The Premise Podcast comes up with a new premise for a podcast every episode. Every week, we're a new podcast & treat the previous week like a distant memory that means nothing to us. Join Bo Segrest & his frequent co-host Stevan Marcus on their journey to have not just one pod, but many pods that only last one episode.

REPOST: Every week, competitors come on the Slumdog Millionaire Affair Podcast Game Show (SMAPGS) wide-eyed and full of hope, but they leave with their wrong answers and without $20 cash in their pockets. However, this week Jameson Floyd brings his interesting life experiences and hopes to use them to win that $20.
We see flashbacks of Jameson's life in the form of an interview (with hosts Bo and Stevan asking the important questions.)
Never before has a contestant answered all twelve questions correctly, but something tells me (an unpaid intern) that Jameson just might be the one to win this made-up game show.

This week, Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen has hired Dr. Katie Corbin to privately counsel the members of the JLA. She meets with Batman, Superman, the Flash, Wonder Woman, and Martian Manhunter and tries to help them with all of their problems and dead parents.
The Justice League is all the rage now that the Snyder Cut trailer has come out. In addition to counseling the heroes, Katie has to learn as much as she can about them so she can pass her DC Comics trivia quiz.

Every week, Bo and Seth get emails from their listeners, who describe their least favorite murders. Bo and Seth hate this, because they HATE murder. They don't like it. They don't like to talk about it, to hear about it, or to be written into about it. They especially hate murderers and they hate it even more when someone gets murdered. That's the worst. Murder is disgusting and vile to them. They wish they hosted a different podcast.
This week, more of everyone's favorite workplace conflict. HR rep Andrew Hodnette and his friend Bo Segrest give advice -- what may be life-saving advice -- to a business consultant and a bank robber.
Every week, Listeners email Bo and Andrew with details on their workplace conflicts. Andrew is an HR rep who is able to give the listeners advice from an HR perspective. Bo, coming in with a podcast perspective, does his best to stir up the pot and make the conflicts as interesting for his podcast demographic as possible.

Every week, famous actors from around the world come together to read adaptations from the public domain. These famous actors have performed such works as Jane Eyre, the Scarlet Letter, and a very tasteful version of the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Our host, Bo Segrest, adapts these classics into ten-minute plays, which take about twenty minutes to perform on a podcast, what with all the stage directions and dramatic pauses. This week, Bo compiles a group of the greatest actors in the world (according to some) to perform his adaptations of A Christmas Carol, the Old Man and the Sea, and Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. If you love classics, then you'll love these new versions of the classics, I'm sure.

Every week, a guest with an upcoming date comes on the show. Bo gives them advice for their date in order to save it for the disaster that it would be if they didn't have Bo's help. The guest then goes on their date and then comes back to record the second half of the podcast, wherein the guest reveals how the date went, and how Bo's advice helped them. This week, Taylor Vaughan is on the show to get advice for her upcoming date with a nice man in Dallas. Taylor is oh so nervous, but that's okay! Bo has much wisdom when it comes to dating and he will ensure that Taylor will do well.
Every week, Bo interviews an interesting robot, who shares about their life experiences, primary functions, and what it's like to be a robot.
This week, Bo interviews Moltotron 3000. Moltotron 3000 is a robot built by the evil scientist Dr. Alcamaddux de Trumboli. Dr. Alcamaddux is an evil scientist who was featured in Time Magazine's 200 Most Evil Scientists of the 20th Century issue. Dr. Alcamaddux is now serving one hundred and nineteen consecutive life sentences for his crimes against humanity. One time, Dr. Alcamaddux kidnapped Michael J. Fox, who was at that time one of the top stars in Hollywood. Dr. Alcamaddux was foiled by Seal Team Six, who successfully extracted Mr. Fox from Dr. Alcamaddux's active volcano hideout.
Moltotron 3000 has led a very fascinating life, and she shares much of it with the shows host, Bo. The show's unpaid intern, Muscosch, is very fearful of Moltotron 3000.
Once the Podcachelor Contest ends, the Podcachelor meets their Podcast soulmate. That's the story for Becca M, who met her dream co-host! Now, they have their own Podcast, and are loving it! The Hollywood Dinner Party Podcast has it all--cooking, celebrities, and sheer power of will! These are two strong, independent women who are both in serious relationships and they are ready to host some A-listers for dinner!
I don't want to spoil who this week's guests are. You'll have to listen to the episode to find that out. But, I'll give you a hint in the form of a riddle (Muscosh loves riddles, and I'm Muscosh.)

Every week Bo, Sam, and Stevan take an original scene from a movie that was adapted from a book and try to write that original scene back into the original book. The guys then determine whether the original author would appreciate this addition to their masterpiece or roll over in their grave. This week, the guys get some help from Shakespeare expert Matt Carey to try to write the "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" scene from 10 Things I Hate About You back into the classic Shakespeare play, Taming of the Shrew.

Stevan has seen all episodes of Futurama, and he helps Sam and Bo determine if the show is watchable.
