This episode is just a quick check-in. A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of reading a book by radio personality Charlamagne the God, Black Privilege: Opportunity Comes to Those Who Create it.
I thought a good place to start the podcast off was with someone I thought I knew a lot about but after reading about his life in his own words, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was much more militant, brilliant and forward thinking than I gave him credit for.
