing an ironman within 12 months.
Having done a handful of Olympic and 70.3 (half ironmans) and 3 full ironmans both he and Tessa came together to set their next big challenge. To complete the Ultraman Australia.
Having both been coached by World Champion Richard Thompson, we get an insight into what their program looked like, the changes made along the way and the valuable lessons about nutrition, recovery and mindset needed to accomplish this extraordinary challenge.
I’m in awe of both Tessa and Julian. Not only are they incredibly disciplined and driven to achieve their goals to the best of their ability, but they are also incredibly honest and humble about the entire experience.
They are good people doing extraordinary things. Julian has also been raising funds for 4 charities very close to him.
In2Ed Africa, barncancerfonden, Nairobi hospice, Healing with Horsemanship, which you’ll hear a little more about in today's episode. To support Juliana and these incredible charities please visit the link below.

Back for the 3rd time on the show, I chat with my good friend Matt Jones about how to build a strong and resilient mindset so you can not only stay mentally healthy and strong, but thrive in life and athletic performance.
At age 15, Matt Jones broke his neck in an horrific BMX racing accident. He awoke in hospital with no memory of the crash or the weeks prior, at that point the doctors didn’t know whether he would ever walk or move his arms again. The risk and fear of permanent brain damage was also very real. Luckily for Matt his spinal cord was intact and the swelling in his skull reduced. Surgeons performed a bone graft and inserted a metal plate into his neck and the surgery was a great success.
Matt's diverse experience in life and his profession makes him the perfect person to talk to. He has competed at an elite level as a professional athlete, he's provided strength and conditioning coaching to elite athletes, law enforcement and military, chronic back sufferers, teaches Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and taught self defence principles to people like you and me.
We talk about perspective, managing social media, dealing with external and internal pressure and managing mindset through injury.
This episode is a deep dive into what it means to have a healthy mindset and how you can change your perspective for mental and physical wellbeing.
As a 14 month old baby, doctors told David Kuhne's parents that he would never run or play sports. Completing a marathon in minus thirty five degrees on unforgiving terrain is something David will happily do again!
David explains the ins and outs of running this incredible event and why everyone should consider the North Pole Marathon.

Needless to say, it's something he's very good at. Running 100km events is now the new norm. There is no secret method or special race plane he follows. He keeps it simple and thinks you should too.

Whilst these impressive movements can be apart of a Crossfit workout, the beauty of Crossfit training is that it is for every person, of every age, and every level of fitness. Nathan takes us through the misconceptions of Crossfit, how to motivate yourself and keep accountable and how to balance your health and fitness with work and family life.

She had never kayaked in her life, but decided she was going to solo kayak the 400km Clarence River. Unassisted. And she did.
A 2 year preparation, in May 2017 she was the first person to solo kayak the Clarence River. Some stretches of the river said to be "un-passable".
We talk about the preparation and what it took to become not only physically and mentally fit but how to be fully self reliant. She learnt bush survival, navigation, how to hunt and trap, how to forage, and learn the medicinal uses of plants. Honing her skills with a healthy respect for the land, river, local communities and her family.
This 14 day journey had setbacks right from the beginning but Hayley's thought process, rationalisation and pure drive to accomplish this massive task is not only inspiring, it truly lifts the veil on all things "impossible", because as she found out on her journey, there are no ceilings.

I decided to start season 2 with my story. Who the heck am I?! (I still ask this question) Why am I doing this and how on earth did I get here. I've pretty much been self employed and run a business my entire career. It's a tough gig... and it got real tough.
Whilst we all like to put on a brave face and weather the storm, the reality is, something's gotta give. And it did for me and I'm slowly learning how to manage. Did I know all along that my actions and behaviours would result in this? I believe so, but I thought I had no choice. To keep going because I thought the consequences of stopping, taking a break, giving myself time, would mean everything would fall apart. Instead I slowly drove myself into the ground. I had to stop, because in the end my body gave me no choice.
The reason I share my experience is two fold;
Because this story of working so hard that we forget about ourselves, about our own health and our own needs is all too common, and that you too, need to take stock of your health, wellbeing and self care.
I wanted to give you some insight into who I am and where I started. It's a very condensed version of my career but my passion has always been to help others.
I believe our body's are truly incredible. Our ability to heal, adapt and evolve is extraordinary.
Whilst I believe this to be true, nor do I want to be insensitive to those dealing with terminal diseases.
This Podcast is not about false hope but about learning what we are capable of within our control. Nor is this podcast a replacement for medical advice .

An injury and change in perspective was all it took for Steve McKenna to once again, take up his love for running and try his luck at triathlons. He has been awarded SA triathlete of the year 4 times in 4 years and has now moved back to long course racing with a Professional Triathlete Organisation World Ranking of #51. Ange's positivity in herself, her health, life and business would make you think she won the lottery.
But in her early 30's she was diagnosed with 2 chronic conditions, Hashimoto’s Disease (when your immune system attacks your thyroid and it stops producing hormones) and Fibromyalgia (a condition that causes pain in the muscles and bones, along with fatigue and poor sleep). Wanting to educate herself in her conditions and take ownership of her life, she did extensive research and made health and wellness her number one priority.
But her next health challenge would prove to be her biggest. Ange was diagnosed with severe dilated cardiomyopathy (a disease of the heart muscle, where the heart cannot pump blood as well as it should), putting her at risk of needing an automated external defibrillator (AED) or, potentially, a heart transplant.
An incredible woman with a zest for life despite her challenges. This is her story.

At 73, Ingrid Nielsen is in the fittest and strongest shape of her life. When you hear her talk about her training, you'd be forgiven to think she's been training her whole life, but Ingrid only started running at 67, ran a half marathon 6 months later and 2 years after that, at 68, she ran her first marathon.
If that weren't impressive enough already, Ingrid has the most incredible life story, having grown up in Cape Town and Johannesburg, South Africa, Was a nun from the ages of 16-21, studied medicine, married an actor, divorced said actor 3 kids later, became a forensic pathologist, emigrated to Australia , became a Psychiatrist and opened a private practice at 45 to which she burnt herself out at 55.
She took a year off, went back to practice and slowly started to realise the life she was living wasn't sustainable.....
If you think you're too old to start a new life, you're not.
If you're think you're too old to start exercising, you're not.
If you think you can't, you can..... and Ingrid is the perfect example.
When it comes to human performance and potential, Craig Harper is a straight shooter and is drawn to the complexities and intricacies that make us human.
