It's a mysterious moment when you get to see Jesus. Moments when forgiveness triumphs or when we see the powers of this world crumble under the weight of their own judgements. The days are surely coming. Yes, they surely are.

For God so loved the world. The crystal clear expression of God's commitment to the world is a gift of love. Disappointment, spite, vengeance or punishment are desires that fester in our broken hearts, but God shows us a way that is completely graceful, completely accepting, completely loving. So Jesus can say with all confidence, follow me and I will show you a more excellent way.

Upset over the misuse of the temple space dedicated for all people, the tables of the moneychangers are turned over. Wherever there are limits put on the access to God's mercy and justice confrontation seems to boil over.
